Zauber von OS Burger and more in Osnabrück

Yesterday I finally had the pleasure of dining at Zauber von OS with colleagues. We had made a reservation in advance, which I would recommend for the future as the restaurant was very busy. I really like the ambiance and decor of the restaurant—cozy, not too formal, yet functional, with a living room atmosphere. The staff was very polite and attentive, but not intrusive. We ate from the burger buffet, where you can build your own burger with the available ingredients. The patties included the classic beef burger patty, baked feta as a vegetarian option, and seitan as a vegan alternative. It came with classic fries as a side dish, with a choice of potato or sweet potato fries. Of course, you can also order à la carte instead of the buffet. For drinks, Zauber von OS offers a variety of beers and non-alcoholic beverages, a cocktail menu, a whisky menu, and always something new. The prices were also reasonable. As is typical in 2025, payment is exclusively by card, which I understand. I hope there's still a cash payment option available, just in case. I'll be back.

I had reserved a table in advance and clearly specified its location during the reservation process. This was confirmed. However, once we arrived, this was disregarded, and we were simply seated at the bar. Furthermore, it wasn't mentioned during the reservation that only a buffet was available that evening and that ordering from the menu was not possible. Overall, it was disappointing because the agreed-upon arrangements were not honored.

Lovely shop with stuff I love. Absolutely delicious food. Great beer. Lovely, attentive people who work there. Thumbs up from the name-forgetting one. 😊

I already left a review here once and I'm surprised it's gone. Every single aspect exceeds 5 stars. Starting with the outstanding and very personal service. The burgers are incredibly delicious and the bar leaves nothing to be desired. Even if something isn't on the menu – they'll make it for you! The atmosphere – especially in the front – is simply cozy!

Interesting space, lots to discover. Great service. The burger was fantastic. I was a little cold there, but that's very subjective! I'll come back with a driver and try the great cocktail menu.

Delicious cocktails and excellent food

Really delicious vegan burgers with homemade seitan. That's a rare find these days. The "large" fries are a truly generous portion – not just a tiny wire basket with three fries for a lot of money. The decor is like Grandma's house: cozy sofas with tables and chairs – perfect for relaxing. The staff are very attentive and the food arrives quickly. We'll definitely be back.

It was my first time there. The burgers are no different from those at Bulldog or Peter Pane. I also didn't think the prices were entirely justified. Taste-wise, everything was okay, but nothing special. The atmosphere was quite dark, and the next table was embarrassingly loud, but I guess that's just how it is these days. The service was very nice; the shorter, dark-haired waiter was very attentive and friendly, while the taller one was very rushed. It was okay for a one-time visit, but it didn't impress me enough to make me feel like coming back again…

The burgers are incredibly delicious, uniquely flavorful, and something truly special! The homemade lemonade was also a hit. The service is excellent, and the food arrives quickly. The only downside is that you practically stick to the table. Still, it's worth a visit!

We came spontaneously on a Friday evening and got a great seat. The service was super friendly and the food was truly delicious. We were able to sit comfortably and even enjoy our drinks after dinner. We would come back again and again. The restaurant is definitely recommended!

Yes, I understand that it's late at 9:00 PM, but we needed to get some refreshment. The kitchen is closed, so we only got Tiramisu and tea, as well as cherry liqueur and Jagermeister. Tiramisu is tender, fresh and tasty, herbal tea is good. Cherry liqueur is excellent! It would be great to have something to eat for such late visitors) By the way, you need to appreciate that there are no people on the streets, and here people are cozy chatting to pleasant music. We drove 1000 km. And we stopped in Osnabrück after 8:30 PM, so many establishments are closed, but here Google recommended this place. The restaurant is colorful. Next time we want to try local cuisine. I recommend) Interesting decorations in the bar-restaurant

We ate there, were served promptly, and the burgers were delicious. We didn't try the drinks. If we ever get the chance, we'd be happy to come back.

We received a warm welcome right away and were able to choose one of several seats for four people. We opted for outside – the atmosphere is relaxed and really pleasant. A few additional lights or a heater wouldn't have been a bad idea outside, though, as it was a bit chilly. The craft beer was fruity and really tasty, and the avocado burger also impressed me – highly recommended! It was also good value for money, and the portions were generous and filling. The music outside – especially the old hip hop – created a really good atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the bartender: he was a real star and served the drinks with style. All in all, a really successful evening. I can definitely recommend the place – and will definitely be back!

What a fantastic place, go see for yourself. Possibly the best hamburger I've ever had. A truly Osnabrück atmosphere.

A nice place right near the bouldering gym. What I don't understand is why the menu says the burger patties are freshly prepared and even fried pink, but then you get a ready-made patty?! The picture shows that it's definitely not a fresh patty. Either change the menu or offer truly fresh patties!

There were two of us there. No reservation, but if it gets warmer I would make a reservation. The service was great. We were well advised. Among other things, the cocktails. We each had a burger and I had the chili cheese fries! They were really nice and spicy! Our cocktails were really delicious! Only the waiting time of 1 hour was very long... But the store is still very cool! You can see the changing types of beer on a large board!

We called at short notice and asked for a table for two They said they had some free time, but when we arrived everything was full and we were only offered a place at the bar, which is a bit inconvenient if you want to have dinner We were then offered a table by the sofa, which was even worse Staff totally stressed and overwhelmed

We went out to eat on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. and were told that the meal would take about 50 minutes. The food came at 9:45 p.m. and they didn't even ask for drinks the whole time. The burgers were delicious, only the side burger didn't taste good at all. It seems as if there are too few staff in the kitchen and restaurant.

