The food itself was great, but please never order the mochi. Unless you like gummies with sesame and a special flavor. Dessert not recommended. I trusted this store.

Nice restaurant and the sushi was delicious. The portions were enough for us but certainly a little small for really good eaters (we had a plate for 2 people). Service was top. Priced in the upper average range. It was fun and tasty, but we wouldn't go there again, but there are plenty of more interesting alternatives.

We were really hungry for sushi on our girls day. (we like to eat sushi often) Everything looked very inviting from the outside and inside. Unfortunately the service seemed quite annoyed and unfriendly (but I'm sure she was just having another bad day) Of course they are all people, but I also work with people & on a bad day you just have to be professional there too. Ordered a drink, it was delivered and from 2 meters away I saw that a glass had 3 !!!lipstick marks on it. I said straight away that I would like to get a new one. Without receiving an apology (because if it was important to you, you would do this) it was exchanged. Nevertheless, we preferred to drink our water from the bottle. First of all, we ordered edamame with sea salt (we looked for sea salt in vain). I have never eaten such soggy and bad edamame (probably pre-cooked and stored in hot water for a long time or warmed up in the microwave) I wanted to eat with chopsticks (they have reusable plastic chopsticks)… these were also not clean and had leftover food from the previous guest. My companion then ate her sushi with her fingers because she was very disgusted. We had vegetarian maki with avocado & cucumber, salmon & shrimp maki. The seaweed was very rubbery. The cucumber was already dried out. My maki with salmon was also shredded salmon. (as already written in another review) In short, in the afternoon we probably had sushi that had been prepared well in advance. Edeka's sushi is, without a lie, a thousand times fresher and tastier!!! The toilet looks quite modern at first glance, but at second glance the cleanliness is not reflected positively there either. When paying with a card, I was only shown the contactless payment page. I like to see what's on the display, always!!! Whatever it says, I don't have to worry about something being wrong. I'm of the opinion that it can always happen by mistake that you type in one too many numbers. That's why I always check the display... but even then they felt like they were being taken for a ride. Sure we were There in the afternoon, but you can expect fresh sushi to be served within opening hours, especially when only 3 tables are occupied (there were more than enough staff present who were busy behind the counter on their cell phones) My stomach wasn't feeling really well that evening either!!! I can agree with the other reviews from 2-3 weeks ago & don't understand the positive reviews! Not worth a second visit for us. And negative reviews seem to only be taken to heart online.

Wir hatten unseren Girls day& richtig Hunger auf Sushi .(wir essen gerne und oft Sushi) Von außen wie innen sah alles sehr einladend aus. Die Bedienung wirkte leider recht genervt&unfreundlich(aber sicher hatte sie nur wieder einen schlechten Tag ) Klar sind alles Menschen, aber auch ich arbeite mit Menschen & an einem schlechten Tag muss man einfach auch da professionell sein. Trinken bestellt, es kam geliefert & schon aus 2 Meter Entfernung sah ich das ein Glas mit 3 !!!Lippenstiftabdrücken versehen war. Habe direkt gesagt das ich gerne ein neues bekommen möchte. Ohne eine Entschuldigung dafür zu bekommen ( denn wenn es einem wichtig ist, würde man dies tun)wurde es getauscht. Dennoch tranken wir unser Wasser lieber aus der Flasche . Vorweg haben wir Edamame mit Meersalz bestellt (Meersalz suchte man vergeblich)Ich habe noch nie so aufgeweichte & schlechte Edamame gegessen (vermutlich vorgekocht& lange im heißen Wasser gelagert oder in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt) Ich wollte mit Stäbchen essen(es gibt dort wiederverwendbare Plastikstäbchen)… diese waren ebenfalls nicht sauber & mit Essensresten vom vorherigen Gast versehen. Meine Tochter hat ihr Sushi dann mit den Fingern gegessen, da sie sich sehr geeckelt hat. Wir hatten vegetarisches Maki mit Avocado & Gurke,Lachs& Garnelen Maki. Der Seetang war sehr gummiartig. Die Gurke war bereits angetrocknet. Mein Maki mit Lachs war ebenfalls geschredderter Lachs.(wie bereits in einer anderen Bewertung geschrieben) Kurzum gab es um 16:00 Uhr für uns vermutlich bereits lange im Voraus vorbereitetes Sushi. Das Sushi von Edeka ist da ungelogen tausend mal frischer und leckerer!!! Die Toilette sieht auf den ersten Blick recht modern aus, auf den 2. Blick spiegelt sich die Sauberkeit auch dort nicht positiv wieder. Bei der Zahlung mit ec Karte wurde mir nur die Seite zum kontaktlosen bezahlen hin gehalten. Ich sehe gerne was auf dem Display steht, immer!!!Wo auch gesagt wurde ich brauche keine Sorge haben das da was falsche steht. Bin der Meinung, es kann immer aus Versehen passieren das man eine Zahl zu viel eintippt.Daher checke ich immer das Display … aber auch da fühlten sie sich auf den Schlips getreten. Klar wir waren um 16 Uhr essen, aber gerade dann, wenn nur 3 Tische besetzt sind ,erwarte ich frisch zubereitetes Sushi( & es war mehr als genug Personal anwesend, welches hinterm Tresen am Handy beschäftigt waren) Meinem Bauch ging es am Abend ebenfalls nicht wirklich gut!!! Ich kann mich den anderen Bewertungen von vor 2-3 Wochen anschließen& verstehe die positiven Bewertungen nicht! Für uns kein 2. Besuch wert. Und negative Bewertungen werden sich hier anscheinend nur online zu Herzen genommen.

