Yummy! in Kiel

I really liked the concept of Yummy "All you can eat". You can vary as you like from the wide range of sushi and other dishes in small portions. Orders are placed on a tray at the table. The dishes are then served promptly by the attentive and friendly staff. At the same time, you can also help yourself to fresh products at attractive buffet stations. The furnishings are pleasantly modern and you can have a good time.

There is no better sushi than at Yummy. I'm driving from Lower Saxony to my home town of Kiel to have an all-you-can-eat meal there. If I could, I would come by once a week 😋

The selection is really extensive, almost everyone should be able to find something here. The service was good, we were seated quickly, unfortunately the corner where we sat seemed to be a kind of storage of chairs, some of which were in the way of people leaving the table.

Very tasty restaurant with good service. The All You Can Eat is excellent and the food is all very tasty. If you sit in the middle, the atmosphere is a little louder. Dogs are also allowed.

My food came straight away but my wife had to wait a whole, unbelievable, unbeatable 45 minutes for her food. She was starving right before my eyes. Shortly before the end, after another complaint, she received her food. Simply unbelievable...😵‍💫 The food that was served ended up being very tasty for my wife and me.👍 (not recommended)

Cool all-you-can-eat concept. There is not a large buffet, but you can order the things you want as often as you want using your tablet.

I've been a regular customer for years, ever since I was at the triangle place, even during Corona times we ordered out of the house and made the 40km journey because your sushi was unmistakably delicious! Over the past year, I have repeatedly pulled myself together and given your restaurant a chance again and again. Yesterday I was there for the last time. It's understandable that restaurants have to increase prices, but that's not an issue. However, you can't reduce the selection of sushi by half - I'm not exaggerating! And even the sushi rolls that are still available - small, dry and really carelessly prepared and served on dirty plates. Your "new" sushi buffet is with all due respect, but in my opinion that doesn't save you. Man, it hurts my heart, I loved your sushi so much. I wish you all the best!

I've been there once on a recommendation. Delicious. I think it's a shame that you have to pick up the food yourself. When I was there there weren't many guests but when the restaurant was full there would be a constant buzzing and noise from this vibrating pager somewhere. I personally find it a bit difficult. Apart from that, a clear recommendation from me 👍🏼

Food was great, staff quickly seemed overwhelmed. Ordering with the iPad works well, but not everything always came as ordered, but it would be delivered if asked.

I still find the sushi and all the dishes very tasty. I find the bedside buffet unspectacular. I find the employees to be attentive and friendly. The restaurant and the toilets seem very clean to me. Unfortunately, the price for the all you can eat is continually rising. The map is getting smaller and smaller. On our last visit we were “only” there at 5:20 p.m., and the actually very nice buffet was already robbed. Unfortunately it was only sparsely replenished. It wasn't properly refilled again until 7 p.m. for the next time slot. So beautiful. Unfortunately our time was up at 7:15 p.m. and we had eaten our fill from the menu. Also tasty, but not like the buffet. I think this sushi is too chilled and the nori sheets are a bit dried out. Really a shame given the price. Okay, we'll come less often now and on time next time. Then it's great again. A visit to Yummy is still a highlight for me. I've been waiting for the new take away for a year. Or even longer? Be careful in the cold season! I bring a blanket with me because I'm freezing there.

Never again. I'm sorry, but that's not possible. Little choice and completely overpriced at €35 for all-you-can-eat. I just found the quality of the food to be bad. Maybe we were just unlucky. There were only a few guests there. There was no service. They didn't even understand us. My complaint was not addressed in any way.

Top, food, service and quality are right. Price is a bit very steep (34€) I think it's almost cheeky without drinks, but at least a glass of water for free. Still, a welcome drink, even if it was just water, would be nice. The selection is good and it's great that you order it on a tray and it's brought to your table, but there could also be more selection. Gladly again.

Nice shop, very modern, with an interesting concept and really tasty dishes

This sushi restaurant in Kiel is particularly known for its all-you-can-eat menu. It is advisable to make a reservation on weekends as the store is often fully booked. The food is tasty, the service sometimes seems a bit reserved, but overall it deserves 4 out of 5 stars.

