The very good Napoleonic pizza completely convinced me. Arrived directly from Switzerland and already found the perfect pizza. The service is also incredibly friendly.

Let's get this out of the way first: the food at Zampano Pizza & Pasta was quite good. Or, at least, my colleagues said so. My food never arrived, and the food two of my colleagues received was not what they ordered. But after an hour, they took whatever the waitstaff left at the table. Despite not being what they wanted, these guys said it was very good. The problem with Zampano Pizza & Pasta was the service. Yes, it was a busy mid-week evening and the restaurant inside and outside was quite full. From what I could tell, there were three waitstaff - two men and one woman. They kitchen had at least four or five people making food. But it was complete chaos. Service was beyond slow and the staff kept getting the orders wrong. Our party of six had three meals arrive after about 30 minutes. Two others in our party had the wrong meal delivered after an hour, as mentioned before. And mine never arrived. After several diplomatic requests, the waiter and waitress literally dropped off whatever meal was ready at the time. The staff was visibly very frustrated on one hand, but also completely void of any sympathy for guests. Diners were getting up and leaving, staff was yelling at each other and patrons. At one point, we saw a woman grab two plates from the waitress outside, taking them inside and putting the plates in front of her starving children. I am sure it was not what her family ordered, but you can't keep toddlers from eating, and the mother did what she had to do. After not getting my food, I asked the staff to take one round of drinks off our order to make up for our troubles. They agreed. Of course when the check came, instead of one round being taken off, another round was ADDED. I literally had UberEats queued up to deliver a pizza to my table, but I didn't have the heart to do it. But I should have since my meal for the evening wound up being a falafel wrap and can of beer from the grocery store a few blocks away - on my way back to the hotel. It's a pity that Zampano Pizza & Pasta has THE worst service I've had in decades, a complete lack of basic customer service best practices, incompetent staff, zero organization, or any clue of how to run a restaurant. The covid-era labor crisis is over. There's no excuse. Recommendation: Avoid this place, no matter how good the food looks.

Definitely one of the best pizzas I ever had. Despite the Fridays night overload, the team found a seat for me, tired and hungry traveler and advised me to have Salcicca pizza which was absolutely astonishing. Sometimes our troubles (cancellation of flights) lead us to the new wonderful discoveries. Thanks, Zampano, you’re the best!

Dangerous 🚨 Dangerous 🚨 Dangerous 🚨last weak  our family had eaten Zampano. We ordered five pasta, two pizza and coke, but there was two pasta gluten free. I explained everything how to make  because of my wife. She has food allergies and is pregnant in three months. Now she is In the hospital because of stomach allergies. I would like to mention that a young waiter took this order. He has a small beard and glass on his face. I'm waiting to cure my wife. That's why I recommend it to everyone who doesn't speak German Don't go to Pizzeria Zampano....

You have 12 (I counted) people working behind the counter to make a few pizzas and you have 1h waiting time? Dude you need to review your business. One week in Italy and you learn the basics of running a pizzeria. This is nonsense.

Usually a very tasty pizza. Unfortunately, the restaurant accepts too many orders (mainly from outside/delivery services etc., but the phone was switched off) that cannot be processed quickly in the kitchen and leads to chaos. The service is also overwhelmed and becomes unfriendly when you ask (after about 50 minutes of waiting to take away or eat on site). Today I came to pick it up after 45 minutes and the pizza was only prepared when I asked. Which probably happened a little too quickly because some of the dough was still raw.

Pizza Salsiccia and Spaghetti Carbonara really excellent. If you like Neapolitan pizza, you definitely have to come here! Service was great, overall a really great experience.

Even if the food is half decent... Making your customers wait for 55 minutes before food arrives at the table is extremely poor service. The waiter was extremely rude and wouldn't recommend anything from the menu. He told us in the most racist manner that everything is in English and that we should read the menu and figure out what we wanted... I would recommend getting hospitality lessons before attempting to be in the restaurant business... Or maybe they're just racist towards Indians... I saw another Indian family go through the same ordeal. I do not recommend this place.