So.. I'm disappointed. I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time, and yesterday was finally the day. My husband chose the evening buffet, I chose fried sushi and a pot of tea. Even though we had to wait a little too long at the beginning to be invited in, the service staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant looked nice and clean on both the ground floor and second floor, despite the high number of visitors. We chose a spot outside and off we went. In itself, the evening buffet for €26.90 per person is a good deal. You can eat anything shown on the buffet menu for 2 hours. You can choose up to 6 different dishes on the piece of paper per round. It sounds like a lot, but you only get small bites of each type. This in itself is also a good concept, because it is well known that too much food is thrown away, especially at buffets. But the portions are really EXTREMELY small. I've never seen fried sushi like this before. The rice didn't seem fresh, any other type of sushi just wasn't really tasty. We eat sushi often, there are enough comparative experiences. The whole time I had the feeling that the restaurant was trying extremely hard to save costs. And I don't like coming back to restaurants that don't want to offer their guests the best, especially because the prices can't be described as low. My husband had to wait almost 30 minutes between the first and second plates because there weren't that many guests sitting outside and the waiters didn't come there that often. Of course it was a bit frustrating because, as I said, the snacks are very small and you are of course very hungry at the beginning. The service staff are nice, but it's not so great when you have to wait so long between courses, especially because you only have 2 hours. By the way, I got a spring roll instead of my fried sushi. The waiter probably understood number 13 instead of my "number 113", even though I asked if he had written down 113. Luckily it was something I like, so I didn't cancel the order because the food would have been thrown away, I guess. The teapot with green tea tasted good, but it is questionable whether it can be called a "pot". There is a maximum of 300ml in there, maybe. A cup of tea would have been more worthwhile both in terms of price and quantity. If I'm honest, the visit made me very sad. I expected a lot more and the price-performance ratio is not right at all. I cannot recommend this nor will we go there again. A pity! And unfortunately I can't really understand all the good reviews. But I definitely thought the fish in the pond were cute.

The best sushi in Kiel! You should definitely try the crunchy rolls in particular. The homemade iced teas are also highly recommended! The conditions are all consistently super nice, attentive and patient. Unfortunately, the all-you-can-eat option doesn't convince us because it mainly contains the "sushi basics". Nevertheless, Sakura is our favorite restaurant in Kiel!

The drinks were homemade but tasted like water and sugar I didn't think the sushi was fresh and didn't taste good, even though I love sushi and have tried it everywhere. I had a large plate but unfortunately it wasn't tasty

Ingen mysig eller välkomnande känsla alls. Servicen var dålig och vi kände oss bortglömda. Maten var god. Vi delade på en exklusiv sushi tallrik för två och en valde en chicken roll. Den var god, men tyvärr lite för kall. God mat, men kändes som lägre klass pga miljön och servicen.

Anyone who likes sushi will be well served here. Extensive selection and good service is offered. Just try it out yourself.

I was late (after 9 p.m.) because I was cycling and a thunderstorm blocked my further journey. There was nothing left in the other restaurants, the kitchen was closed. It was completely different here, I was warmly welcomed and something was cooked for me. The miso soup was a poem, the duck teriyaki as well, and the dessert too - everything was delicious. If this place were around the corner from us, I would be a regular. It was getting late and as the last guest I had the pleasure of listening to the employees having dinner - how much laughter they were having. On the other hand, I was able to have a short small talk with the employees - everyone was very friendly, happy, and everyone had a smile on their faces. I miss this warmth in many other places. Keep it up. When I'm in Kiel again, I'll come over.

For us the first time here at the Sakura Sushi Restaurant. The sushi was very good, the eyes also ate with it👍 However, I would very much appreciate it if the table/place mats were also replaced when the guests had left. That seems a bit unhygienic to me... A lot of attention was paid to the design of the guest room, with a lot of attention to detail to bring in a touch of Asian (Japanese) home.

It was just enough for 3 people, otherwise I recommend eating the 4 person platter with 4 people ;D

A wide selection of dishes for lunch. Fein Favorit M15 is in the photos. €10.50 + €2 for duck. The Coca-Cola 0.33l bottle is also available at lunchtime for €2.50. I find it quieter and more comfortable here than at Galeria in the passage and it is on the "walkway" main station <--> AIDA / Mein Schiff (Ostseekai), if you choose the route through Holstenstrasse.

Regular guest at the buffet - for me it was delicious and the selection was sufficient. Always fresh and fast: recommended. Unfortunately the homemade drink is no longer included.

I've been here many times for all you can eat. The sushi is always fresh and usually comes pretty quickly. The selection is great and there is also sushi that is not run of the mill. I always really enjoy coming here. 27€ buffet + 3€ for the drink are also okay.

