We ate there for the first time with five people. The ambiance is beautiful, with subtle music and very friendly staff. We ordered a variety of dishes so we could try everything. The tandoori chicken tikka was the best. The best thing is that you can specify the spice level beforehand. From European mild to hellishly hot, there was everything :) The price was reasonable, too. We'll definitely be back :)

Very good food, but there were several inappropriate and impatient remarks, especially towards my disabled aunt, and unfortunately, the owner's overall behavior was totally rude and disrespectful. We loved the restaurant so much, but this left us speechless! We won't be coming here again.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Even friends from Bochum said there was no comparable one near them.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and ordered two vegetarian dishes and an appetizer (delivered). The food arrived quickly, hot, and plentiful. The dishes were pleasantly spicy and tasted excellent.

GREAT! Thank you... Zaika looked after and pampered our small wedding party. Another restaurant had stood us up, and the Zaika team accepted us with only 1.5 days' notice. Everything was prepared SUPERBLY. We were thrilled. Even though there were many other guests, we were taken care of exceptionally well. Another great thing: there were 15 of us, and the individual dishes arrived almost at the same time, so everyone could eat together. Compliments to the kitchen! We are 50 km away from Zaika... but we will definitely be back again. The house and especially the restaurant are chic and tastefully decorated. The food was delicious. Absolutely recommendable! I ordered three vegan dishes and they were perfect. All my special requests were accommodated, including no non-vegan sauce on the bread. The bread wasn't burnt (it's rare to find that when fried so well). Everything was labeled, hot, well-seasoned, and the ingredients were crisp and fresh. The food wasn't swimming in grease like at some other restaurants. The driver was friendly and courteous, and the delivery time was good. I'll be back whenever I'm in the area.

I’ve never had such terrible food in my life. The Mutton Lahori was absolutely tasteless, filled with huge chunks of onion, smelly lamb, and old rice. On top of that, the prices are ridiculously high for such low-quality food. Please don’t ever order from Zaika this was the worst food experience I’ve ever had!

It's worth the journey! If you like inspiration and not conformity, Zaika is the right place for you. The Naan Paneer actually had paneer - and not Emmental or something similar - filled with ginger etc. This bread alone was delicious, and the tomato sauce with it was simply amazing. Everything we ordered met this high standard! The Zaika convinced us because the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant and stylish in a great old building. We'll be back!

There were three of us who received a very friendly welcome, even though we hadn't made a reservation. Food was appetizingly prepared, very tasty, and also smelled very appetizing.

Very nice, loud atmosphere. But super tasty dishes. Tandoori highly recommended if you like eating meat. Parking situation a bit tense. You definitely have to wait a few minutes if you don't get one of the 7 parking spaces behind the restaurant.

The food is delicious, but Indian food is known to be very spicy and that was something that was missing. Additionally, just a request to provide water free of charge to those fasting :)

Stylish building, tastefully decorated. And the food is wonderful as ever.

I've never eaten Indian food before, so I don't have any comparison values. I personally and my other co-orderers really enjoyed the food, they had the butter chicken and the curry chicken. Ordered takeaway there today and waited a maximum of 15 minutes. 15 minute drive home and the food was perfectly warm to eat straight away.

Even after the move, the food and friendly atmosphere continued to be very tasty. The range has even expanded. Always my pleasure

Zaika has long been our favorite for authentic Indian food. We can confirm that after moving to Hagen Haspe, the quality of the food remains excellent. The dishes, like the Palak Paneer, are a delight in terms of taste – fresh, aromatic and perfectly seasoned. Unfortunately, however, the price has changed significantly. While the Palak Paneer still cost €11.50 in 2022 and most recently €13.50 in Hagen Kabel, the price is now €16.90. This is an increase that we find to be excessive even when taking into account rising costs in the catering industry. Overall, in our opinion, the price-performance ratio is no longer given at these sums. It's a shame because we've enjoyed visiting Zaika so far. For us, however, this means that we will be more likely to look for alternatives in the future. For those who don't care much about price, Zaika remains a place with first-class food - unfortunately not for us anymore.

I can only recommend the restaurant and the Tandoori Chicken Tikka. It was excellent, the fresh lemon was perfect and the meat was really tender and flavorful. Mango lassi and garlic naan also delicious. Quick note the restaurant is now at Haelenstrasse 52 in Haspe. Simply perfect all around. Thanks! 🤗

Excellent variety of dishes. Great original flavours. Good price. We had the mixed pakoras, the chicken korma and the butter chicken. They came with basmati rice and Naan bread. It was more than enough to even feed our toddler. At the end we ordered their new dessert Gulab Jaman and it was also very yummy. My Chai massala was very tasty as well.

If you like traditional Indian food and a family atmosphere, you should definitely stop by here! We were warmly welcomed by the landlady and immediately felt at home. From the tasty starter (Pakora - crispy baked vegetables) to the stylishly served main course with tender Chicken Madrasi to the deliciously fragrant Chai Masala at the end - simply delicious and high quality, and all at affordable prices. You can choose different levels of spiciness and receive good advice. The service is very friendly and attentive. The extensive menu (large selection of vegan dishes) has something for every palate. A delivery service is also available. We will definitely come back and try more dishes at Zaika! 😉

We ordered online, although a delivery time of 40-60 minutes was stated, the food arrived after about 25 minutes :) Everything was very tasty and still warm despite delivery. We will definitely order again or go to the restaurant!

We were there and took the food home with us. My son and I found the staff friendly and the food delicious. We will be back definitely!

We reserved a table there. Drinks are not exactly visible on the internet... It turned out on site that there wasn't even a beer, supposedly they didn't have permission for it, that would come in 2 weeks, which was a pure lie because the restaurant already existed real failure. Adjustment equals 0! Not recommended, you'll never see us there again!

I had two vegan starters: onions and mushrooms fried in chickpea flour with salad, three sauces and bread, for the main course I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and a vegan dish "Alu Ghobi" cauliflower with potatoes, onions, tomatoes in curry sauce with rice and bread Garnish. The dishes were beautifully presented and the service was very attentive.
