Well, to each his own! It's fun to prepare your own food; you can't complain about the taste. But the amount of meat you get for so much money is outrageous!

SUPERB experience! The quality of the food is excellent, as is the service from our waiter Yu. Highly recommended!

Only for the service I want to give 10/10, especially our server was named Yu, he was friendly and knowledgeable and showed us how to properly eat Korean bbq, and got a great service. The food was good too. Atmosphere can be better but overall, highly recommended

We had a very nice evening. The Korean BBQ was very tasty and the meat was very tender. The mandu were also very crispy. The side dishes were good too. The salad could have been a little fresher, the heat from the grill may have contributed to that. It was a bit expensive, which we knew from the start. Unfortunately, we only noticed afterwards that a starter from the neighboring table had been included in the calculation. Hence a star deduction.

I'm totally thrilled. Insanely great shop, excellent food and simply great service. There's actually nothing to complain about. The two of us had a really good time - although it cost 170 euros with a tip... but it was worth every cent. Dear Yumira team: thank you very much for the great evening. Keep it up. I came here last Thursday to celebrate my and my girlfriend's master's degree with the whole family. We had a wonderfully full table of food, a few individual dishes as well as several mixed game menus and a sea food lover menu. The food was super tasty and the side dishes were fantastic. Our waiter, Can, was excellent and knowledgeable about the dishes and how they were prepared when we had questions. He and the other waiter were very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again!

I had Korean BBQ and the meat quality was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. I also had a Kimchi Jjigae which was so flavorful. The staff members were very friendly and responsive, and the food came out real quick - very satisfying service overall. I would like to try more of their dishes.

Yumira in Munich is a real highlight for lovers of Korean cuisine and BBQ experiences. The stylish ambience with bamboo decoration creates a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for social evenings with friends or family. The concept of the table grill is particularly impressive: high-quality meats such as Black Angus or Iberico pork can be grilled directly at the table, making the meal an interactive experience. The diverse side dishes, including authentic kimchi and fresh salads, round off the taste experience. The service is attentive and friendly, which makes the visit even more pleasant. For anyone who wants to enjoy Korean BBQ in Munich, Yumira is definitely worth recommending.    

Unfortunately extremely disappointed with the Korean BBQ. Apart from that the service (male with glasses and tattoos) was unprofessional. The first thing that arrived was the corn cheese, without us even getting anything beforehand, not even the drinks were there. Beyond that, it was just corn with plenty of mayo and some cheese on top. Not an “original” corn cheese. The corn cheese came in a bowl that sat on a wooden coaster. This wooden coaster smelled so bad, like old washcloths. We pointed out to the service employee in question that it smelled quite bad. He said maybe it's the cheese. Ah, so “stinky cheese”? - he laughed at this and left. It was so disgusting to me that I took the bowl off the coaster and put the wooden coaster on the edge of the table to clear away. When it was gone, there was no smell anymore. We ordered the gourmet menu for 2 and extra pork belly. The vegetables included were 2 slices of mushrooms and zucchini. The entrecot had a strange/spoiled aftertaste. Wagyu, Iberico and pork belly were good. We also asked about the Korean leek salad, which was apparently included. What we got was leaf lettuce with a few leek stalks and the “chilli dressing”. For dessert, 3 mochis, 2 of which were of the same variety. Bibimbap was good, but the shrimp in it was overcooked and therefore dry.

If the thing they call Wagyu on their menu truly is Wagyu, then a tired Tuesday night burger from a gas station is a Michelin-starred masterpiece. The meat was tough, dry, and utterly bereft of the rich, buttery magic that defines true Wagyu — an insult not just to the cow, but to culinary dignity itself. For a restaurant that dares to print such promises on its menu, one expects at least a passing acquaintance with authenticity. Sadly, what landed on my plate was more mystery than marbling. In a city brimming with genuine delights, there’s simply no excuse for such a disappointing performance. I would not recommend this place to anyone who respects their taste buds — or their wallet. One point given to the speed that they serve food and the Vietnamese staff who made an effort to pass as Korean. I’m happy that I could get out of the restaurant as fast as possible. Do not recommend unless you are looking for disappointment.

We just went to dinner spontaneously without a reservation and had a great evening. We grilled (seafood and mixed game + wague) - it was simply something different and absolutely delicious, side dishes were served at any time as needed at no additional cost. The service was great, the staff was super friendly and, despite the store being full, they were always available and requests were fulfilled quickly. The ambience was nice, but the seat cushions were perhaps a bit old. That's why only 4 stars, otherwise we would like to come back.

Waiters friendly and the cocktails were delicious. However, the meat was no longer completely fresh, the beef was already dark and the pork smelled and tasted slightly stale. You can currently find better things for the price. 🌈

Went here after arriving in Munich. Came without reservations, they still sit us. It’s set up is cute, we were seated in an Asian style table. We ordered à la carte and the food passed our taste test! 😛

We had a lovely and great evening. The meat is of extremely good quality and tastes simply great. The drinks not only look good, but also taste great. The staff is nice and friendly and calmly explains how to eat Korean BBQ properly. There were four of us and unfortunately we only had a pair of tongs at the table, which was a little inconvenient. Next time we would ask for a second one.

