We went for lunch, 5 of us, for a birthday. But the waitress kept telling us three times that the open buffet would be closed. Our plates were cleared away immediately and she kept watching us as if we had to go. The lunch was average.

The food was delicious as always, with a good to large selection, including sushi. Non-alcoholic drinks are included in the buffet 👍🏼

A wonderful place where my family and I often spend time. The food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The price of lunch includes drinks and a glass of wine or beer. You can also play the piano. A pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend it.

In my opinion, the largest Asian restaurant in the Aschaffenburg area. I don't need the robot. The variety of dishes is enormous, especially if you book the all-you-can-eat option. I find it expensive, especially in the evenings and on weekends, especially since you come to eat, not drink. The free drink isn't that interesting, though. Despite that, the place is always full when you go in.

We went to the restaurant at 8:00 p.m., and there was hardly any food at the buffet. Despite the €66 price tag for two, there was hardly any choice. There was practically no meat left, and when we asked, we were told that it was completely empty, then they would refill it.

Unfortunately, my visit to this all-you-can-eat restaurant was anything but satisfactory. First of all, the service was poor; the waiters seemed disinterested. The staff was quite unfriendly. When making a written reservation, I mentioned "Birthday!", but nothing was there, and even after mentioning it, nothing happened. We had high expectations for this all-you-can-eat restaurant, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The selection was extremely limited, especially for the hot dishes. Many dishes weren't freshly prepared, but seemed to have been sitting there for a very long time. The meat dishes were tough and tasteless. To make matters worse, we had to watch as the raw leftovers from the day, like fish and meat, were routinely packed in Tupperware, collected, and carted around unrefrigerated... certainly not to be disposed of, but...😝🤑 We won't be coming again.

Simply a top-notch buffet. Everything you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant. I'd especially like to highlight that drinks are included in the buffet price. An absolute highlight, of course, is the robot that delivers the freshly prepared food from the grill directly to your table.

The food is fresh, which we as buffet visitors wouldn't believe. The salads, fish, and meat are perfect. The chefs at their woks are great, as is the staff. The soft drinks are just run-of-the-mill, but you have the option of getting fresh juices from the fridge. Great value for money... Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. I just feel that eating with family is a private experience these days 😉

Excellent buffet experience at Yanida – a definite recommendation! I was really pleasantly surprised by Yanida! Compared to other Chinese buffet restaurants in the Mainz area, the food here stands out in terms of flavor. I usually focus on the grilled dishes at buffets, as the ready-made dishes are often not very impressive. It was different at Yanida: The ready-made dishes were all delicious, and I didn't feel like I was missing out. It's understandable that the food isn't replenished as quickly after around 9 p.m., but this was completely acceptable and didn't detract from the overall positive impression. The staff were mostly very friendly. Occasionally, they seemed a bit demanding, especially at the checkout or when they repeatedly checked the children's ages, which seems a bit unnecessary given the obviously small children at the table. However, this is a minor criticism compared to the excellent overall package. I would particularly like to highlight the small children's corner where our little ones could let off steam – a truly great feature! Even though the dessert selection could be a bit larger, the buffet offers everything you could wish for. An absolute highlight and a major advantage over the competition is that drinks are included in the buffet. This is truly fantastic and makes the value unbeatable! Overall, I highly recommend Yanida and would gladly return!

First time there. We had the lunch buffet for €22.90, including soft drinks. A glass of beer or wine would have been included. You had to get your own drinks. The staff was only there to clear tables. The food selection was disappointingly small. Other Asian buffets offer more for less.

We were very disappointed this time. First, we were bluntly offered a table. Buffet food? That's what they asked us, and the waitress disappeared. Second, there was hardly any food selection. The Peking soup smelled like a cow had bathed in it. No liver, which my husband loves. And then, to top it all off, they take away your glass, which should have still had something to drink in it. The price of €33.90, for a meal with hardly any choice, is far too expensive. Asia Paradise has more options. It's just a shame. But that was the last time we went there. I'm really, really disappointed.

(I still had to eat because of the €3 fine; I threw up in the toilet afterwards, no lie!) The drinks on tap weren't tasty. A pure rip-off!

There were three of us here on a Sunday evening. It was fairly empty, but very loud. The service staff were not very motivated. The grill staff, however, were even more so. They were diligently cleaning the extractor hoods while the teppanyaki grill was in use. The employees were not standing on ladders—no, they were standing directly on the work surface with their shoes. Some food containers were empty when we arrived at around 7:15 p.m.; we assumed they would be refilled. At around 9:00 p.m., everything was still empty. For just under €105 (3 people), that's an outrageous price. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not match the high price.

