I had the pleasure of visiting Yozora 17 sushi shop and would definitely like to share my experience. As soon as I entered the restaurant I was greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. But the real highlight was undoubtedly the food. The variety and freshness of the sushi creations at Yozora 17 were simply stunning. Each bite was a harmonious combination of tender pieces of fish, crispy rice and flavorful sauces. The precise preparation and attention to detail could be felt in every role. The shop's chefs undoubtedly know how to fuse the traditional art of sushi with innovative touches. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. The fish was fresh and of the highest quality, and the various vegetables were crunchy and flavorful. Each plate was a true feast for the senses, both visually and gustatory. As far as the service is concerned, I can only find praise. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and they had an impressive knowledge of the menu. They were willing to make recommendations and accommodate individual preferences, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, perfect for an evening with friends or a romantic occasion. The stylish furnishings and dim lighting contributed to a pleasant ambience that further enhanced the enjoyment of the sushi creations. Overall, I can fully recommend the Yozora. It is a place that has mastered the art of sushi while providing a welcoming and appealing environment. If you're looking for an exceptional sushi experience, you won't be disappointed. It's a real treat for all the senses!

The service was very friendly. The ambiance isn't as nice in reality and doesn't look as inviting as it does in the Instagram pictures. The food was excellent, although there were some differences from the pictures. We didn't like the homemade lemonades; they were much smaller than in the pictures and completely overpriced. They tasted like mineral water with syrup. We tried four different ones, and four people agreed that they tasted bad.

However, we found the price too high, as there are cheaper alternatives in the area that offer identical quality and service. Apart from the price, however, we were completely satisfied.

Overall, a great sushi experience - there are a few minor things missing for a 5. ⭐: - The music in the women's restrooms is incredibly loud. A quiet background should be sufficient, although I certainly won't be having long conversations there 😉 - The prices for the homemade lemonades are outrageously expensive; unfortunately, I can't say otherwise from our perspective. A good €8 for 0.25 l is quite a lot, although we would have liked to try one or two. - The sushi tasted very good, only the nori sheets in the maki didn't taste quite as fresh. Visually, the platter could have been decorated a bit more. But that's probably just because we're used to it from other restaurants. The ambiance itself, the selection from the menu, and the quality of the food are very appealing. A great plus was the free edamame because we ordered a platter. Why not include this information on the menu? Your guests will definitely appreciate it. 😉 We'll definitely be back; there are simply too many dishes and sushi variations we want to try (the sweet dessert sushi alone sounds tempting) 😁🍣🍣

My wife and I stopped by Yozora-17 after leaving the airport. It was definitely worth it! The service was amazing and the workers were also very welcoming. The sushi was next level we enjoyed every bite. We also ordered a few different appetizers, which were also very tasty. Overall wonderful experience would recommend to anyone and everyone.

We went to Yozora Fusion Restaurant today to celebrate my husband's birthday - unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience overall. Two of us received our food while the remaining three people had to wait a full 40 minutes for their sushi. When it finally arrived, not only was it cold, but it was also cooked incorrectly. The biggest problem, however, was that we couldn't eat together - which was particularly unfortunate at a family birthday dinner. While guests who arrived well after us were served their food promptly, we had to wait without a clear explanation. When we asked, the service staff were unable to give us any information and only referred to an “understaffed kitchen”. However, we found the reaction of one waitress particularly unprofessional: When we asked again about 8 p.m. about the whereabouts of our food, we were simply told that we had two options - either leave or continue to wait. Such a statement to paying guests who have already been waiting for a long time and are celebrating a special occasion is completely inappropriate and customer-unfriendly. A visit to a restaurant should be a pleasant experience - especially on an occasion like this. Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. We were very disappointed and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant under these circumstances.

