Incredible delicious All You Can Eat, food comes hot and fresh. The portions are smaller, but this is not a problem given the amount you can order. The service is very friendly, but unfortunately if there are too many people you can easily be overwhelmed.

The three of us ate here today. And it was incredibly tasty, sushi was super fresh. Everything else was always nice and warm and very tasty. The lady in service was also very, very friendly. We would love to come back. The price is also fair for the food.

We come here regularly and are super satisfied every time! The food is great and the service is always friendly and accommodating. The food comes quickly and the sushi is always very fresh. We love it here and would love to come back again and again!

Very nice all-you-can-eat shop. You order via a tablet and then get the food directly to your table. The menu is not quite as extensive as other restaurants with the same principle, but the food is consistently of excellent quality and the staff is very attentive and friendly.

Very good all you can eat sushi & grill restaurant. The quality and variety of the food was excellent and the price was completely reasonable. Particularly noteworthy are the White Tiger shrimp skewers and the fried sushi rolls, which we have never had in any all-you-can-eat restaurant. Service was also very nice and accommodating. Sitting comfortably, especially the benches here are easy to lean on, in almost all restaurants the backrest is too far back. Clear recommendation and in my opinion currently the best in MG and the surrounding area.

The three of us were there for the first time at the weekend, so we were really looking forward to it. There were two tables occupied besides us. It is therefore inexplicable to me how two wrong dishes could have been served on the first course. Unfortunately, this also happened in the second gear. If the food had been above average, it would have been easy to ignore. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. A lot of things were too salty. The service was nice but short. The ambience is appropriate. The possibly temporarily stored boxes of goods in the dining room appear untidy.

Great ambience, modern furnishings. Great concept with orders via tablet every 15 minutes. Sushi is always freshly prepared and tastes excellent. You want to eat more than your stomach can handle. Service very friendly, price absolutely okay for the fresh quality. We'd love to come back.

We've always eaten here for years and we're actually still satisfied, but I still have to say that a few dishes that used to be very good are no longer as tasty. I think the owners have replaced the chef or maybe new owners However, you can still eat sushi well

We have been regular guests for 3 years. I've already tried a few sushi places, but none of them could even begin to compete with this place. The owner recently changed here and I feared something bad, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi chef stayed and the food is just as delicious as before. Japanese beer will soon even be available on tap. Maybe we could offer more sushi creations in the future, which isn't mandatory but would be great. Best regards Regular guest

We have been regulars at this sushi restaurant for three years now and have tried over 10 other sushi places in different cities during this time - none come close to this one! Some reviews criticize the change in ownership and claim that the food has become worse. I absolutely cannot confirm that! On the contrary: the shrimp skewers have even gotten better, and soon there will be Kirin on tap here - something I'm looking forward to. What I would also like to see is perhaps a few new sushi creations and cooked dumplings instead of the fried dumplings. But that's really just a small wish on the side. I can fully recommend this sushi restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, especially the sushi is to die for!

New owner! Unfortunately the quality has fallen. The sushi wasn't tasty. The fish was not sushi quality. I would even say it wasn't fresh anymore. Some of the fried food was still raw. The service was hectic even though there wasn't much going on. Card payments are no longer possible either. An era is coming to an end here. We won't come back.

We have reserved a table for 5 people. However, we were more than expected that day, so we had to rebook for 9 people at short notice. This was accepted without any problems. When eating you could tell that only fresh ingredients were used and they were also super tasty. When we spontaneously asked for additional rice, our wish was fulfilled. The service was always very friendly and our every wish was fulfilled. The high price was definitely worth it. Gladly again!!

Found it via Google and spontaneously ate there. It was a nice service with a cool concept. All you can eat - every 15 minutes you can order 5 small dishes/sushi. We only managed a weak 3 out of 9 rounds but the food was excellent and despite the fact that they are appetizers - they are not small. We sat very comfortably and would eat here if we were in the area again :)

Was there recently for all you can eat and can really recommend it, there is a large selection of different dishes be it salads, sushi, ice cream, or other warm dishes. Service is also great and you can always order food at your seat using a tablet.

