Zum Alten Brauhaus - ZAB Eventhof in Euskirchen

Wir waren heute als Pärchen im Innenhof . Die Speisen waren hervorragend geschmeckt. Alles frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und sehr höflich. Es wurde nach dem Servieren gefragt, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit wäre. Das wird nicht immer in anderen Restaurants gemacht. Das Team ist eingespielt und haben immer die Tische gut im Blick, reagieren sofort und sind sehr gute Gastgeber. Die Location dort im Freien und auch im Gastraum war sehr ansprechend. Wir durften uns alle Räumlichkeiten ansehen und waren positiv überrascht. Es harmoniert einfach alles. Service, Essen, Preis Leistungverhältnis, und die wunderschöne Kulisse. Ein Geheimtipp, der Superlativen. 5 Sterne sind eindeutig zu wenig. Ich würde 10 von 10 geben. Einfach TOP!👍 Leider hatte ich mein Handy im Auto gelassen, wir waren mit dem Zweitwagen unterwegs, sonst hätte ich Fotos machen können.

Service ist eine Katastrophe...zuerst wurden die Getränke vergessen und der Tisch nicht abgewischt und das Essen dauerte 1.30 Std.

Zum Essen waren wir heute dort. Es wurde draussen gegrillt. Es war fantastisch. Ich hatte ein Sandwich mit sehr zartem Steak, Chedda und tollen Röstizwiebeln, ein Gedicht. Der Service ist der Hämmer. Sehr gerne wieder.

Das war das schlechteste Essen leider was wir in einem Restaurant gegessen haben. Der Küchenchef war in Urlaub , dadurch gab es eine Grillkarte . Das Fleisch war fast kalt und überhaupt nicht gewürzt , die Fritten waren so hart dass man sie nicht auf die Gabel bekam :-( . Insgesamt hat alles alt und muffig geschmeckt. Das Schweinerückensteak war so groß wie eine Scheibe Baguettebrot und mit einem modrigen Kraut gefüllt was nicht auf der Karte stand . Die Sauce war eine kalte Fertigsauce. Wir können dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen. Das junge Personal war aber sehr bemüht und freundlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen und absolut freundliches Personal. Erfrischend, dass hier junge Leute beweisen, dass die heutige "Jugend" sehr wohl in der Lage ist einen tollen Job zu machen.

„Es hat sich ausgeflaggt.“ Eine Insolvenz ist immer schrecklich für die Beteiligten. Nachdem ich mich darüber gefreut habe, dass endlich nicht mehr wie auf einen Reichsparteitag Flaggen gehisst werden und ich aufgrund dessen gegoogelt habe, ob vielleicht die Besitzer gewechselt haben, habe ich gelesen, dass das Brauhaus in die Insolvenz gegangen ist. Das tut mir natürlich für die Beteiligten leid, egal welchen Dissenz wir in der Vergangenheit haben. Ich hoffe, dass die Nachfolger ein besseres Händchen haben, denn ich würde mich freuen, wenn ich ein gutes Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft hätte, welches weniger deutschnational gesinnt ist.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Super freundliches Personal. Schönes Ambiente (sowohl im Innen- als auch Außenbereich). Nicht zu laut, so dass man sich problemlos unterhalten kann. Preis-Leistung top! Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir saßen draußen sehr urig gemütlich und entspannt, Personal war sehr freundlich. Essen war sehr gut außer die Kroketten war alles selbst gemacht und mussten auch nicht lange warten. Personal war immer aufmerksam. Man muss dazu sagen es war auch nicht viel los heute.

Waren zu dritt auf dem Weg von Münstereifel nach Hause. Spontan angehalten. Haben es nicht bereut. Speisen wirklich lecker und günstig. Sehr nette Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Obwohl optisch ansprechend, ist das Alte Brauhaus in Kreuzweingarten keine Empfehlung wert : Das Lokal befindet sich an einer stark befahrenen Hauptstraße ,was die Atmosphäre deutlich stört.Das Essen ist (wenn überhaupt) nur mittelmäßig und das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss steht in keinem Zusammenhang.Schade

Wir waren am Ostersonntag mit der Familie hier essen. Einfach zusammengefasst - sehr gut. In schönem Ambiente haben wir vorzüglich gegessen. Wir hatten zwei Steaks (ein Hüftsteak und ein Rumpsteak), Fleischkäse und Schweinefilet. Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen. Die Steaks waren auf den Punkt gebraten, alle Essen sehr ansehnlich angerichtet, der Service war aufmerksam und auch der Nachtisch war super lecker. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, leider ist das von uns aus etwas zu weit weg. Aber wenn wir in der Gegend sind - immer gerne wieder.