Perfect place to celebrate special occasions!

It was so delicious. The portion was perfect for my friend and I. Two plates plus as many small side dishes as you like. The meat is really very good! Of course it costs a little more but you can definitely treat yourself every now and then :) Tips are very much appreciated and rounded off with some shoju <3 highly recommended. Portions not big enough for the high price. Unfortunately, you can't taste the advertised quality and it doesn't justify the price. Staff just fake friendly and too intrusive. After the meal there would be complaints that not enough tips were given. That doesn't work at all!

Everything was really good and you could always order the side dishes for the Korean BBQ free of charge. Unfortunately, the meat portions for men were far too small

We had the Korean BBQ and it was amazing!! Although all tables were occupied on Tuesday evening (table reservations are highly recommended!), we were served quickly and very friendly. The food was great and YUMIRA will definitely be on the wish list the next time we visit Munich.

Every once in a while I come across an outstanding restaurant, and this should be on your list in Munich, Germany. Paul, our waiter, was very gracious helping us navigate the German menu. The sides they brought with our order were a delightful treat. The seafood soup is delicious. Highly recommended!

Went for 3 meals, 1x seafood menu, 2x beef menu. I asked the waiter what the menu included. Service not motivated, the composition not appetizing and far too little! Went out hungry and paid 150 euros!! The store is a joke, I don't understand the good review. Never again!!!

We've been kind of regular customers at Yumira for about 4 years. Until yesterday we had had great experiences without exception, the quality of the meat was always perfect and clearly higher than at the other Korean BBQ restaurants in Munich. Unfortunately, yesterday we noticed a significant drop in the quality of the meat, and the side dishes also lost a bit of sophistication and variety. In November the cards were reissued and the prices increased. We write the review as feedback to the team (of course we also communicated it verbally). Never change a winning team ... we will continue to match the prices in the future, but with the now reduced quality we probably won't.

We have been visiting this great restaurant for many years... Unfortunately, the quality and quantity are decreasing. Again and again a little.....but the prices have risen almost to an absolute level. The ratio is no longer correct!!!

Insgesamt finde ich es nicht schlecht, aber es gibt einige Merkwürdigkeiten. Sie verkaufen koreanisches Essen, obwohl keine Koreaner dort sind und ständig K-Pop läuft. Das ist an sich kein Problem, aber... die koreanische Kultur ist Ausländern immer noch nicht sehr bekannt, nicht wahr? In dieser Situation ist es ziemlich verwirrend für einen Ausländer, die Kultur eines anderen Landes (Korea) zu definieren und zu vermarkten... Stellen Sie sich vor, es gibt ein deutsches Restaurant in Korea, aber der Besitzer und das gesamte Personal sind Türken, und wenn ein Koreaner sie nach Deutschland fragt, beschreiben sie es selbstbewusst. Even the ㅇ1 game level is ㅇrㄴi, and if two people eat together, they can surpass the basic work, attack, yu, and role skills. As for the number of food, I would say 2 people. "Gan" is ㅇH, Choreo l, "Korean" style 2, I don't know what ㄴ1ㄷr. Great experience at Yumira restaurant! We had the Lunar menu for Chinese New Year, and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Can, was very helpful and taught us how to enjoy the Korean BBQ with salad. Excellent service and authentic flavors—highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time grilling our own food at this restaurant! Our waiter, Can, even taught us how to make authentic Korean-style wrap bites. If you’re interested in learning, be sure to ask him - he’s incredibly helpful!

The quantity is small and the price is expensive. For more than 120 yuan, two people didn't get much. They treat people as if they were the wronged people. The boss was angry and made 70 yuan with tears in his eyes. We don’t want to be the kind of people who are stupid and have too much money.

The food tasted good. We ordered two menus at €49 per person, plus dumplings, a kimchi soup, a beer and a cocktail. Up until then everything was fine and we were happy with the quality of the food. But when we also ordered a bottle of still water because we were thirsty, we had to pay an incredible €8.50 for it! For a simple bottle of water, this price is absolutely excessive and seems greedy on the part of the operator, especially considering how much we had already ordered and consumed beforehand. Such prices leave a bad aftertaste and spoil the overall experience - a shame, because otherwise the evening was pleasant. Follow-up: After your answer, I feel compelled to lower my rating from three to two stars because I don't like being taken for a fool by arrogant restaurateurs. To claim that I was served “high quality premium water” and that the high price was justified by the service and operating costs seems like a desperate excuse. As if these costs weren't already included in the remaining €131 we paid for our dinner for two. Perhaps the operator should remember that he is not running a 3-star Michelin restaurant and could certainly offer regular water instead of just "premium water" to exempt his guests - especially if they have already paid a considerable amount have consumed. By the way, a quick search shows that this supposedly “high-quality” water is available in stores for €1.52/liter. It's a shame, the concept of the restaurant is good, but a place that rips off its guests doesn't deserve success. Luckily, there are now many other Korean BBQ restaurants in Munich that you can try.

