Absolutely good cuisine, nice and humorous service. Positive: Water flat rate - should become commonplace everywhere. I recommend one dish for light eaters and two dishes for normal eaters.

The food is amazing and in particular the best Greek food I've ever had outside of Greece. I've enjoyed coming here again and again for years. Unfortunately, the last two experiences have been very disappointing in terms of service, especially for this price. For example, last Friday: We were ignored for a long time, had to wait a long time for all our orders (e.g. we had already been sitting for 20 minutes before we could place our drink order) and, apart from a nice waitress, everyone was annoyed and didn't treat us courteously. No “good evening”, no “bon appetit” or anything like that. Unfortunately, we didn't feel comfortable the last two times because of this and we won't be coming back for the time being.

Busy restaurant with the Greek version of tapas. You can try out the various interesting dishes, which sometimes stand out from the “Greek” next door. In terms of price, the price here is on the higher side, but it is also justified. Unfortunately, there were some waiting times during service where the items weren't cleared away or you couldn't order new drinks. You should try it out!

The food was very tasty and the price was right! Unfortunately, after the first round of drinks, you weren't asked if you wanted something to drink.

It was very delicious. Only smaller meals are served, similar to Spanish tapas. We paid €65 for 4 drinks and 6 of these dishes. As I said, delicious and we were full.

Yesterday we went to Yamas in Bochum for the first time with 6 people. I was amazed by the great quality of the food. Everything was really tasty, fresh and creative and carefully prepared. Despite the full restaurant and the very hot temperatures outside, the waiters were in a good mood and friendly. It was this great kind of natural friendliness and wit that didn't seem fake but authentic. They are smaller tapas portions (which are not really “small”). It is advisable to choose 2-3 per person and then of course share. It's fun to try so many different things. At the end we were recommended an ouzo, which was wonderfully soft. The ouzo selection, like the wine list, is really large and is described in the menu with nice information about the corresponding drink. Sure, the whole thing wasn't cheap, but it was worth every euro! Great team, my husband and I will definitely come back and even travel from the Lower Rhine again! Next time maybe in Dortmund too.

Enjoyed the delicacies at lunchtime today. I added the salad from the weekly menu, which was simply incredibly fresh and particularly tasty. Great! In terms of size alone, it would have been enough. We were there for the first time and it was just really good. The food was super tasty and authentic. Service was very courteous and friendly. You can sit very well both inside and outside. At the moment this is the best restaurant I have ever visited in Bochum. The food is incredible. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that they added a dish to our bill that we ordered and therefore didn't eat. Unfortunately we noticed this the next day. I think I will come back here again. And if everything goes well next time, I'm willing to give it 5 stars.

And the pride in the wine list is justified: if you want to taste your way through a competently curated selection of Greek wines, this is the right place for you. Not all cheap, but worth the money. A restaurant is considered excellent if the cuisine can maintain its high standard. This has been the case at Yamas for years. We had ten different mezedes for three people, including “classics” like Oktapodi or Fava and, for the first time, the vegetarian Stifado. A real pleasure. With a bottle of Moschofilero it was another perfect evening. Efcharisto poli.

Absolutely delicious food, cozy and casual atmosphere, dogs are also welcome. A bit busy at times, perhaps not particularly suitable for a romantic dinner. Not exactly cheap, but worth every cent. I'll be back again!

With his concept, Stavros offers a completely different type of Greek cuisine, namely a large selection of creatively prepared Greek delicacies (mezédes) and selected wines from different Greek regions. Every time we order a variety of mezédes, which are spread around the table for everyone to try. Everything freshly prepared and very tasty. Plus one of the excellent wines from various Greek wineries. The service is very friendly and accommodating and responds quickly to guests' requests, even if the restaurant is fully booked. Mal richtig lecker. Lohnt sich wirklich. Wir waren da zum Teamessen. Der Kellner hat sich unsere Essgewohnheiten (Laktose-Intoleranz, veganer, Vegetarier, Allergie) gemerkt und und entsprechend, beim Servieren, aufmerksam gemacht. Alle waren sehr nett. Tolles Lokal. Reservierung nötig. Toiletten sind sauber und riechen gut. Gerne komme ich/ wir wieder

Der andere und bessere Grieche. Lecker und gut. Hier wird feine griechische Küche serviert. Einfach fantastisch. Dazu ein freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Schöner kann man einen griechischen Abend im verregneten Bochum nicht verbringen.

Einfach absolut enttäuschend. Wer hier eine authentische griechische Küche erwartet, wird bitter enttäuscht und ist hier völlig fehl am Platz. Mit griechischer Küche hatte das leider wirklich nichts zu tun. Zwar waren Service und Ambiente soweit okay, aber griechisches Essen geht anders. Wir werden jedenfalls nicht wiederkommen.

