BEWARE RIP-OFF! The waiters cheat the customers from start to finish. Invented prices are charged that do not match the prices on the card. Sometimes they charge €5-10 more than you actually have to pay. There is no invoice or receipt and when asked, they act as if they had made a mistake. I've been there twice now and this happened both times. RIP-OFF STORE!!!!! Food and ambience 2-3 out of 5 stars nothing special

Until the renovation, we always enjoyed staying there every week. Up until then it had always tasted very good and the price-performance ratio was also good. When we were there after the renovation was completed, we immediately noticed the extremely high prices. When we ordered our pide again, which had become €2 and €3 more expensive, we immediately noticed that there was no side salad like before (despite the increased prices!). The portions of fries and tzatziki have also become smaller. You have the feeling that you have to personally pay for the renovation. It's a shame, I used to really enjoy being there...

Insane mixed appetizer plate. It tastes so wild that sometimes I just eat the starter plate with the fresh bread for breakfast. It's a 10 out of 10 and the rest of course too but starter plate over-the-top!!!!

The prices were excessively increased and the portions slimmed down. I was shocked when I read the prices for large tea, small tea, Ayran. That doesn't work at all. Service top! Food tastes good!

My wife brought me a kebab... She ordered a kebab with everything, no onions and extra cocktail sauce.. At home I got a kebab "Bread & Meat"! Everything was simply forgotten...and she paid the full price on the spot. I also tried to call to “complain”, they answered and hung up straight away! No hello, nothing... Complete impudence! That's not possible!

The service is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious if you like Turkish cuisine. You can watch the cake at work. When the restaurant is very full, it gets loud and table conversations become increasingly tiring. The toilet facility in the basement cannot be recommended for people with walking difficulties or older people, as there are steep stairs leading down. There are missing railings on both sides.

Classic restaurant for kebab, Adana and Co. Cool atmosphere, there's always something to see, there's a lot of walk-in customers. Vibrant restaurant in the trendy district of Bielefeld. We like it a lot. Quality fits. Card payments have also been introduced after years of waiting. We will continue to stop by for a doner beyti or an Adana kebap. Keep it up!

Your portions are getting smaller and prices are getting more and more expensive. The quality of the meat has drastically decreased, especially kebab, regardless of which type. Service rubbish... Except for young women, two come running and ask them at least four times until they get up if something is missing.

I was there with my colleagues and everyone had the same opinion. The ambience is good. Location too. But that was it. The food wasn't even remotely worth the money. An additional €2.20 for a small drop of tzatziki on a 20 euro plate is simply not good manners and will drive away customers in the long term. If you do this 100 times every day, you'll get a lot of money out of the customer's pocket.

You have to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour before you can eat. You also have to say that the food doesn't taste very good considering that you have to wait so long. In terms of taste, it tastes the same in almost every Turkish restaurant. There is no reservation system; instead, customers have to wait. Well, if the store is full, you can't expect good service. I would rate service a 6, just because of the wait. I'm not happy with the price/performance ratio either

Lots of little brown insects on my rocket pizza. I brought the plate back very quietly and politely. The waiter just mumbled to himself. No apology or at least see and understand the whole thing. Then I went towards him. I told him sorry, but the insects are jumping around in the rocket. He then said: It was checked by the kitchen and nothing was seen. I would have brought them in myself. Despite everything, we spent 170 euros on food. Never again!!!!!

