The food is always delicious. The pizza, in particular, is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the open-plan design makes it a bit noisy, but we'll be back.

I'm disappointed. I was definitely hoping for more. The pizza was large... very large. The plate was too small for it, much too small. Taste, between the cold area and the black... okay. The table and chairs were unsuitable (the chairs were uncomfortable), and the table apparently made it its business to spill drinks on them while cutting. We won't even mention the at least 15 minutes we waited for our order, because the next table (they weren't even all seated yet) had already had their drink orders taken. In short, Never again

It's truly astonishing how an establishment like this can survive. The service is as abysmal as anywhere else. Perhaps management should seriously consider encouraging their employees to be less complacent and more customer-friendly. This place is truly the worst. How can it be that you order food for pickup at a certain time, enter the store at that time, are completely ignored, and then your order obviously hasn't even been processed? Given the prices, you'd expect more, but this was definitely my last time at L'Osteria Euskirchen. Addendum: We received a pizza with the wrong toppings. It's awful.

Everything was excellent: the food and the service. It was extremely cold where we were sitting. This was because all the skylights and the doors leading outside were open every five seconds. It was as drafty as a pigpen. My feet were freezing. We were there with 10 people.

I like going to L'Osteria and have already experienced several other restaurants in this chain in various cities, which is why the visit to Euskirchen was particularly disappointing considering the usual standards. It started with us having to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks, and only after asking did someone come back to the table to take our food order. Our request for drinks was answered without emotion with "They're being prepared right now." The restaurant was relatively empty around 12:30 p.m., which is why something like this is particularly noticeable. The cutlery wasn't brought until the meal and, in my haste, was half-dropped onto my napkin. It's just these unenthusiastic little things that reveal poor service. The food arrived after a reasonable wait and tasted good, only the Pesto Genovese looked a bit sloppy, and the paper coaster was forgotten for the pizza plate. The Crema di Fragola apparently didn't contain any gelatin and was therefore very runny. In total, during the three-hour wait, only twice did someone come to the table to ask about any further requests. The service staff seemed listless and bored. When I asked a younger waitress to pay, she didn't even look at me and simply nodded as she walked by. She didn't return until a few minutes later. Due to the poor service experience, I only rounded up the €98.20 to €100, which was still polite overall, as this service didn't deserve a cent. Unsurprisingly, there was no thank you, no inquiry about satisfaction, and no wish for a happy day. I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time myself and understand that you can have days when you're not so motivated. But since my sister and mother have experienced this twice here, it seems to be more of a default attitude than an exception. However, especially when the restaurant isn't particularly busy, such small things are extremely noticeable and are simply bad for sales. Next time, we'd rather eat at another L'Osteria where the service is more attentive.

Yesterday (September 20, 2025) was my third and final visit to this restaurant. The first time, a slice of pizza stuck to the fork I was served, and the second time, the Parmesan cheese was moist, lumpy, and smelled strange. The employee told me this was a characteristic of their Parmesan, and therefore I couldn't get any other. The spaghetti tasted mediocre at best even without the Parmesan. Yesterday afternoon, at the request of a friend, I went back. On a separate menu, the theme was "pumpkin." The pumpkin soup was brought, and the friendly waitress asked if we wanted bread with it, to which we replied affirmatively. She then threw cutlery onto the table as if she were playing a cutlery game. The bread never arrived, and no server appeared. Almost at the end of the soup, a male server came over and asked again if we wanted bread with the soup. It was funny, too. I received a flavorless and firm risotto. The top layer of pumpkin seeds and Ricola cheese together was fine. I had to get the balsamic vinegar (in an attempt to add flavor) from the service table myself – see above for the reason. When a server came to check out a table, for example, they did so with bowed heads, and after the payment was made, they left the outside area with bowed heads. Even a hearty "Hello" was ignored. When it came time to pay, the server pocketed the money and gave me a questioning laugh. Unfortunately, I had to tell him that neither the quality of the food nor the service warranted a tip, after which I received my change. When he (at least) asked why, he replied: If the water is too warm, he's happy to bring ice (?), and if a meal isn't to your liking, you can gladly return it and get a new dish. I then pointed out the lack of bread and the balsamic vinegar I'd brought myself, and I would have liked a second drink, but couldn't order one either. Conclusion: This is by no means an (Italian) restaurant, but more like a McPasta and McPizza. Mediocre food quality at mediocre prices. The interior is as open (and loud) as a cafeteria/canteen. Perfect!

