Zülpicher Döner in Köln

One of the top addresses for kebab in Cologne, in my opinion even the best! Everything is freshly prepared and the kebab is also made with love, which is unfortunately no longer the case in many kebab shops these days! The salt on top makes it really good!

Update January 2024: Although energy prices have long since fallen, the price was cheekily increased again to €7.50. Elsewhere in Cologne you can get a decent doner bag for €6. Original March 2023: Actually one of the better kebabs, but €6.90 now? No thanks. I doubt energy prices have risen that much more here than in the rest of the city.

In my opinion the best kebab in Cologne. There is really only kebab & lahmacun here, no fries and other dishes that you would find in many kebab shops. So it's purely a kebab shop, and you can taste it. The doner kebab is super tasty, on Thursdays there is always a Yaprak skewer, so no minced meat, but layered, very tasty. The salad pocket also tastes great. The bread is also particularly delicious here, of course homemade just like the lahmacun. My first stop for a good kebab!

The Zülpicher kebab is one of the best in Cologne, whether it's veal or chicken kebab, and everything is made in-house, which you can definitely taste!!!

The ambience is minimalist and does not invite you to linger. There are only a few seats. But that's about it for criticism. The kebab is and remains the best far and wide. I have really appreciated the snack bar for 20 years! You won't find better lamb kebab anywhere else.

Had the first chickpea dürüm of my life there. The chickpeas are roasted over an open flame and you can taste it! The homemade sandwich (unfortunately Dürüm was out) was also great and there was plenty of salad. Will definitely come back!

The best kebab in North Rhine-Westphalia and I'm not just saying that every weekend a kebab or dürüm is torn away here, the best meat, fresh salad, fresh bread, everything from a single source, respect to the owner who stands behind the counter for 12-15 hours every day and takes care of that we are happy (Abi please do lahmacun again) The atmosphere is fast food style in a party district, so you shouldn't expect too much there. I recommend it to everyone who lives here or is visiting Cologne! You have my word of honor!

Top kebab for several years in a row, probably the best in town in recent years! I drive all the way from Prague to get it and sometimes I bring it home. I recommend it for all doner kebab lovers. EDIT: I took the liberty of inviting other friends from Prague, kebab lovers, who tested 12 different types in two days in Cologne, and we all agreed that this one is still among the absolute best thanks to its quality.

When it comes to the taste of meat in döner kebab, I list this place as number 1 among the things I eat. My favorite is the freshly made bread with some onion and parsley vegetables and a little yoghurt sauce, because I find the meat so delicious.

The meat is really good and definitely deserves more stars, but the way it is prepared in conjunction with the bread/dürüm afterwards just makes the taste experience bad. You cannot cut the meat and drop it into oil collection containers (either empty the oil collection container or use a shovel) and then make a kebab or dürüm with it. Of course, this results in the end product dripping due to oil and not tasting as it should. Maybe it was an isolated incident - I'll go back and take a look.

For me the best kebab in Cologne! The bread is freshly made and everything about the kebab tastes good. You can tell that the things are fresh and the couple who run the shop really enjoy doing everything! I always like to come back :)

Really my favorite kebab in Cologne. Both the chicken kebab and the vegan alternative of chickpea kebab are incredibly good. Also more than fair in terms of price. I eat the chickpea doner for only €5 at least 3 times a week. You can also pay for everything here by card.

There are 3 good kebabs in Cologne. Mevlana Keup Str. Oruc Kyhfhäuser And Zülpicher kebab. That's it. The kebab here is really top. Always my pleasure Never been disappointed. I've been coming here for 15 years and will continue to do so for the next few years. Thanks for this top kebab.

I've eaten a lot of kebabs country after country. My face is good! Bread baked in-house, skewers only filled with real pieces of meat and a cheap vegan offer! What more do you want? Lahmacun is freshly painted and baked. Hot sauce is fruity and hot like salsa and something other than just chili powder. I'm pretty sure it's the best kebab in Cologne, maybe the best in Germany, but so far it's really number 1 on my list.

Dieser Döner Laden ist in und um Köln eine Institution und das nicht ohne Grund. Nicht nur, dass sie betrunkene Menschen des Kölner Nachtlebens unermüdlich und seit Jahren ernährt haben, nein, der Döner Kebap sticht hervor durch puristische Auslegung, überzeugend durch Qualität und Geschmack. Das Brot und Fleisch sind hervorragend. Als Döner Gourmet ist es meine Pflicht, das Gericht mit Kalb und Zwiebeln plus Scharf zu bestellen - nicht mehr nicht weniger. Dies universell auf alle Döner angewendet, liefert eine ausreichende Vergleichbarkeit und bringt den wahren Charakter eines jeden Döners hervor.