Unfortunately, a clear failure! Went there with the family and were treated very badly. Two of the group got their food while the others had to wait another 40 minutes for their food. The staff was completely overwhelmed and had no idea. When we asked, we were told they were sorry, we could wait or go home if we didn't want to wait any longer. When the food came, it was prepared incorrectly and simply didn't taste fresh. Unfortunately a very disappointing evening. Not recommended.

The ambience is beautiful and before you can admire the floral ceiling and other furnishings, the food is there. The selection is really sophisticated and the sushi also impresses in terms of taste. Even the simplest sushi tastes extremely good and fresh. Another nice feature is the moment the bowl of steaming dry ice is placed on the table. The staff is very friendly and even let me in and sit me down shortly before opening time. Absolute recommendation.

A few weeks ago I left a negative review that only contained facts. Unfortunately, this was reported by the restaurant (the reason stated was deformation) and deleted. The food remained completely disintegrated and broken, looked unappetizing and was not complete. The restaurant only offers a 5€ voucher for a next order (which we definitely won't give).

I picked up my takeout. The environment was very quiet and cozy. The food was good, not my most favorite though. My husband, however, really liked it. We got the vegan 40 pieces, not too big.

The restaurant is very close to the city center, making it very easy to walk to. We were able to book online very easily. The decoration is very striking and tasteful, and the restaurant is large so there is space between the tables. Just don't expect a minimalist restaurant with 3 tables. The food was good, good quality but like almost all restaurants that offer Sushi, they are generally too expensive for the quantity they offer. In the end it's rice with things and not Russian caviar, but hey, focusing on the restaurant, it's fine.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the sushi restaurant "Yozora-17 Fusion Sushi" in Wiesbaden and we were really excited. Unfortunately, our experience didn't quite live up to the expectations we had for a restaurant in this price range. Ambiance and service: The ambience of the restaurant is modern and attractively designed, which immediately leaves a positive impression. The furnishings are stylish and create a pleasant atmosphere for a relaxing evening. The service was consistently friendly and helpful, but one had the impression that the staff was overwhelmed. We were warned that the restaurant was full and everything might take a little longer, which wasn't a problem for us at all, but even when the restaurant was only half full it took a while before we could place our orders. There is potential for improvement here - perhaps adding another person in service or reducing the number of seats. Prices: At first glance we were surprised by the prices - they seemed relatively high. The cocktails cost just under 9 euros, which is probably okay for the Rhine-Main area, but for the amount in the glass (after deducting the crushed ice) it is already at the pain threshold. In a restaurant of this category we expect more than just a few ice cubes in a glass. Starters: We chose several starters: Yakitori, Takoyaki, Ebi Tempura and Yasai Tempura. The taste of these dishes was okay, but they were served either lukewarm or even cold. This marred the overall experience considerably as fresh and hot food should simply be expected at a sushi restaurant. Main course: The main course consisted of the “Signature Rolls”, which tasted really good. The restaurant scored points here – the combinations were creative and delicious. However, these dishes were also at a high price level, which calls the overall price-performance ratio into question. Conclusion: In summary, we were unfortunately disappointed with Yozora-17 Fusion Sushi. We expected much better quality, especially considering the prices. Unfortunately, the friendly staff cannot make up for the deficiencies in the temperature of the food and the inadequate price-performance ratio. We hope that the restaurant works on these points in the future, because with better organization and more consistent quality, it could well become a recommended place for sushi lovers. At the moment, however, we can only recommend dining here to a limited extent.

The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The sushi in particular was excellent, tori katsu was good, and the ramen was a bit simpler. We must have had a bad day when it came to service: initially we were ignored at the door for about 5 minutes and the menus were missing at the table. We got them ourselves after about 15 minutes. After a friendly apology from the service lady, everything went faster. We found the prices to be quite high at times, but overall it was a nice experience - especially thanks to the great sushi!