The atmosphere there is pleasant but I won't come here again so easily. Almost 25 euros for a mixed grill plate plus 3.90 euros for a bottle of Cola containing 0.33 l. The Bulgir rice was cold and there was no Haydari (sauce) on the plate but only hot sauce. It was really too expensive, you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Went here spontaneously (and for the first time) for dinner today. Since we didn't know Piro yet and hadn't done any research on the restaurant, we didn't know that Turkish cuisine awaited us. The restaurant looks very harmonious, bright and modern and was also very well attended. The typical Turkish dishes (doner kebab, lamacun and pide) are a little more expensive here, but you probably don't go to Piro for food "on hand". I liked the large grill, which is why I really wanted grilled chicken steak. I think it's great to be able to choose from 3 side dishes for all grilled dishes (rice, bulgur or, as can be seen in the second photo, fries). The portions are actually a bit small if you're really hungry, but the taste is great. Unfortunately, a mistake was made when my partner ordered a drink (dry wine instead of sweet red wine), which is why one point was deducted. The waiter didn't say anything about it either. Unfortunately, I only noticed the mistake with the wine when my partner had already drunk half the glass. Since the food was, as I said, excellent, we will definitely come back to Piro.

Update 2024: After the renovation it became significantly louder. The prices have gone up quite a bit and some dishes no longer come with salad. The portions have become smaller. But taste is good. Card payment is now possible 2018: Food is delicious and the portions are filling, the service is perhaps a bit confusing but ok. Even if you don't like kebab, you'll find what you're looking for here. Edit September 2019: you can probably no longer pay by card, and I also think that the quality of the minced lamb has decreased.

You are cheated from start to finish. The first time I was at Piro, I had a kebab plate & a drink. I paid €23 for both (significantly higher than the prices on the menu), but I didn't realize that until later. The waiter then brushed it off as a probable mistake and didn't bother with it any further. Today I was there again. Two dishes, two drinks, the waiter wanted to take €63 from me. After I said that that couldn't be the case, the price was corrected to €36. I did a quick check on the card and I would have had to pay €29. The waiters systematically try to exclude the customer. I will never set foot in this store again.

I've been visiting the restaurant for years and to this day the quality hasn't changed! The new furnishings and design are beautiful and the lighting makes it very cozy. The staff is always polite and courteous. There's a wide variety of food and drink options, and best of all, it's baked in a stone oven and grilled over charcoal. So they renovated the inside, it looks good, the prices have become really outrageous, they just charged 4-5 euros more for almost every menu. We paid 100 euros for 4 people. At the end we wanted to drink tea 4 times. It cost 6 euros extra, so 1 kg of tea costs 6.00 euros!!!!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Bielefeld. The skewers are so delicious, really fantastic and so is the rice. Everything else tastes good too. If you want to eat delicious skewers, you should eat there. Parking there is stupid and not cheap because of the city center. It's best if you don't have a car, otherwise you'll pay as much for parking as you do for food. In summer the place has a great atmosphere, not just on weekend evenings...

It was my first time here and I would come back again. The service was very friendly. The food came quickly and was very tasty. I've had better grape leaves as a starter somewhere else, but it's a high level of complaint. I sat outside in the weather, which is also just ok. I thought it was great that all the places were in the shade. But I found the posers driving around in their overpriced rental cars and making noise to be more of a nuisance. Too bad. Otherwise the restaurant is in a great location. Directly downtown. I think next time I'll look for a place inside.

Highly recommended late at night! We visited the restaurant in Bielefeld around midnight. The service was very attentive and brought food and drinks in a reasonable time. (Since there wasn't a lot going on at the time, I can't judge how accurate this is at peak times) Sitting in the back of the restaurant is very comfortable. The falafel salad was delicious, although the falafel didn't taste too fresh. The meat, on the other hand, was said to not have been bad, but not to my personal taste. Lg.

I had a kebab plate with chicken with fries and Ayran as a drink. It was my first time there and I found it a bit expensive in terms of value for money when I now compare prices with Bavaria. It may be that the prices here are normal. I thought the food was great, it was manageable and it tasted good too. The only thing that bothered me is that, firstly, we didn't get much bread, even though there were two of us and we both had the same dish, we only got 4 strips of bread in total. It's really a disgrace. The bread was filling and tasted like it was a few days old and I had the feeling that we had the leftovers from the day before. Ambience was cozy and large.