Schnitzel schmeckte unangenehm. Pilzrahmsauce sehr muffig. Karroffelecken waren okay. Location sehr schön. Aber leider hat es 2 von 3 Personen nicht geschmeckt.

Wir waren gestern im alten Brauhaus Essen. Aufgrund meiner Zöliakie war ich zunächst etwas unsicher, was glutenfreie Speisen und Kontaminationen angeht. Aber nach einem persönlichen Gespräch mit der freundlichen Bedienung und dem Koch, sowie einen Blick in die Küche, waren jegliche Bedenken weg und wir konnten unser Essen genießen. Bezug nehmend auf einige vorherige Bewertungen, insbesondere der Heizproblematik, kann ich sagen, dass es gestern bei etwa 4°C Außentemperatur, für unser Empfinden angenehm warm im Restaurant war. Dies war im übrigen sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Ich habe heute Nachmittag meinen Geburtstag mit 12 Personen im Restaurant gefeiert. Alle meine Gäste waren sowohl von den Speisen als auch vom aufmerksamen Service begeistert. Wir werden dort auch zukünftig desöfteren speisen!

Ich hatte Anfang Dezember den Tisch reserviert und nach der Speisekarte angefragt( auf Grund einer Lebensmittelallergie, wollte ich wissen welche Speisen für mich in Frage kommen und für die Teenager wollten wir auch wissen ob passende Speisen dabei sind) keine Reaktion. Auch bei erneuter Nachfrage habe ich keine Auskunft erhalten. Wir sind dann von der normalen brauhaus Karte ausgegangen..Pustekuchen… es gab eine Karte mit u.a. 4 Hauptspeisen… es gab Fisch, kalbsgulasch, Entenbrust und süsskartoffeltaler… das Essen war geschmacklich gut, Service war auch sehr gut … hätte ich bereits im Vorfeld, wie angefragt, die Speisekarte erhalten, hätten wir uns für ein anderes Restaurant entschieden, da die angebotenen Speise nicht unbedingt unserem Geschmack entsprechen.

We went to the brewery for our Christmas party with a group of 10 and were disappointed. There was no trace of a Christmas atmosphere. The dining room was uncomfortably cold. When we pointed this out, they seriously told us they had to remove all the paneling to access the thermostats – an excuse that was more ridiculous than believable. The food was also a disappointment. For a chef who supposedly had worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants, the result was poor. The food for 10 people was served at such a staggered pace that some had already finished eating while others were still waiting for their dishes. The pork chop was pale and carelessly prepared, and the dumplings – if you could even call them that – were inedible. When we asked for some bread, we felt like we were asking for the impossible. Overall, it was a very unpleasant evening. The staff tried to be friendly, but seemed disorganized and unprofessional. We would therefore not recommend this restaurant. Even pointing out these problems didn't seem to bother anyone.

Yesterday, the four of us visited the Alte Brauhaus for the first time. We had noticed its attractive exterior when driving past it before. The dining room, which appeared to be quite new and tastefully decorated, was very comfortable, and we received friendly and prompt service. For starters, we shared a malt bread from a baker and bread sommelier, which was served with two different dips and had a very good and unusual flavor; we even bought a whole loaf to take home. For our main courses, we had the very tender pork medallions with a flavorful sauce and delicious mashed potatoes, the juicy, thick grilled pork chop with tasty fried potatoes, the equally tender sauerbraten with an aromatic sauce, bread dumplings, and red cabbage, and the wonderfully thinly sliced ​​breaded schnitzel with crispy potato dippers. Each of these dishes was exceptionally good and offered excellent value for money. The Eifel draft beer and a nice wine were also very tasty. The desserts, speculoos tiramisu and espresso affogato, provided a delicious finale. Overall, a highly recommended experience! We will gladly return, especially after the beer garden in the courtyard reopens.