Very overpriced, Aperol Spritz for 8€ in a 1/4 glass including ice and a piece of orange, sushi is very small and overpriced. First they brought sushi and then Vorspeise

Unfortunately it developed negatively. Service friendly but overwhelmed. Kitchen overloaded? If guests at several tables complain that the food is cold, that it doesn't come to everyone at the table at the same time or that the waiting time is too long... if even guests leave the restaurant early... then you've definitely done something wrong. Our sushi was delicious but the price was too high. For €34, there's really not much on your plate. Maybe we should have ordered an 80€ platter. My duck with udon was tasty but nothing special. 25€ for that was OK. Drink selection is not varied enough. 1 beer is not enough... even if you mainly serve sushi. You were probably surprised by the rush today, but then you should first turn away new guests and not continue to fill all the tables and then annoy them. We won't be returning any time soon although we weren't as unlucky as the guests mentioned above. The price-performance ratio simply doesn't fit. But try it yourself... :-)

I had a lovely evening here. The place looks very urban and is reminiscent of restaurants in Frankfurt or Berlin. The service was very friendly. The kitchen was very good, except that I found some plastic in my soup. Mistakes happen and that's why I can still recommend a visit.

Wir kennen das Yazora schon seit einiger Zeit. Die Küche war und ist einwandfrei, bis vor kurzem war auch der Service top, aber: Wir waren zu 7 (2 Ehepaare + 3Kinder) Seit neuestem gibt es das: Schon bei der telefonischen Reservierung wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, das es nur e i n e Rechnung geben wird. Bitte was? Es muss doch für den (freundlichen) Service möglich sein, seinen Gästen bei all den Erleichterungen, die die digitalen Endgeräte bereit halten, eine Rechnung zu splitten, geschweige denn bei der Bestellung die entsprechenden Fragen zu stellen, wer was zahlt. Der Kellner lies sich bei der Bestellung der Rechnung auch nicht beirren. Schade, ein Grund diesen "Laden" nicht mehr anzusteuern. Was soll das?

Leider enttäuschend – nicht nur beim Essen Wir waren zum Mittagstisch hier, der leider nur mittelmäßig war. Das Essen war zwar essbar, aber geschmacklich eher fade und ziemlich fettig. Keine besondere Würze oder Frische – einfach enttäuschend. Noch problematischer waren die sanitären Anlagen: unsauber, keine Seife, kein Desinfektionsmittel. Das hinterlässt kein gutes Gefühl, vor allem in einem Restaurant. Wenn die Toiletten so aussehen, fragt man sich unweigerlich, wie es wohl in der Küche aussieht… Insgesamt leider keine Empfehlung von uns.

Op de foto’s ziet het er mooi uit maar het is heel ongezellig. Het eten viel enorm tegen. Kleine sushirol en de edamame boontjes waren slap en vaak leeg. De tonijntataki was ook niet echt lekker. Beetje droog en met een berg witte rijst en ijsbergsla. Nee, wij vinden het echt slecht en de wijnen per fles veel te duur!

The sushi was tasty but I don't think the price is quite right. There is certainly cheaper sushi that tastes just as good or even better. The employees are very nice and the atmosphere is really nice. There is really a lot to choose from so I think there is something for everyone here.