YUMMY! was always worth a trip for me. Unfortunately the store has gotten worse and worse over the last 2 years. Today the wild journey began with the desperate search for a crew member who could speak German to ask about certain ingredients in the food. We had the pleasure of sitting on the terrace, which is more fragile and full of holes than a sunken pirate ship. The “sushi” began with an odyssey of cold salmon & warm cucumber maki on dirty plates. We continued with the “Chicken Bites” which consisted ONLY of breading. Cold, of course. The crowning glory was chicken pieces that were seasoned with curry and refined with peanut sauce and fried onions. The meal ended with sticky ones Meringue, hard pineapple & Haribos finished. The fine kitchen was washed down with 0.33l of Cola-Zero, at prices that would make you think it could cure cancer. In the foreseeable future, I'll give the store another chance, if the condition hasn't changed, then it will be the last time.

The orders come quickly. Sushi is not cold. There is almost only breading in the breaded chicken bits. Maybe we should focus more on quality again rather than continuing with an all-you-can-eat assembly line. Unfortunately, the sushi from the delivery service tastes better.

Unfortunately very disappointing… used to be here regularly a few years ago and it has drastically decreased…. The sushi is warm, the fried chicken has no meat in it, the plates were dirty (leftover sauce), there are clear communication difficulties when there are "complaints", it's best to take the clean dishes yourself... and unfortunately this continues throughout the entire restaurant . We won't come here anymore.

The “fried noodles” tasted like spaghetti that had been briefly next to the soy sauce. The fish in sushi seems to be portioned more and more economically. The selection of food that can be ordered is getting smaller and smaller. At the same time, the price was increased again by one euro. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio no longer fits. It's ok, not many dishes that can be seen here as a photo, there are no more of the interesting things, you can only order one then the price, the menu is quite small, the dishes that are supposed to be hot are lukewarm about 50 degrees then the price stranded 50e per person is a huge deal, I won't be coming back

It was a great evening with great food, great drinks and top service. The ambience is not the usual cliché but is pleasantly chic with small accessories that don't overwhelm you. It was a great evening, I will definitely go again.

Food: it was definitely better. The selection has been minimized since the last visit. The taste of the rice is no longer intense. And the appearance of the sushi rolls is poor. I've been to yummies several times and unfortunately I have to say that the quality has become really bad. For the price it is not recommended. Service: was okay. We got the wrong food 3 times. And the waiter at the end lied. I asked the question whether the selection has been minimized. He denied this. He also said that the sushi bar (where you can grab sushi while waiting) is new. The sushi bar has been around for a long time. Ambiance: is satisfactory. Could offer more space for eating. Unfortunately, I have to say that for the price (€33.90/all you can eat) Yummy is no longer worth it. A pity.

Mein letzter Besuch ist schon einige Jahre her gewesen und wenngleich das Konzept etwas modernisiert (Bestellung via Tablet) und angepasst wurde (es gibt jetzt zusätzlich auch ein kleines Buffet mit deftigen und süßen Speisen) hat das dem Restaurant in keinster Weise geschadet; im Gegenteil. Ich habe mich gefreut ein paar Gerichte wieder zu finden und andere neue kennenzulernen. Wir waren sehr angetan von den keinen Portionen und davon, dass es vollständige Gerichte im "Miniformat" gibt. Mein Partner hat sich auch besonders darüber gefreut, dass es nicht nur Sushi gibt, sondern auch asiatische kleine Teilchen angeboten werden. So kann man sich wirklich durchprobieren! Unsere Bedienung war zudem sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und wird haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Einzig der Preis ist definitiv eher überdurchschnittlich.