We ate at this inn for the first time yesterday and were absolutely delighted! The inn looks very inviting from the outside, modern yet cozy. All our meals were delicious, classic dishes with a subtle, but not overly modern, twist – and all at a very reasonable price! The service was very friendly. The dining room appears to have been beautifully renovated not too long ago, as did the restrooms and seemingly the kitchen as well. We will definitely be back, at the latest to try out the equally inviting outdoor seating area in the summer!

We were a group of ten people at the restaurant – and unfortunately, the entire experience was very disappointing. While the food tasted okay, it was consistently cold. In several dishes, the meat was burnt to a crisp, but hidden under the sauce. Furthermore, many items on the menu were unavailable, giving the impression of a poorly prepared establishment. The service was also far from satisfactory: the staff seemed annoyed, unfriendly, and unprofessional. When we asked for plain bread, we were only brought a few extra slices – and charged an additional €3 for them, which seemed completely unreasonable. The restaurant itself was also cold, as the heating was off. We were initially told that the room had just been aired out, even though the radiators were clearly simply not switched on. We ended up having to turn them on ourselves. Since there were no other guests, it's not as if they were overwhelmed. Overall, the visit was disappointing in terms of food, service, and overall experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very nice restaurant But you wouldn't know that the chef has worked at several Michelin-starred restaurants. The food was good; we had the pork chop with fried potatoes, which were only in the pan for two minutes. The dish was very delicately presented.

Nice ambiance, but that was it, unfortunately. A 1.5-hour wait for the food, and after an hour, we were informed that a dish we ordered was sold out. Also, some of the food was cold, and the pot roast only served a small slice (only upon asking did they explain that it was the last slice). All in all, very disappointing.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The rooms were beautifully designed and rustically and comfortably furnished. The food and wine were excellent.

The rooms we booked were located on a busy street, so it was very noisy and, unfortunately, dirty, with an unpleasant smell! Breakfast was a disaster like no other, with hard, undercooked rolls—two per person!—and two slices of cheap salami, a slice of cheese, and two jams in plastic wrappers. The only-so-friendly waitress told us there were no eggs for breakfast.

After a walk along the Steinbachtalsperre (Stonebach Dam), we happened upon the Gasthaus zum alten Brauhaus (Old Brewery Inn) by chance – and were pleasantly surprised. The food was incredibly delicious, the portions were just right, and the value for money was excellent. My salad was fresh, lovingly prepared, and incredibly flavorful. Plus, there's a beautiful beer garden and incredibly friendly, attentive staff. You immediately feel at home here – we'll definitely be back!

We stayed two nights at the old brewery and were very pleasantly surprised by the great ambiance of the hotel and the restaurant! The rooms are tastefully furnished, modern, yet quaint and cozy. We lacked nothing. The breakfast was also very good. We'd love to come back!👍🏻

I was there a few hours ago, and the dry schnitzel is still sticking in my throat. Fries or something similar were also dry. I can't say anything about the salad because there wasn't even a single leaf on the plate. Brrrr, just thinking about it makes me sick. Not recommended!!

Dear boss, please go to all the tables and tell the guests that there are no staff. Some were offered a discount, but not all! This brewery can be more successful! We spontaneously stopped by the beer garden. Very friendly service, cold drinks, and delicious malted bread with dips and meatballs. Beautifully restored facility with a fantastic atmosphere.

We ate there today and were very impressed by the cuisine. We had the pork chop and the Rhenish sauerbraten. Both were very tasty, with great spices and excellent quality products. We'd love to come back!

We booked an overnight stay and ate dinner in the courtyard. The pork chop is highly recommended. The gratinated goat cheese is also delicious. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed and rustic.

Unfortunately, there are no children's dishes on the menu; the homemade mayo tasted sour. The schnitzel was very good. I would have liked a small side salad. @Feedback: We did that, too; they didn't offer a children's menu (children ages 8 and 10).

Wir besuchten das Restaurant in der Woche zum Abendbrot und es waren noch ein paar Plätze frei. Das Innere ist frisch renoviert und dennoch urig. Die Inhaber bedienten uns sehr freundlich, waren jedoch spezielle Typen. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, aber es findet sich für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das rustikale, aber neu interpretierte Essen war sehr lecker.

A very nice beer garden in the courtyard. The prices for the food are a bit high, but the warm potato salad consisted of 99% sliced ​​potatoes, and my wife's salad was a bit meager for the price. We're lucky to have gotten any food at all during a spontaneous visit. We were told we would have had to call in advance. We'll try again. The wonderful historic ambiance is marred inside by modern chairs and pictures of questionable taste. A little more courage to embrace tradition and try the food for ourselves, and this will surely become a top-notch restaurant.