First of all, the good: Yozora 17 is a carefully furnished and very spacious store. We had reserved, were warmly welcomed and were able to choose our own table. We ordered two non-alcoholic drinks and loved them; I enjoyed my drink with lavender and cornflower fantastically. But now the catch: We treated ourselves to the omakase for two people - according to the menu, a "unique menu" of the "best fish of the day" that captures the "essence of Japanese cuisine". We were really looking forward to it and shelled out €40 per person. What came next was by no means bad food; It was delicious. But it wasn't the best fish of the day, nor did the menu have anything to do with Japanese cuisine. It was a plate with various "loaded rolls", i.e. sushi rolls with thick toppings and sauces. The fish: salmon and tuna, pretty standard for sushi, plus two ebi nigiri and one or two types with an indefinable fish paste filling, one of the rolls was fried in tempura batter. As I said, everything was very tasty. But unfortunately it had as little to do with authentic Japanese cuisine as a kebab had to do with Turkish cuisine - just a little, but nothing more. I really like the Germanized sushi rolls that are available in many places and the toppings were really diverse and comparatively special. But this evening it was supposed to be a sushi menu that was close to Japanese cuisine. What we got was the opposite, loaded with toppings and sauces that mask the flavor of any type of fish. The slate plate on which the menu was served was decorated with a cup of dry ice, which the waitress unexpectedly activated with water, so that the mist wafted over the menu. Decorative, but I don't need an event kitchen and would have preferred to try classic Japanese sushi with different types of fish that only need soy sauce, wasabi and gari to shine. In our opinion, spending a whopping €80 on this menu for two people was overpriced. Conclusion: If you like Europeanized sushi, you will definitely be happy here, and there are also numerous vegetarian and vegan options. If I go to the store again, I will put together my own menu in the future and set aside my expectations of authentic Japanese sushi.

There were two of us here - the reservation was made at short notice - everything was great. The menu offers a large selection of delicious, authentic and creative variations. The sushi tasted fresh, but given the prices I would have expected and wished for more. The drinks are tasty but quite small for the prices. All in all, it was a lovely evening in a modern and impressive setting, with good service that was helpful and well trained. But unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right for me, which is why I won't be coming back. Highlight: Gluten-free soy sauce and vegan cream cheese are available upon request! Top! 🤗

Six of us had sushi on Friday December 13th, 2024. Everything was delicious, but 3 out of 6 are now lying with vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea. Ate cream soup and sushi twice.

Unprofessional, beautiful interior ruined by the rude staff. We ordered sushi with salmon and sushi with tuna came instead. When we reported this to the waiter, they vehemently insisted that it was sushi with salmon, which was definitely not the truth. We were spoken to in a passive-aggressive tone, which is outrageous and not appropriate. The other reviews that speak of cockroach infestations do not reflect the quality of this store. Here the customer is not king and is not taken seriously. Very unfortunate.

Unfortunately it's nowhere near what it used to be - so completely unacceptable! We were big Yozora fans...since tonight we've been wondering what happened here. The food: In the past, the sushi and other dishes were always exceptionally good on multiple visits to Yozora. Tonight everything was extremely ordinary, and overall every meal seemed a little bland. At the same time, the prices in the new menu were noticeably increased. The ambience: We still like the location and the ceiling decoration. But here too: It doesn't seem to be properly maintained anymore. The fact that the floor on the toilets sticks so much that you can feel it on your shoes is certainly a no-go and does not reflect well on the hygiene in a sushi(!) restaurant. The service: Apparently the aim is to further maximize profits when serving wine. Even after asking, the service was hardly able to bring the billed 0.2l (for €8 for a mediocre Pinot Gris) into the glass. The fitting end to an unpleasant evening: the wrong table was charged first. After payment was made, we noticed that the amount must have been too low. Instead of a “Thank you for your information” an additional €90 was rather grumpily charged. Conclusion: Yozora was one of our most popular sushi restaurants. Unfortunately only until this evening. Too bad!

Yesterday I went to Yozora for the first time with a friend. It was by far the best sushi I've had in a long time. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was really great. I'll definitely come back.

I have visited many sushi restaurants in Wiesbaden, but Yozora-17 is my absolute favorite. The Vulcano and Sake supreme rolls are particularly recommended. Anyone looking for sushi outside the norm will be happy here. Of course there are also very tasty classics here.

At Yozora-17, sushi is served at the highest level. The freshness of the ingredients is impressive - the fish is tender, the rice is perfectly balanced. The Dragon Rolls in particular are a real highlight! The restaurant offers a stylish, relaxed atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The service is extremely friendly, attentive and always ready to give recommendations. In addition, the restaurant is very centrally located. It is therefore not a problem to find a parking space quickly. For all sushi lovers in Wiesbaden, Yozora-17 is an absolute must. I'll definitely be back! 5/5 – Highly recommended!

