Ordered to-go, unfortunately rather disappointing. Noodles wrapped in plastic wrap, rice overcooked. The portions were okay, but the taste wasn't great. Unfortunately, I can't understand the many good reviews.

Extremely unfriendly, elderly, gray-haired lady who often works at the cash register and treats customers disrespectfully. I wouldn't want to eat in such an unpleasant atmosphere.

The food was okay, but one of the employees was extremely rude. While I was waiting for my food, the lady approached me, saying that my bike was too close to her Porsche and asked if I would move. The Porsche was parked on the sidewalk!!! Pretty rude. This lady should be more concerned with her restaurant and the customers than with her Porsche.

We ordered the "spiciest" dish on the menu, and the food couldn't even be described as mild—there was no trace of spiciness. The taste was okay. We've eaten at far better restaurants, especially Thai restaurants. The food here is definitely "Germanized," meaning it's heavily adapted to typical German tastes and explicitly not authentic. If you like that, you can eat here. Personally, I don't like it and wouldn't recommend it.

I have been a fan of this restaurant for the last few years, but this time I have been extremely disappointed by an extremely rude person at the counter. Usually, the people are always very nice and friendly here, but this person has spoilt not just the atmosphere but also my willingness to come to this restaurant again. I went and asked them if they could make a soup without shrimps, the answer was a curt no. I asked if I could get a glass of warm water, the answer was buy a bottle of water. How she expected me to buy a bottle of water and then make it warm is something I couldn’t figure out. And this is a place where I have always been offered tea on the house while I waited for my food. The soup arrived and definitely it was possible to make it without the prawns. The tea was made with hot water. And when I went back to place another order, this lady tells her colleague to take my order. I was anyway not looking forward to speaking to her. If I could give the service negative points, I would have. The food is good though.

There was a wide selection of Asian dishes on the menu, and the fried rice was very delicious. The interior had an open feeling to it, with a cool breeze coming in from time to time. Even though it was lunchtime, customers were queuing around the register, which impressed me as it must be a popular restaurant. There was also a toilet at the back of the room. The service was friendly and it was a cozy restaurant.

I'm writing this review again, exactly as it was written, after the owner took action against the original review, arguing that it was defamation. If you can't handle truthful descriptions of your own behavior, you should consider changing your behavior instead of filing a "defamation" complaint afterward ;) The food is okay, albeit overpriced. The staff was quick and pleasant. While we were eating, we looked at photos we'd taken during the day on the digital camera display. The manager immediately came to our table and snapped at us, "Put your camera away! And if you take any photos of the dog, I'll throw you out!" The dog apparently belongs to her; he has his basket in the restaurant and occasionally goes on a run. I have no idea what that was about. But it was sudden and nasty, and it pretty much ruined our meal.

Great food, good value for money

I wanted to order to go, as usual. So I called at 8:20 p.m. (the store closes at 9 a.m.) and was yelled at, asking when I could come by. I said I'd need 20 minutes, but they just said no, that wasn't possible because the bill still had to be processed. As I said, the store is open until 9 p.m., so they should adjust their opening hours and their tone. Incredibly bad service, even though the food is good.

We both took the glass noodle salad because it sounded great with all the vegetables, glass noodles, etc. In the end, unfortunately, it was more of a dessert - it tasted like it had been dressed in McDonald's sweet and sour sauce. Very disappointing if you're expecting a fresh salad. Sugary sweet instead.

Nice Thai snack bar at the Viktualienmarkt with seating inside and outside. The food is always freshly prepared and is super tasty. We always enjoy coming here, for us the best Thai in Munich Update: after a long time they are finally back and the quality is still excellent

Fine Thai food for quick hunger pangs of good quality, the service is polite but sometimes a bit strict (understandable given the volume of customers, but could be improved). The food is honest and good, and you usually don't have to wait long.

Yum2take has always been in my top 10 restaurants where I go for years. Great food (especially Pad Thai) and very efficient, friendly service. You hardly ever wait and if lunchtime is really busy you still don't have to wait long! Sometimes there's even a lovely waiting tea with it :)

Busy restaurant, fast service, fast food. You have a great view of the Viktualienmarkt and the market hall. It is cooked with organic meat. Great curries and salads. There are underground car parks in the immediate vicinity.

Good Thai food at affordable prices. The salads are particularly recommended. Fresh and very tasty.

Mega delicious, freshly prepared, high quality food

Looks delicious, almost like street food in Thailand, if you ignore the winter atmosphere in January 😉 . We had glass noodle, tofu and peanut salad, red curry with organic chicken and crispy organic chicken in sweet and sour tamarind sauce, surprisingly - and good - with a subtle spiciness. And we can take the beautiful sticks home with us.

