The food was quite good, but I've had much better sushi and Asian food. I found the atmosphere cold and unloving, but that's a matter of taste. The man who served us was very nice, but seemed annoyed. I thought the prices were too high for what we got. None of us were full after one dish.

Many dishes are served with plain rice, while the meat portion is much higher in most Asian restaurants. Long waits for drinks. The restaurant was unfortunately not very clean; the trash cans were overflowing and overflowing in the kitchen area. We eat Asian food a lot in Dresden, and this was the most expensive and worst food we've had. What's the use if the staff is friendly, but everything else isn't. We won't be back and can't recommend it after our visit.

We had, among other things: • Fresh summer rolls as an appetizer – wonderfully light with crunchy vegetables and a flavorful fish sauce. • Pho Bo – a hearty Vietnamese beef soup with tender meat, fresh herbs, and a perfectly balanced broth. • Red curry with duck – creamy, spicy, and just the right amount of heat. • And to finish, a mochi ice cream. The ingredients were noticeably fresh and high-quality, and the cooking was evidently done with great attention to detail. Conclusion: Yam Yam is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants I've ever visited. Everything is just right here – from the ambiance to the service to the quality of the food. Wir waren spontan hier Essen, da dasThai Viet Restaurant am Wasserwerk Tolkewitz Urlaub hatte. Kein Vergleich, zu teuer, Essen nicht gut gewürzt und geringe Auswahl sowie lange Wartezeiten. Preis Leistung ist nicht Nachvollziehbar, es wird viel Reis verarbeitet, auch bei den teuren Vorspeisen. Die Angestellten sind freundlich, dass Essen entspricht aber dem Preis nicht, es wird viel mit Optik Kaschiert. Schade, wir wissen nicht wo die guten Bewertungen her kommen. Auch beim bezahlen an derTheke standen übervolle Mülleimer herum.

Yesterday, when I asked, I was brought a bowl of sauce without the accompanying vegetables - just soup. The waiter looked at my plate to see if the sauce was left. Unfortunately, I was also charged for the sauce. He said he would pass it on to the kitchen, but how could he? The food was eaten, especially since he hadn't pointed out that it would cost extra. Honestly, it's a shame, but we won't be going here again.

Food was really great. I often eat Asian food, mostly in Dresden Neustadt. But this was different somehow. Better! Service was normally good. Due to the construction site in front of the location, the ambience can only be rated as neutral.

Service and atmosphere was good (4 stars). However, the food we got was unfortunately tasteless (1 star) which was really sad.

I just think everything is great here! Sitting outside is fine, despite the loud street. The food tastes very good and there are creative dishes.

Da die Baustelle auf der Österreicher Straße nicht sehr geschäftsfreundlich ist hatten wir dieses Restaurant ausgesucht. Das Wetter war schön und wir sassen trotz Baulärm draussen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auch das Essen lies nicht lange auf sich warten. Wir waren überrascht von den exotischen und ausergewöhnlichen Speisen die sehr gut schmeckten. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Great cuisine, but steep prices. At 15.50 euros for a beef soup (pho) the fun ends for me! Before Corona it was already 13 euros, but now over 15 euros? In a big city like Berlin or Glasgow (UK) you pay up to half as much - you should be aware of that. And it's similar with other dishes. For Laubegast, this Vietnamese restaurant is ultimately too expensive. But as long as the guests still pay voluntarily...

We had dinner at YamYam in the evening. I had the Mi Gao dish and the YamYam summer rolls. Unfortunately the Mi Gao was too sweet for me due to the sauces. But apart from that it tasted good. My friend had the Curry Child dish. He thought it was great - which I can confirm. We both ordered the YamYam summer rolls. They were super tasty and fresh! The unique homemade drinks also impressed us. A very good value for money. Very tasty food with good portion sizes at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the dishes. Towards the end it got quite loud in the restaurant as it was busy. A reservation is recommended. We will be back definitely. Highly recommended :)

Absoluter Geheimtipp in Dresden den man mal besuchen sollte. Leckeres Essen was vom Preis auch stimmt und nicht überteuert ist. Auch heimische Bier gibt es aus Vietnam. Man kann drinnen sowie draußen speisen bei tollen Ambiente. Besuche ich definitiv wieder.

Sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet

Ich war mit meiner Freundin Abendessen. Die Tischreservierung online lief problemlos. Wir hatte uns ein paar Minuten verspätet, aber das war gar kein Problem. Die Bestellung wurde zeitnah aufgenommen und die Getränke schnell gebracht. Auf das Essen mussten wir etwas warten, was aber vollkommen im Rahmen war. Sehr lecker und von der Menge ausreichend.

Aufgrund der guten Rezensionen war das Yam Yam ein Restaurant, welches wir ausprobieren mussten. Im Außenbereich gibt es einige Sitzplätze und die gesamte Atmosphäre des Außenbereiches ist richtig gut und sehr ansprechend, vor allem durch die großen Sonnensegel. Man fühlt sich fast wie im Urlaub. Innen gibt es auch noch ein paar Sitzplätze. Leider waren wir vom Essen nicht so sehr angetan oder die Erwartungen waren einfach zu hoch. Das Sappa Village mit Reisnudeln hat einfach keinen asiatischen Touch gehabt, sondern hat mehr wie ein deutscher Gulasch geschmeckt. Vielleicht liegt es auch an dem hinzugegeben Rotwein. Das Fleisch war gut gegart und auch saftig, aber leider hatte ich nur 2 kleine Stücke Süßkartoffeln und mehr Möhren, welche nicht mit in der Karte standen. Dies hat nochmal den deutschen Gulasch Charakter Verstärkt. Auch die Reisnudeln waren leider zu lang im Wasser und damit war das Essen ein wenig erschwert. Zusätzlich hatten wir noch das Curry Kind mit Kurkuma Chicken, welches eine leckere Panade hatte und sehr saftig war. Das Gemüse war frisch und lecker und auch die Portion war gut. Sehr toll hingegen war frisch gemachte Limonade mit Zitronen und Minze.

So ein freundliches Personal habe ich selten erlebt in Restaurants, ich bin immer wieder sehr zufrieden.

Waren gestern das erste Mal im Yam Yam. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Alles modern und sauber. Bissel warten mussten wir allerdings bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Wir hatten aber Zeit. Mit unseren Freunden werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wer echtes Vietnamesische Gerichte essen will ist hier genau richtig. Mein Favorit ist ganz klar die Pho Bo Reissuppe! Einfach gut und deftig. Der "Biergarten" liegt zwar nah an einer Straße jedoch zur Prime Time gibt es kaum Verkehr und das Ambiente lässt von viel mühe sprechen, dass das nicht weiter Gewicht fällt.

Das Restaurant ist nicht so bekannt, aber irgendwie auch kein Geheimtipp mehr. Wohltuend anders war die Zubereitung des Essens. Es war authentisch, aber auch ein wenig an deutsche Essgewohnheiten angepasst. Insgesamt war es lecker und ein schöner Abend. Meine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.
