GiGo BBQ in München

Ja ich gib fünf Sterne, weil Service es mir sehr wichtig und da war echt ein tolles Service, junge Leute  sehr nett und Essen war lecker. Der Preisleistung stimmt.

Wir hatten zum Valentinstag reserviert und es war ein tolles Erlebnis! Ja, es ist recht teuer, aber die Qualität des Fleisches ist ausgezeichnet und das „selber Grillen“ ist eine super Idee. Damit kann jeder seinen eigenen Garpunkt wählen. Die Beilagen sind auch sehr lecker, insbesondere die Suppe! Alles in allem ein tolles Erlebnis, was man sich an an gönnen sollte!

Essen war super. Das mit dem Tischgrill im Tisch ist echt super. Dazu sogar eine Lüftung oberhalb vom Grill. Ein echt durchdachtes Konzept. Die Bedienung ist auf Zack und es mangelt nicht am Nachschub der Beilagen. Also auch da ein grosses Lob. Kurz zusammengefasst, ein echt super Erlebnis, wo man als Fleischliebhaber voll auf seine Kosten kommt.

Alles war hervorragend! Vom Service und der Atmosphäre bis hin zum Fleisch 🤤 Wir haben die meistverkaufte BBQ-Kombi für zwei Personen bestellt und sie war fantastisch! Für die Qualität und Menge fand ich den Preis für Münchner Restaurantverhältnisse wirklich gut. Wir kommen wieder 😁

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend! Das Restaurant ist schick und gemütlich und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Ich finde es gibt ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, die bestelle Beef Platte für zwei war qualitativ sehr gut, die Beilagen vielfältig und lecker! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

The food and service were amazing!

A bit pricey but the quality of meat is good. Big plus for the bottomless sides (banchan). Mostly worth it if you go in a group or are a big eater.

We went to GiGo BBQ in Munich with colleagues and had a fantastic evening. I tried Wagyu beef for the first time and was absolutely thrilled – incredibly tender and delicious. The overall quality of the meat was top-notch, grilling at the table was a lot of fun, and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended for Korean barbecue!

We went to this restaurant for dinner, a business lunch. I was tasked with choosing the restaurant and wanted to try this one. The meat was truly excellent, very fresh, and literally melted in our mouths. The staff was very friendly, always attentive, and brought extra side dishes upon request. Grilling the meat ourselves was fun, especially since my colleagues had never done it before – it was their first time. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I had made a reservation because there were six or seven of us. Overall, it was a lovely evening; the food was truly excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a lover of Korean cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Obviously, the food is a bit more on the expensive side (~40€ p.P.) but it is definitely worth it. One of the best meat I have ever tasted, ambient is great and the service is also very good and friendly!

We had a wonderful evening, the side dishes were absolutely delicious, the meat was of excellent quality, and the price was very reasonable! I'd love to come back again.

This was our first time at a Korean BBQ, and it was a truly fantastic experience. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. The food was super fresh and extremely delicious. The cocktails were amazing. Yes, it's not cheap overall, but the quality and quantity of food absolutely justifies the price. The only drawback is that the space itself is cramped and not very large. There's hardly any ventilation for the grills, so the one door to the terrace stays open almost the whole time, leaving you sitting in the draft or the cold.

Wir hatten eine Reservierung für 20:00 Uhr, mussten aber bis 20:30 Uhr auf einen Tisch warten. Es saßen Leute, obwohl ein Platz frei war. Wir taten dasselbe, aber eine Frau (die Rezeptionistin) sagte, wir sollten uns nicht hinsetzen, weil schon Leute vor uns gekommen waren (wir kamen um 19:50 Uhr an). Sie hatten jedoch auch eine Reservierung für 20:00 Uhr. Das Management war sehr schwach.

Non authentic Korean dish and BBQ prepared by non-Koreans. All side dishes were not original Korean foods and especially Kimchi tasted awful.

me and my homegirl had such a great time here. we ordered a plate combo for 3 people and kore an rice cake, which is so above of our eyes because we thought it just a normal size of beef plate :) anyway the beef were good, i kinda sad cause it’s probably frozen beef, but it’s okay. a lot of side dishes also ( u can see in my pics). i’m so recommended this place for u guys. and u need to listen to the staff’s advice if u don’t want to take the food home like us :)

Great change from classic restaurants with excellent food and friendly service

We went there with our best man to eat for our silver wedding anniversary. We wanted something "special" since we're both chefs and rarely eat out. When making the online reservation, I chose the wrong time, called, and it was changed immediately and confirmed. I highly recommend this restaurant! We sat outside, but the interior is also really nice. The route to the restroom can be a bit confusing: if you're not careful, you'll end up standing in the kitchen :D The meat quality is truly top-notch and definitely justifies the price! The service is (gratifyingly) unobtrusive, yet very attentive and genuinely friendly! The many (!) side dish bowls aren't overflowing, but you can always reorder anything, which is another absolute plus for me! Everything was fresh and very good, but I was particularly impressed by the glass noodle salad. The homemade lemonades are also great. It was a very nice evening, and we certainly won't wait until the "golden age" :D Our best man immediately made a note of this restaurant and will be returning soon. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy a leisurely meal over a longer period of time, and value high-quality meat.

Das Essen war super, wir fanden es aber ein bisschen zu teuer (15-20€ weniger für die Platte für 2 wäre unserer Meinung nach angemessener gewesen). Dennoch war für uns das Geld wert, da sehr lecker. Die Kellner/innen waren aufmerksam und es ging alles recht schnell. Waren zufrieden. Danke dafür :)

Beautiful ambiance (the cherry blossom decor is a real eye-catcher), delicious food, and friendly service. It would have been great if they explained the concept and the food style at the beginning, as it was new to us and we weren't sure what to expect. We then saw how other guests ate their food.