We have been visiting this restaurant for 5 years. In 2021 my girlfriend ordered a dish. When we got home she had a stomach ache and was vomiting. I didn't care because we go to this restaurant every month and every three months and in 2022 my daughter ate it. In this restaurant she also had a pain in her stomach, and we were there exactly a week ago. Of course, my daughter asked for the food she likes and she didn't ask for this dish. After 10 minutes she asked for another dish and told the young man that she didn't ask for that dish. The employee took the plate and gave it to a second person. The kitchen... When we got home two hours later, my daughter had pain in her stomach and intestines and vomited all the food. Here I was sure that this restaurant only had a nice atmosphere, but the food was harmful. For three days in a row my daughter had stomach pain and couldn't eat at all.

Terrible service, rude staff. One waitress worked for the entire restaurant. The waiting time is very long and angry looks when new customers come.

I often went there with my best friend. However, since she can no longer eat as much for medical reasons, we asked beforehand whether she could pay the child price. Paying €30 and then eating minimally is crazy. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, even though she was able to prove it. Customer friendliness looks different. The ambience with the orange seats and benches is not very inviting. The food has always been okay so far. We then went to L'osteria and had a super nice waiter who made all of this no problem. We were probably at Yakumi Sushi for the last time. Very unfortunate.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great and the service is friendly too. The only thing that upsets me is the buffet. If you go there with several people and accidentally several people order the same food, everything ends up on one plate. This is simply placed somewhere and then you first have to find out who ordered what. And if you're really unlucky, a colleague will have placed your order with another and eaten everything - in other words, one of them will go wrong. Since the food doesn't always look as shown on the tablet, you sometimes don't know whether it was what you ordered. An evening full of guessing games. I was there twice, it was delicious, but too stressful.

As sushi lovers, we have already tried many Japanese places (Viersen/MG/Krefeld/Düsseldorf) and always enjoy coming to Yakumi!! It is rare to find an Allyoucaneat Japanese restaurant in the Viersen/MG area that offers ordering via tablet. In terms of price, there is only a 2-3 euro difference compared to other sushi restaurants, but there is a big difference in the sushi quality, which is very good here. If you don't need the larger selection in the evening, with the price difference of course (30.90), go at lunchtime (also a great selection for 19 euros). I didn't have any drinks with me at any restaurant and if you have any idea how expensive sushi is when you buy it individually, you don't include drinks! The service is super nice and very fast. And ambience is always a matter of taste, right?

I found all the dishes I ordered to be very tasty and, above all, they were still hot when they came to the table. It was a nice and quiet atmosphere where we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the evening.

My girlfriend wanted to kidnap me into the world of sushi. Unfortunately, that sort of thing slipped backwards, word came out of all the erasers literally the next day. The first round of sushi was ok, it still worked and from round 3 everything tasted like old fried fat. To this day, when I think about it, my toenails curl. Since she and I + 4 other guests were the only ones in the store. I should have expected the evil. I'll never set foot in this store again 👼🏼

Sorry, I can't understand why this restaurant has such good reviews. The two of us ate there yesterday and the food was really not good. I found it rather cheeky to offer such poor quality food for €30.90 (without drinks). The fried things just tasted burnt. The service was okay, but not the best. The ambience was also okay, but reminded me more of a diner in the USA. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the store.

Nice restaurant with a good selection on the tray. The service was okay, although the service staff didn't seem that motivated and some of our orders didn't come or didn't come until the next round.

Gestern mit 4 Personen besucht, die wenigen Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant müssten besser ausgeschildert werden. Einrichtung des Restaurants einfach, aber in Ordnung, Bedienung freundlich. Bestellsystem funktioniert hervorragend, sehr große Auswahl an verschiedenen Sushi, kaum Wartezeiten zwischen den all-you-can-eat-Runden. Die negativen Eindrücke der anderen Sushi-Fans können wir nur bestätigen - wir gehen gern und häufig Sushi essen und können nur abraten. Das Sushi scheint größtenteils vorbereitet zu sein, besonders bei den Rollen fällt die lieblose Zubereitung auf. Die meisten Sushi sind deutlich zu stark gesalzen, der Fisch wird durch die Soßen förmlich erschlagen. Mein Rat an die anderen Sushi-Fans - fahrt nach Düsseldorf!