We recommend. Not cheap but very tasty. The selection of different sushi is great. The selection of other dishes is also great. There is something for every taste. We were a bit disappointed. The many positive reviews promised a lot. Ordering via tablet is modern, contemporary and also intuitive - fortunately. The explanations of the process were somewhat difficult to understand due to a lack of language skills. The bowls and plates are put down as you walk past without even being looked at. Sushi is mostly very dry and tasteless. Unfortunately. It's also disappointing that fresh chives are advertised in the pictures, but dried ones were used. To give just one example. The location itself was attractive despite the plexiglass partitions.

Yummi is a modern Asian restaurant. The all-you-can-eat menu here includes sushi, among other things. You order your food from a tray and seven dishes are brought to the table. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy at our table because we were sitting in the middle of the restaurant and conversations were coming from all sides. We will still come back

Really tasty and the service is great

A very large restaurant, which was a bit too loud and restless for us. The selection overall was good, but everything was actually more quantity for us. Everything seemed rather cheap to us. I don't consider simple diced sponge cake bases to be a dessert. Fine dining is on the Internet. This certainly means something different than crowds of people in front of the sushi buffet. On the homepage it sounded as if everything was being brought to the table. That wasn't the case because given the size and crowd it wouldn't be quick enough to eat a lot. That's why we just went to the buffet. It was nice, but certainly not upscale. The service was good. But for us, just being here once was enough.

The concept is cool, there is a tray where you order and it doesn't take long for the ordered mini portions to arrive and enjoy. The selection is good and the taste is very tasty. You can easily spend a few hours there.

We have been regular customers for several years and always like to come back because the food is really tasty and thanks to the great organization of the service staff, it arrives at the table super quickly. Everyone is very friendly and even people who don't speak great German get a job here and learn it over time! In our opinion, this must definitely be supported. Interesting concept. Modern atmosphere with lots of privacy at the table. Great sushi selection with A1 quality and taste. You can order food from a tray to the table and it will be served freshly prepared by the waiter. This will be my favorite restaurant for Asian cuisine from now on.

A slightly different Asian restaurant. All you can eat in tapas form. Always order 5 portions per person until you are full. Dessert with fruit and snacks are available for self-service. Sometimes you order something and it doesn't get delivered, even if you order it several times. If something is wrong, maybe you should give a hint. Hence a star deduction. And I now have to deduct two more stars because a reservation for a birthday is not possible. It was only offered for 3 hours, either from 5-7pm or from 7pm onwards. Not suitable for a birthday. Otherwise it always worked, but now you don't want guests sitting there all evening. And the capacity would have been there. It's a shame, I probably won't visit the restaurant again. We tried it again and were disappointed. The quality has deteriorated alarmingly and the selection has been extremely shortened. Price-performance ratio is definitely no longer given. A pity.

We had a relaxing evening at Yummys. As always, the service was friendly and attentive. Personally, the walls bother me, although I can understand it. Still, it takes away from the ambience. We weren't 100% satisfied with the quality today, but the 30-minute drive was still worth it.

Well: no one goes here for the food, because it is mediocre in taste and quality. And then the hefty price for a lot of rice with vegetables and very small portions of meat or fish: the buffet would be worth a maximum of €20 instead of the €33 per person charged Modern ordering is done via tablets, but cards would definitely be no worse - I'm not a fan of trying to be artificially hip. Richtig toll schmackhaft! Keine Frage. Gerade mit mehreren Leuten sehr zu empfehlen. Durch das Bestellsystem wird das gemeinsame Bestellen und Probieren gefördert. Kommunikation ist Programm.

An sich hat sich das All you can eat aus meiner Sicht verändert. Es ist teurer geworden und die Qualität (außer die des Sushis) ist gesunken. Es gab Spaghetti statt Bratnudeln. Das hab ich bisher nur beim billig Buffet-Chinesen erlebt.