Nice Asian restaurant in the middle of Kiel. Large selection of sushi with an all you can eat promotion twice a week. In addition to sushi, there is also a good selection of other dishes, many of which you can choose between beef, chicken, duck or vegetarian. I can't confirm comments about a long waiting time, I was there around 7:00 p.m. on a Thursday and everything went pretty quickly.

I've enjoyed eating at Sakura for years. However, today I was a little disappointed. Among other things, we had the 83 - Crispy Udon. On the invoice the item “Normal” was listed as “2€”. When I asked, I was told by the waiter that this position was because I had the dish with beef, but if I looked correctly on the menu, beef is included in the dish as standard - only the vegetarian version has a different price . I found this very confusing and perhaps it should be noted on the map. Regardless, the food was, as usual, very tasty and the staff friendly! Addition: In response to the nice response to my review, I wanted to contact the restaurant, but the email address provided is probably not correct because I received error messages from two email services. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any response to an email to the website address I researched, which is a shame. =(

Went to Sakura for the first time yesterday before the THW game. There were two of us, we were greeted very friendly and taken to our reserved table. The food we ordered and the drinks came quickly and we were very positively surprised 👍 it tasted excellent, everything was freshly prepared 😋 and a very generous portion 👍 this was definitely not our last visit 😁

Table reserved online, cards were already on the table. A small bridge as a footbridge led over the koi tank. We ate Special No. 62 with additional chicken breast, top... 2x Bowl 81/82 with chicken. It was delicious. Drink prices ok. We'll definitely come back.

It was really busy, but the food didnt take tooo long to arrive. The food was also great and i would say totally worth the prize. The service itselt was also overall good, but it can be a bit difficult to hear because some of the servers were talking a little to quiet to be able to hear them over the people who were talking. The atmosphere in the restaurant itself was also quite nice, it looks very nice from both the outside and inside, its really nicely decorated and the seats are all very comfortable.

The sushi was great. Unfortunately, we were sitting in a not-so-well-lit corner by the door and therefore didn't recognize our food very well. 😉

Definitiv das beste Sushi was ich bisher hier gegessen hab. Frisch, knusprig, schnell zubereitet...ich komm auf jeden Fall wieder. Sie sind auch auch sehr kinderfreundlich in dem Laden. Zwischendurch wäre die Frage ganz nett gewesen, ob alles okay ist, oder ob man evtl noch was trinken möchte, aber wenn das alles ist was man auszusetzen hat, dann geht das schon klar.

Das Essen war im ganzen gut. Die Präsentation war auch sehr schön. Das Ambiente war auch sehr angenehm, nicht zu kitschig. Die Preise ist das Sakura nicht sehr günstig, aber auch nicht sehr teuer, eine gutes Mittelmaß. Man sollte auch jetzt keine großen Portion erwarten. Wer großem Hunger hat muss dann tief in die Tasche greifen. Es ist ein Geschmackserlebnis für den kleinen/mittleren Hunger. Wer gut zu langen möchte, sollte zum All-You-Can-Ear am Montag oder Donnerstag ab 17 Uhr kommen (Reservierung vom Vorteil). Leider gab es beim meinem Besuch ein paar Dinge, die ärgerlich waren. Ich hatte jeweils eine Portion Cranchy-Roll und Inside-Outside-Roll bestellt, bekamm aber statt der Inside-Outside-Roll, normal Maki. Sie haben zwar geschmeckt, waren aber nicht das was ich bestellt hatte. Ich hatte mich sehr auf die Inside-Outside-Roll gefreut. Die Rolls kam sehr schnell, aber das Curry meiner Freundin leider sehr spät, sodass ich längst fertig war, als Sie ihr Curry bekam. Ich werde das Sakura nochmal besuchen kommen und hoffe, dass es beim zweiten Besuch besser klappt und ich es mit 100% Zufriedenheit verlassen.

Начнем с блюд,раз уж это место, где люди трапезничают : рыба и рис - на высший пилотаж.Великолепная подача и свежие продукты,приемлемые цены. Своего стоят. Но,грязные вилки и стаканы - отпугивают от места. Сидела и самостоятельно протирала вилки и посуду - так как было не приятно ими есть !

Schönes Restaurant. Preislich eher etwas teuerer. Wir sind spontan gegen 16.00 hin und haben direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war sehr freundlich aber wirkte etwas überfordert. Man hatte auch 3x eine andere Servicekraft und mussten länger auf das Essen warten. Als es dann kam wurde mir erst das falsche Essen gebracht. Kann mal passieren und es wurde anstandslos ausgetauscht. Mehr passierte aber leider nicht. Als das richtige Essen dann kam war es wirklich sehr lecker und sehr reichlich. Auch der Hausgemachte Eistee war wirklich gut. Ich denke ich werde hier vielleicht mal das all you can eat testen.

Das Ambiente des Restaurants war sehr schön, besonders das Koi-Becken hat mir gefallen und war schön anzusehen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen wurde schnell und gut serviert. Mein Favorit waren definitiv die crispy chicken rolls und die Erdnusssauce. Gerne wieder!
