A nice stop along the bike path with delicious cakes from the pastry shop. The other dishes are home-style and freshly prepared. The service was attentive and friendly.

On Sundays, there's a super-rich breakfast, from small to large, at a fair price. A beautiful place, an absolute insider tip! The view from the terrace of the Diescholls oxbow lake is breathtaking.

A very nice cycling restaurant! I always look forward to going there again. I can only recommend it.

We were there last Saturday with our cycling group of 15 people. The service was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the value for money was simply amazing. At the end of the meal, we even got a free espresso or cappuccino. We'd love to come back.

We visited the "Zum Bootshaus" restaurant today as part of a daycare outing – and were completely satisfied! Even beforehand, communication with the team was very friendly and accommodating. Our special needs with a larger group of children were understood and accommodated with great patience. The atmosphere on site was warm and welcoming. The interior is cozy and rustic, with enough space even for a larger group like ours. The food was child-friendly, fresh, and delicious. The portions were plentiful and lovingly prepared – both for the little ones and the accompanying adults. A big compliment goes to the staff: always friendly, patient, and helpful. In conclusion: The "Zum Bootshaus" restaurant is highly recommended for families and groups with children. We would be happy to come back!

Oh, how lovely it is to sit here, right on the Rhine, especially on the terrace when the weather's nice. It couldn't be better. However, it's become very expensive these days. We were actually planning on having asparagus, but then changed our minds and were very happy with our choice.

This was our first time for breakfast. They serve breakfast à la carte. We had the large breakfast and the medium breakfast. My breakfast was vegetarian. We were very satisfied. A large selection of cold cuts and cheeses. Coffee (pot) was included in the price. We would gladly come back. This time we went for lunch. We had tagliatelle with mushrooms and salad, and pork fillet with hash browns and salad. Both were delicious. The portions were decent. The owners are very nice. We've been there several times and have sat on the lovely little terrace in the sunshine. The tranquility there is unbeatable. A large, delicious selection of cakes. We would gladly come back.

Our first visit, the landlord was hardworking and hardworking. Besides the view, the Siegtal beer was the best thing. The daily menu included around 10 dishes plus a potato pancake menu. The Jägerschnitzel we ordered was relatively inexpensive for the location at €16, but too expensive in terms of quantity and quality. The side salad was okay, the schnitzel was small and tough, the few fries were average and the hunter's sauce tasted like it came out of a bag with four pieces of mushrooms... every chip shop can do better and cheaper. The pasta with mushroom sauce that I also ordered was a little better without being great. It's a shame, but our last visit there.

When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace with a view of the water. Splendid!! The food was delicious and we received friendly service. We'll be back.

In short: ambience great, service and quality of food poor. Ready-made schnitzel is quickly prepared for serving and then sent to the customer. Service unfriendly and annoying. no vegetarian products, instead fries are only served with reluctance and that for around 10 euros with a small side salad is awesome. We will never visit this restaurant again.

It was really great today on the terrace in the boathouse above the Sieg Aue. Even the view is fantastic. I totally relaxed after the bike tour to Drachenfels. Thanks again to the service and the Siegtaler Landbier on tap was very tasty and felt good. Will come again. Perfect stop for cyclists because there was a large carport for safe parking.

The boathouse is really beautiful. It was my second time there with my husband and we both felt very comfortable. The food is really enough for one person and very tasty. I'm still excited.

Unfortunately, the coffee was incredibly bitter and unfortunately it is not clear that the kitchen is only available from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. I was a little uncomfortable because the waiter was supporting himself on our table with both hands while we were paying. As if he couldn't stand anymore. I felt very sorry for him and felt guilty.

Wonderful ambience with a cozy terrace and cozy interior. The operators with their idiosyncratic charm offer small dishes and delicious cakes, the fresh plum cake is particularly recommended. Nice destination for a bike tour or just because. We'd love to come back.

There is a really great breakfast there that will fill everyone up. You are always greeted in a friendly manner and the service is simply top notch. One of my favorite restaurants. Not necessarily to eat (although the cake is always very, very good), but rather in summer to enjoy a coffee or a beer on the beautiful terrace. It's a shame that only cash payment is possible. But this is advertised and you can adjust to it. Nevertheless, it would of course be better these days if we were a little more flexible. Nevertheless, I always really enjoy coming here. So far I have always received very friendly and quick service and there has always been a little chat.

Unfortunately we couldn't order a single portion of fries but were forced to order a dish with fries or nothing. The currywurst was warmed up and the fries were so few that you could count them at a glance. Card payment not possible and this after the pandemic where this type of payment has become very widespread and widely accepted. Here we don't act in the interests of our customers... what a shame!

