We had to leave. We had a reservation, but it was completely overbooked. There was a long line with people and groups who all had reservations. What a shame.

Really great shop. The ramen tastes very good and is filling. There is a lot to choose from (vegetarian, spicy, various meats). Everyone will find something there. The service was very courteous and you didn't have to wait long for your order. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. Really highly recommended. The only point of criticism would be that, in my opinion, there could be a little more when it comes to drinks. Two/Three cocktails would be fantastic, although the homemade lemonade is also delicious.

We ordered Tan Tan and Miso soup and it was not tasty. Especially Miso smells so bad and we couldnt eat it. The waiters was kind but food is not recommended.

I went to the Hako Ramen Restaurant and I really enjoyed it. I had the Tantan Shashu dish, beef gyosa, and it was super cool. The combination of the sesame and miso broth was perfect. I tend to be more of a miso person, but I really enjoyed this too. The shashu, oh my god, it was so tender. Wow, it was simply expertly prepared. The service was always friendly, very attentive, and nice. I was just lucky that I got there pretty early and was able to snag a table without any problems. When the weather is sunny, it's also beautiful here in Prenzlauer Berg because the trees are blooming like spring. I'd love to come back and recommend it to everyone.

Conclusion: Very tasty ramen and super nice staff Pros: - Small, clear map - vegetarian and vegan options - Delicious food - Very friendly staff - Food came very quickly - Short-term reservation possible - Clean toilets Cons: - Only cash payment possible In detail: After our arrival in Berlin, we spontaneously looked for a location for dinner. Despite the decent number of guests, you could reserve an hour in advance. When we arrived we found a pleasantly short but sufficiently varied menu (including vegetarian/vegan options). We had the homemade lemonade, kimchi, edamame, gyoza and two beef tantanmen. The food came quickly and was very tasty. The Tantanmen in particular were extremely seasoned and the consistency of the ice cream was on point! The toilets were also neat and clean. The prices were fair, our orders came to €54. The only point of criticism and a star deduction for this is that only cash payment is possible. In my opinion this is out of date. To be fair, we were given several suggestions as to where we could withdraw money.

The location is great in the center of Prenzlauer. The decoration is very simple but very cosy Japanese style. They have a selection of 9 ramens, with many appetisers. It’s a good ramen but for the price they should put more ingredients on top… also you have to pay CASH

We were given good and friendly advice and finally decided on ramen with rolled pork. There is also a lot for children. Breaded juicy chicken pieces and mules. This also appeals to kids who are less keen to experiment. We'll be back!

Unfortunately a failure. I wanted to go out for dinner with 2 colleagues and was looking forward to Japanese ramen, but I hadn't researched thoroughly enough when choosing the unknown restaurant. Instead of a Japanese restaurant, it's a Thai fake shop. I have nothing against Thai food, except when someone tries to sell me a peanut-flavored Thai soup as Japanese. It started with relatively tasteless beef gyoza and then continued with said peanut soup that was sold as beef tantan. The taste was even acceptable for a Thai soup, compared to real Japanese ramen with its subtle flavors, although extremely modest. In Japanese ramen places, "beef" usually gives you nice strips of beef. Some minced meat, which can only be recognized as a trace element, was sprinkled in here. There was no taste other than peanuts. As I said: nothing against Thai cuisine, but if it says "Japan" on it, it shouldn't have "Thai" in it! The staff was friendly and quick. Tables and stools are only reasonably comfortable for people under 1.65 m tall.

Everything was really delicious. Delicious broth, noodles in the right place. I found the environment just a little cramped, but nothing that got in the way of my experience.