Whenever I'm in Munich, I eat here because of the good and - compared to many Asian restaurants - exceptional food. Since it has always been nice weather to sit outside, I never noticed how crowded it is here and what a rush there is. Nevertheless, the two ladies “at reception” were super friendly and calm and had the matter fully under control. Since the food was delicious as always, I would say respect to everyone involved that even with such a rush, you can make the visit to the restaurant not necessarily a quiet, relaxed one, but still a pleasant and interesting one.

We actually wanted to have lunch at the Blauer Bock, but we were too late. So I decided to go for Thai; our first visit there and certainly not our last. The food was visually very beautiful and tasted delicious. Sharpening is easy and hassle-free thanks to various sauces at the table. Excellent value for money for Munich at the Viktualienmarkt. We'd love to come back!

Basically very tasty food, but in my opinion all the curries and soups are too sweet.

The food didn’t feel authentically Thai. We ordered Red Curry and Panang Curry, but both tasted almost identical to Tom Kha Soup, with an overpowering amount of coconut milk. The Pad Thai was decent.

Not only did she make fun of the poor waitress in front of the guests right at the beginning of our visit (impossible behavior for me), but she was also extremely unfriendly to us. To be honest, I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. It should be replaced as soon as possible!

The soup dishes are very good value since they have noodles too. 7.9euro. Tom kha soup was especially comforting.

Best place to grab something delicious quickly in the center! Best Pat Thai in town, that's why we keep coming back!

I once ordered takeout fried rice. The portion was far too small for me personally, I was still very hungry afterwards and that at €12.90 for rice with vegetables. Also, it took over 20 minutes for the food to be ready. What you have to say: It tasted good.

Inflation und MWSt-Erhöhung waren für viele Gastronomen ein willkommener Anlass, die Preise kräftig zu erhöhen. Der Gier sind dabei offenbar keine Grenzen gesetzt. So hat das yum2take in den letzten drei Jahren die Preise für Standardgerichte um 57% erhöht: Für ein Essen, dass 2021 noch 9,90 Euro gekostet hat, muss man jetzt 15,50 Euro hinlegen. Dazu kommen die zusätzlichen, verdeckten Preiserhöhungen: Z.B. wurde das Putenfleisch durch das um 25% billigere Hähnchenfleisch ersetzt. Völlig unakzeptabel ist, dass die Preistafel sowohl im Internet wie an der Wand der Lokale nicht durchgängig die aktuellen Preise ausweist. So stehen die Tees weiterhin mit 3,90 Euro angeschrieben, während an der Kasse 4,50 Euro (+15%) abgezogen werden. Proteste ließen die sture Bedienung unbeeindruckt; und auch nach über 1 Woche sind die Preisangaben noch nicht aktualisiert. Dies ist ein Verstoß gegen die Preisangabenverordnung und sollte von der zuständigen Stelle des Kreisverwaltungsreferats verfolgt werden!

I didn't think the food was that great. The chicken was hard and fart dry. The sauce was ok, the vegetables were overcooked. You pay prices like in a restaurant, but in the end it's just a mediocre snack bar.

Unser Besuch im Restaurant yum2take in München war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Obwohl das Essen einigermaßen geschmeckt hat, war der Service schlichtweg inakzeptabel. Während wir noch aßen, wurden uns die Teller bereits weggenommen, was eine entspannte Atmosphäre und das Genießen des Essens unmöglich machte. Besonders schockierend war das Verhalten der Leiterin des Servicepersonals, die uns regelrecht anpöbelte. Dies war nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern auch äußerst unangenehm. Darüber hinaus wurden halb volle Getränke ohne Rückfrage abgeräumt, was ebenfalls sehr störend war. Die Gläser, aus denen wir trinken sollten, waren schmutzig, und die Getränke selbst waren viel zu warm – sowohl die Weinschorle als auch das Bier. Wir waren mit zwei Münchner Familien dort und alle waren geschockt über das niedrige Service-Niveau, das in einer so schönen Lage überhaupt bestehen kann. Insbesondere das pöbelhafte Verhalten der Serviceleiterin muss hervorgehoben werden – so etwas darf in keinem Restaurant vorkommen. Insgesamt war unser Besuch im yum2take eine große Enttäuschung und ich kann dieses Restaurant aufgrund des schlechten Service nicht weiterempfehlen.