Unfortunately, the atmosphere here doesn't appeal to us. So my husband ordered food and picked it up. The pizza was supplemented with additional ingredients (more than €1 extra per ingredient). The result: for pizza with extra peppers, you'll find 4(!) small pieces of peppers. That's bordering on a homeopathic dose and I find it downright rude. Unfortunately, even the good dough can't do anything to fix it. The waitress only gave my husband a portion at first, but when he asked, he was given the full order. Unfortunately, that wasn't good.

The two of us went there one weekday afternoon. It wasn't busy, and we were actually looking forward to the food. It was our first time at L'Osteria in Euskirchen. It will also be our last. We had pizza and risotto. After a few forks of food in the risotto, we discovered a mealworm. Absolutely disgusting. We called the waiter, who apologized and tried to make excuses. I even saw the bag of risotto being thrown away. We didn't pay for the food.

I really liked the restaurant – a really nice atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The pizza was delicious and freshly prepared. I actually ordered a prosciutto pizza. I'm no expert, but to me it looked more like regular cooked ham than prosciutto (see picture). That was a bit of a shame, but overall the visit was very pleasant.

The food is, as in every L'Osteria, delicious and plentiful. The pizza, in particular, is always highly recommended. Unfortunately, on the day we were there, the service was a bit inattentive, so we had to wait quite a long time, even though it wasn't particularly busy. We were there at lunchtime and would have liked to sit outside, but when we arrived, only one of the three umbrellas outside was open, so most of the seats were in the blazing sun. By the time we left, all the umbrellas were open. We probably could have asked for them to open them ourselves, but we just sat inside. All in all, it was a satisfactory visit with room for improvement. I expect it will be better on other days; perhaps it was a shift change or something similar. It was a bit of a shame, though.

This visit was unfortunately a complete disaster! The restaurant wasn't very busy, but the waiters kept pointing out that it was so busy. We were only able to order drinks after 20 minutes. We couldn't order three of our five requested dishes because they were unfortunately no longer available (at 7:30 p.m. on a Sunday). It's a shame that you can't get bruschetta, lasagna, and a common type of pizza at an Italian restaurant. We also waited 45 minutes for the food. After that, one dish was served, while the other three people had to wait another 10 minutes. When the first person finally got their food, they still couldn't start eating because, despite asking, we didn't have any cutlery. The staff seemed lost and as if they didn't know what to do. We were told that one of the colleagues was new, but then they should train her so she knows which guest has ordered which dish and where each table is located. I found it unprofessional to repeatedly ask at different tables whether we had ordered this dish. The waiters seemed overwhelmed. There were plenty of free tables, but the service was still poor. You had to ask for everything, which still meant a long wait. We even had to organize the box for the leftovers ourselves, as it wasn't brought to the table promptly despite our requests. There were apologies that the colleague wasn't responsible for our table and therefore couldn't serve us. However, the colleagues in charge only served us after several requests. We wished they had paid more attention to customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience.

The pizzas are okay. The size is more apparent than real, as they are extremely (!) thin. Pasta is rather mediocre, but reasonably priced. The ambiance is okay. But some of the service in Euskirchen is just terrible. If I politely ask for the bill and the short waitress rolls her eyes in annoyance (yes, honey, I saw that and I know it was meant for me!!!), I'm out of luck. We were there at lunch and it wasn't that busy. Nevertheless, this waitress deliberately and rather cheekily ignored us countless times. A "I'll be right there" would have been okay, too, as I wasn't under any pressure. Will I go again: Yes, but I'll choose the waitress in Euskirchen.

