At 2 a.m. I asked how long they were open, "until 3 a.m." they said. At 20 to 3 then suddenly "no more kebab, sorry" and behind it the quarter kebab skewer is still spinning. What a shame :(

Best kebab and the pizza is also very tasty. Only recommended. We come from Stuttgart and when it comes to price we can't keep up. A kebab now costs 9 euros here. If you are in Regensburg you should definitely stop by here.

My first choice when I want to eat a kebab. A nice non-alcoholic light beer or ayran. Also have many other delicious dishes. They are always friendly and helpful. The prices are local. There is enough seating and standing room.

I've lived in Regensburg for four years now and this is the best Döner in town, it's always very tasty and the staff are friendly and welcoming 🙏 😋

The vegetarian kebab knocked the legs out from under me despite the late hour. A wonderful taste experience that I can only recommend.

The only thing missing is lemon juice on the kebab, otherwise everything goes very well! We have simply become regular customers for several months! A bonus card like that wouldn't be bad either! This will make you more motivated to eat out more often.

The kebab is simply the best from Regensburg and the bread is also excellent, but it can sometimes happen that the bread falls apart. Everything is excellent, but the opening times and everything are not quite right, because we were there recently at 7:00 p.m. on a Sunday and it said the shop was open but it was closed. That wasn't great because we had to drive for a long time. However, on the whole, really great food, although in my opinion the ambience really leaves a lot to be desired. Das Essen hier ist top, meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Döner der Stadt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente auch schön.

My daughter and I went here yesterday for lunch. The staff were so lovely - we didn't realise it was cash only (and had no Euro!) So the owner insisted we stay and eat and come back later to pay. Such incredibly fine service and really made our day with such great kindness. The kebab was seriously the best kebab I have ever eaten in this world. Even better than Australia! :) It's seriously a must to try! You won't be disappointed at all!! So fresh! 😀

Der Service war super das Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt das Personal war nett und sympathisch ich kann es jedem empfehlen.

Mein absoluter Lieblings Dönerladen.. Die Pizzen sind richtig gut und auch selbst gemacht UND nicht so fettig... Der Falafel dürüm schmeckt aber auch sehr gut... und die Preise sind ganz normal. Ausserdem ist das Personal sehr nett. Ich kann den Laden nur weiterempfehlen

Eine der top Adressen was Döner in Regensburg betrifft. Fleischqualität ist gut, großes Spektrum an Soßen und selbst gebackenes Brot. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Preise angemessen. War schon das ein oder andere mal da und wurde nie enttäuscht.

Bester Grill Hat mir mehrmals das Leben gerettet

Ich wohne knapp 80km entfernt von Regensburg in einer kleinen Stadt. Hier kostet der Döner inzwischen 7Euro. Deshalb kann ich das gejammere wegen den 6Euro nicht verstehen. Habe vor kurzem im Zara gegessen, und kann nur bestätigen dass es lecker war. Vom frischen Brot bis zur Soße- bei der übrigens auch die Konsistenz passt!! :)

I am giving 2 starts, 1 star for the food. I ordered a dürüm kebab, and the meat was really blend and felt really old and greasy. The tortilla was soaked with oil from the meat and it was all over my clothes. Spicy sauce wasn't bad, but it wasn't good at all. The place is closing at 2 am, so it helps people from bars around to keep not hungry. I am giving the second star for the good location since it is located in the city center and it was packed with people.

War lange Zeit einer meiner lieblings Dönerläden. Jedoch haben die Qualität und vor allem die Portionsgrößen in letzter Zeit bemerkbar nachgelassen.

Ich kenne das Zara schon seit Jahren und gehe dort, obwohl ich inzwischen nicht mehr in Regensburg wohne immer wieder gerne hin, besonders weil das Essen sehr lecker ist. Allerdings finde ich es, gerade nach Corona und v.a. im Jahr 2023 schlicht einen Witz dass immer noch nur Barzahlung angeboten wird. Da es im konservativen Regensburg ja nicht mal Parkautomaten mit Kartenzahlung geschweige App-Parken gibt, wird hier der typisch deutsche des letzen Jahrhunderts sicher nicht enttäuscht. Für mich ist es jedoch ein deutlicher Punktabzug. Langsam sollte auch diese Möglichkeit beim letzten Dönerladen - egal wie gut das Essen schmeckt - angekommen sein.

Bester Döner überhaupt. Die Saucen sind nicht zu toppen, vor allem die Scharfe, das Brot immer frisch. Falafel wohl selbstgemacht. Gutes Salatdressing mit Kräuter. Ich weiß gar nicht, was alle gegen die Currysauce haben, auch die harmoniert bestens mit den anderen Saucen. Tomaten immer sehr fruchtig.

Sehr nettes Personal. Döner war gut. Der Preis war mir etwas zu teuer, da bin ich andere Preise gewohnt. Der Döner wurde sehr schnell zubereitet. Kleine Sitz Gelegenheiten waren vorhanden. Zugang für Rollstuhlfahrer war eher schlecht.

Wer den Döner von Zara Grill nicht mag, liegt bald im Sarg!

Mittlerweile mein Lieblingsdönerladen in Regensburg, da dort der Teig sowohl für Döner 🥙 als auch Dürüm 🌯 und Pizza 🍕 selbst gemacht wird. Habe mittlerweile alles durchprobiert und finde die Soßen am Döner top. Geschmacklich immer wieder ein Gaumenschmaus. 🤤

ich gebe nur einen stern, weil 0 sterne nicht möglich ist. Ich habe noch nie so schlechten service erlebt - und ich komme aus Österreich lol. Wir haben 20 Minuten gewartet - der dönermann hat während wir bestellt haben das Fenster zugemacht und den laden geschlossen. VollenDönerspiess abmontiert, brote weggeschmissen, mind 15 wartende leute weggeschickt. Noch nie so einen saftlaben erlebt -wenn man sich selbst das geschäft verderben will hast du’s geschafft, gratuliere

Alles mega lecker habe fast die ganze Karte von oben nach unten gegessen. Alles was man bestellt schmeckt faszinierend lecker. Alles frisch und das Personal super freundlich und auch lustig. Wenn man mal in Regensburg ist MUSS man da essen, wunderbar.

Jedes Mal ein Genuss!! Alle Backwaren werden frisch zubereitet! Es gibt drei verschiedene Soßen und auch für Vegetarier gibt es eine gute Auswahl -wie zb Falafel Döner/Dürüm. Sehr zu empfehlen!