We waited 3/4 hour for us to be able to order something. The landlord probably didn't like our nose.

Were invited to a family celebration. Here we were offered an all-round carefree package, great buffet and quick service. It is also a great place to spend some time on bike tours in the Siegauen. It's also worth visiting the Fisherman's Museum next door on the weekend.

Went there for the second time today for breakfast. There are several variants to choose from. Special requests can be made. The operator is very nice and there is always a little chat. The view is very beautiful and you can spend a comfortable time there. Different types of cakes are also offered. On-site parking. I would recommend booking in advance. We'd love to come back👍🏻

Das Bootshaus ist ein toller Ort wo man Stunden verbringen kann. Tolle Terrasse mit schöner Aussicht, schnelle und super freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen und sehr freundliche Besitzer. Also nur zu empfehlen!!

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne ins Restaurant Bootshaus. Das Wirtepaar ist sehr freundlich und geht auf jeden Wunsch ein. Wir sind meistens in einer kleinen Gruppe hier, waren aber auch schon mit 50 Personen zum Kaffee und Kuchen da. Alles super gewesen! Die Kritik mancher Leute ist ungeheuerlich!!! Wenn einem was nicht passt, sollte man das gleich vor Ort klären!

Sehr freundliches Personal, das essen ist sehr lecker. Das Frühstück ist genial, reichlich und sehr lecker. Würde es jedem weiter empfehlen. Wir gehen gerne dort essen.

Wir waren am Samstag mit einer Gesellschaft im Bootshaus. Essen und Getränke waren sehr gut und lecker. Das Ambiente war sehr schön und alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend.

Wir waren mit der Familie zum Frühstück hier – sehr reichhaltig, lecker und schön angerichtet mit einer großen Auswahl an frischer Wurst und Käse. Haben nachher noch ein Siegtaler Bier getrunken, sehr lecker und süffig!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Wunderschöne Aussicht, freundlicher Service und guter Kuchen.

Das Essen war ein Gedicht in Worten nicht zu beschreiben. Der Service ,die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist Top auch die Aussicht Top. Vom Preis her lässt sich nix sagen kann man nicht meckern das Verhältnis mit der Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung. Hier Räuchert der Wirt noch selbst die frischen Forellen. Dieses Restaurant ist ein Muss und das daneben liegende Fischerreimuseum immer einen Besuch wert von der Landkarte des guten Geschmacks nicht mehr wegzudenken.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, zügig bedient und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren für den Preis sehr reichhaltig. Sehr gemütliche Terasse mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick.

Schönes gemütliches Lokal mit einer tollen Seeterasse . Der Ausblick von dort übers Discholls in die Siegniederung ist gigantisch. Wir waren nun schon mehrfach zum Frühstück mit unsern Freunden dort und es bleibt eie es am Anfang war , einfach ,, toll " reichlich an Wurst und Käse und alles ,, frisch" nichts abgepacktes !!! Läääääcka Brötchen in verschiedenen Ausführungen und reichlich Brot dazu . Ich kann Ute und Günther , die Wirtsleute nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Super lecker Essen!!! Wir sind sehr oft da und immer super zufrieden! Das Essen schmeckt wunderbar, immer frisch vorbereitet! Immer zu empfehlen!!!

Prompte Bedienung, Gerichte waren ausreichend und schmackhaft. Tipp. Die Teller anwärmen, dann bleibt das Essen komplett warm.

Einzigartiger Ausblick ohne Massenturismus

Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung Der Ausblick auf Wasser und Wildnis, einfach schön.

Neben dem Fischereimuseum gibt ein gemüdliches Restaurant und heißt "Zum Bootshaus". Leider ist zu Zeit das Restaurant geschlossen wegen Lockdown, aber verkaufen dafür to go, vorlänger Zeit habe ich mir ein Becher Kaffee und ein Stück selbstgemachter Marmorkuchen (sehr lecker und Schmeckte richtig gut) gekauft.

Heute nach einem langen Spaziergang leckere Reibekuchen to go mitgenommen. Geschmacklich hervorragend und zur Nachahmung empfohlen. Wenn die Terrasse wieder geöffnet hat, dann genießt Ihr diesen gechillten Blick

Waren hier zum ersten mal,schöne Terrasse am Sitz hier sehr .Haben ein Siegtaler Bier getrunken, sehr lecker und süffig👍,und ein Salat Teller gegessen, mega lecker do wie es sein soll. Kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder!!