The evening buffet is more expensive (approx. €33), but it's considerably more extensive than at lunch (approx. €24). Soft drinks are included, as much as you like, plus one alcoholic beverage (beer, etc.) if you wish. The food is delicious. From sushi, salad, soup, various main courses, side dishes, items still to be prepared, fruit, cakes, and ice cream, everything is available. The buffet always made a clean, tidy impression. Tables were immediately prepared for the next guest. If you have food prepared, it is brought to your table by a robot.

This was our first time at Yanida in a while. We liked the atmosphere. The staff were a bit too quick for me: glasses and plates were sometimes cleared away without asking, even though we could have reused them. The food selection was okay, but not what I was used to. Unfortunately, a lot of it was pretty bland. I didn't try the grilled food. The dessert buffet was a big disappointment. There's definitely room for improvement here. If there's a chocolate fountain, it would be great to also have a selection of fresh fruit. As it was, we only had the option of having the soft drink covered in chocolate. All in all, the visit was okay, but we're not entirely sure if we'll come again.

We just went to the lunch buffet. We were greeted warmly. There's a very good selection of fried dishes. There's also a wide selection of teppanyaki dishes and desserts. Despite the restaurant not being too busy, everything that was empty was refilled. Drinks are included for €22.90 per person, an unbeatable price. And as a special treat, there's a service robot that brings the teppanyaki dishes to your table. This won't be the last time we're here.

Best Chinese/Mongolian restaurant in the area. The food there is of very good quality and is constantly replenished fresh and good. The staff is very friendly and nice and I like to come here often.

We've been coming here for years now. But after a long break because we were no longer satisfied with the quality of the last visit, we visited Yanida again. It was even more disappointing than before, even though it was an evening visit. The buffet prices, with all you can drink, are simply too expensive for what is on offer. Food, including soup, was partly cold and no longer appetizing, the duck was dry. Friendliness has never been a benchmark here. All together, no feeling of well-being possible. The other guests probably noticed this too, because it was almost empty.

There is an open buffet application. It makes you feel like you are in a hotel in Türkiye. You can buy whatever you want for 30 euros. They cook the seafood or meat you like on the stove and serve it to your table with the Robot. If it's your birthday, the Robot sings a birthday song and brings a cake to your table.

It's just starting to get annoying. As soon as there are only bad reviews on the internet the store is running. If there are no good reviews again, it's an absolute catastrophe!!!! Sorry but today was our last visit! 3 adults 1 child 6 years 81€ sorry but it wasn't worth it at all today!

Mass processing...never again, the roaster was full of everything, fish, meat and vegetarian dishes all in one broth. That wasn't tasty. Most of the food at the buffet was cold. The service was unfriendly.

Just bad. Very bad service for €104.70. There were 3 of us and we didn't have any extra drinks. Definitely no longer reflected. The only thing that helps is cooking yourself.

Update 2025-04-19 Went there today for my daughter's birthday. Typical Chinese buffet with weaknesses: - No kimchi - No tuna sushi - Only vanilla ice cream, although the machine didn't work at all today. No other varieties to portion yourself, as you know. For the price of 34.90 it's almost a little poor - nothing against the price, but then you have to pay accordingly. All in all - nothing special and lags a bit behind other equivalent offers in my opinion. Friendly service and comfortable chairs. The service staff for clearing away were very nice and really on the ball - very good.

As always, a special pleasure. No matter whether it's food or service, everything is always perfect and we are 100% satisfied every time.

Yanida is an all you can eat and drink restaurant. When I was there it was Sunday evening. It was quite crowded. You could even have something fried, which you had previously put on a plate and clipped from the table. For my taste it was nothing special. The bedside table was a bit poor. The price was also quite high for what was offered. All in all it was okay. Not particularly good or bad.

I've been here many times and I always really like the food. The service is great, the concept is good. I like that drinks were included in the all inclusive. The selection of drinks is ok - I used to think it was better with bottled drinks - now there are only syrup drinks that you can tap yourself. I also particularly like that you can choose your own ingredients and then have them freshly fried. You will get them served after a short time if it is not super crowded. The only thing that needs to be improved in my opinion is the vegetarian/vegan range of ready-made dishes and the very clear labeling of what is in it or the labeling "vegetarian" (even if there is no meat in it, the product could not be vegetarian). This also exists in other restaurants of this type and by 2025 it should actually be normal for something like this to be labeled. That would definitely help a lot of people.