The food is absolutely ok. Nothing out of the ordinary, but freshly prepared and portions sufficient. As others have already described, the manager of the restaurant lacks a sense of interpersonal relationships and communication with customers. Of course, things can get stressful at peak times, but that doesn't justify snarky comments. I guess I've been lucky so far that I've never met her. We were able to experience their charm live on our last visit and we certainly won't be going back again any time soon. It also depends on how.

Overall our visit to yum2take was a big disappointment and I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the poor service.

Der Laden ist ein Ableger des Yum-Restaurant. Hier gibt es asiatische Küche billiger aber auch schlechter als im Yum. Atmosphäre kommt hier allerdings nicht auf, der Service schafft es auch nicht. Eher ein Chaos. Kurz: Es lädt nicht zu dort essen ein und für Take-away zu teuer.

Terrible customer service! The manager/hostess was so incredibly rude to us, our card declined once and she laughed and said “do you have money or not!!” The food was okay but the entire experience was ruined by the terrible atmosphere caused by the rude staff (other waiters were great). It’s a shame to ruin an otherwise decent meal.

Fried duck 5 little pieces, side vegetables only a bunch of pepper slices and bambus and rice, for 21 euros. Not worth it, tourist trap...

A wonderful restaurant. Great food, meat (if you like it) only from Hermannsdorfer, everything totally fresh and extremely tasty. Very friendly team, attentive and helpful. International clientele and staff, places outside and inside.

I recently visited this restaurant and found the prices to be exorbitantly high. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the receipt to show you just how expensive they were. The vegetables were overcooked, more suitable for a stew rather than the crunchy texture typical of Asian cuisine. You would expect a restaurant with such high ratings on Google to deliver on flavor, but that was not the case. The Google reviews led me to try this place, but it seems they don't reflect the reality. Quite disappointed.

Joined friends here today and ate the Panang curry with chicken for €14.50. While the vegetables were still okay, the same couldn't be said for the chicken. Overcooked and tough. The sauce without the spiciness that is otherwise typical of the dish. The ambience cannot be described as cozy either. Plus self-service with pager. Price/performance doesn't fit here at all. For me - sorry for that - a total failure. In my opinion, the store only works because of the excellent location and the many walk-in customers. My first and last visit here. If you still want to try it, definitely avoid meat dishes.

I had a red Thai curry with chicken, which was unfortunately so undercooked that the meat tasted very crumbly and dry. Price-performance doesn't fit! Can also only confirm what many other reviews have already mentioned: The older, gray-haired landlady has the friendliness of a sergeant in the Bundeswehr. It's unbelievable how harshly she treats guests. It's a shame, unfortunately I can't recommend Yum2Take, but feel free to experience it yourself

Unfortunately I wasn't thrilled with the food quality price performance was not right. The poultry meat was too hard and cost an extra €4.50 to the noodle dish Pa Tai. I had to fight to eat the meat. I won't go there anymore.

Yum2Take Thai in Munich is simply fantastic! The food is always freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. The use of organic ingredients makes the enjoyment even better and leaves you with a good feeling. Every bite is simply delicious and leaves you wanting more. An absolute must for anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine!

Food was good, but I ordered takeout and sat outside. The owner of the store saw me and said I couldn't sit here because of some tax law. Imagine you're sitting and eating outside at the same restaurant, you've ordered and the manager comes to you and says you're not allowed to do that. Absolute madness.

I had a quick lunch with colleagues during the week. I was impressed by the taste of the food and the selection of dishes was also satisfactory. Unfortunately, I have to point out that the ambience of the restaurant is starting to look “outdated”. Some tables and furniture show clear signs of wear. The prices are on a slightly higher level, so definitely not a fast food place. Self-service is the order of the day here, i.e. you order and get a pager. This makes it possible to eat quickly, but I still think that normal service would be appropriate for the prices. Overall, the restaurant offers a good selection of tasty dishes. However, the charm of the ambience could be significantly increased by refreshing and renewing the furnishings. Best regards

Die Bedienung, Hanna Hornic, war der Hammer – mega bemüht, sogar unser 4-Jähriger war voll happy, weil sie echt auf ihn eingegangen ist. Jetzt ist klar: Jedes Mal, wenn wir in München sind, geht's hier zum Essen. Echt lecker war's obendrein!

Für unseren Firmenlunch haben wir bei Yum2Take bestellt und die Lieferung ausgewählt. Trotz des Schnee-Chaos in München wurde das Essen pünktlich geliefert und sogar von den Mitarbeitern direkt zum Büro gefahren. Der Service war super und sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt!