Ich war vor kurzem dort mit meiner Freundin zu Abend essen gewesen auf Empfehlung meines Bruders der in Mönchengladbach wohnt. Wir kommen aus Düsseldorf, und sind was japanisches Essen betrifft evtl. etwas zu verwöhnt. Habe sogar selber einige Zeit in Japan verbracht. Leider muss ich sagen, dass es sich hierbei nicht wirklich um ein japanisches Restaurant handelt, da schon elementare japanische Zutaten in den Gerichten fehlen, was die ganzen angebotenen Gerichte recht abenteuerlich macht. Der größte Hinweis ist aber, dass in der Speisekarte chinesische Bezeichnungen für die Speisen benutzt werden und nicht die japanischen Bezeichnungen. Grundsätzlich war das Essen "okay" und einige Gerichte waren sogar echt gut. Leider waren aber auch einige Dinge regelrecht grauenhaft. 1. Die Soßen waren KATASTROPHE zu gefühlt jedem 2. Gericht wurde dieser komische scharfe Ketchup dargereicht (und NEIN es war KEIN Siracha, dass wäre ja noch gut gewesen irgendwie), selbst zu den Gyozas!!! Die "Wasabi-Soße" war anscheinend homöopathisch mit echtem Wasabi versehen, da sie total wie Sahne-Meerrettich geschmeckt hat. Die warme Sojasoße/Marinade (z.B. zum gegrillten Gemüse oder Pilzen etc.) war null im Ansatz japanisch. Eine japanische Marinade braucht Mirin, Sake etc. die Soße war einfach nur ölig. 2. Gyozas waren maßlos überfritiert und hart wie Stein, so auch die Frühlingsrollen. Außerdem waren diese nicht frisch, sondern TK-Ware vom Großhändler. 3. keine japanischen Getränke wie z.B. japanische Tees, Softdrinks etc. Man kann mir nicht erzählen, dass Chinesen nicht wissen was Oolong-Tee ist.... 4. Der Horror: Die "Misosuppe" die keine Misosuppe war, einfach salzig und ungenießbar, wie schafft man das ne Misosuppe zu verhauen?! War das überhaupt echtes Miso in der Brühe??? Deswegen macht es an sich nichts aus, dass Chinesen ein japanisches Restaurant betreiben, es gibt auch in Japan, so wie in Deutschland bzw. in Düsseldorf einige Restaurants die von Chinesen betrieben werden und gute japanische Küche zubereiten. Selbst in China weiß man ja wie die Japaner das Essen zubereiten, zumal es einen chinesischen Ursprung hat, was mich deswegen umso mehr wundert. Bitte passt das Essen an, Potential ist doch da, dass auch mal in Mönchengladbach ein richtiges japanisches Restaurant hat.

Wir waren heute zum 1. Mal hier. Das Retro-Ambiente lädt direkt zum verweilen ein und dank Tabletbestellung, war die ausgesuchten Speisen und Getränke ruck-zuck am Tisch. Die Bedienung ist sehr höflich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Wir kommen sicher bald mal wieder!

Sehr tolles Restaurant. Mitarbeiter sind schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Wir werden auf jedenfall wiederkommen. Der Preis war für das Mega Buffet gerechtfertigt.