Been there for the first time. The restaurant was well filled and yet you just felt comfortable. The buffet left nothing to be desired. The taste is excellent and all the employees are extremely friendly despite the full house. From my point of view, the price is completely okay. Definitely worth a visit.

Six months ago it was different. The fasting food is hardly seasoned. As soon as my plate is empty, it's already gone even though I'm still chewing. Maybe things will get better when I go back sometime.

Never ever again!!!! Last night we ate at Yanida Aschaffenburg again for a long time. Unfortunately, the first disillusionment didn't take long to come when we visited the buffet and discovered that instead of the usual soft drinks like Coca Cola, Tradewinds iced tea, etc. there were only 2 syrup dispensers with stuff that was completely over-sweetened. As always, the buffet was full of all kinds of Asian cuisine, which we couldn't complain about at first. Unfortunately, the second no go came when I asked the waiter for a white wine spritzer, he asked me if we hadn't received any tickets. I said no and he went to the counter right next to our table and said in a very flippant tone that he had already asked us if we would like to drink our alcoholic drink, which we said no when we first arrived. Will I be told when I have to drink the drink that is included in my "all you can eat & drink price"? Well, I then got a card and was able to pick up my white wine spritzer at the bar. In the end, two people paid a whopping €67.80 for Asian food and sugar water. Unfortunately, the spook didn't end after our visit because I unfortunately discovered that there was something wrong with the food there, whole and garnished. Two hours after our visit, I was allowed to think about the entire meal again for almost the entire night. There is a plus point for the nice ladies and gentlemen from the service in the black T-shirts, the plates were always cleared quickly and they were all very friendly. However, we will definitely never visit this restaurant again! Food poisoning is enough for me.

Unfortunately, one has to say that the quality has dropped a lot in the last few months, especially all the sauces from the Mongolian range are very weak, e.g. the Thai curry sauce tastes like nothing and the Mongolian sauce is also supposedly "very hot", which is also not true. Likewise, the peanut sauce is no longer worth mentioning. You can also tell that the staff at the grill is not fit and the meat is often burnt. But what is good is the waiter. Some of the meat tasted spoiled and my daughter was hanging over the bowl a day later. The ready-made buffet was relatively small and a lot of fried vegetables were not refilled. Sometimes you had to stand for a while to get to the product you wanted because everything was very narrow. But there was a large selection of dishes that you could put together and fry yourself. Sauces have little taste. Drinks to pour yourself were too warm. In the evening they also charge 10 euros more than at lunchtime. I can't say whether there is less choice or whether you just want to get more money out of people's pockets in the evening as this was my first and last visit here. Otherwise very loud, very narrow. Empty plates were quickly cleared away without comment. The employee who accompanied us to the table was friendly and came every half hour to ask if everything was OK. Unfortunately there were no parking spaces and you had to go towards the city center and search. Certainly not easy for people who are not local.

If you like fish, you'll get your money's worth. Unfortunately, the sushi is not recommended, the rest of the buffet is okay but nothing special either. We found potato gratin, Brussels sprouts, giant beans, feta, olives and boiled eggs a bit strange and inappropriate. The dessert has nothing to do with Asian desserts (except for the baked bananas). Unfortunately not our taste. We will come back just because of the fish buffet and Mongolian grill.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! We went to birthday dinner on January 13th, 2025. Unfortunately, we left the restaurant with a stomach ache. This was followed by repeated vomiting and diarrhea so that it was not possible to go to work the next day. We paid 130 euros for 4 people. The next day I went to the restaurant to talk about it calmly. Unfortunately there was no approach. I was referred to my family doctor. It's a shame and absolutely not recommended. Stay away from the salmon because all 4 of us had it.

Because you can't start with 0 stars, I'm forced to give Yanida 1 star. Apart from the fact that the food at the buffet is too expensive, it is [no longer fresh]. It's just too old and hard to swallow, which makes my stomach feel like it's loaded with stones. The service hardly noticed me and when it came to paying they were right there as if they couldn't wait for me to leave. If you just look at the ambience as the place it is then it's quite nice with the large aquariums at the entrance but their seating islands are just placed too close together. As a result, it makes it quite stressful for the visitor to walk back to his seat with his full plate, glass and cutlery