Very tasty food for home-grilling with very high-quality meat, and the price range reflects this. Good, attentive service. Unfortunately, parking is very difficult on-site, so arriving by public transport or taxi is strongly recommended. Hence the small point deduction.

Exceeded expectations! Very friendly service, fast, and courteous. We had the beef platter for two, super tender meat! The side dishes were also great. For drinks, we recommend the lychee-lime or passion-mint lemonades. We thought the price was reasonable for the quality, taste, and quantity!

The waiter is friendly, but since the service was limited to one person, we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks, the appetizer came after the main course, and when we tried to pay, we were sent away because he was busy and told to come back in 10 minutes.

Food was ok, not authentic per se for Korean food. I let the photo speaks for itself, banchan was ok-ish and that’s how I judge Korean food. Meat quality and portion is ok... Also the grill was not hot enough as the heat are from the side and not the top. All the juice from the meat are gone.

Wir waren letzten Freitag wieder einmal bei GIGO Korean BBQ – und wie jedes Mal war es einfach ein rundum perfekter Abend! Wir sind mittlerweile schon mehrfach dort gewesen, und jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert uns das Essen und der Service. Das Fleisch ist absolut hochwertig und geschmacklich einfach unschlagbar – saftig, butterzart und perfekt abgestimmt auf die tollen Beilagen, die übrigens immer wieder schnell und aufmerksam nachgereicht werden. Die Auswahl an Beilagen ist durchdacht und passt perfekt zum Barbecue-Erlebnis. Man merkt einfach, dass hier auf Qualität und Geschmack großer Wert gelegt wird. Was GIGO aber auch besonders macht, ist die herzliche Atmosphäre. Wir wurden wieder sehr freundlich empfangen und auch verabschiedet. Der Service ist aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, und man fühlt sich als Gast wirklich willkommen. Besonders schön: Zu meinem Geburtstag gab es sogar eine kleine Überraschung – eine wirklich liebe Geste, die uns sehr gefreut hat! Ja, es ist nicht ganz günstig, aber für uns jeden Cent wert. Es ist einfach unser Lieblingsrestaurant geworden, und wir gönnen uns diesen „teuren Spaß“ sehr gerne – immer wieder. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die koreanisches Barbecue auf höchstem Niveau genießen möchten!

The food and service are very good, but the prices can only be described as outrageous. 80 euros per person and I wasn't even full at the end.

They have unlimited treats, the meat is delicious, the fried chicken wings are superb, the service is bad, no one speaks English, they only speak a little German, no tea service 😂

I didn't even know they were still open. There is still a notice in the “shop window” about the opening times for Christmas and New Year, the garden/outdoor space is overgrown. Not very inviting, I won't visit the restaurant in this condition.

Great dining experience, quality food and perfect service. We had made reservations for the evening (4 people) and arrived at our table about 10 minutes later after a drink at the bar. We all enjoyed the meat and the side dishes. Depending on your preference, you can have any side dish you like so that you have enough to eat. The drinks are local and the price is particularly reasonable. We felt very comfortable (no smells from the grill) and the very friendly and helpful service clearly stands out, many thanks to the whole team. The price was okay with bottled wine and a tip of €320. I would happily recommend it if you want a new dining experience.

It's fun and an experience, especially in a group. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they are doing the fine meat a favor and whether it is therefore a special taste experience. Personally, some pieces of beef seemed too mature to me. You can definitely do without the haute flavor in a dish like this, but that too is a matter of taste.

The food was authentic. We ordered samgyup and the korean chicken and were so full. They have good and plenty of side dishes. The sides were part of the bbq price. I would definitely recommend this restau for those craving korean bbq. The only thing that we noticed is that the staff does not speak english so we hard a hard time asking about the menu.

Very nice Korean restaurant where each table has its own grill in the middle. Recommended is v. a. the beef platter for two people, from which you can try everything. The starters are also very good. Some of these are included in the menu, but others can also be booked. The shop is very popular and there is a certain waiting time.

Das Fleisch war gut aber die Saucen und Beilagen schmeckten sehr eindimensional. Keine unterschiedlichen Geschmacksrichtungen und die Vorspeisen langweilig. Erst gab es Probleme mit dem Grill und dadurch wurde das Fleisch am Anfang nicht gut gegrillt. Insgesamt enttäuschend vor allem bei einem Preis von 45€ pro Person für das Hauptgericht. Wir werden dort nicht nochmal essen, schade

Overall, our visit was a successful experience. The quality of the meat was outstanding – tender, juicy and perfect for the grill. Here you can tell that great importance is placed on high-quality ingredients. However, the side dishes couldn't quite keep up. Although they were fresh and OK, they lacked the final refinement and variety. A little more creativity and spice would have taken the taste experience to a new level. Nevertheless, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit, especially for meat lovers. With a little tweaking to the side dishes it could even become a real highlight.

Wir hatten Tischreservierung, nun leider musste wir halbe Stunde warten. Das war aber nicht so schlimm, das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett, uns würde dan gebeten uns etwas zu gedulden und als Entschädigung Prosecco und Nachspeise angeboten. Essen war sehr lecker und schnell da, das Personal hat sich bemüht das auch nicht fällt. Tolle Location, sehr schöne Atmosphäre und Restaurant, nettes Personal, immer wieder gerne 🥂
