Saray in Berlin

We love this place! It's a perfect family restaurant. Sure, we had to get to know the waiters, but now, we're always welcomed with warm smiles and super speedy service. They're always accommodating, and willing to go that extra mile for the children's orders. So far, all the food has always been delicious, and for vegetarians, it's a wonderful plus! We definitely recommend it.

A pro-regime business — stay away and don’t be complicit.

I will never go there again during Ramadan. I ordered 2 large dishes for my family. Only cutlery was served, no plates. Other orders were partially served. In the end I had to pay over €100 without seeing a receipt. Too bad 😔

I was back at Saray last Thursday, after a long time, I felt like I was at home again with this sooo nice, friendly, competent staff, I wanted to sit on the terrace, enjoy my first spring warm meal, immediately, lovely staff, Mr. Marathon, and the boss, Mr. Ali, so warmly, picked out pillows for me, fast service, with strong drinks, nice conversations, lots of laughs , had fun , and so delicious 😋 again the food , wonderful , I felt so warmly served by all the lovely staff , looked after like a little oldie princess , I'm always very enthusiastic about this very homely place , with a delicious large selection of dishes, delicious food , I don't need a trip , the nicest one has everything I want in Saray , I can only warmly ,and I travel a lot, I would recommend this great restaurant Saray to everyone, just say thank you

Disappointing experience at Saray Saray used to be one of my favorite restaurants - but my last visit was a disaster. Right from the start I was given a dirty fork with leftover food. When I had it replaced, I was still hoping for an improvement. But then I had to wait over 30 minutes for my food, while other guests who came after me had long since been served. When my food finally came, the chicken was still raw. That was the point for me where I gave the plate back and just wanted to leave. When I asked for the bill, the waiter offered me a 5% discount - instead of genuinely apologizing or just charging for the drinks. That showed me: It's not about the guest, it's just about the money. I definitely won't be coming back. Anyone who values ​​cleanliness, service and quality should give this restaurant a wide berth.

I buy Döner every time I come to Berlin, but the person who took my order that day was so unfriendly that I felt bad. While ordering, an elderly man with me corrected his order due to a lack of understanding, and the staff seemed to be annoyed by that, so they talked to each other in their own language so that no one could understand. In the end, the man left curtly and another young staff member took care of the packaging. We all eventually grow old. People who don't eat often may not understand the menu. Young children, people with disabilities, or foreigners may have difficulty expressing themselves verbally. Are you going to get angry every time that happens? The taste is average and the food portion is large.

Really really tasty. And a really cheap price! Had halloumi in bread with everything. Nice. And now that I was there it wasn't crowded so it went quickly. Everything is great. Probably one of the best kebabs in Berlin. And I have always lived in Berlin.

I was here on February 9th, 2025 and ordered a doner kebab. I have to say this was the best I've ever eaten. Sufficiently large, super nice service, everything was really great! Definitely 10/10.

A few years ago I happened to be in Wedding with my girlfriend and then spontaneously went to the Saray restaurant on Müllerstr. I was very satisfied with the food, starting with the soups, salads, grilled dishes and sweets. The waiters were also very friendly and discreet. The toilet was also very clean ❗️. The only problem for a couple in love is the noise in the area around Müllerstrasse, the many ambulances with loud sirens because of the Virchow hospital nearby. Parking options are also very difficult or with parking fees ⭕️ But inside the Saray Restaurant it is still quiet and harmonious. There was almost no meat in the kebab, the bread wasn't even warmed up briefly

Es war Zufallig angefangen der besuch.Seit 3.Jahren gehe ich und meine Freundin gerne zu Saray.Suppen, Salate Grillgerichte und Nachspeisen alles TOP.WC İst auch Sauber und gepflegt.Einziger Nachteil von Saray ist die Lautstärke der Umgebung der Müllerstr und die Ambulanzwagen die Ständig Siren Heilen wegen der Nähe zum Krankenhaus Virchow. 🇹🇷🇩🇪Dankeschön Teşekkürler 🇩🇪🇹🇷

Meat fatty, sinewy and tough. Fries just dirt. Service unfriendly and impatient. Anyone who just wants a simple kebab box with salad and fries with kebab sauce will be bullied. The one star is because there is cinnamon popcorn in the cinema opposite.

Write vegetable kebab and you get salad in bread. The kebab man still feels offended when you ask.

Always top quality, great service and good prices for years! The grill plate and Roman pot were super tasty, the rice was great, 2 different types of rice, both very tasty. The bread alone is worth a detour, with cheese and butter and tea on the side!