Wir waren Stammgäste in der Vorgängerpizzeria. Da war auch nicht alles perfekt, aber das Essen war meist recht gut und die Getränkekarte hat auch hervorragend gepasst. Qualität und Preis stimmten einfach. Heute waren wir erstmalig (hat sich früher nicht ergeben) im neun Zampano. Die Einleitung zur Karte ließ ja einige Erwartungen keimen, obgleich uns gleich die doch recht hohen Preise auffielen, die in keiner Weise zur Umgebung und zum Ambiente im Lokal passen. Das hat uns aber nicht abgeschreckt, sondern unsere Erwartungen noch höher geschraubt, sind wir doch gerne bereit, für qualitativ hochwertiges Essen auch den entsprechenden Preis zu bezahlen. Umso größer war die Enttäuschung, als das Essen vor uns stand. Schon allein optisch waren die Pizzen, die wir bestellt haben, in keiner Weise ansprechend und machten einen "vorverdauten" Eindruck. Das hat uns aber immer noch nicht abgeschreckt. Die ersten Geschmacksproben aber waren vernichtend. Pizzen mit lieblos arrangierten, undefinierbaren und geschmacklich vollkommen unzureichenden Belägen und einem Boden, der latschig und trotzdem verbrannt war. Also Pizza, sollten sich diese Teile wirklich nicht nennen. Hier ist jemand am Werk, der sein Handwerk nicht versteht. Wir haben alle schon ein paar Jahrzehnte auf dem Buckel, doch eine derart schlechte Pizza hat noch keiner von uns gegessen. Auch die Getränkeauswahl ist eher ungewöhnlich, spartanisch, nicht passend zu den Speisen und unangebracht teuer. Das marokkanische Personal war freundlich und nett, das deutsche eher das Gegenteil. Das Ambiente im Außenbereich mit fest montierten (man kann also bei Bedarf nicht an den Tisch rücken) Bierbänken rechtfertigt ebenfalls in keiner Weise die hohen Preise. Schade, es hätte etwas Gutes draus werden können, aber so müssen wir leider auf den nächsten warten, der sich an dieser Ecke versucht und es hoffentlich besser macht.

We were regulars at the previous pizzeria. Not everything was perfect, but the food was mostly quite good and the drinks menu was also excellent. Quality and price were just right. Today we were at the nine Zampano for the first time (it didn't happen before). The introduction to the menu gave rise to some expectations, although we immediately noticed the rather high prices, which in no way fit the surroundings and the ambience of the restaurant. But that didn't deter us; it raised our expectations even higher, as we are happy to pay the appropriate price for high-quality food. The disappointment was even greater when the food was in front of us. Visually alone, the pizzas we ordered were in no way appealing and made a “pre-digested” impression. But that still didn't deter us. But the first taste tests were devastating. Pizzas with carelessly arranged, indefinable and completely inadequate toppings and a base that was soggy and yet burnt. So these parts really shouldn't be called pizza. There is someone at work here who doesn't understand his craft. We've all had a few decades under our belts, but none of us have ever eaten pizza this bad. The selection of drinks is also rather unusual, spartan, does not match the food and is unreasonably expensive. The Moroccan staff was friendly and nice, the German staff was quite the opposite. The ambience in the outdoor area with permanently installed beer benches (so you can't move to the table if necessary) also in no way justifies the high prices. It's a shame, something good could have come of it, but unfortunately we have to wait for the next person to try this corner and hopefully do it better.

Friendly, great pizza but no wheat beer.

We ordered 3 Margherita Pizza yesterday evening. It took them 35 minutes to prepare it and all of them were burnt... we also ordered Pasta, which was not tasty at all...not recommended

Over 1.5 hours waiting time. After asking several times, we were told that the food would be prepared soon. Since I had to go to an appointment, I wanted to cancel the order and asked for my money back (54). The waiter only wanted to give me back 40 euros and I had to argue with him for a long time. Bottomless.

