The worst kebab you'll ever eat, and they even forgot about the döner I ordered despite me asking three times!

They only accept cash. They might be trying to evade taxes. I won't be going back to that place.

The appetizer platter is absolutely amazing! And the meat dishes too. One of my favorite restaurants.

I used to often get dinner at Saray after work. Since I hardly ever carry cash anymore, it was always convenient that you could pay by card. That's no longer possible. Why? Are they trying to save on fees? Or cheat the tax office? Whatever. Fine, then.

We ate 5 pieces of baklava, had 1 cappuccino and 1 glass of ayran. Apparently it cost 17€. What a rip off ! I mean 1 piece of baklava is 2 euro ? It was nice but still I was completely shocked.

The food was tastier than I expected. Hatice Hanım was very friendly, attentive, and kind; I would like to thank her here. Despite being crowded, the food arrived quickly. I will definitely be coming here regularly from now on.

Everything was excellent, the service was superb, nothing could be better. All respect.

Best doner kebab I've had in Berlin for a long time. Finally, proper doner bread again. They even gave me a small tea on the house.

Today I wanted to eat a nice doner. I was at Wedding and I ate the best doner at Saray Restaurant. I ate a very delicious doner. Leaf doner, salad, fresh sauces are great.

I'll never go there again. It started off okay, although I had to repeat everything three times to the incompetent waitress before she understood. My order was then made incorrectly, as she insisted on "with a little hot sauce," even though I hadn't said anything about "little." I think that's because I look Aryan (?). Finally, we were asked if we wanted to pay together or separately, to which we replied separately THREE TIMES, and she still asked, "Together?" In the end, it even turned out that the card reader was supposedly broken, so I had to go to an ATM and pay a fee to pay for the halfway decent döner. Incidentally, there was no indication anywhere that card payments weren't accepted, which leads me to suspect it was a last-minute decision to evade taxes. Not recommended.

We highly recommend it! We met Osman on our way home. Osman, a very friendly, warm, and kind person, served us the best doner box with buttery rice. We'll definitely be back! Great value for money! Best regards, Marie and Mo :))

Our favorite kebab shop, we come there regularly to eat. Very friendly service, good food. The atmosphere is typical of a kebab shop, but that doesn't matter! All the dishes are delicious, and the kebab is made with meat pieces, whereas at other places it's more of a mixed bag!

The food is great, and the value for money is excellent. The interior could be nicer, but I'd still love to come back!

We've been eating the mixed Saray grill platter for two for years. It now costs €59. It includes bread, cold and hot appetizers, salad, a shared grill platter, a shared dessert, and Turkish coffee or tea. I think it's okay that the platter gets more expensive every year. After all, everything is getting more expensive these days. In the food sector, it's even more expensive than inflation. The quality of the appetizers was, as always, good. In my subjective opinion, the grill platter itself has become smaller and of lower quality. The skewers and Adana kebab were good. The köfte weren't great. There was also only one dessert; we had to pay extra for the second one. Overall, it was still okay. However, due to the decline in quality over the years, it's only satisfactory.

We are very disappointed. The way the food is served is completely wrong. My husband ordered a doner kebab meal deal with salad and rice. What happened? The salad was served with the appetizer. We hadn't even ordered an appetizer. Then the waiter put the salad and the other small items on the plate and said it was an appetizer. We assumed the salad was part of the appetizer. It wasn't. Later, my husband received his plate without salad. Why does a restaurant serve food so disorganized and incorrectly? I also received my fries first, and only later did I get my vegetarian doner kebab. The taste was mediocre. The price-performance ratio is not right. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.

The food is truly a disaster. Even the flies have invaded my food.

Restaurant was okay because of the location but i can not say same thing for food quality. I ordered Iskender but Iskender was not tasty beside it was very oily. As a Turkish citizen, Iskender is not like that and chef needs to learn how is Iskender looks like and cook. Waiter was very kind but service is not enough, if you deside to sell Iskender 17€, expectations are going to up who is coming to restaurant for dinner. As a summary, please do not order Iskender until they change the receipt of food.

Iskender is absolutely awful, with far too many flies and not enough hygiene. We went for Iskender, but they only put the fatty part of the meat on top, with two or three pieces of bread floating in tomato sauce, and they charge 17 euros for it. They say it's called döner kebab, but unfortunately, it tasted like döner kebab made with ground meat. I don't recommend it at all. The soup is worth it, but I doubt it's worth 7 euros.