My husband and I stayed here to visit the thermal spa and were certainly not there for the last time. Even if everything isn't fully working (e.g. the TV in the room), everything was lovingly furnished, everyone on site was incredibly warm and accommodating and the food was a real pleasure (one of the best breads I've ever eaten)! The walk to the thermal baths takes less than 10 minutes, there is a free parking space next to the inn... Highly recommended! Thank you for everything! :-)

I would give more than 5 stars!!! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the portions were filling. We girls ate there for the first time yesterday and were completely in love. How could it be otherwise on Valentine's Day? The restaurant was packed. Luckily, we had a table reservation. The waiters were super friendly and really prompt. Even the two owners pitched in and were perfect hosts. We each had an appetizer and a main course. We actually wanted to try some of the delicious desserts, but our stomachs were already so full that we just couldn't manage it. The schnitzels were the best I've ever eaten. We also received a love letter to the chef... it was Valentine's Day, after all! The restaurant itself features beautiful paintings by Claudia Beck – an artist from Bad Münstereifel – which you can purchase on site. We will definitely be back. For us, it was a perfect evening, which became almost magical afterward. If you're looking for a wedding venue, this is the perfect place. Not only is the large chandelier in the hall impressive, but an acoustic ceiling creates the perfect atmosphere. The bride can also arrive in sweatpants and all her belongings and then get ready on site. So much love went into the entire design that it would be a waste not to get married there. We wish you continued success!!! Keep up the good work! We're absolutely thrilled with you!

Yesterday the four of us were guests at the “Alten Brauhaus” and everything was absolutely perfect! Attentive, friendly service, very good food and an atmospheric location. Everything was spot on - we were all more than satisfied and can only recommend the restaurant to everyone.

We spontaneously went out for dinner on Sunday and can only be surprised at the negative reviews. We waited a little longer for the food, but it was very tasty, freshly prepared and plentiful. The tomato soup was a hit and the sauerbraten and veal liver were also delicious. I might have liked some bread with the soup. Otherwise everything is good. It's not that easy to get service staff these days. Because of this, a new restaurant in Zülpich has closed again. So if you know it will take a while, you could perhaps come a little earlier. We are thrilled and would love to come back.

A table next to us was the same, people left at some point when no one came. For the high prices there, you can expect a little more service, and many guests would then drink more. Food was good.

Today we had dinner in the brewery with 12 people. Service and the quality of the food were excellent. All the dishes arrived almost at the same time. Absolutely recommended. We and our guests will definitely come back very quickly.

Last night we went to the Oktoberfest/company party with our team. From telephone contact to discussing the food, rooms, etc. everything was perfect. Freddy the chef and his team conjured up a great buffet, the service girls were in a good mood and very friendly. We were allowed to make music and had a lot of fun. Excellent cuisine. The steak was on point. And one of the best pieces in a long time. Maybe everything costs €1 more. But it's worth every cent.

Es wäre um vieles besser den Mittagstisch gerne anzubieten, aber bitte doch auch eine Speisekarte. Es war unangenehm zu hören nein nur die zwei Gerichte das an einem Sonntag Mittag finde ich nicht gut.

We had a spontaneous meal in the beer garden today with our 3 kids. The selection on the menu wasn't exactly extensive and there weren't any options for the kids. We then ate extremely overpriced schnitzel with fries. The plate didn't look particularly inviting. Two small, very thin dry schnitzels with a handful of dry brewery fries... fries with a lot of peel on the potato. I was looking forward to a juicy schnitzel with hearty fried potatoes. For the price I would have been better off eating a steak somewhere else. The 2 x ketchup and 2 x mayonnaise in mini format, which were absolutely necessary due to the dryness, were of course also charged at a sum of EUR 3.60... Great! At the end we had to find out that there was a different menu in the restaurant. Unfortunately too late. Summary: way too expensive and not great in terms of taste. There is definitely no reunion for us. Too bad :-(

It's nice that there's so much life in the brewery again. The whole thing was renovated lovingly and with the right eye. Been there many times as a child, then not for many years... because no one wanted/could take on this huge task of starting over... Now we like being there, it's nice to sit outside and for us it's just really pleasant because we can bring the dogs with us. All in all, a great concept that can hopefully be implemented for many years to come! We'd love to come back! We were always warmly welcomed and served quickly. For example, a cool shandy with schnitzel and the Brauhaus dippers was our highlight yesterday!

