Super!!! Very tasty and fast!!!

Last night's murder mystery dinner was disappointing and not good value for money. It was more like a two-person show that was rushed through and often descended into silliness. The guests were involved, but this often had nothing to do with solving the mystery. As my tablemate said... tiring... The food at the Leuchtturm restaurant is very tasty, but the portions yesterday were very meager. The main course consisted of three small pieces of bell pepper, two small pieces of zucchini, six small pieces of pumpkin with mashed potatoes and what felt like a tablespoon of sauce. In addition, three small strips of roast beef were discreetly hidden under the leek garnish. With soup, dessert, and drinks, the price came to over €100 per person. We wouldn't recommend the murder mystery dinner. We'd rather eat somewhere else and then go to one of the good theaters in Oldenburg.

I've ordered from Lieferando several times and noticed that the portion of chicken in the "create your own chicken bowl" is very, very small. Today I ordered with extra chicken and received even less than usual. There were about five tiny pieces in it. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering again.

Found it by chance, as our accommodation was nearby. The idea was to just drop in and try it out. Highly recommended. The schnitzel isn't frozen and deep-fried, but audibly pounded and pan-fried, very tasty fried potatoes, a fine hunter's sauce, and a delicious Radeberger beer. The ambiance, between two train tracks and a parking lot, isn't exactly worthy of a five-star rating, but the rest of the place makes up for it. Friendly, quick service, very good value for money. What more could you want? If I'm in Oldenburg again, I'll definitely stop by.

Great location, right on the Hunte River with a large beer garden. The food is home-style cooking at reasonable prices. A lovely, quiet spot in the heart of Oldenburg.