I had the iskembe soup and döner kebab here yesterday. They were all delicious. Osman, in particular, is very friendly and talented. I recommend it to anyone who wants to go.

Absolutely outrageous! Two small doner kebab boxes for €15 were completely overpriced, and then they were inedible. The meat was raw, a total health nuisance; we had to throw it all away. Offering something like that is irresponsible! The place is a disaster and definitely not recommended.

I ordered the Iskender Kebap with Döner meat on pita bread, served with yogurt, tomato, and butter sauce, along with a homemade Ayran. First, the bread was served, and then the main dish with the meat followed shortly after. Personally, the portion of meat was quite generous, maybe even too much for one person to finish alone. I wrapped up the meal with the Ayran, which was a perfect ending. The interior of the restaurant is fairly spacious, and the staff who took my order was very friendly. It’s a bit far from where I live, so I can’t visit often, but if it were closer, I’d definitely come here regularly!

Meanwhile the quality of food has come down. I used to go there often before 2020.

Top food. Huge selection on the menu. Very large restaurant, which also has a summer garden in summer. Always freshly prepared food. Service nice. Cleanliness in the shop and in the toilet facilities, very clean. Highly recommended. Price-performance ratio is fair.

Unfortunately, the restaurant had extremely long wait times and was understaffed. Plus, a waiter who constantly forgot to take orders or ask for payment. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. The food was okay, but not nearly worth the price.

Very bad restaurant!!!! A filthy place, very unhygienic, not even soap in the toilet. Scratchy chairs and dirty turntables. I ordered a doner kebab with potatoes, but instead got rice with two potatoes and dry, cold, oily meat. The food arrived after 40 minutes. I got rice pudding with a little greasy rice. The prices are completely unreasonable! The waiter is arrogant and wanted my number! A ICE-COLD RIP-OFF! BEWARE, RIP-OFF! Never again!!!!

The adanar plate wasn't a real adanar plate, it didn't taste good and the dessert was unbearable, you couldn't eat either one and for the prices it wasn't worth it, I don't recommend anything from this restaurant, better not to go there

The doner kebab box was terrible. I said a doner kebab box, he gave me a small thing. I said a large one, please. He said it was already big. I thought he was kidding me or something. The meat was raw and salty, too greasy, you couldn't even hold the box in your hand because it was so greasy. Fries were also terrible, as if it had just been lying there for half a year.

I was very disappointed. I was so hungry and just wanted to eat something. An hour later I got the worst stomach ache of my life. I couldn't walk straight anymore.

We were there on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. We got a table right away. The staff was friendly. We ordered two doner kebabs. The lavash bread came with cheese and bread, plus a salad. Everything was good and tasty. Shortly after, the doner kebab arrived, supposedly made of veal. The meat was very light and, after being cut, had a shape that veal (sütdana) doesn't look like. It was a mixture of turkey and chicken, which you could tell from the fat. When I asked if it was a poultry doner, the waiter said they only served veal doner. It was a poultry doner, and it was good. However, I went there because they advertised a yaprak doner made with veal. At the end, they also offered free çay/tea.

Food has really good quality. Best hummus that I tried so far in Berlin. Durum kebap 100% recommended, just with a bit pf extra sauce.

Friendly staff, but the food wasn't worth the price. It's less about the taste than the quantity. It was the smallest dürüm I've ever had in Berlin.

The furnishings are very worn, the meat at Adana Kebab was rancid, and you don't even get a bill. I won't be going there again.

Big disappointment, not like before I've been a customer for years and have always appreciated this restaurant: generous portions, fresh bread on the side, parsley with onions, aromatic rice, and an overall harmonious experience. This time, unfortunately, it was completely different. The portion was small, the side dishes were almost nonexistent, and one of the "chops" was simply a piece of boneless lamb. When I mentioned this, I got the response: "That's the end of the chop." But: A boneless chop isn't a chop. And that's not how you talk to a paying customer. Even the rice, which used to be my absolute favorite, is now just plain buttered rice, tasteless and boring. If you don't even listen to loyal guests, you shouldn't be surprised by declining customer numbers. I won't be coming back. 📸 The photos speak for themselves.

There's a discrepancy between the price per minute and the price when you order. Never order online or over the phone. Neo Taste prices aren't up-to-date either.

