Inconspicuous from the outside, very cozy inside. Super friendly employees. Food and drinks are absolutely reasonably priced. Went there in a group and everyone was happy.

Always a recommendation for pizza

I had dinner here with my wife last night and I have to honestly say the Frutti di Mare pizza and the tiramisu dessert were first class! very nice staff and I can only recommend it.

Unfortunately, the male waiter left an annoyed impression the second time. The restaurant was always well attended. I would like a little more serenity here. The food is really very good and beautifully presented. Personally, I miss pizzas with pepperoni and pepperoni salami.

Chic little restaurant with first class food. However, the service was clearly overwhelmed and it gave the impression of mass processing. What's more, it was incredibly hot in there (it was a brilliant summer day). Either the air conditioning has failed or there is simply none. This isn't ideal in such a small room with tight seating. Overall, a great culinary experience.

We made reservations for August 3rd, 2024 via the internet and then had to confirm by phone. When we arrived we went into the restaurant but were directed to the terrace. The waiter assigned us a table at the entrance and grumpily added a chair. The food was ordered, in the meantime other guests arrived without registering, they were placed in the shade, also with a table above the heads of other guests. When the food was served the game started, wasps and flies swarmed around our table. The pizzas were a disaster. My Fruti di Mare had the prawns and mussels lying in a puddle of water from thawing. I was surrounded by flies and then pushed the pizza away!! As we were leaving we noticed that the rubbish was piling up under the terrace. Hence the flies and wasps. The restaurant should be closed, which is an imposition. Never again.

The pizza (salmone) was disappointing. The dough was very average. He deserved more rest. That means it didn't grow particularly well. In addition, the cheese seemed to be of poor quality; nothing melted at all. Reminded me more of analogue cheese.

Very nice staff, a very nice terrace and very tasty food. I feel very comfortable here for the few days I was here and the pizza was very impressive and the price was very good. I can also recommend the tortellini and the truffle dishes. For dessert you can eat the precious panna cotta. Gladly again!

Today we were at Alten Fritz at short notice with 11 people. Short registration. Table nicely prepared on the terrace. Service courteous and nice. Drinks and food came quickly. Pizza and risotto were fresh and delicious.

Excellent tasting food, large portions (pasta dishes) and excellent, charming service. The atmosphere is also very cozy, unfortunately the terrace was closed and sitting inside on a sunny day was a bit stuffy.

Were here for the first time today. The atmosphere is very nice, really cozy. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. We asked several times whether everything was to our satisfaction. Very attentive. The food came very quickly and made a very good visual impression. And that's exactly how it tasted. Delicious. I had a pizza. Very crispy thin base and very well topped. A pleasure in terms of taste. My friend had pasta with vegetables and was also very satisfied. We'd love to come back.

It's a beautiful location under an arch. The service is attentive. This is for the better. We ordered pizzas. For our taste, they were poorly documented and the supposed main ingredients were (not) applied very sparingly. The dough was not tasty for us. Almost the worst pizza we have eaten at an ITALIAN. All in all: not recommended, at least for pizzas. A pity.

Cozy restaurant in a vault, decent food, attentive service. Not exactly cheap, but still okay for Tübingen standards.

I can't understand the positive reviews. One of the two waiters was extremely unfriendly, while the other was very funny. My tagliatelle with salmon for €15.50 was overcooked and seasoned far too little. I had to help with chili oil, salt and pepper. I wouldn't go here again. The ambience is nice, but it was extremely warm in the vaulted cellar.

Very polite and attentive staff, the greatest pizza in all of Tübingen, crispy, thin, good crust. Toppings always very fresh and tasty. You should reserve as it is very popular. But staff helps if you come spontaneously. Vaulted cellar is beautifully decorated. We always enjoy eating here...

This was really a failure: We ate here for the first and last time today. The pizza cost €16 and was really small. The service was very unfriendly and ended up eating in the middle of the dining room with strange manners - where was the service at this time? I can't understand the overall average of 4.5 stars, I'm sure I bought good reviews again...

We ate here on a recommendation. It was spontaneously difficult to get a table for three people, but it worked. Parking situation is difficult. But the atmosphere is very cozy. The quality of the food is very good, the staff tries very hard to satisfy the customers.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes for the table. The 5th were seated at a small round table. And I personally didn't like the pizza. The atmosphere is cool in the “cellar”

Very tasty pizzeria. Pizza from the stone oven, very crispy. Mussels were very fresh and tasty 😋 Due to the fact that the pizzeria is in an old vaulted cellar, it was unfortunately very noisy, but we would love to come back.

Very good pizza with a thin, crispy base and plenty of toppings! Visually it has a nice, rustic ambience (cellar atmosphere), but it can be quite loud when it's full as it resonates well with the stone walls. Very popular pizzeria, was recommended to me by locals.

Wir waren zu einer Feier dort und alles war sehr gut. Leider war man ziemlich eng an den Nachbar Tischen dran. Aber das Personal der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker.

Sehr freundliche und schnelle Bedienung. Leckere Pizza! Auch das Essen meiner Kollegen war sehr gut. Ordentliche Portionen und was zu viel war wurde zum mitnehmen eingepackt. Preisen absolut Fair. Gehe ich gerne wieder hin.

Wunderschöner Gewölbekeller mit schöner Auswahl an Weinen und tollem Pizza Ofen. Ich habe dort bislang nur Pizza gegessen. Aber ich kann so viel sagen, wenn diese Pizzeria keine gute Pizza mehr macht wird die Welt untergehen.

