Jedesmal, wenn wir hier zu Besuch sind (aus Dresden) kommen wir hier zum Abendessen her. Es ist sehr schön hier. Essen Ambiente und Service sind Klasse. Einmal im Jahr sind wir da. So soll es auch bleiben. Danke an das komplette Team.

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gerne hier zu Gast - ob mit Freunden oder Familie. Enttäuscht wurde bisher noch niemand. Deshalb unsere klare Empfehlung: Wer die kroatische Küche mag, sollte diesem Lokal unbedingt einen Besuch abstatten.

A very nice, cozy restaurant where you receive a very friendly welcome. The food was excellent; I would almost say it's the best restaurant in the area. Prices are reasonable for the generous portions. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Every fall, we visit Kelheim with our campervan and enjoy a meal here in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and always remembers us! A wide selection from the extensive menu and affordable dishes! Delicious food, wonderful wine, and great background music. Highly recommended! We'll be back next fall!

We had reserved a table for 6 p.m. When we arrived on time, however, we found the doors locked. After a while the door was opened for us. Since we were the first guests, we were the first to order. Since we wanted to eat with 12 people, we were immediately asked who would like to receive the food first. This approach confused us a bit, so we decided on an order, the children first, the rest in any order. At around 7:30 p.m. we were asked again what the order was. At this point, several tables were already occupied and some guests had even eaten, paid and left the restaurant. When we were finally asked if anything was missing, we were surprised and answered: “The food.” We were then told that so many dishes could not be prepared so quickly. At the same time, we noticed that other guests who had arrived after us had already been served. That was incomprehensible to us. We were also made aware of the children several times. We were told that the furnishings were very expensive and that we should be particularly careful - a vase costs 300 euros. Our children sat at the table and were busy painting or watching Hot Wheels cars. Later we were warned again that the children would scratch the tables with the cars. All they did was drive the small wheels of the cars over the table, which I find hard to imagine causing any damage. All in all, our visit to the restaurant that evening left us with a very disappointing impression. Despite the sizable bill we settled, the experience was far from satisfactory. Our company has unanimously decided that, unfortunately, this will be the last time there!

Excellent food, even though we arrived to eat just before 2pm we were welcomed with open arms. Admirable: Even though we hadn't been there for many, many years, the landlord recognized us.

The food was nothing extraordinary, but all was fine until the bill arrived. I didn’t know the restaurant was cash only - it’s written nowhere on the menu - and when I said I only had a credit card, the server grabbed my phone out of my hand in a suggestion that if I didn’t return with euros, I wouldn’t get my phone. He ran into the restaurant with my phone. A customer behind me asked if I needed help after witnessing this. She — nobody at the restaurant — ultimately remedied the situation. Needless to say, customer service isn’t the best. I highly recommend eating elsewhere.

We had already made reservations for July 20th, 2024 Then everything worked out wonderfully. The service was great, the food was very, very tasty, really great. Thank you very much on behalf of me Our family, 10 adults and a little mouse, were totally thrilled.

The restaurant was very busy, but we were still lucky enough to get a seat. The food was super tasty and the portions were very generous. The salad was super fresh. The service was very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was very nice and took good care of us. All in all, it was a very nice evening and we can highly recommend the restaurant “Zum Alten Markt”. If you want to eat delicious food, you're in good hands there. Gladly again! Thank you!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und schnell bewirtet. Das Essen war top. Preise angemessen.

Immer freundlich und nett. Essen super lecker und immer im gleichen Niveau. Kann ich nur jeden empfehlen. Wir fahren nur wegen dem leckeren Essen bis nach Kelheim zum alten Markt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war gut, für meinem Geschmack war das Gemüse etwas verkocht und der Lachs ein wenig zu trocken. Das Personal und insbesondere der Chef sehr freundlich! Preis Leistung Verhältnis gut.

Essen ist sehr lecker. Große Portionen, davon wird man wirklich satt! Der Chef selber ist sehr freundlich und höflich. Alles in allem wirklich top!

Sehr gutes Essen..Service ebenfalls sehr gut. Ruhiges Ambiente. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort zum Essen. Der Chef lässt sich durch nix aus der Ruhe bringen und hat den Laden voll im Griff.

Geschmacklich war das Essen echt gut und sehr reichlich. Wir mussten an einem Donnerstag Abend auch nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Was allerdings in meinen Augen eine echte Frechheit ist, sind 2€ für eine kleine Portion Ajvar zu verlangen. 10-20ct okay, aber keine 2€. Reine Abzocke!

Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, doch die Teller waren eiskalt (deutlich unter Zimmertemperatur). Dadurch kühlte das Essen sehr schnell aus, was unangenehm war. Den Service darauf angesprochen wurde nur entgegnet: »Wir wärmen die Teller nicht vor. Das geht nicht.«

Waren zum erstmal in diesem Lokal. Der Chef sehr freundlich , saßen auf der Terrasse bei Vogel Gezwitscher,. Schön.. Das Essen war gut und zum Schluss gabs noch einen Silvo... Ja kann ein weiteres Mal genießen.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend in diesem Lokal beim Essen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und der Grillteller reichlich - leider sind das die einzigen positiven Erlebnisse unseres Abends. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht. Der kleine Beilagensalat muss dem Koch schon einiges an Konzentration abgefordert haben, den mein Salat bekam nur Essig, der meines Mannes nur Öl als Marinade ab. Unser Fleisch auf dem Grillteller war absolut trocken, das Kotelett sogar so trocken, dass man es weder schneiden noch beißen konnte. Geschmacklich, bis auf eine leichte Salznote, total geschmacksneutral. Ebenso das Gemüse und der Reis. Für einen großen Grillteller für 2 Personen bekamen wir einen kleinen Klecks Ajvar. Für die Nachbestellung von Ajvar und Ketchup durften wir 2€ drauf zahlen - eine Frechheit. Gewürze, die man bei einem Kroaten erwartet, gibt es in diesem Lokal nicht. Hätten wir nicht einen solch großen Hunger gehabt, wäre dieser Grillteller zurück gegangen. Wir wundern uns jedenfalls nicht, dass das Lokal am Samstag Abend fast leer war. Unser erster Besuch wird auch unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein.

Der Mix-Grill war sehr lecker. Bedingungen war freundlich. Relativ schnell unser Essen bekommen. Würde ich weiterempfehlen!