The place is okay. The plate i ordered was iskender kebap. The quantity was good however it was a oily. I also ordered rise pudding which had a lot of rose water and was not fresh

Unfortunately the food wasn't quite to our taste but it was ok, you sit there very nicely and the service is very nice and very accommodating!

The evening after-work kebab is often approved there. The last one, however, was a pure disappointment. Anything but the culinary revelations you would expect.

Before the pandemic, food was ordered locally in Turkish, and a Kurdish employee told me that I should order in German, whereupon I ordered in German, but the employee didn't understand me. So what now? Only learn to read German when someone orders from you without onions and without red cabbage...is it so difficult? You've really slacked off!!!!YOU SHOULD BE SHAME ON YOURSELF!!!!!! New status: you keep delivering the kebab with onions and red cabbage, your kebab tastes just great...!!!!

We love this place! It's a perfect family restaurant. Sure, we had to get to know the waiters, but now, we're always welcomed with warm smiles and super speedy service. They're always accommodating, and willing to go that extra mile for the children's orders. So far, all the food has always been delicious, and for vegetarians, it's a wonderful plus! We definitely recommend it.

A pro-regime business — stay away and don’t be complicit.

I will never go there again during Ramadan. I ordered 2 large dishes for my family. Only cutlery was served, no plates. Other orders were partially served. In the end I had to pay over €100 without seeing a receipt. Too bad 😔

I was back at Saray last Thursday, after a long time, I felt like I was at home again with this sooo nice, friendly, competent staff, I wanted to sit on the terrace, enjoy my first spring warm meal, immediately, lovely staff, Mr. Marathon, and the boss, Mr. Ali, so warmly, picked out pillows for me, fast service, with strong drinks, nice conversations, lots of laughs , had fun , and so delicious 😋 again the food , wonderful , I felt so warmly served by all the lovely staff , looked after like a little oldie princess , I'm always very enthusiastic about this very homely place , with a delicious large selection of dishes, delicious food , I don't need a trip , the nicest one has everything I want in Saray , I can only warmly ,and I travel a lot, I would recommend this great restaurant Saray to everyone, just say thank you

Disappointing experience at Saray Saray used to be one of my favorite restaurants - but my last visit was a disaster. Right from the start I was given a dirty fork with leftover food. When I had it replaced, I was still hoping for an improvement. But then I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food, while other guests who came after me had long since been served. When my food finally came, the chicken was still raw. That was the point for me where I gave the plate back and just wanted to leave. When I asked for the bill, the waiter offered me a 5% discount - instead of genuinely apologizing or just charging for the drinks. That showed me: It's not about the guest, it's just about the money. I definitely won't be coming back. Anyone who values ​​cleanliness, service and quality should give this restaurant a wide berth.

I buy Döner every time I come to Berlin, but the person who took my order that day was so unfriendly that I felt bad. While ordering, an elderly man with me corrected his order due to a lack of understanding, and the staff seemed to be annoyed by that, so they talked to each other in their own language so that no one could understand. In the end, the man left curtly and another young staff member took care of the packaging. We all eventually grow old. People who don't eat often may not understand the menu. Young children, people with disabilities, or foreigners may have difficulty expressing themselves verbally. Are you going to get angry every time that happens? The taste is average and the food portion is large.

Really really tasty. And a really cheap price! Had halloumi in bread with everything. Nice. And now that I was there it wasn't crowded so it went quickly. Everything is great. Probably one of the best kebabs in Berlin. And I have always lived in Berlin.

A few years ago I happened to be in Wedding with my girlfriend and then spontaneously went to the Saray restaurant on Müllerstr. I was very satisfied with the food, starting with the soups, salads, grilled dishes and sweets. The waiters were also very friendly and discreet. The toilet was also very clean ❗️. The only problem for a couple in love is the noise in the area around Müllerstrasse, the many ambulances with loud sirens because of the Virchow hospital nearby. Parking options are also very difficult or with parking fees ⭕️ But inside the Saray Restaurant it is still quiet and harmonious. Es war Zufallig angefangen der besuch.Seit 3.Jahren gehe ich und meine Freundin gerne zu Saray.Suppen, Salate Grillgerichte und Nachspeisen alles TOP.WC İst auch Sauber und gepflegt.Einziger Nachteil von Saray ist die Lautstärke der Umgebung der Müllerstr und die Ambulanzwagen die Ständig Siren Heilen wegen der Nähe zum Krankenhaus Virchow. 🇹🇷🇩🇪Dankeschön Teşekkürler 🇩🇪🇹🇷