Nice atmosphere, especially outside, only the adjacent street can be a bit noisy at times. Very good food, especially the Pizza Piccante is a real insider tip. A reservation is not absolutely necessary outside of trade fair times.

TOP pizza (also known as pizzas) in Frankfurt! In my opinion, the very tasty and very good pizzas belong to the 'Champions League' of pizza makers throughout Frankfurt. There is often a lot going on on the large terrace and occasionally there are not enough service staff on site. If you have the time, it's not a problem at all. The audience is very mixed because of the location, but it has a lot of charm. For dessert: The pistachio tiramisu was a bit too dry for me personally. We'd love to come back.

We live in the Europaviertel and have been coming here very regularly since it opened, the food is basically excellent and different (much better) than most Italian restaurants in Frankfurt. However, the last two visits were a complete failure. Last week we sat in front of our salad for 1.5 hours waiting for the pizza. Yesterday I ordered a bottle of wine and when only one glass was brought by the waitress, I pointed it out to her. Reaction: she couldn't know that. Yes, you can tell as a waitress because I ordered a bottle. When we pointed out to the colleague who cleared the plates that the food was good, but the service was sloppy, he said: then we would know where we shouldn't go anymore. Considering the prices, absolutely subterranean behavior! Especially since the food not only causes longer waiting times but also decreases in quality (oily salad, no vinegar available upon request and only moderately warm pizza). What a shame!

As a Saarlander, eating “pasta floating in oil” takes some getting used to.

As a regular customer, I have unfortunately noticed a significant deterioration in service in the last few weeks. The waiting times for the food and the disappointed hope that the main courses will be served at the same time is a problem. The reaction to factual criticism is much more problematic (“then you know where you won’t go anymore”). It's a shame - given the good food

Fast delivery, best side salad so far (fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and fresh greens) and fine vegan pizzas (recommendation la Caponata).

The best pizza I have eaten in Germany! The ingredients are of the highest quality, making the visit a special taste experience. The Bufalina is so light in taste, yet the individual ingredients are extremely complex on the tongue. The cinque formaggi really delights the palate, with its various components of dough, San Marzano tomato sauce and selected cheeses. The team around the restaurant brings an authentic and original flair without having to pretend. Thank you guys!!

The food is delicious, but the organization is a disaster. Despite 7 people behind the counter there is no progress, we waited for hours and there are only 2 waiters for the outside area.

I've only ever ordered from wolt here and every time the food came quickly and tasted great. I'm not really a pizza fan, but I like it here. The pasta is also great. Everything was very fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Every time it was more than excellent: fresh taste, authentic Italian and the staff is great! I'm glad we live close by.

Best pizza we ever ate. We went there 3 times in 5 days. The way you prepare the food was an amazing experience to watch. The busy atmosphere creates a fun and cozy feeling. The pizza crust and seasoning was outstanding! All the best from Poland!

Google Maps wants an update: Still nothing to complain about. Update: Still great after many visits (or ToGo). The service was increased a bit in the summer and since then it has been running smoothly every time. Regardless of whether it's pizza/pasta/salad, everything tastes really, really good and is therefore worth the price. Keep it up 👍 After another tour of the apartment, we ended up here. The apartment was nice, but the pizza was the highlight of the day. It's been a really long time since I've had such a good pizza in Germany or it only tasted as good in our former restaurant ;D. Service nice & quick. Interior fittings are good and the space is well used. Toilets very clean and in keeping with the rest of the facility. Prices are also appropriate for the quality. And since we are now happily moving into the neighborhood, we will definitely be visiting often in the near future.

Hammer hammer without words, you just have to experience it. We tried everything, everything tasted good, especially the pistachio tiramisu dessert was bombeeeeee.