Waited over 1.5 hours for the food. Drinks were rarely asked for. There was no effort to pull the cow off the ice either. The waitresses are not very friendly.

Beautifully furnished restaurant with unusual decorative elements, such as a vintage, ancient measuring device, a voltmeter. Comfortable atmosphere. Very attentive service. Charming, funny but also attentive and quick. Good cocktails, rose highball recommended. No wonder that the restaurant is very busy on Saturday evenings. Table reservation is recommended.

We had our departmental W celebration here. Unfortunately the places at 6 and 8:30 p.m. were allocated. It was a bit tight, but it worked well with everyone's participation.

Etwas abseits der Innenstadt von Osnabrück gelegen aber sehr gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Die Einrichtung besteht aus alten Möbelstücken , es ist sehr gemütlich! Es gibt feinste Burger mit Fleisch oder Vegan, leckere Pommes, verschiedene Salate mit leckeren Dips. Für den Sommer gibt es eine große Aussenterrasse. Mein absolutes Highlight ist die Bar die locker auch in New York oder London sein könnte. Sehr gepflegte Biersorten, Longdrinks, Whiskys und edle Brände. Natürlich auch eine große Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken.

We came with a group of international friends and were completely thrilled. The food was great, we all thought! Whether you are a meat eater, vegetarian or vegan, 100% satisfaction. Very tasty burgers, nice staff. Absolutely okay in terms of price, portions and price are reasonable. Quality is great. Only the two train tracks nearby can be heard clearly when sitting outside, but not necessarily annoying.

Good burger shop with a wide range of options, prices per burger are not cheap, but still reasonable. Good lemonades, terrace with evening sun.

Super tasty there! Everything is special, the burgers, the salad, the service staff, even the honey mustard sauce and not forgetting the tiramisu!!! Everything here stands out from all other burger shops because of a little something, e.g. the touch of lemon zest in the tiramisu, the waiter with the beret and the sophisticated salad dressing! Everything tasted excellent! The service was super friendly and accommodating and the burgers have funny names. I really enjoyed the evening with this delicious meal and would even consider staying another 2 hours just to eat. and 40 minutes to drive from Bonn to Osnabrück!!! 6 STARS from me 😉

Extremely good burger and the man at the counter really knows a thing or two about drinks. The 12 pages of alcoholic drinks are consistently awesome. If you're ever in Osnabrück, come here and ask for his homemade walnut whiskey. The best whiskey I've ever drunk

Was the gathering point for wedding guests before our daughter's wedding

One of the few hand-made burgers in the city that are really classy and everything else is just right. Very friendly staff who always recognize their regular guests even if they haven't been there for a while. Service is great, very clean and cozy interior, just a place to forget time and enjoy good food. The offer for vegetarians and vegans is also particularly great. I can no longer imagine life without Mäh-Burger and our offspring were warmly welcomed here instead of being looked at askance like in other restaurants. Just go there and forget about time.

I was so impressed on my first visit that I ate there two more evenings. Super nice owner/bartender. All dishes on the menu are very tasty and recommended. The menu is manageable and changes regularly. You can also enjoy the evening for a long time with very tasty cocktails. In winter I can highly recommend the homemade walnut whiskey. I will eat there again on my next visit to Osnabrück.

The two of us were there spontaneously during the week. Very early, so getting a table wasn't a problem. The staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. Seems to find a solution for everything. The burgers were excellent. The ingredients are all fresh. Although the location has a very good selection of beers, we opted for a wine from the regular menu, which was simply delicious. They also seem to be familiar with this. The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and rustic. We sat in the winter garden. We really like the concept of old chairs and sofas placed “wildly” all over the place. Will definitely come back soon! 😉

The burger was very tasty. Unfortunately, the fries we ordered only came after the burger had already been eaten. Waiting wouldn't have been an option, otherwise the burger would have been cold. The fries were also tasty and the portion size was large. There are a few beers to choose from on the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and unique. We sat in the "living room". Four of us went here for dinner and drinks on a Saturday. Even though we were there more than 60 minutes early, we were still able to get our table straight away. The staff is super nice and all the food was very tasty!!! We will be back definitely!

We spontaneously went there for a burger yesterday and were thrilled. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, the burgers and fries were delicious. We can particularly recommend the Italian Stallion and the (enchanted?) goat burger. The waitress was friendly and even warned us not to order two large portions of fries that we would never have been able to finish if there were two of us.

Stay away from spicy food or drinks - inedible. But very tasty burgers and cocktails

Really great. Came here by chance. Very tasty burgers, nice and crispy, fresh and super tasty sauce. Fries are also very good, not the thin ones (like MCs, for example) that are nice and crispy. We were pleasantly surprised and would love to come back.

Waren heute Abend zu zweit dort. Es war sehr lecker , der Service war super , die Bedienung hat uns vorher extra drauf aufmerksam gemacht das die „Chili Cheese Fries“ sehr scharf sind, und das waren sie auch 😄 dennoch sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder !

Leckere Burger und eine Lösung lockere und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir gehen hier sehr gerne mit Freunden essen. Kleinere "Patzer" wie ein vergessener Dip werden schnell korrigiert.