Ich war letzte Woche mit meiner Freundin das erste Mal dort. Leider gab es Schwierigkeiten mit der Elektrik und es dauerte eine Weile bis klar war, ob die Küche geöffnet werden konnte. Nach 45 min durften wir bestellen, vor allem hatten wir vegetarische Vorspeisen, alles sehr gut, nur leider müssen wie hier anmerken, dass die Portionen wirklich klein sind im Verhältnis zum Preis. Ein Gericht war sowas von versalzen, das haben wir auch gemeldet aber tatsächlich hatten wir den Eindruck, das interessiert niemanden. Auch wurde uns aufgrund der langen Wartezeit bzw versalzenen Speise kein kleines Dessert o.ä. angeboten. Schade da entsteht der Eindruck, es wird sich keine Mühe gegeben. Von daher kein zweiter Besuch geplant.

Tolles griechisches Mezé Restaurant. Das sehr helle Ambiente ist modern und gemütlich zugleich. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Getränke und Speisen werden sehr schnell zum Tisch gebracht. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Mezé von vegetarisch über Fleisch bis zu Fisch. Alles schmeckt wirklich toll und ist nicht zu ölig. Auch der Nachtisch ist lecker.

Schönes mediterranes Restaurant, jedoch ist es sehr laut dort drin. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und in süßen Schalen angerichtet. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Personal. Als wir reinkamen wurden wir von der ersten Servicekraft nicht begrüßt oder angesprochen, es musste erst jemand von weiter hinten kommen, um unsere Reservierung nachzuschauen. Außerdem war das Personal eher weniger aufmerksam und eher weniger freundlich.

Gute Auswahl. Für jeden was dabei. Beste mezes bisher die ich außerhalb von Griechenland gegessen habe. Service sehr gut.

Platzverhältnisse für 6 Personen etwas beengt und sehr laut. Essen war sehr lecker und absolut empfehlenswert. Leitungswasser abzufüllen und für 5,60 (0,75l) zu verkaufen ist eine originelle Geschäftsidee! Bisher hatten wir in der Gastronomie dafür noch nicht bezahlt, allerdings war die Karaffe auch noch nie so schön……

Zeer lekker gegeten bij dit echt Griekse restaurant, vriendelijke bediening en gezellige & frisse sfeer. Het menu is een fijne mix tussen klassiekers zoals de tzatziki en voor mij nieuwe smaken zoals de honing-feta en halva (gemaakt van sesam). Echt een aanrader!

Die Portionen sind für 4 Leute zum probieren genug und man bestellt für jeden zwischen 2 und 4 Gerichte. Einfach tolles Konzept, das Essen war sehr lecker und wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Wir mussten zwar an der Tür länger warten bevor jemand gekommen ist, haben aber, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, einen Tisch bekommen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und auch das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Man kann hier Meze (das sind alles kleine Gerichte) essen. Dabei hat man die Wahl zwischen Salaten, Fleisch-, Fisch- und vegetarischen Gerichten. Wenn es voll ist, ist es aber sehr laut im Restaurant und man kann sich dann schlecht unterhalten.

Wir waren zu viert da und waren ohne Ausnahme sehr zufrieden! Wir hatten die Griechische Version des Spanischen Tapas , Mezzedes. Das Essen war klasse, der Service war aufmerksam, flott und freundlich! Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut top. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls gut, allerdings ist es etwas laut. Also nix für nen romantischen Abend zu zweit.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe vor Ort. Die Speisen sind schnell für alle serviert worden. Die Bedienungen gaben sich Mühe.

Wer gerne kaltes Essen haben möchte und auf Getränke wartete ist dort super aufgehoben. Dazu Plastikblumen auf dem Tisch. Einmal und nie wieder

Wir waren mit einer Gesellschaft da. Getränke gab es nur wenn man sich aktiv angestrengt hat um etwas zu bekommen. Essen war lecker aber es gab noch nicht einmal alle Gerichte die im "Buffet Menü" vereinbart waren. Auf Nachfrage hätten wir noch ein Menü für 33,50€ nachbuchen müssen. Nachtisch war ebenfalls für Diabetiker geeignet (alles in allem ist keiner von 23 Personen satt geworden). Ein bisschen enttäuschend bei den Bewertungen. Vielleicht ist es beim täglichen a la carte Geschäft nicht so. Hoffentlich...

Leider nicht mehr so gut , wie es früher mal war. Essen Qualität hat nachgelassen, Preise Extrem gestiegen - Service ist das einzige was noch sehr gut ist . PS. 1 Portion Zaziki 5,50 ohne Brot

Mal Griechisch auf die andere Art. Kleine Portionen eben Tapas dafür verschiedene Auswahl zu guten Preisen. Lokal recht voll und gut besucht. Den obligatorischen griechisch Schnaps gab es nur gegen Bezahlung.