Wir waren zu zweit dort essen. Das All-you-can-eat Buffet kostet inzwischen 32,90€ pro Person, Getränke kommen noch dazu. Das Restaurant besteht aus einem sehr großen Raum und wirkt hallenartig. Leider dadurch auch ungemütlich. Man darf immer pro Person fünf Gerichte auswählen, welche in kleinen Mengen serviert werden. Eigentlich eine schöne Idee, so kann man verschiedene Sachen probieren. Wir bestellten also unsere Auswahl und dazu Wasser und Aperitif. Die Getränke kamen später als das Essen und der Aperitif erst bei der zweiten Bestellung. Leider werden auch mal bestellte Gerichte vergessen. Wir ernähren uns vegetarisch und bestellten daher auch nur vegetarische Gerichte. Leider gab es hier nur wenig Auswahl . Zu blöd, dass wir dem Restaurant Vertrauen schenkten. Es wurde 2x ein Fleischgericht serviert! Es fiel auch optisch nicht auf, denn manches kommt ja frittiert. Mein Mann hat von jedem Gericht ein Stück gegessen und bemerkte es erst dann! Wir haben dies bei der Kellnerin angemerkt, welche sich entschuldigte. Das war's dann aber auch. Wir werden hier auf keinen Fall mehr essen gehen und können es anderen Vegetariern nicht empfehlen. Ach so, wir haben insgesamt für zwei Personen, einer Flasche Wasser und zwei Getränken ca 82€ bezahlt. Das war's nicht wert!

Sehr freundlich und zuverlässig!! Natürlich mit voller Aufmerksamkeit…. Das essen war Mega lecker das kann ich nur empfehlen sehr frisch gekocht und vorbereitet das dauert nicht mal 10 Minuten und das essen ist da ! Ich fand so preislich etwa teuer!

Das „All you can eat“ Angebot ist wirklich klasse. Man ordert vom Platz aus bequem per Tablet pro Person 5 Speisen (Sushi, Salat & Co.) so oft man möchte und Hunger hat. Getränke lassen sich ebenfalls so ordern. Alle sind auf zack, obwohl es sehr voll war. Besser reservieren beim nächsten mal. Zusätzlich ist ein kleines Buffet mit extra Sushis und Nachtisch aufgebaut. Es hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Natürlich vom Level eher Standard, das gibt es mit Sushi auch exklusiver. Aber wirklich sehr lecker und uns hat der Besuch gefallen. Besonders da im Moment viel Restaurants Ramen bieten, willkommene Alternative mit lecker Sushi. Die Extras am Buffet waren besonders schön. Waren alle richtig satt. Sogar an die kleinen mit Nashis wurde gedacht. Parkplätze drumherum am Wochenende, wenn nicht gerade ein Fußballspiel ist, ausreichend vorhanden.

Einfach kein gutes Sushi, bestimmt zum dritten Mal eine Chance gegeben und wieder kein gutes Sushi bekommen. Es ist viel zu salzig und dürftig gefüllt. Für den Preis gibt es einfach andere Adressen in Kiel die deutlich besser schmecken und auch noch günstiger sind. Ich bin gerne berei tiefer in die Tasche zu greifen für Sushi aber hier wird man doch nur enttäuscht. Meine Frau und ich waren einfach ziemlich enttäuscht!

Super guter laden und eine sehr gute Inneneinrichtung Industrie. Das Essen kam schneller als Getränke wahr nun nicht schlimm aber ok. Das Essen an sich wahr gut und ausreichend von der Portion her zum probieren reicht es. Die Dessert Station wahr sehr gut gefüllt und auch das Sushi wahr sehr gut angerichtet.

Das Essen ist mal so mal so. Das vorletzte Mal hatten wir bei den Nudeln das Gefühl, es wurde in der Mikrowelle warm gemacht. Sushi zerfiel . Beim Letzten Mal war das wieder super. Für das Geld, was man dort ausgibt, erwarte ich 1A Gerichte. Da ist noch Luft nach oben :)

All you can eat sushi. Man bestellt jeweils in Runden mit dem Tablet am Tisch. Viel Platz vor Ort und die Tische haben genug Abstand. Das Sushi All you can eat hat 30€ gekostet.