Despite making a reservation stating it was a birthday, we weren't congratulated, nor was the requested bottle of water placed on the table. We had to wait over an hour for the food, which was unfortunately cold and not very tasty. We had small children with us, and a small detail: all the crayons were broken or completely blunt. It's been better here before. And somehow it's mostly down to the little things. There were two of us and we had a salsiccia pizza, a Caesar salad, and spaghetti ice cream. The pizza was okay. If it had been hot, we would have been happy. The salad had apparently been sitting for too long, and the heavy dressing overpowered it. The croutons didn't seem fresh, and the chicken on the salad was bone dry. The surprise of the day was the ice cream. I've never seen such a small spaghetti ice cream. For size comparison, there's a glass next to the ice cream. To be fair, the ice cream only cost a relatively modest €5.75. The cappuccino and espresso macchiato also seemed to have been sitting at the bar a little too long, so they didn't arrive at the table hot. Since we had nothing to complain about on previous visits, we're hoping these were just one-off glitches.

The service was listless when serving, cold and dismissive, simply unbelievable. Glass dirty, fingerprints, Pizza lukewarm, unsalted dough, and it was sticky. We waited for Parmesan but never got it. Pasta was unsalted, just a fork, no spoon. The waitress was annoyed when we asked if we could have Parmesan. She said the kitchen hadn't had time to prepare it yet, which is unacceptable. When we paid, the waitress didn't even ask if everything was okay or apologize for not bringing the Parmesan. Never again, pizza left lying around. Addendum: The waitress walked past us and literally said to my husband, "Why are you looking so annoyed?" My husband was very friendly to her, "I'm waiting for my wife to get her food, yes, she'll get it right away." My husband asked her, still very friendly, "Please remember the Parmesan." "Yes, yes," she said, and left. I was truly shocked.

This L Osteria branch is definitely not like the others. The service is lackluster and not particularly attentive! The salad is drenched in dressing and there's absolutely no meat in it. Other branches are much better!! The tomatoes in the bruschetta were really mushy. But most importantly, they didn't even wipe the table until I asked, and you can't expect the usual salt, pepper, and oil to be placed on the table. NEVER AGAIN to L Osteria in Euskirchen

There were 10 adults and 2 children here with a reservation one evening. We've been eating here regularly since it opened. Unfortunately, I have to say that the food and service have increasingly left a lot to be desired. It starts with inattentive, rushed waiters: There wasn't enough table setting for one person, including a chair, no Parmesan cheese with the spaghetti, no salt and pepper. We ended up getting that ourselves. Food: The pizzas definitely used to have better toppings (they're getting sparse). One meal was completely forgotten (unfortunately, including the children's pizza), the wrong topping on one pizza, and the pasta was only lukewarm (again, children's pasta), all after a 40-minute wait. The house lemonade with lemon unfortunately only tasted like water and looked like it too. It's such a shame that this L'Osteria couldn't maintain the really good standards it had in the beginning. Yes, it was very busy, but so are other L'Osterias. After all, they manage to keep the food and service high. What's going on in Euskirchen? That's a real shame. We'll have to drive a bit further if we want to eat at a L'Osteria again. It's truly unfortunate.

The arugula pizza was good, the salad was okay, and the draft beer was nice and cold and fresh. Food full marks! The service was a disaster from start to finish. A young man greeted us, we chose the table by the window, the restaurant was barely full...and then there was nothing for 10 minutes. When I waved, he came over and asked if we had ordered yet? The table was rustically set, but there was no smile... After we finished eating and another wave, he came to the table and I said we wanted to pay with our debit card. After waiting for at least a quarter of an hour, we went up to his colleague, who was friendly, and we were able to pay after a few moments....

The food, as with all L Osteria establishments, is very good, but also very filling. Depending on your taste, you might want to go for half a pizza (although you can pack the rest). So, the food and drinks are absolutely top-notch. A small note for the Euskirchen establishment: The waitresses should let their eyes wander a bit more.