Ambiente ist ein Weinkeller, der leider etwas eng erscheint. Allerdings dafür umso kuscheliger wirkt und im Sommer durch eine Terrasse ersetzt werden kann. Sehr nettes Personal. Gutes, im Tübinger Vergleich (Neckarmüller, Wurstküche...) sehr gutes Essen.

wir saßen auf der Terrasse zu sechst. das essen kam richtig schnell& der kellner hat sehr zuvorkommend ein bild von uns gemacht:)) das trinken ist etwas teuer (0,4 Traubensaftschorle= 5€)

We were spontaneously there as a colleague said it was one of the best italian Restaurant in Tübingen. You could eat inside or on the terrace (separate entrance). We went to the terrace since the weather was nice. The service was remarkable. That one waiter was so funny and friendly, he made our dining experience better. Price was very okay and the food... I only heard good comments from my colleagues! I had tagliatelle with salmon and it was so creamy and nice. Would love to go here again the next time I'm in Tübingen :)

Very disappointing. I ordered a margherita. First of all, there was no sign of basil anywhere, just a slab of tomato and cheese. Secondly, the cheese wasn't even properly spread, leaving a gap of pure tomato topping around the edge. As someone who's had authentic Italian margherita and knows what a wood oven can really do, I was very disappointed with this place.

Das Essen war geschmacklich wenig herausragend, kaum gewürzt und die Portion viel zu klein. Pizzaboden und -rand für unseren Geschmack zu trocken und wenig gewürzt. Die Bedienungen schienen sehr im Stress zu sein und waren etwas unentspannt bei Fragen und sehr gehetzt, was der Atmosphäre etwas abträglich war.

Pizzen überdurchschnittlich gut aber nicht billig . Terrasse schön, Dach hält Regen und Hagel aus. Restaurantkeller eng und stickig. Kellner gestresst aber dennoch lustig.

Die Pizzen waren leider nur mittelmäßig, der Teig fad und überbacken, kein Gewürz. Die Pizza Vegetale meiner Freundin für 14,50€ fragwürdig, Tiefkühlgemüse? Ambiente innen auf den ersten Blick nett, im Außenbereich eher in die Jahre gekommen und relativ laut bei Verkehr. Service schnell, aber das war's auch schon. Nächstes Mal kochen wir lieber selber.

Normales italienisches Essen, die Location war sehr ansprechend, das Essen eher Durchschnitt, der Salat wenig inspiriert.

Sehr gute Pizza! Die Salate sind nicht zu empfehlen. Service oft etwas ruppig, dafür mit Leidenschaft dabei. Drinnen ist es nett, kann aber sehr laut werden, wenn es voll ist.

Das Essen war super lecker. Die selbst gemachten Ravioli waren super abgeschmeckt und ein nur ein Traum. Die Pizzas schmecken wie in Italien.Der Service war perfekt und sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen schönen Platz auf der Dachterrasse bekommen. Danke für das Kulinarische Erlebnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente. Die Dachterrasse ist ebenfalls schön gemacht und bietet im Sommer ein schattiges Plätzchen für ein gutes Essen. Die Pizza und Pasta sind lecker, die Bedienung ist freundlich und die Preise für das Essen und die Getränke gehen auch in Ordnung.

Da draußen kein Platz mehr war, saßen wir drinnen. Es ist ein schönes Ambiente, aber an sehr warmen Tagen kühlt es nicht runter und ist somit auch innen sehr warm. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service könnte etwas mehr Freundlichkeit vertragen. Wir mussten sehr lange warten bis unsere Bestellungen aufgenommen wurden. Wir saßen dann auch irgendwann vor den leeren Gläsern und wurden nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas bestellen wollen.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, lekker gegeten, prijs- kwaliteit dik in orde! Pizza’s en pasta’s zijn zeer vers. Kortom heerlijk!

Nice sitting on the terrace. The food was middle of the road Italian, wine was not expensive. Good company, nice evening.

Leider waren wir nicht zufrieden, obwohl wir auch kein besonders hohen Anspruch gestellt haben. Wir möchten daher folgende Rezessionen veröffentlichen, falls andere Touristen auf der Suche nach authentischen italienischen Speisen sind: Essen war ok, reichte aus um satt zu werden - mehr war aber auch nicht drin. Hätten wir Zeit gehabt noch woanders einzukehren, wäre das Essen stehengeblieben. Das Risotto sehr fad und die Tortellini geschmacklich absolut kein Knaller. Die Tomatensuppe überzeugte nicht. Sehr schade. Insgesamt eher unauthentisch für einen Italiener und preislich definitiv zu teuer, für das was es letztlich war. Über die Pizza können wir leider nichts sagen, vielleicht hat die es ja raus(?). Im Gewölbekeller sieht es schick aus, die Terrasse weniger besondere Athmosphäre.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend in Tübingen. Das Essen war wunderbar. Die Pizzen waren gut. Unsere Tortellini mit Steinpilzfüllung waren ein Traum. Der war Service - gut beschäftigt und trotzdem - sehr angenehm. Wer gutes Essen mag (kein schischi), ist da genau richtig. Wir waren sehr angetan.

We ate lunch here on Saturday June 10th. What a wonderful restaurant! The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic! We ate on the patio. We did peak in the restaurant and it looked great also. We ordered two Bufala pizzas. They were just as good as you would get in Naples, Italy, if not a bit better. The crispy, light crust was baked with tomato sauce and then after, fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella that was much like the cener of Burrata cheese were added. So good!

This italian restaurant with a german name is nicely decorated inside. I visited it for a simple pizza Margherita with additional mild peppers and a soft drink only. The pizza was good in taste and I would return. And the staff was friendly.
