Yen-Yen China Restaurant in Schleswig

We booked for the buffet on a Sunday evening. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and the selection was large. The food was replenished regularly and in a timely manner, so that everything on offer was always available. We recommend, on the one hand, to reserve a table in good time, as the restaurant was very busy and, on the other hand, to take cash with you - card payment is not possible.

Right at the entrance you can tell that there is no lack of class here. Cleanliness, speed, everything top here. Drinks are also available with 0.5 liters of cola for 3, 20 € totally ok We would love to come back

I was here again for the first time in about 30 years. Back then there wasn't a daily buffet. The restaurant was full and the buffet was constantly being refilled as long as I was there, which speaks for the really attentive service staff. There was almost everything you would expect from Asian cuisine, starter soups, salad, various dishes, rice, noodles, various sauces, ice cream, coffee. Everything tasted, even if not necessarily exceptional, partly like ready meals. The problem started about an hour after eating. Although I never particularly fill my stomach, I had a never-ending belching, partly sour and partly with an unpleasant fatty taste. I couldn't sleep peacefully half the night. Maybe it was just me, but I haven't had an experience like that in a long time. The rooms are clean, as are the sanitary facilities, but what was noticeable here was that the toilets didn't flush properly despite several attempts. Of course I didn't try them all, but another visitor also complained about this. All in all, a good place to eat comfortably with several people and get your fill, not necessarily for sensitive stomachs or gourmets.

After eating we all had stomach problems. Service was very attentive.

The buffet is always very tasty and fresh, everything is always there. Large selection, the service is good, super friendly, you can also laugh together! If something does happen, it will be dealt with very professionally. Always very happy. I love it. Unfortunately it can be a bit noisy at times, but the restaurant can't help that. And the aquarium can be expanded.

I don't have any expectations of anything these days, but I was really pleasantly surprised here and I'll definitely be back. The food was very tasty and the staff was friendly and quick.

When we go on vacation, we usually spend one night in Schleswig and always eat at Yen-Yen there. And we love it! It's overcrowded (it's best to reserve in advance) but it's super tasty, there's a lot of choice, there's something for everyone and it's always refilled promptly if something runs out. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and I have always been satisfied there! If it were near us, I would be a regular customer there! :)

The buffet was, as always, very tasty. Favorite: almond-crusted chicken and shrimp. On weekends you should make a reservation in the evening as it is very busy.

Very friendly and cheap - thank you very much for that. Unfortunately, it's not really "cheap" because it's rather third-rate in terms of taste and quality, and most of the food on the buffet is only lukewarm at most 30 minutes after opening. Canned fruit salad, mostly fried stuff with meat. Great if you want to consume as many unhealthy calories as cheaply as possible. Not my thing.

Been here for the first and definitely not the last time. Very good quality buffet with a very good selection. I think it's good when more emphasis is placed on quality than quantity when choosing a buffet, which I think is the case here. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. And I think that the price-performance ratio is right.

For other branches, this is the worst branch. Sorry, I saw that.

The buffet is great and tastes good. In my opinion the seasoning is a bit too European, but I still give it 5 stars. The staff is friendly, quick and attentive. The food was quickly delivered to the buffet and the drinks were quickly at the table.

We have been regular customers here for years. The quality and taste of the food is consistently very good. Good selection for a lunch buffet. Food is hot and constantly replenished. Coffee from the machine is included in the buffet price, as are various types of ice cream. Children receive a lollipop when they say goodbye. The cola comes from the machine and unfortunately has hardly any carbonation. Very friendly staff! Free parking spaces are available. There are stairs leading to the restaurant.

When you enter the restaurant you first walk directly past the buffet. There is no proper reception. The selection is not very large. Some of the meat was very tough/too well done. Unfortunately there is only ice cream for dessert. Very nice staff.

Food and service is okay. Unfortunately no card payment possible. It would be better to point this out when ordering a table by phone and on the website.

So far the best Chinese buffet that my friend and I know. Consistently good food and a good selection. The meat in particular was very tender and the price-performance ratio was wonderful. You can also have a good chat. We are very satisfied. Gladly again.

Unfortunately there was almost no vegetarian food, and nothing was offered even upon request. I had to leave hungry...a no go these days. For dessert, 3 types of ice cream, which were smeared in plastic boxes in the chest and looked unappetizing. I've rarely seen such a bad buffet.

Price top, even the drinks in all you can advise are usually quite expensive, salary is a bit small but the mirror doesn't make it seem cramped, food was quite manageable but always made sure that it was warm and fresh.

We were visiting Schleswig and were not allowed into this restaurant. Because we had a small dog in a dog bag with us. A real shame ! On the website we looked at before it didn't say that dogs were forbidden. A long journey in vain with unfriendly staff

We were at Yen-Yen for the first time on Sunday and without a reservation we got the last available table. The service was very polite and accommodating. The food at the buffet was incredibly good and very filling. It's worth a visit here and we'll be happy to come back.

More like a train station restaurant. At the entrance area and passage to the tables you have to walk through the buffet aisle. Very unhygienic. The choice of food was ok, a lot of baked goods, nothing fresh, everything just in extremely glutamate sauce. Unfortunately you didn't pass the second chance.

Schon beim Eintritt Empfang mich mit einem Lächeln die Betreiberin des Restaurants. Die mir ein Platz zu wies, die Auswahl und das Essen ist gut. Macht alles einen sauberen Eindruck auch das WC. Und ein grosser Parkplatz vor der Tür.