The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere and high prices reflect this. The sushi tasted really good. However, there aren't many options on the menu other than sushi, which adds variety. So if you specialize in sushi, you'll get your money's worth here. However, if you're looking for a more diverse selection, you might be disappointed. Overall a good experience, especially for sushi lovers!

I ordered sushi from Lieferando last night. Unfortunately a sushi roll was missing from the order. When I called Yozora to say something was missing, I received understanding from the owner, but they couldn't deliver straight away. The offer was made that the owner would come by personally after the store closed and bring the remaining roll. When the doorbell rang 1 1/2 hours later, they apologized and gave us an extra 4 rolls. This shows me how important customers are to Yozora and how they go the extra mile for service when something didn't go right. The sushi was top and delicious! Definitely recommended!

Leider waren wir mit unserem Besuch überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Beim Besuch des Lokals haben wir uns schon sehr gefreut, da ein neuer Asiate in Wiesbaden eröffnet hat. Angekommen wurde die Reservierung trotz leeren Ladens nicht gefunden. Dennoch haben wir einen Platz bekommen. Nachdem uns die Speisekarten gebracht wurden, wurden wir 15-20 min lang ignoriert. Die Bedienung hat uns nach Aufforderung erst aufgenommen weil Sie mit sich selber und Ihrer Kollegin mehr beschäftigt war. Soweit so gut. Das Essen wurde aufgenommen und wir warteten. Das Essen kam ca. 35 min später an unser Tisch nachdem wir schon fast 1 Stunde vor Ort waren konnten wir endlich Essen. Während und nach dem Essen kam niemand mehr um nach unser Wohlergehen zu fragen. Wir wollten noch etwas Trinken aber haben uns dann doch umentschieden in die Altstadt zu gehen um noch dort etwas zu trinken, da man anscheinend hier kein Wert auf die Gäste legt. Wir ruften die Kellnerin zum Kassieren. Diese kam auch sofort was positiv war und kassierte uns ab obwohl der ganze Tisch noch voller Teller und Essen + Besteck war. Das geht deutlich besser liebes Yozora Team. Für uns leider keine Wiederholung mehr in diesem Jahr. Vllt im nächsten?

Yozora-17 in Wiesbaden: If you love sushi, you should definitely visit Yozora-17! The location is super easy to find and there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. The sushi selection is huge and the quality is simply top! Whether classics or creative creations, there is something here for every taste. The staff is super friendly and helpful in explaining the offer. An absolute hit in terms of taste! 5 stars from me!

Top! When you see a restaurant with this many reviews and still have a high rank, you know it’s really good! Love the food there, from an Asian perspective, the fried Tempura, Eel Temaki, fried Udon, are pretty good. Price higher than normal, but it’s worth it!

Great atmosphere, service, and my oh my was the sushi here on point! We tried their platter for two special and it was a significant amount of sushi. I will definitely come back next time I am in Wiesbaden.

Great restaurant in Wiesbaden!! The quality of the sushi is really very good. The staff is very professional and very very friendly. You will be introduced to the menu directly at the table. The gyoza are probably the best I have eaten so far in my life. Very, very cool, the sauce that comes with it is excellent. A sushi restaurant that is highly recommended! Thank you

The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. There are also tables outside, at the front of the street and in the back yard, I would recommend the back yard. At the beginning you will be asked whether you have been there before, and if not you will be presented with the menu quickly. We thought that was great because it gave you an immediate overview. The service was very nice and tried very hard. The food was ready relatively quickly even though there was a lot going on and tasted really good! Both the starter, sushi and the chicken curry were very good and nicely prepared. I think the price is okay for what you get, but it's definitely expensive fun that you can't treat yourself to too often.

It was absoluely fabulous, great service, fantastic sushi! The homemade drinks are very fancy, a little on the top side but totally worth it! A gem to visit and enjoy, We will be back!