Yesterday I visited the Losteria in Euskirchen for the first time. The service was friendly and courteous (even with the workload). I decided to eat a pizza for about 18 euros! No problem, I justify it with today's prices (inflation). Unfortunately, I got a pizza that didn't meet my expectations. It was just not cooked all the way through! Since we reserved our table for 5:30 p.m., I suspect the oven hadn't reached the right temperature yet. I think it's a shame to be presented with such a pizza for this price!

We were there for an Italian brunch on Sunday. There were four of us: two adults and two children (3 and 5). The atmosphere was very nice, we received a very friendly welcome, and we were able to choose our table. The food was delicious, with a wide selection, from rolls to pizza, pasta salad, and waffles. The filter coffee was free at brunch, but we had to pay for other drinks. There's a little house for the kids to play in, and since it's within sight, you could relax and eat while the kids play. All the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and helpful, but I have to say that our waiter was very accommodating. When the pannagotta ran out, he immediately let us know when it was being refilled. The price for breakfast alone is unbeatable. We didn't have to pay for the children because they're under 6, and we had to pay €14.90 per person. Many thanks to everyone who works there, we had a lovely morning and delicious food🥰

First of all, we actually like eating at l'Osteria. We went to l'Osteria in Euskirchen for the first time on Saturday. The service was very friendly, the appetizer very tasty. My drink, Spanish orange soda, was very bland. My husband ordered a pizza tonno, which had a very bland flavor, undercooked, with unidentifiable tuna and bitter onions. The garlic came separately, in a ton of neutral oil, which tasted absolutely nothing. I got a margarita instead of a marinara, no problem...after 5 minutes, my margarita came back with a handful of frutti di mare on top. It was swimming in the thawing water, and the fruit wasn't even warm enough. HACCP standards? I had to dab the water off the pizza with two napkins. What I ended up eating was tasteless...no garlic, nothing. I lost my appetite because of the water. The service staff was very attentive and friendly. We declined the compensation espresso, paid our bill, and left. It's a shame; despite its proximity, we won't be visiting this place again.

There were four of us – two adults and two children – and we had an all-around wonderful visit to L'Osteria. The playground was a real highlight for the kids, allowing us adults to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was, as always, delicious, the portions generous, and the quality top-notch. The service was friendly and attentive. We'd definitely be back!

We went to this restaurant this evening. We usually like going there, but today I was a bit shocked. I had made a reservation for two people at 8:15 p.m. Since the weather was still very nice, we asked if we could sit outside. The friendly man at the reception said it was no problem. As we walked past a man from the service staff and he looked at us questioningly, we told him that we would like to sit outside. He just looked at us strangely, so the man at the reception had to confirm this again and then said that he didn't care, he was already off work anyway. I found that a bit questionable, but OK. The service from the other employee was friendly. At some point I asked if it was possible to get a small version of a salad and he said he would ask about it. I then got my small salad (about half a normal salad), but it was OK. Not the best salad as far as I'm concerned, but OK. When we finally settled the bill, I was quite surprised, because I was charged the full amount for the small salad. Unfortunately, I was never informed of this. I paid for it, and it's not about the money, but if I'd known, I would have obviously taken the regular salad and taken the rest home. I have to say, I found that a bit cheeky. When I then wanted to redeem my Amore hearts, that didn't work either, because that's something you have to say right at the beginning. So, all in all, it's more of a rip-off, and this with the Amore hearts or vouchers that I could then suddenly no longer redeem is unfortunately not uncommon... always new excuses or alleged changes, etc. So, I don't think it's fair, but apparently, there's nothing that can be done about it.

We ate there yesterday, and the service was absolutely terrible. We had to wait almost 30 minutes until our order was finally taken (despite repeated requests). The waiter even said he was taking our order now, even though he wasn't actually in charge of us. We never found out who was. ;-) The pasta dishes were served quite quickly, and the salad arrived another 20 minutes later than the first dishes. You'd want to eat together, but then my pasta dish would have been cold by then. The dishes were all delicious, so I'm not complaining. But then we had to ask several employees for the bill. One waitress said: "IF I see the waiter, I'll let him know." Absolutely outrageous. We were about to leave without paying because we were simply ignored and none of the staff felt responsible for us. How many times we waved, clearly saw it, but were still ignored... Here, too, we had to wait 30 minutes... It's a shame, because the food is really delicious. But we won't be going back to the restaurant for a while, because good service is simply essential when you're going out to eat and want to have a good time.