Wenn chinesisch ,dann vom Buffet, hier echt lecker.Tisch vorbestellen ist ratsam.Preis/ Leistung gut.

Leider nur Buffet, Essen wenig asiatisch durch fehlende typische Gewürze. Acht Kostbarkeiten waren keine 8 (!) Kostbarkeiten. Und am folgenden Tag hatten wir Magen-Darmprobleme.

Ich habe mir die negativen Bewertungen durchgelesen und kann mich nicht anschließen. Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet , der Service umsichtig , Ambiente total schön . Es ist ja auch kein ChineE sondern Asiatisch . Und Asien ist groß und kulturell unterschiedlich . Wir sind hier öfter und fahren dafür 150 km . Und von wegen nichts für Rollstuhlfahrer, ein klitzekleiner Umweg und aucch für diese Menschen ist der Weg frei . Ratsam ist es, sich einen Tisch zu bestellen, ist eben gerne besucht . Danke an das Yen Yen - Team. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu euch!

In der Mittagszeit und in der Woche, war das Restaurant voll besetzt. Das sagt schon fast alles, klasse Bedienung, leckeres Essen, leider hab ich mir nur was mitgenommen, statt das Buffet zu genießen. Das nächste Mal werde ich dort das Buffet nehmen. Mittags nur 12,90€. Sehr empfehlenswert

Typisches Asia Restaurant. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist sehr gross. Typische Chinesische aber auch Thailändische Speisen die etwas schärfer seien könnten, abee für den Europäer ausreichend. Die sonst üblich laute Chinesische Musik läuft leise im Hintergrund. Also nicht störend. Das Ambiente typisch Asiatisch mit den Wasserfall Bildern und verpiegelten Wänden. Die WC's sind nicht die modernsten/schönsten, aber es soll ja auch keine Keramikaustellung sein, sondernn ein Restaurant, also ist es völlig ok so. Leider keine Kartenzahlung möglich, das ist aber die einzige Kritik an dem Restaurant.

Wir waren heute endlich unseren Gutschein einlösen und wurden mit sehr leckerem Essen verwöhnt. Ein besonderes Lob möchten wir dem Service aussprechen. Vielen Dank für das große entgegenkommen!

Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut. Wir haben hier Mittagessen gehabt. Man kann für 12,90€ so viel essen, wie er schaffen kann. Ed ist ein Büfett. Es gibt verschiedene Arten vom Essen und alle sind lecker.

Essen war ganz okay, Buffet nicht so gross wie man es gewohnt ist aus größeren Städten, was stört ist das wenn man am Buffet steht und neue Gäste rein kommen, die einem quasi in die Arme laufen weil man direkt am Buffet steht wenn man den Laden betritt. Der Löffel für Eis liegt in einem nicht appetitlichen Wasser, das kenne ich anders aus anderen Läden, dort kann man ihn spülen unter fließend Wasser. Das sind die dinge die mir negativ aufgefallen sind.

Suppen, Salate, Eis, Kaffee und alles was zum Buffet gehört ist im Preis enthalten.

Ein typische Restaurant für asiatische Gerichte und auch wenn sich das jetzt evtl. für Dich etwas oberflächlich liest, meine ich das sehr positiv. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist völlig in Ordnung und das Angebot ist relativ breit gefächert. Für den Nachtisch werden auch diverse Eissorten und mehr angeboten, die im Buffetpreis inbegriffen sind. Uns schmeckte es sehr gut und wir werden definitiv wieder hingehen. Die Preise sind moderat und nicht überzogen. Für 2 Personen und jeweils 1 Getränk haben wir 42,-€ (am Abend) gezahlt. Wir hatten Buffet und jeder eine Selters. WICHTIG: Keine EC-Kartenzahlung, sondern ausschließlich Bargeld. Bei allen Speisen waren Schilder platziert, wo nicht nur die Speisen beschrieben wurden, sondern auch weitere Infos, ob sie scharf sind oder Knoblauch enthalten, ect. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr aufmerksam und kümmert sich, auf eine sympathische Art und Weise, nicht nur um leere Teller auf den Tischen, auch wird hier und da sehr freundlich mit den Gästen sich unterhalten. Die Behälter des Buffet werden sehr regelmäßig wieder aufgefüllt und bei uns kam es nicht vor, das etwas nicht angeboten werden konnte. Das Essen war immer frisch und heiß. Der Eingangsbereich ist suboptimal, denn da kommen und gehen die Gäste und da befindet sich zusätzlich auch das Buffet. Das ist aber, für mich, nur ein kleiner Abzug des Gesamtkonzept. Wie bei jedem Restaurant, was Buffet anbietet, gibt es fast schon im Minutentakt Stoßzeiten, wo man am Tisch entspannt abwarten kann, wann es am Buffet leerer wird und man selbst hingehen kann um sich zu bedienen. Die Geräuschekulisse war in Ordnung. Nicht zu laut oder störend. Parkplätze gibt es genügend und vom Parkplatz geht man keine 60 Sekunden ins Restaurant. Für einen Samstag Abend hatten wir telefonisch den Tisch reserviert, was gut war, denn das Restaurant war um 18:00 Uhr knacke voll. Als Hintergrundinfo: Das Restaurant kann man auch für ein Konfirmationsessen, ect. nutzen. Dazu werden im hinteren Bereich dann Tische zu einer langen Tafel arrangiert. Nutzt man das zB bei einem Mittagsbuffet, wird es noch einmal billiger.
