A waitress with good knowledge of German would be recommended. There were simply too many questions asked, which disrupted our entire atmosphere. The boss has a strange attitude towards customers. There is nothing to complain about about the food. But something should be changed about the service staff.

Best kimchi I've ever eaten and overall the food was very good. Unfortunately it's difficult to get me there again. Problem 1 Tables are too small 🤣 I always order so many that I have to put the plates on top of each other, really small. The waiter puts a lot of pressure on us to eat dessert quickly because the next table should come. When we left everything was still free. I don't like eating on a day when I've had a lot of stress with pressure. And finally there are 0 parking options. 110€ 2 people

We have been very satisfied so far. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly. What is very annoying is that table reservations are made (you get a confirmation and even a reminder on the day itself) and you find out on site that there are company holidays and you are faced with locked doors. There was also no response to an email sent to the restaurant. Very annoying!!!

Went there for the first time yesterday. We were very positively surprised by the food and drinks! Food tastes really tasty and fresh. I think everything is prepared beautifully. Looks really good 👍 I can highly recommend the homemade iced tea, lemonades and spritzers, they are deliciously refreshing, especially in summer. Service was also A1 Therefore a complete 5 star rating from me 🤌🤌🤌

Not classic Kyoto sushi - modern and more Central Asian. Ingredients very fresh, rice intact and not crushed. Fish very fresh and very tasty. All in all very satisfactory - especially given the low prices! 5*

Sushi was very good quality. It was delicious 😋 We ordered a platter for 3 people and it was presented with a show after a slightly longer wait. But the waiting time is ok because it was prepared “just in time”. The portions could have been 5-8 sushis more. Service was nice and the ambience could be improved a little. (Upholstered furniture looked like good attendance 😅) All in all, Yakii is worth a visit.

Small Japanese restaurant with an excellent menu and a quiet ambience. The food was appetizing and freshly prepared. The Riesling goes perfectly with the sushi. In short, highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is excellent. You feel very comfortable here as a guest. The service is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is definitely recommended. We didn't make a reservation this Friday, but visited the restaurant spontaneously. The restaurant is accessible for guests with wheelchairs and the toilet is also accessible for guests with disabilities.👍

Ate here on April 21, 2024. Once again it was very, very tasty. We could eat this every day.

Can only report about sushi here; I now come here regularly specifically for this purpose. Good in quality and taste. Nicely presented on the plate and the price is completely reasonable. There is also a small lunch menu during the week.

Very bad service! We were asked every 5 minutes when we were leaving because new customers were coming. Very anti-social. Very unsympathetic staff except for one man. Never again. Not recommended. Not worth a star actually. The food was OK but not particularly good.

Super happy and satisfied guests and customers since the start! I was even able to get my boyfriend excited about sushi thanks to you! My daughter and I are very happy that after Hibana, with such good sushi, we are continuing in MG. Otherwise it was only ever available in Düsseldorf or Erkelenz. We are also very grateful for the delivery service, and longer waiting times are normal, because after all, we are not the only ones who have deliveries. I don't mean us in particular, we think up to an hour is quite normal and longer doesn't mean that you'll starve, as some people say in their bad reviews 🙄 it's not fast food and almost works of art, things like that take time already freshly prepared - think about it before you write...

We've been to Yakii at least once a month for almost 1.5 years and pick up food every now and then. Here you can get very tasty sushi and selected main courses of very good quality. It's always beautifully prepared and everything is fresh. Unfortunately, you don't often find a restaurant like this at this consistently good level with reasonable prices. It's true, it's always full, sometimes a little louder and a reservation is necessary - but that's no coincidence ;-)

Always creative and delicious. Very friendly service. In the restaurant I miss fruity-sweet wine with sushi & sashimi, for example Riesling Kabinett from Mosel or Pfalz with only approx. 8% alcohol vol. That's why I always pick up the menu and enjoy the combo at home.

It is very frightening how little people can be satisfied with. This is not sushi 🤢 This is simply fish wrapped in rice and seaweed and killed with some kind of ketchup and mayo. Please for us, once and never again.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im YakII Sushi essen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde uns per Kopfzeichen ein Tisch am Fenster zugewiesen. Die Stühle mit dem hinterliegenden Tisch standen sehr nah zusammen, sodass man Mühe hatte beim Aufstehen den Nachbarn nicht anzustoßen. Meine Suppenschale hatte am Rand ein Stück abgebrochenes Porzellan, wo ich die Kellnerin beim Abräumen drauf hin wies. Es kam weder eine Regung noch eine Entschuldigung ihrerseits. Die Zubereitung der Sushi war auf Grund des Trockeneisspektakel ( Nebel)sehr effektvoll. Der Sushi selber hatte wenig Geschmack. Keine Leckere Soße und keine Raffinesse in der Zubereitung. Das vordere und hintere Stück der Rolle wurde aufgestellt und war sehr groß. Der Sushi hatte leider keine Festigkeit durch den lockeren Reis und viel auseinander. Die Crunchyrolle war sehr dünn geschnitten deshalb auch 10 Stück, was sich natürlich toll anhört. Preis Leistung stimmt hier nicht. Das Restaurant hat einen Hallencharakter mit hellem Licht und schlechter unpassender Musik. Das permanente laute Telefon lud auch nicht zum Wohlfühlen bei. Ich habe mich gefragt ob man als Gast überhaupt erwünscht ist. Wir werden hier nicht wieder essen gehen.

Es war super lecker und sehr cool angerichtet! Sushi war frisch und top Qualität. Sehr freundlicher Service. Haben auch schon mehrfach bestellt und immer wieder begeistert. Eines meiner Lieblingssushi-Restaurants in Mönchengladbach <3

Es war sehr lecker. Service fand ich auch nett, man hätte öfter fragen können, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Aber die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut!

Das Essen ist jedes Mal super lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service ist gut und man sitzt hier sehr schön ruhig.

Das beste Sushi in Mönchengladbach! Ich habe schon einige Sushi Restaurants besucht und war nach dem Besuch im YAKII völlig begeistert von der Qualität und dem Geschmack des Sushi. Es ist ein niedlicher Laden neben dem Museum mit moderner Einrichtung. Der Service war nett und schnell. Ein Highlight ist allemal die Darbietung des Tellers. Wir hatten das Sushi for two Angebot welches wunderschön angerichtet zu unserem Platz gebracht und mit Trockeneis den letzten Touch gegeben wurde. Würde jeden Tag hingehen.

Sehr einladendes Ladenlokal und super zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Die Speisekarte des Restaurants ist sehr vielfältig und spezialisiert sich nicht nur auf Sushi. Das Essen wurde sehr hübsch angerichtet und hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt!! Große Empfehlung :)

Ganz klare Empfehlung für dieses tolle Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr groß, was es gemütlich macht. Also solltet ihr besser reservieren. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient, vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. Das Essen, wir hatten Sushi, war schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Neben Sushi gibt es auch warme Gerichte, alles auch zum mitnehmen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Essen gut. Leider kommt der Hauptgang schon wenn man die Vorspeise noch isst.