An absolute highlight for lovers of Korean cuisine! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is modern, cozy and at the same time authentic - you can feel the Korean touch in every detail. The food was simply spectacular! The menu offers a wide range of traditional dishes and every single one we tried was a taste explosion. The homemade kimchi varieties in particular were to die for – perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh. The banchan (side dishes) were also generously served and varied. The Can and Van were great: attentive, friendly and always willing to answer questions or make recommendations. In addition, the price-performance ratio was really fair for the quality and portions that were served. An absolute must for anyone who loves Korean food or wants to try it for the first time. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us!

Highly recommended, especially for special occasions (as prices tend to be higher)! Great BBQ right on site. Very high quality products, the meat melts in your mouth. There are various menus to choose from including various side dishes and sauces that can be reordered free of charge. Very nice service, even though it's busy. Point deduction in the ambience because it is quite smoking and smells like grease in the place. There is still a need for optimization here, others can do it better. Nevertheless we will come back!

Simply great. A wonderful idea, grilling a BBQ right on site. Very high quality meat. There are various meat menus that you can grill yourself and all sorts of mixed side dishes that you can reorder at any time, free of charge. Nice, attentive service that explains everything to you before you start. Because we grill in a closed room, there is a bit of a grease smell, which is why there is also a wardrobe with doors. We've been there twice, so make sure you reserve in advance. Would love to come back.

During my visit to Yumira Restaurant, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the food. The dishes were excellently prepared and tasted impressive. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the sometimes unprofessional service. The staff seemed inattentive and lacked the necessary attentiveness. In summary, Yumira offers culinary excellence, but the service could be improved to realize the restaurant's full potential. Additionally, when the restaurant is full, the air quality in the room is very low due to the grilling of the food.

I've been here several times and can recommend it to anyone looking for a good Korean BBQ. The price is a little higher, but the quality of the meat is impressive. The food was very tasty and there was a good selection of grill menus as well as regular dishes. Various side dishes were served with the grill menu and - as in Korea - you could prepare the meat yourself on the grill as you wish. The desserts were also really excellent. The staff were consistently very hospitable, which made the visit even more pleasant.

We visited the Yurima restaurant in Munich with a group of 10 people and what we were offered was simply great. The concept of grilling yourself at the table was a real highlight, which was the first time for all of us. I was particularly impressed by the gourmet platter that I chose: the best quality meat, fresh ingredients and a variety that left nothing to be desired. There was also homemade kimchi – a real taste explosion! You can immediately tell that there is a lot of attention to detail here. The dishes from the regular menu were also excellent and were praised by everyone in our group. However, what really made this evening special was the staff. Not only was it friendly and attentive, but you could actually feel the passion with which they pursue their work. No matter whether it was about recommendations, questions about preparation or refilling drinks - the team was always present and always had a smile on their faces. Their enthusiasm was transferred directly to us and made the evening something very special. The atmosphere at Yurima was stylish, warm and inviting, perfect for our group. In the end we left the restaurant after an unforgettable evening with a bill of around €600 (including tip). For what we were offered, it was more than adequate - it was worth every penny! Big thanks to everyone who worked the evening: Yu, Daniel, Daniel, Paul, janett and of course the kitchen. Conclusion: Yurima in Munich combines outstanding food, a unique concept and a team that puts their heart and soul into it. It is a place that you should definitely experience. Tasty but quite expensive for the amount you get in the Korean BBQ menu. The service was top. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice in itself, but unfortunately it is very smoky despite the many extractor hoods over the table grills.

We spent my birthday here as a couple and decided on a Korean BBQ and the mixed plate. The service was super friendly, both at the reception and at the table. Everything was explained to us proactively and the supplements were refilled without being asked. The meat tasted excellent, was of very good quality and all in all it was great for us. The ambience fits perfectly. It's a little more expensive, but other than that I can't find anything negative. An excellent evening for me and therefore an absolute recommendation!

I spontaneously wanted to go out for a little something to eat in the evening and came here for dinner with a good friend of mine. The service was extremely good. The prices were - in keeping with Munich standards - not cheap but ok in relation to the cuisine. In addition to the seafood, I also threw in Wagyu and was satisfied with the meat. There are enough parking spaces on Boschetsriederstrasse. Card payment - also with Amex - possible.

We were eating there for eight people and ordered a total of eight portions and actually only six came out. It was only after we asked that they informed us that we still had two dishes. We also ordered a bit more, we can't even return two closed bottles with the approach of yes we have to sell it on but we can't return it and that was taken off the bill.

The three of us had the mixed record. When you first look at the menu, the dishes are a little higher priced, but what is served is absolutely appropriate for the price and worth the money. In my eyes, everything seemed authentically Korean. The background music plays according to the K-Pop theme, the volume is just right, you can listen to the music but also have a conversation without any problems. At the beginning the waitress explains how the barbecue works. However, it seemed a bit rushed to me, so a point was deducted, but otherwise very nice service. I was helped easily when I forgot my backpack in the restaurant. Since we came from further away, it was sent in a package within a week, great! You can certainly spend a social evening here, for example as a company party, but Korean barbecue is not suitable for vegetarians. In any case, we had a successful evening and I can well imagine coming back when we go to Munich again.