The condition is very trying. However, when the beer garden is open, these reach their performance limits and there are significant delays. This can sometimes lead to very long and annoying waiting times. The food itself is impeccable.

It's a shame, this restaurant could really do something with it. We sat at the table for 40 minutes and asked for the menu 3 times, unfortunately to no avail. Then we paid and went somewhere else. The service staff is a disaster, friendliness isn't always enough...

It was our first time visiting the brewery, but to be honest, we were somewhat biased by the negative reviews. Guys, this is such awesome food!!! Such a delicious cutlet and a schnitzel to melt away!!! All fresh ingredients, a professional was at work. We were so excited, we'll be back. The service was super friendly, attentive and very kind. You will soon have new regular customers :-) Keep it up!!!

We were there yesterday with a bicycle group of 10 people. Although only two tables outside were occupied, it took almost 20 minutes for the waiter to take a drink order. When asked how long the meal would take, he replied, about 45 minutes. We then drank a beer and then drove off again. We won't be going there again.

Nice beer garden, generally nice service but……. We were there with 14 people in the beer garden and nothing worked from 6:20 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. 4 of us didn't get anything to eat until the end, only two Leites got the food they ordered. The others got something cold, half raw or something wrong. Malt bread was three really tiny slices of baguette. You had forgotten the dip... it came after an hour and the bread was already gone because you were hungry. We didn't get anything new either...Or at least the question. All around…terrible. The boss wasn't there and didn't know anything about this. The next day it was probably exactly the same... my colleagues were there, the same game. The boss wasn't there either. It's a shame, maybe it will get better...

We were in the beer garden on July 30, 24 around 6:00 p.m. Okay, you can still accept that there isn't the entire menu to choose from, but it's not logical. But what came to the table after more than 45 minutes (there wasn't much going on) was subpar and completely overpriced. A salad bowl (the salad was shrunken, sandy with dressing from the bottle) and 5 prawns for 19 euros, another with chicken strips for 17 euros. The steak from the grill was just dry and tough, but a few fries cost 5 euros. Conclusion: no thanks, never again.

Superbly decorated restaurant. Modern but very comfortable. Due to the weather, the beer garden was not open, but guests were even allowed to sit there upon request. There was a warm welcome. The food (sauerbraten and cutlet) was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The coleslaw was actually the tastiest in my life. The service was very attentive and friendly. If we didn't live so far away, this would be our new local bar. We'll be back soon anyway.

A great restaurant with very kind and polite hosts and service team! There were three of us and we hadn't made a reservation! (It's always best to make a reservation as it was pretty full!) We received a very warm welcome and were able to order quickly. Sauerbraten and cutlet were perfectly prepared and very tasty! Price/performance top! The chocolate mousse was also delicious! Many thanks again to the entire team for this lovely evening in the brewery! ❤️

A beautiful brewery, beautifully renovated and renovated with a lot of hard work and ambition. We celebrated my mother's 85th BIRTHDAY there on July 27th, 2024. I and the guests were very satisfied with the food, the drinks, the service and the location. I give it 12 out of 10 possible points. Keep it up......

I ate there for the first time with my wife today and definitely won't be the last time. Hats off to what you have done with the location. A big compliment to the kitchen and the service. I don't know when was the last time I ate meat that was so good. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back and not alone. Will recommend you. You are a great team.

Discovered by chance after a hike. We sat on the terrace and ate freshly grilled food. Super nice service. Top renovated, beautiful ambience.

Good food, good service and live music. That was the perfect summer evening yesterday!

At the beginning of July my wife and I spontaneously went to the brewery. The beer garden was not very comfortable. Reminded me of a beer garden geared towards mass tourism. We ordered a grilled pork chop with fries. We were there twice. For the first and last time. Among other things because overpriced. For a grilled cutlet 20.50 euros and a handful of fried potatoes (French fries were out) for 3.50 euros is already steep. For these prices you get a steak with a side dish and salad. Overall including drinks totally overpriced. When I paid after the meal and asked for a receipt, they wanted to send me the receipt via email because it was not yet possible to print out receipts.

Very nice atmosphere, very nice service, delicious food. Everything perfect.