Noch nie so lange auf einen Döner gewartet. Absolut unfreundlich.

Ich war nach meiner eher schlechten Erfahrung wieder einmal hier essen und bin überrascht und zwar sehr positiv. Der Döner schmeckt wieder sehr gut und die Bedienung war wieder sehr freundlich. Da auch das Ambiente schon immer authentisch war, finde ich den Laden wieder absolut empfehlenswert. Neu und ein Geheimtipp ist der Kichererbsendürüm für alle Vegetarier. Bitte haltet dieses Niveau.

Es werden keine fertigen Fleischspieße gekauft, sondern das Fleisch und Brot wird frisch jeden Tag zubereitet! Wenn man hier den Döner noch nie probiert hat, hat man das Leben umsonst gelebt! Kenne persönlich Leute die 300km ausm Süden nach Köln fahren um da Döner zu essen.

Der Laden ist abbruchreif,der Döner aber 1a. Das Brot wird selbst gebacken ,das Fleisch ist saftig und super gewürzt.Absolute Empfehlung. Ps. Gegessen habe ich das Kalbsdöner.Den ihr auch unbedingt probieren solltet!

Der Döner mit Hähnchenfleisch war einfach zu ölig, mit der Joghurtsoße machte es einfach das Brot zu bröselig. Salat war frisch, aber war in der Kombination nicht lecker und nach meinem Empfinden auch zu viel im Brot. Hähnchenfleisch lecker und gut gewürzt, aber einfach zu ölig. Im Gesamtergebnis tat es meinem Magen nicht gut, für knapp 7€ nicht empfehlenswert für Döner Feinschmecker.

Das war einer der schlechtesten Döner, den wir gegessen haben. Wenn man um 1 Uhr nachts bestellt erwartet man trotz der Uhrzeit eine einiger maßen gute Qualität. Das Fleisch war schlicht nicht frisch - ich erkenne aufgewärmtes und älteres Hähnchenfleisch immer sofort. Sorry aber nicht alle sind betrunken um dieser Uhrzeit… Wir haben dem Döner zwei Chancen gegeben.

Sehr leckeres Dönerfleisch, ordentliche Portionen. 1 Stern Abzug wegen den Preisen und es war geschmacklich ein Ticken besser vor paar Jahren, sozusagen das „Gewisse etwas“.

Zülpicher Döner war die Anlaufstelle für den Döner in Köln. Mittlerweile schmeckt da nichts mehr und für jeden der den Döner immer besucht hat wird jetzt enttäuscht werden.

Sehr nette Bedienung, schmeckt sehr lecker, das Brot ist fluffig, das Fleisch saftig und die Soßen traumhaft. Kann ich nur empfehlen

Heute nach langer Zeit nochmal gespeist. Der Döner bleibt für mich in Köln die Nummer 1. Mit 6,90€ inzwischen etwas teurer, bei den "großen" Ketten ist es allerdings auch nicht günstiger bzw. sogar teurer. Der Döner punktet durch den frischen Salat, das hausgemachte Brot und das leckere Fleisch welches einen einmaligen Geschmack bietet.

Super lecker! Riesiger Döner mit richtig viel Fleisch! Angemessener Preis. Meiner Meinung nach bester Döner in Köln! Weiter so! Update: Mittlerweile kostet der Döner 6,90 Euro!!!! Eine Preissteigerung innerhalb einiger Monate um knapp 40%. Und meiner persönlichen Meinung nach wird auch weniger Fleisch auf dem Döner verteilt, daher ziehe ich einen Stern für den Preis ab und einen weiteren Stern dafür ab, dass man trotz höherem Preis weniger bekommt. Wir haben hier damals echt gerne einen leckeren Döner bestellt, aber mittlerweile ist der Preis echt extrem hoch und das Angebot nicht mehr auf selbem Niveau daher muss man da echt schauen, wie oft man es sich noch leisten kann bzw ob man dazu bereit ist, diesen überhöhten Preis noch zu bezahlen!!!! Und der Ladeninhaber sollte mal darüber nachdenken, dass die Endverbraucher auch nicht mal eben Lohn- oder Gehaltserhöhungen von etwa 40% bekommen, nur weil alles teurer geworden ist!!!

Im Raum Köln wird man wohl keinen besseren Döner finden.

Bester Döner, den ich seit langem gegessen habe. Cacik mit Scharf Kombination einfach anderes Level an Baba! Jeder der hier schlechte Bewertung gibt, hat und wird nie einen Plan von Döner haben. Preislich auch heutzutage sehr gut. Radikale Portion an Fleisch die der Abi hier in den Döner feiert. Mit Zülpi Döner macht man definitv nichts falsch.
