Zaddy's in Berlin

I had ordered a wholemeal Dürüm and had already paid for everything, including the tip. But instead of the product I had ordered, I was simply given a normal kebab - without asking or getting a discount. When I pointed out that I had ordered a wholemeal Dürüm, I was simply told that they were no longer available. I was not offered an alternative such as a normal Dürüm bread, although that would have been possible without any problem. I also did not get my money back for the price difference. As for the meal itself: The sauce was really delicious and I also liked the bread. But the meat was extremely fatty and full of gristle - absolutely not my taste. In addition, the shop was very cramped and loud, which did not make the meal particularly pleasant.

If its reputation doesn't live up to it, I would have imagined it differently :(

Totally disappointing!!! The music was way too loud TINITUS, and the shouting from the staff added to the chaos. They argued in Turkish because they had lost track of the orders. The floor was dirty, the tables were smeared with sauce, there was no system, total sensory overload. When we finally got our kebab for €7.50 each, it consisted mostly of salad and the meat wasn't fully cooked. The Cola Zero was cool and good :) , but that doesn't justify the rest. It was my first and last visit to Zaddy's. I cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. It's more like an Instagram shed, only go to the old school kebab babas.

Delicious kebab, various sauces to choose from, wholemeal or normal bread, very fresh salad. There was a lot of halloumi in the halloumi box. I didn't know that yet. The bread is very soft and yet crispy. Price 8 euros for kebab or box. It's totally fine for the quality! Waiting times can be longer, but that's okay because the people who work there don't let themselves get stressed out. :)

It might all look pretty nice from the outside. But that has little to do with good Berlin kebab. The main reason for this is the bad ingredients, which simply make the kebab taste like nothing. It was divine! We chose this fast food just after our visit to the zoo. The kebab is generous in meat (we chose beef) and garnishes. The server was very pleasant and funny. Fast service even though many people come to order! Go for it !

Good tasty kebab with lots of filling and yummy sauce. Price is good - 7euros for a kebab. They have chicken or beef . Friendly staff. Place is always busy so you can see the food is fresh. Limited spots to sit and eat, but most people stand and eat. They wrap the takeaway really well so it stays nice and warm.

I make my comment and score as someone who is used to lahmacun and döner in Turkey. We did not like the lahmacun very much because it tasted different from the taste we are used to in Turkey. Doner was better. In terms of price and materials, it is very good compared to Turkey. A lot of ingredients are used, both lahmacun and döner are ordered with salad ingredients. A good choice for Berlin without expecting the taste of Turkey 👍🏼

It is not recommended just a tourist attraction the services were nice but a bit overwhelmed in my opinion. I waited in line for 30 minutes and ended up leaving 9€ there, 7€ for a kebab (which is currently the standard price) plus 2€ for an ayran which was too expensive and small. The kebab was also too small in my opinion, it was dry and tasteless, the meat had hardly any seasoning and the sauce was non-existent and hardly any taste P.S. My order was a veal kebab with regular bread herb sauce* and salad complete except for Rothko.

It’s my first time in Berlin.. This is my second time trying Kebab in Berlin. The portion size and taste beyond my expectation. I ordered chicken meat - Kebab style. I loved how generous vegetable and meat inside my kebab bread. The proportion between veggies and meat is balance. I would say 1 portion is more than enough for 1 asian person. I think we also can order different type of bread beside the standard bread such as wholewheat bread. I just hope the meat portion can be more a bit considering 7 Euros price point. But, overall it was a good experience. Delicious food ! Thanks

Great store. The kebab was super, very tasty and fresh. Really clean and really professional. The employee Yunus Emre was completely friendly and funny. Doner kebab is ok, had veal to take away in the menu. Fries very poor and limp. But the worst thing is that there are 4 men behind the counter but only one kebab comes out every 2 minutes. I was a customer of Zaddys on Ku'damm in Berlin for many years. Since the location is unfortunately no longer open, I bought the kebab (now called sandwich) at Zaddys am Zoo and ate it there. Both chicken and meat doner is available and they serve it with different breads. Their bread is also very nice. The location is very close to the Berlin train station. Here, Zaddys benefits from the location advantage on the Ku’damm with many tourists and young TikTok people who are looking for the “doner kebab with love”. The Kaplan family is behind Zaddys and makes good kebabs. The service in front is sometimes subpar… rude and nothing with love. Since I usually go here during my lunch break and it's always quiet and without a line, the gentlemen behind the counter are still pretty unfriendly. Price for a kebab is €6 and for a “wrap” €7 aka Dürüm. I've been here three times now and don't need to come back.