We spontaneously went to eat there on Saturday and didn't regret it. The food and service were sensational. Many thanks to Paul and the team. Paul also looked after our two children in a very kind and courteous manner and the food was served in no time. The waiter was super nice and very interesting! We ordered the same orange wine from the table next to us, and he recommended that we order another glass of lemoncello, which can be shared between two people~ In addition, I highly recommend the tiramisu in the photo, I highly recommend it! It is sprinkled with chopped nuts and is super fragrant. The two layers of cream inside are also pistachio-flavored. Nut lovers should be ecstatic.

Our favourite pizza place, great quality and best dough in town. Pasta bolognese was also super tasty. Staff speak English and is super friendly, our daughter cried because ‘wanted more pizza’ and she got a little treat for free. 110% recommended.

Very tasty and the service was super nice. They have a lot of high, long tables and little space in them and yet there is a children's chair at one of the tables, where the child can easily fit and behind it the stroller. The pasta and pizza tasted very good. We would definitely come back.

Food is delicious. Both pizza and pasta are recommended. Great pizza dough. Well documented. Good choice. Salad fresh and well dressed. Dessert completes the whole thing. Only bar stools inside. A little uncomfortable for me. Tables outside, but on the street.

Been there for the first time and very satisfied. Food was great, both the pasta and the pizza were very tasty. The homemade tiramisu was also really good. So it's definitely worth going there. We will come back in any case. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. The only small point of criticism is that the restaurant is on a main road.

Super courteous service and top quality food. You have to like the atmosphere. Since the restaurant is very small inside, it quickly gets a bit noisy. But for a quick dinner at a non-peak time - absolutely recommended. My pizza with salsiccia was ready within 10 minutes and the quality and quantity of toppings were very good.

Delicious pizzas with high quality toppings. Nice concept with the open kitchen. Unfortunately our waiter was a bit forgetful that day. No matter what we ordered from him, we had to organize ourselves at the counter (drinks, garlic oil and even the bill). We would still like to come back because of the excellent pizzas.

I was overall satisfied with my experience at the Zampano Pizza & Pasta. I ordered a pizza with the kind recommendation from one of the employees and a tiramisu. The pizza was evenly cooked and tasted amazing! The size of the pizza was perfect in satisfying my hunger and allowing me to also squeeze in a small dessert. It didn't take long for me to get served and I went during peek lunch hours. I would recommend visiting this restaurant to anyone, specially if you are a foreigner like me and are particular when it comes to the taste,size, presentation and overall cost of your pizza.

We were at a trade fair and just wanted to eat something quick in the evening. We happened to find Zampano and ate one of the tastiest pizzas ever! Tastes just like in Italy: thin, crispy dough, fluffy edge, super tasty topping. Perfect 👌

That was the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The pizza was baked in a stone oven that was fired with wood. Extremely delicious. The waiter was very friendly and competent and also had good wines ready. The menu wasn't that big, but the dishes were really tasty. The only thing you might have to consider. The store is very small and very crowded, but also very clean. We were really lucky to get a table and sat very close to other people. On the other hand, you could have a good chat with the others and it was a lot of fun. All in all, a very clear recommendation. Next time I'm in Frankfurt, I'll be back. :)

If you are looking for original Italian pizza with extremely good taste, you will find it here. Great variations and super friendly staff. Especially the waitress Gizem, that's how customer service works - keep it up. Among other things, we had the Pizza Larrostina, the Piccante and pistachio tiramisu - you should definitely try it.

We liked it better before (before Zampano), somehow everything was done on vocals. Unfortunately we didn't like the pizza either.

The best pizza here is the Piccante, but any other is also recommended. All ingredients come from the Hesse region and you can taste it too!! Can just be recommended. I've brought every friend here so far and everyone is thrilled. Small but nice!

Hardly recognizable after the renovation and with the new owner. Very nice staff. Many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Local ingredients. The pistachio tiramisu is awesome (without eggs and without alcohol)!

Zampano has become our regular restaurant. The food is great, from creative salads to unusual pizzas and organic drinks. The Zampano team is very friendly, but not intrusive. We will eat here often. Thank you dear Zampano team. I almost forgot: I ate the best tiramisu ever on Saturday and unfortunately didn't take a photo.