Gestern waren wir wieder im YUMMY! und es war wie immer sehr sehr lecker!! Die Servicekräfte waren allesamt sehr bemüht und sehr sehr freundlich! Leider waren gestern die Tabletts zum bestellen ausgefallen und der Bestellvorgang ging über einen kopierten Zettel. An sich ja gar nicht schlimm, nur hatten wir auf Grund der fehlenden Bilder meist gar keine Ahnung, was wir da bestellten. Das hat zwar zu einiger Verwirrung geführt, dem Spaß aber keinen Abbruch getan!! Also gerne wieder....dann laufen aber hoffentlich die Tabletts wieder😂. Das Essen selber war wie immer grandios! Ich habe so leckere Sachen gegessen, wie schon lange nicht mehr...und natürlich wieder viel zu viel!! Wir kommen sicher und sehr gerne wieder!!!

Das erste Mal bei Euch gewesen und begeistert. Die Speisen sind ausgesprochen frisch und waren super lecker. Wunderbar.

Dieses Restaurant ist ganz okay, allerdings bekommt man hier kein ordentliches Sushi. Die Rollen zerfallen schon bei sehr leichten Berührungen. Lieber ein anderes Sushi Restaurant in Kiel aufsuchen, da diese auch günstiger sind, für mehr Qualität.

Ambiente war super, aber die Parkplatz Situation ist eine Katastrophe. Dafür muss man Zeit einplanen. Das Essen war Ok, aber ich hatte mehr erwartet. Auch das man immer 4x das gleiche bekommt vom sushi bei einer Bestellung, ist nicht zu empfehlen.

Ich bin wirklich von der guten Qualität der Speise und dem Service beeindruckt. Sehr freundlich und es blieb auch keine Frage zum Ablauf im Yummy offen

Freunde wollten sich am Valentinstag mit uns im Yummy treffen. Wir waren ob des All-you-can-eat-Prinzips skeptisch aber unsere Freunde haben geschwärmt, dass es eben kein Buffet wäre, sondern man die Speisen bestelle. Also haben wir uns dort zu fünft mit einem Kind getroffen. Für uns steht fest: einmal und nie wieder. Das Buffet kostet gerundet 33€ pro Person. Für das Geld kann eins schon echt ein paar tolle Speisen, Sahimi, Nigiri und Maki in einem passablen japanischen Lokal bestellen. Im Yummy bekommen wir nichtssagende Maki, die alle irgendwie gleich schmeckten. So ziemlich alles war mit gemisxhtem Salat dekoriert und mit einer Instant-Teriyaki-Soße übergossen. Die bestellten Speisen kamen schnell, aber Freude haben sie nicht gemacht. Der Service stand nicht wirklich beratend zur Seite und anfangs mussten wir mehrfach bitten, das benutztes, nicht benötigtes Geschirr abgeräumt wird. Lachssahimi und Tartar kam in homöopathischen Mengen. Ich habe mit Sicherheit keine 60g Lachs gegessen, obwohl ich Sahimi, Maki, Nigiri und Co bestellt habe. Das ist für den Preis absolut unangemessen. Ente und Huhn waren trocken, wie in jedem x-beliebigen Running-Sushi. Die Teriyaki-Champignons waren ungenießbar, ebenso die Gyoza, Frühlingsrollen und sämtliche frittierte Speisen. Eine Abzocke, die nichts mit qualitativer, gepflegter Gastronomie zu tun hat. Getränkepreise sind ebenfalls nicht gerade günstig.

Ich kenne das Yummy von der ersten Stunde an. Das Essen, die Auswahl und die Preise waren angepasst. Dann wurde es von Mal zu mal teuer und die Auswahl wurde reduziert. Das angebotene Sushi war aber immer noch klasse. Jetzt ist das Angebot noch geringer, viele Sachen waren ausverkauft, es wurden Sachen gebracht, die undefiniert und eher unappetitlich aussahen und das Sushi fällt auseinander. Der Preis liegt mittlerweile für echt miese Qualität bei knapp 33€. Es war das letzte Mal, dass wir uns mit Freunden dort getroffen und gegessen haben. Echt schade ☹️