Diese Woche war ich hier mit meinem Freund essen. Das Bestellsystem läuft über ein Tablet (alle 15 Minuten kann man eine neue Runde bestellen, insgesamt 10 Runden sind abends bestellbar). Zunächst kommt man in ein etwas dunkel wirkendes Ladenlokal, wird mit dem Tablet begrüßt, bekommt eine kurze Erklärung und ist ab dann bis das erste Essen kommt auf sich alleine gestellt. Wir waren mit 3 anderen Tischen (also 4 belegte Tische) die einzigen Gäste um 18 Uhr. Die erste Runde kam auch super schnell an. Jede weitere Runde zog sich immer weiter in die Länge (an der Anzahl der Gäste hat sich jedoch nichts verändert). Das Sushi war wirklich gut. Dazu gab es eine Schüssel mit Wasabi und Ingwer. Auf dem Tisch stand noch eine Flasche mit Sojasauce. Die weiteren Gerichte (vor allem der Fisch) waren nicht frisch, sondern Tiefkühlkost. An sich weniger das Problem, wenn man es denn auch richtig zubereitet. Und da haben wir leider den ersten Grund für einen Stern Abzug: Egal was ich bestellt habe (Ente, Tintenfischringe, Garnelensticks,…) alles war verbrannt oder hat danach geschmeckt. Von der Ente habe ich 1,5cm x 2,0cm verbrannte Kruste entfernen müssen. Schließlich musste ich nach meinem Essen noch auf Toilette. Für die Damen gibt es 3 Kabinen und einen Wickeltisch im Vorraum bei dem Waschbecken. Eine dieser Kabinen war defekt. Die andere Kabinen waren an sich oberflächlich sauber. Schaut man sich aber die Tür rund um den Knauf an, ist dieser vergilbt und die Türe an der Stelle auch nicht gründlich gereinigt. Das war der 2. Stern Abzug. Preislich liegt es hier vollkommen im Rahmen (28,90€ pro Person für insgesamt bis zu 10 Gänge, Getränke sind nicht im Preis enthalten).

Das Sushi ist wirklich gut. Jedoch schmeckt alles was paniert ist verbrannt. Die Ente ist trocken und ebenfalls verbrannt. Die Portionen sind unsagbar klein und beschränkt auf 10 Runden (oder max. 2,5 Std.), danach ist ende. Das Milchspeiseeis hat teilweise große Eiskristalle. Die Türen in der Toiletten sind dreckig. Zu guter letzt ist die Auswahl an Sachen, sagen wir mal, übersichtlich. Ich kenne andere Japanische Restaurants die nach dem selben Prinzip arbeiten und weitaus leckerer sind. Ich für meinen Teil werde in Zukunft hier nicht mehr essen gehen sonder lieber wieder zu meinem Lieblings Japaner fahren.

Super Sushi, frisch und extrem lecker, auch die warmen Gerichte heiß und frisch zubereitet. Alles übers Tablet, super einfach! Absolut zu empfehlen!

Die Lage ist nicht ganz so toll, aber war sehr positiv überrascht vom leckeren Essen. Einen Stern Abzug wegen der Parksituation und da keine Kohlensäure im Getränk war.

Sehr leckeres Essen, gute Auswahl und es wird alles sehr schnell serviert. Wir sind definitiv nicht das letzte Mal hier gewesen.

Leider hat die Qualität gravierend nachgelassen… viel zu fettig… falsche Gerichte… eigenartigen Beigeschmack…. Auf Reklamation reagiert das Personal dann sofort sehr unfreundlich und aggressiv…. Sehr angenehme Athmo. Getränke bezahlbar. Wir waren heute mit drei Personen wieder da und es war super. Das Yakumi hat es verdient ausprobiert zu werden. Es gefällt mir hier besser als bei einem überannten und für Massenabfertigung spezialisierten "all you can eat" Chinesen/ Mongolen. Auswahl ist ausreichend und qualitativ besser.

Ein wirklich sehr gutes Sushi-Restaurant in MG, weswegen man nicht mehr nach Düsseldorf fahren muss, um ein qualitativ hochwertiges und vor allem sehr leckeres Sushi zu essen. Das Angebot überzeugt mittags mit einem reduzierten und abends, mit einem kompletten Angebot.

Tolles Ambiente mit orangen Ledersofas! Für festen Preis kann man am Tablet so viele Gerichte wählen, wie man mag. Das Konzept ist zwar nicht ganz neu, aber die Gerichte sind richtig gut!
