Nach langem Suchen und mehrerer schlechten Erfahrungen ein tolles griechisches Restaurant auf Empfehlung gefunden. Das war ein super Gyros überbacken. Danke, ich werde wiederkommen.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal bei MK Theo und sind begeistert. Die teilweise schlechten Bewertungen können wir nicht verstehen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen war sehr gut. Die Zutaten frisch und auf den Punkt gewürzt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist bei der Qualität und der großen Portionen sehr fair. Wir kommen wieder und können dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

Eine Institution. Unschlagbarer Gyros! Komme immer gerne. Vielleicht könnte man mal mit der Zeit gehen und EC Zahlung anbieten.

Wir fahren extra aus Leverkusen zu Theo, weil es so toll ist und gut schmeckt. Das sagt eigentlich schon alles aus meiner Meinung nach!

Hat uns garnicht überzeugt. Fleisch trocken und sonst auch kein Highlight

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder da gewesen, muss sagen ist nicht mehr das selbe wie früher!!! Es war nicht voll aber trotzdem 1 Stunde auf das Essen warten ist schon eine Hausnummer, geschmacklich war das Fleisch trocken und die Chefin unfreundlich. Ich weiß nicht ob das der neue Standard ist oder einfach nur ein schlechter Tag war.

Unfassbar leckeres Bifteki und Gyros! Die Portion ist mehr als ausreichend, sodass wir unseren Rest haben einpacken lassen. Die negativen Rezensionen über den Preis können wir nicht nachvollziehen! Wir selbst kommen aus Hennef und da herrschen deutlich andere Preise und Portionen. Wir kommen wieder, es war fantastisch!

Der Ort war für unseren Geschmack zu wenig einladend Wir sind wieder gefahren

Gyros nach Art des Hauses, war sehr lecker, Fleischmenge total fair aufgefüllt, da ich keine Pommes wollte (die eigentlich dazu gehören) der griechische Salat dabei ist ausbaufähig. 2 Stückchen gurke, 2 Stückchen Tomate ein kleines dreieck Feta, 1 Olive...da geht mehr ;-) Alles in allem lecker, gute Menge, fairer Preis, schneller Service. Ich esse nicht oft Gyros, aber ich werde es wieder hier essen.

Mk Theo's ist immer wieder gut. Ich kenne es seit dem ich denke kann. Mk Theo's ist ein Stück Troisdorf, ein Stück Heimat.

Waren gestern da es hat wie immer lecker geschmeckt alle sind super nett und freundlich haben aber den Theo vermisst trotzdem kommen wir immer wieder gerne dahin

Gehe schon sehr viele Jahre zu MC Theo und ich bin nach wie vor,mehr als zufrieden mit dem Essen. Ist egal was man bestellt, alles ist immer frisch zubereitet. Auch an großes Lob an die immer freundlichen Mitarbeiter.

War früher mal richtig gut und lecker. Leider nicht mehr so gut, Preise sehr happig. Öffnungszeiten jetzt nur noch bis 21 Uhr. Wir machen´s auf die griechische Art, aber die Mitarbeiter sind fast alle Türkisch ! Halbe Belegschaft freundlich die andere mürrig genervt !

Heute 15 Dezember 15 .45 Uhr wollten wir mit drei Personen dort essen gehen. Bis auf einem Tisch war es komplett leer. Aber diese eine Tisch bekam die volle Aufmerksamkeit. Chefin spielte lieber mit einem kleinen Kind und es wurde laut gelacht aber wir wurden.nicht bedient . Die Dame hinter der Theke guckte uns zwar mehrfach an aber da kam auch nichts und dann sind wir nach 10 Minuten wieder gegangen. Unverschämt! Mit freundlichen Grüßen und nie wieder.

Immer wieder lecker. Früher war ich öfters da. Seit dem ich nicht mehr dort in der Nähe wohne, ist es für mich was besonderes geworden und schon fast ein muß, wenn ich dann mal da bin.

Essen war gut 👍! Leider war der Gastraum sehr kalt. (Heizung?)

Das beste Gyros und den leckersten Salaten in der Umgebung

War jetzt zum zweiten Mal hier essen und muss gestehen das ich wirklich sehr begeistert bin. Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen ist geschmacklich wirklich gut. Wohne erst seit ein paar Monaten in der Gegend und hatte schon gehört und gelesen das dies ein guter Ort ist um Essen zu gehen. Hatte mir Spaßes halber auch mal ein wenig mit den anderen Bewertungen auseinandergesetzt. Besonders eine hat mich sehr amüsiert. Wenn man in einen Imbiss geht finde ich es etwas befremdlich die Fettigkeiten von etwas negativ hervorzuheben und angesichts dessen das hier gefühlt alles dicht macht ist es beruhigend und schön zu sehen das manche Dinge sich halten weil sie einen guten Anklang finden. Ich persönlich denke das die Inhaber auch noch 30 weitere Jahre auf derartige Gäste verzichten können. :D Ich persönlich hatte nichts auszusetzen und komme gerne wieder.