Chic new building. The style is something. Comfortable seating. I had very friendly staff, who served me relatively quickly. The pizzas are incredibly large, which I wasn't prepared for. Freshly prepared and very tasty. People who aren't very hungry or can only eat a little should share a pizza. However, I was very disappointed that there was no local wine available, only off-the-shelf wines from Italy. Which I can't understand when you have such a wine-producing region on your doorstep. Even for a chain, this is incomprehensible.

Seven of us tried the Sunday brunch and were really satisfied. The food is freshly prepared in the open, very clean kitchen and is constantly replenished. There's a good selection of rolls, bread, and savory or sweet toppings for you to make your own, or you can indulge in a variety of ready-made dishes. And don't forget dessert! Coffee is available as much as you like. Other drinks are charged extra, which is perfectly fine. We had a super friendly waitress who really took great care of us! The ambiance, with its industrial style, is modern and we liked it, but unfortunately, it gets really loud as soon as a few more people arrive. The only thing I would complain about are the red metal chairs. They're totally uncomfortable! Maybe some seat cushions could help ;-) Conclusion: Highly recommended, great value for money. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant. We had to wait over 30 minutes before anyone even came to take our order – even though the restaurant wasn't overly busy. When the food finally arrived, we were shocked again: a caterpillar in the salad. Instead of an apology, we received only a terse "Oops" – completely unprofessional and disrespectful. After the meal, the used dishes remained on the table for over 20 minutes, even though the staff walked past us several times. Again, no attention, no service. The food itself was average at best. In the end, they (of course) removed the salad from the bill! Conclusion: Poor service, poor hygiene, and no concern for guests. For me, this was my first and definitely my last visit. Not recommended.

Losteria, you see... All have a similar layout, unfortunately always noisy, but we still enjoy eating there every now and then. The pizzas are "mega," and not just in size. Very tasty, thin crust, good toppings. I had the Pizza Degli Artisti, which I wouldn't order again because the crust was very soggy. I've tried a few pizzas and found them all delicious. What's great is that you can order two different pizza halves, and if you can't manage it, you get a pizza box to take away. The service left something to be desired. Very pleasant, I can't complain, but even though it wasn't busy and our glasses were empty, we weren't even asked if we wanted to order anything else. When we wanted to pay, we had to make an effort to get someone to look over. Price/performance is okay! We paid €45 for a Salami/Caprese pizza and a Pizza Degli Artisti/Salami+, a giant Coke (400ml), and a Fanta (300ml). All in all, we highly recommend Losteria Euskirchen!

