Yuzu Ramen East Side Mall in Berlin

Tonkotsu ramen was very good. Broth was tasty and rich and ramen noodles were better than some ramen shops here in Berlin.

First the order was taken incorrectly (the same dish was requested twice), then we waited far too long for the food at lunchtime (without a queue). One of them was cold...

I had dumplings as a starter and the chicken udon noodles as a main course. Both were incredibly delicious. There was a small misunderstanding when ordering. When I received my food something was missing, I pointed it out and it was cooked for me in a friendly and quick way :) I am very satisfied and can recommend everyone to visit YUZU Ramen.

The food was just warmed up and not freshly prepared. Service: Order was accepted with headphones.

Japanese noodle soup with a twist

I can't recommend it. Unfortunately not good. Bland broth with an almost strange taste, boring noodles that you can also get at Lidl, and quite a small portion for the price (€10.90). It's just a "mall restaurant"... Too bad.

When I wanted to order, first, I was being ignored for a solid 5 minutes. When I finally got the food, it was immediately disappointing. The broth was bland, the noodles didn't really have any taste. It was supposed to be cheese ramen but I only had a chunk of permesan in one spot and that's it. Also it really just wasn't good, I got bloated and had a bellyache for the rest of the evening which I never do when eating ramen.

Amazing ramens. The taste was very well balanced. It was less salty, which is good, but some people might see it as a problem if they're used to salty junk food.

We got ramen and flavor was just right, not too much salt (as is often the case elsewhere). Reminded me ramen’s is Japan

In the world of gastronomy, it's important to continuously discover new flavors and broaden one's taste horizons. That's why my visit today took me to Yuzu Ramen, a restaurant dedicated to the art of Japanese noodle soup. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the beautifully presented bowl - a promising start, I thought. Unfortunately, the taste experience could not live up to the visuals. The broth was bland and uninteresting, almost artificial. The lack of nuances made the dish one-dimensional, imparting an undefined flavor that was far from reminiscent of Japan's delicacies. The ramen noodles also fell short. They were slightly too soft and missed the typical, characteristic taste one would expect from a good ramen soup. The result was more of a taste disappointment than a journey to Japan or even Asia. The side dishes were passable but not outstanding. The gyoza were somewhat too dark on one side but overall acceptable. The Tori Karaage, on the other hand, were satisfactory and managed to elicit at least a little pleasure. In summary, I cannot speak of a successful culinary exploration. Yuzu Ramen failed to whisk me away on a journey to Japan and thus fell short of its claim. It's a shame because the potential for an authentic taste experience is there, yet it remains untapped.

Ganz leckere Ramen, nur eben im Foodbereich einer Mall. Wem das Ambiente egal ist, der findet hier sehr feine Ramengerichte.

I should have read the reviews before ordering. One of the worst poke bowls I ever had: hard frozen avocado pieces, really smelly salmon and lots of salad leaves and carrot. Even the rice does not taste good. Avoid at all costs.

Authentische Ramen. Nudeln waren bissfest, die Brühe hätte etwas kräftiger sein können. Die Fleischscheiben sind etwas wenig. Das Highlight war das Ei, das wachsweich und wahrscheinlich in Sojasoße eingelegt war. Der Preis ist für Ramen schon gehoben.

This is not Japanese Ramen. It's like a cup noodle for me. (I'm japanese)

I never ate more disgusting ramen in my life than this. If any real japanese would call that a ramen, they would "seppuku" themself. Shame for the wonderful japanese culture. I had a tonkotsu-ramen and it didn't look like the one on the pictures. The soup had an awful taste. The chashu had the consistancy of a gum and didn't had the characteristics of a real chashu. The only thing in the bowl that tasted like itself, was the fresh onsion, the shiitake shrooms and the marinaded eggs. I couldn't bring myself to eat anymore of this dishwater, if so I would've vomited my guts out.

Good noodles, very tasty broth and pork!

Habe noch nie so leckere Nudeln gegessen. Ein ganz besonderer Geschmack. Zubereitung war frisch, Preis (9 €) ok.

Weird taste. They just mix different sauces to ‘cook’ the soup.

Ist schon eine Weile her, aber ich war damals überrascht, wie gut die Ramen in einer Mall sein können. Und ich war in Japan und kenne das dortige Niveau.