Ich war nach 30 Jahren zum ersten Mal wieder bei Mk Theo. Das Gyrosfleisch ist etwas trocken, das Bifteki zu fettig, die Pommes zu hart. Satt wurde man, mehr aber auch nicht. Wirklich sehr gut und zuvorkommend ist das Personal, was den Kantinencharakter etwas überdeckt. Ich schaue dann mal in wieder 30 Jahren vorbei. Vielleicht gibt es dann auch mal digitale Zahlungsmittel zum Bezahlen...

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung.

It's not as cheap as it used to be, but the quality is excellent! We even got a small dessert on the house (rice pudding with cinnamon). The service and staff are always very friendly. We love coming there and enjoying the delicious food.

A long-established Greek restaurant (over 45 years old). The food is always good quality and the portions are generous. The service is always friendly. I used to go there as a teenager. I highly recommend it; I enjoy going there. The ambiance is more like an upscale snack bar than a restaurant, but the prices are also similar to those of a snack bar.

Unfortunately, there was raw meat in the bifteki, both portions. Thankfully, we didn't get anything from it. All in all, disappointing. A waste of money, at €16.50 per portion. Drinks were covered by the house, but unless we're absolutely forced to, we won't be going back for a long time. Tried and tested, cash payment on site, huge portions, everything fresh, what more could you want?

We had a fantastic lunch at this Greek restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – the dishes were authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. We especially loved the homemade tzatziki. The portions were so generous, we even brought home doggy bags! The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, but the absolute highlight was the warm service. The lady was incredibly friendly, always with a smile, and so fond of children – our children were treated like little stars, with extra attention and little treats. A real insider tip for lovers of Greek cuisine and warm hospitality. We'll definitely be back! 😊

Well, I don't want to be unfair. The food was very tasty, typically heavily spiced. The portions were good. When some people say the price-performance ratio is absolutely amazing, I have to say: that's not true. Our regular Greek restaurant in St. Augustin/Niederpleis has equally good portions, up to €4 less, with at least the same quality. Unfortunately, we had to wait an extremely long time for our food – it was truly outrageous. The cook stood in the dining area chatting with some women instead of cooking for waiting guests, which is her job, while people wait. People who ordered after us were served their food earlier, while we continued to wait. I was actually ready to get up, pay for our drinks, and then leave. After about 50 minutes, the waiter came and brought two ouzos, on the house, because of the wait. Sorry, the gesture is nice, but to simply leave ouzo for someone who doesn't drink it, instead of asking if you could get them something as an apology, and then listing various options... When I was paying, the owner noticed my mood and apologized again, but instead of admitting that they had simply forgotten about us, he said: it was so busy... we were sitting outside, had everything in view. It wasn't busy. So, an excuse... No, we definitely won't be visiting this place again anytime soon. That's not how you'll gain new customers in the long run...

The best Greek grill with delicious gyros and a very tasty currywurst. The special fries are also fantastic. A cozy atmosphere with polite service.

Unfortunately, the place isn't what it used to be. I should have noticed other customers returning their more than half-full plates. The best thing about the currywurst with fries was the mayonnaise! The food is, quite literally, absolute diarrhea food. It's no use if the staff is very nice but the food just doesn't taste good... what a shame.

The food here is delicious. The grilled sausages come with a variety of sauces, so everyone can find something they like. There's a large selection of food and drinks. The food is of good quality. I highly recommend it. The fries are crispy and the presentation on the plate is appealing. The shop is very clean and tidy.

On Sunday evening, March 23, 2025, he was back in top form, the old man behind the counter who was just making noises. Some of his colleagues acknowledge it with a smile, rather out of embarrassment, while the others just look at him expressionlessly. The guy is not only bad-tempered, but also latently aggressive. A few weeks ago it was similar: a guest who was waiting at the counter for his food said what was going on, why was he (the old man) in such a bad mood? "Because I have to work," was the answer. Yes, then he should just stay at home instead of poisoning the atmosphere there. Since I don't know when he'll be working there, I'll leave it alone in the future and don't want all the negative vibes anymore.

The employee serving behind the counter on the evening of April 20, 2025, was EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY!!!!! That's bad for business. I don't mean the boss with the braid.

Ate there at the suggestion of a friend and was really impressed with the food. Rarely have I had such a good grilled dish! Not managed by the quantity, price performance is sensational here.

We ate there today and were very shocked by the bill. We had a salad with gyro meat (they removed the peppers and corn and asked for the tzatziki on a separate plate) and a gyro "special" (a special dish). The portions were large and generous. We also had a Coke and a large Mezzo Mix. Later, the waiter asked me again if I would like yogurt dressing on the salad, which I said yes. We explained again that we didn't want an extra portion of tzatziki, but rather the one included in the salad on a small separate plate. The young man who served us confirmed this. The final bill came to €43.00, and we added about €36.00. That's a €7.00 difference that we can't explain, even with the best will in the world. Since the place was very busy and the line behind us at the checkout was very long, we left. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

MK Theo, the chip shop (sorry: "grill restaurant") with a two-tiered society!!! Only two people? Then ONLY on the (uncomfortable) wooden seating. Please, if you don't need any more money, please, then we'll go somewhere else...

Unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant today because there were only two of us there and we would have preferred to sit on the bench. The woman behind the counter told us that the benches were only allowed for four people. We didn't want to sit on the wooden chairs. The restaurant had exactly six customers at the time! You can't make any money that way. The portions were also much smaller last time than before, and then you raise the prices. Not me!

We wanted to eat at Mk Theo's Grillimbiss with four people on Sunday, December 1, 2024. When we walked in, only three tables in the entire snack bar were occupied. We wanted to sit at a table with the padded benches. Since we knew from the past that some tables always have a "Reserved" sign on them, we politely asked if we could sit at one with the padded benches. The employee with platinum blonde hair asked us if we had reserved a table. We replied no. We were directed to the tables with regular chairs, which also had "Reserved" signs on all of them. We pointed out that one person (80 years old) had recently undergone hip surgery, still uses walking aids, and had difficulty sitting on the chairs, so we would prefer to sit at a table with the padded benches. We were then told again that we couldn't sit at that table without a reservation, even though the chairs were comfortable. As regulars for 30 years, we've witnessed this particular employee being moody and unfriendly to guests on several occasions, and unfortunately, we've also been affected by this on several occasions. The owner, "Theo," himself has always been very friendly to his guests over the years. If Theo had been in the restaurant, something like this would never have happened. If this is now the snack bar's business policy to treat guests this way, we will stay away from the snack bar in the future.

We go there every now and then to eat, unfortunately the quality of the food has declined. Gyros are dry and what used to be much better is the way the food is served. Plate much too small, visually a disaster, dear Theo, I hope you can fix it.

Mk or Mc, the name Theo, stands for a top "traditional" snack bar that hardly exists, if at all, in Troisdorf anymore. Friendly, courteous employees, paired with an always in a good mood Theo, is a great combination. There is also delicious food and a recently renovated, clean shop where you can only feel at home.

We went to Theo's again after a long time and the food was great. At least you can say gyro plate.

To be honest, they haven't heard anything about hygiene... The nice lady who took the money with gloves on, mind you, immediately reached into the salad with the same gloves and prepared our food... what an aberration! And when you ask the lady about it, all you get is an incomprehensible look... I don't recommend it because the staff absolutely does not meet any haccp conditions, let alone that the employees have received hygiene protection instructions!

The staff and the atmosphere were very good, but the gyro meat was extremely oversalted. So I and the other people didn't like it at all and so the food worth €32 had to be thrown into the garbage can.

The food is super good. We have eaten there very often. Always good quality. But.....if the boss isn't there, nothing progresses. The young man and the waitresses probably have endless time. Talking on the phone and chatting works better for them than working. Very unfortunate.

Food was served quickly, but gyros were of poor quality, tzatziki also had no garlic or taste. Only fries were ok and waiters. No card payment! Not up to date these days.

We ate here with the family! We sat at a table outside! Unfortunately, it took a long time for someone to come and put away the previous people's dishes! Likewise, unfortunately, with ordering the food and the food itself! There was a lot going on and many people picked up their food there too! The food itself was a good portion and tasted delicious! My sister goes there often and has never had to wait so long! Must have had a bad day!

I was also very happy with the food today and I'll always come back. But I was a bit irritated when the young man who served me asked what I did for a living! Nothing against small talk, but my job shouldn't matter to you! Otherwise, as mentioned above, everything was great!

We decided to take the food with us. Pure travel time 5 minutes. At home the food was cold because it wasn't even wrapped in aluminum foil. Only in paper, this was the case Tzatziki came out of the bowl.

Hello everyone. I'm in Troisdorf after 7 years and was looking forward to a gyros. I was alone, it was pretty full outside, I sat down at a table for 4 people, the waitress came and asked if I was alone, I said yes. The lady said I should please sit at the single table, which was tiny and overloaded and also cramped. I politely told her it was too small for me. I could briefly see in her face that she couldn't understand it. But I should clear this table. Of course I complied with your request. I told her if she wanted that I could leave the place and everyone around noticed it. Her jaw dropped but she smiled very professionally and said goodbye to me. Sad about a shop I no longer enter.

Had two times Ordered gyros complete, when we got home we only had salad and a little meat. It was very annoying because we were really looking forward to gyros. A correction, the restaurant contacted me and apologized, we haven't gotten around to going there yet. Otherwise you get great food there.

Dear team, We spontaneously had the pleasure of stopping by your place today. There is a great high chair with a tray and seatbelt options for the little guests. All of the staff were very polite, happy to chat and took great care of our 18 month old little one. All in all, child-friendly, nice and courteous staff, very fair prices for a rich and delicious meal. It's a shame that we live so far away, but we'll definitely stop by next time we're in the area. No. Unfriendly service behind the counter. If you have a complaint or a question, it is simply dismissed and the customer is to blame. I was only there to eat because my local restaurant was closed. Never again, I'd rather cook myself.

Great food and friendly service. Preparing the two plates took a little longer, but we were able to get through the whole thing with ouzo.

After swimming we went there and had a good meal. I'm full. Attention, this is not a card chip, but cash payment. Staff is friendly.