Was there again last night. Actually a great restaurant. Unfortunately, something has become neglected and dingy. I had to increase my tolerance. But the soup and hummus were excellent.

The three of us were there in the evening and ate Adana, falafel and classic kebab. The service was very polite and our food was absolutely fine.

Today we got 2 kebabs. The meat was really tough and fatty and the sauce was just a little drizzled on top. Unfortunately, these were the worst kebabs we've ever had.

Unfortunately the Seitan kebab was very disappointing.🙄 For €6.80 I would have expected a little more than just two small half slices of Seitan, cut in half like a slice of sausage. 🫣 For a small piece of bread with some salad and the Seitan you're looking for, really not recommended. Promisingly touted and very disappointed.🙂‍↕️ I know the store can do without me, but I can do without hot air too. Too bad.....🤷🏾‍♀️

I ordered a kebab. The meat was fatty and rubbery. It was disgusting. I've never had such a bad kebab before and left almost everything behind. You also have to pay €6.90 for this The Cola tasted good.

The food itself was delicious, but the staff was too overwhelmed. A vegan tried to sell a meat kebab and forgot the fries in the kebab box 👎

Last Friday we were at Saray again after all these years. Unfortunately we weren't noticed by the service staff for a long time, so we had to report it ourselves, no problem, it happens to the best waiters. We ordered 2 grill plates to eat and they were great 👍 As a starter there was a kind of bread with cheese and butter, also very tasty. If we're ever in the area again, we'd be happy to do it again :).

Today we had the mixed grill plate for two people, consisting of salad, starters, a grill plate and a dessert. The salad was appealing and the dressing tasted convincing. The starters, however, left a lot to be desired. The hummus was flat in flavor and lacked garlic, while the yogurt dip was so acidic that we returned it as it tasted spoiled. The rest of the starters were also unconvincing. The grill plate was also disappointing as the meat didn't taste fresh and was poorly seasoned. Only the Adana spit was successful. The side dishes were carelessly prepared and there were no vegetables. The dessert, Künefe, was just warmed up and dripping in rose water. The service was also inadequate. Instead of cleaning the table before serving dessert and tea, it took ten minutes for the plates to be cleared. Dessert and tea were then served on the dirty table. The restaurant urgently needs to work on itself. Overall: 3.5/10 👎🏾

We always used to get kebab there, it was always good. The meat in the kebab has been terrible for some time now. It's gristly, lots of fat, it's gross to eat. We tried it a few times because we thought it was an exception. It's a shame, we'll look for another store.

One of the best stores in Berlin, no frills and very good quality. Recommended: Iskender Bursa Art (see photo) and the lamb chops were great. The starter is a freshly baked fluffy flatbread with butter and cheese. A piece of Türkiye in Wedding.

It's a good restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. We were really happy with this experience and I should say the price is good too. they bring us fresh bread and delicious cheese and butter as an appetizer and salad, and all included in our meal prices, we don't pay extra for that! ☺️👍

Ate kebab there yesterday. A white flesh is suspicious. Me and my boyfriend both have stomach pains. I don't recommend it. We come from Stuttgart. There is real quality here in contrast to Saray. They say Berlin is where the kebab comes from, but we were very disappointed.

Online reservation was not confirmed and had to be requested by phone, the back restaurant area looked like a warehouse, some dishes on the menu could not be ordered (e.g. food for 2 people), food was served incompletely (e.g. fried potatoes, bread, etc. were missing. ), dishes were insufficiently seasoned and grilled meat did not taste freshly prepared (heated in the microwave!), waiters had to be searched repeatedly. For the high prices there: Not justified. Avoid the store. It's a shame what happened to Saray.

I ordered Lahmacun to take away from the unfriendly employee. Arrived home (5 minutes) unpacked and lo and behold, the Turkish pizza was just dough!!!! How can you roll a fresh lahmacun in aluminum foil.... without words. Never again.

Unfortunately, the store has declined significantly in recent years. It's a shame, because this was one of my favorite restaurants for a quick meal in between.

The last time I was in Saray was years ago. Since I spontaneously wanted to buy a kebab today, I thought you'd go there, you can't go wrong. The veal is far too thick, a kebab machine cuts the rubbery meat. The sauces are boring. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I will definitely not visit this kebab shop again.

We ate at Saray Restaurant today. It's really bad with its food. The food looked very bad, it was cold, there were five fries on it and they didn't even bring bread to the table. So I would consider eating with them again. I don't believe.

There's more than just a great kebab here. Saray is a restaurant that serves all kinds of Turkish specialties. It is often very busy in the evenings. In summer you can sit outside, although the intersection is very noisy. It's worth a visit.