Update 06/27/25 We ate here today with an appetizer, main course, and dessert. We had good weather, and it was pleasant to sit outside. When we asked for some bread for the salad, we only received two small pieces. The pizza had apparently been sitting there for a while and was lukewarm. We probably had to wait 30 minutes for it. They only asked if everything was okay at the end. I had to proactively point out that I wanted to order something else. Dessert also arrived 30 minutes later, which never really took that long. Tiramisu is getting worse and worse, which I find very unfortunate. The soufflé was 👍 A bit disappointed with the service, which is why we left a smaller tip. Hope it will be better next time. Update 12/15/24 Sunday lunch with family without a reservation. There were still a few seats available. We were assigned a seat by the window. I chose a dish from the weekly menu, which was delicious with Parmesan cheese (see picture) 👍 Otherwise, we also tried the ice cream flavors. They were quite okay. I liked the lemon one the best. For the price, we would have chosen a different dessert. Regarding the ambiance: The music selection could be a bit quieter and more discreet. Regarding the service: It was a bit inattentive today. Our food order wasn't taken until 25 minutes after we arrived. The food came relatively quickly. After dessert, we had to get up and ask for it ourselves. Plates weren't cleared away for dessert. I think folding pizza boxes or rearranging Christmas decorations can be done when the guests are actually taken care of, at least to make eye contact every now and then. Also worth mentioning are the activities and crayons for the children! Thank you :) ------ As a regular Losteria guest, it's nice to be able to visit another location. Time: 7 p.m. until closing. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces, including handicapped parking spaces at the entrance. Atmosphere: Very nice and cozy. There's even a seating area above the bar (I didn't look closely). There's enough space for large and small groups, which I like. It didn't seem crowded even though there were a lot of people there. Reception: Beautiful fresh roses, I think it's nice! I walked in the door alone and took in the great ambiance. There was no one at the reception, and after a few minutes, I approached the staff myself. Seating: I was allowed to choose a seat; I found the seats by the window very nice and comfortable, and the chairs were great too! Staff & Service: Friendly and attentive service. We were presented with the weekly menu. The table was cleared promptly after our meal. They also asked us if everything was okay. Food & Delivery Time: The food was delicious. I ordered a pizza margarita. It was a nice size, as you'd expect from Losteria. We weren't in a hurry, but the food could have come a little faster. The tiramisu was a bit meager in terms of portion size. Order & Cleanliness: The tables and floor were clean, nothing to complain about. Price & Performance: The prices are a bit high. Considering the portions and the service... a bit too high, they need to improve! Keep it up!

We waited over half an hour before someone finally came to ask for drinks. After another 45 minutes, we were told that the first pizza was gone and they were making a new one. We declined and left (after a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes). They didn't ask for drinks again, even though we walked past the table several times. There were still plenty of free tables, so it wasn't busy. However, we didn't have to pay for the drink my partner and I had.

Today, as we often do, we had dinner at L'Osteria with our three children. It was lovely as always, the staff were very friendly, and the drinks and food arrived quickly. Today, the service was truly exceptional. The child-friendliness was also great. Very understanding and considerate. We love it here and would love to come back!

So, I'm sorry. The atmosphere was quite nice, but the music was much too loud, making conversation almost impossible... The service was unfortunately very poor. The waiters are busy with everything but the well-being of the customers, and then they want tips. I'm sorry, but that's cheeky... Even the German railway is faster than L'osteria Euskirchen. I missed three delayed DB trains while waiting 1.5 hours for my food. Starters were taken but never brought to us because they realized after an hour that they weren't there anymore. The price-performance ratio is abysmal... I'm sorry, but all in all, a very poor place, and I expect much more...

The food was good. Service could have been improved, i.e., it was a disaster. We had a reservation and it wasn't very busy. We had to wait a while for a table assignment; the menus weren't brought after ordering, and cutlery and napkins were only brought upon request. The main course wasn't brought at the same time; my pizza was served when my wife was almost finished with hers. We've been here in Euskirchen many times, but today's experience means we'll be taking a longer break from Losteria Euskirchen. It's a shame, really.

Basically, there's nothing to complain about, but nothing to particularly praise either. In my opinion, L'Osteria's price-performance ratio hasn't been right for a while. The quality of the food has deteriorated, and the prices are outrageously high. The atmosphere is still nice! The service is okay, but far from professional. Mood swings are commonplace and human, but have no place in service. There is one exception: a lady who is always very professional and friendly and is very attentive to children.

The rooms we booked were located on a busy street, so it was very noisy and, unfortunately, dirty, with an unpleasant smell! Breakfast was a disaster like no other, with hard, undercooked rolls—two per person!—and two slices of cheap salami, a slice of cheese, and two jams in plastic wrappers. The only-so-friendly waitress told us there were no eggs for breakfast.

About the restaurant/catering establishment: We were there for the first time yesterday, and it felt like coming home. A warm welcome, cheerful people who genuinely strive to fulfill their guests' wishes. The relaxed atmosphere and the rustic ambiance make everything feel really cozy :D So the over an hour drive was worth it, and we'll be back. Until then, all the best!
