A beautiful and charming restaurant. The food is also very good and delicious. We were there today (Sunday evening). Unfortunately, the wait time was longer than expected, about 50-60 minutes. Otherwise, everything was perfect and highly recommended. The price was around €70, which is absolutely reasonable for the quality!

In principle, yes, but the prices have increased significantly, so I'll probably eat there less often or not at all in the future. Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, the quality of the food has also deteriorated. The amount of rice has increased, as has the price. It's a shame, because it was the best sushi restaurant in town.

We went to Yaki yesterday and the food looked good everywhere! We chose Inside out Tuna and Crunchy Rolls Tori! We were served quickly and friendly! The drinks and food were served quickly! The offer of dry ice cream is a highlight! The inside out rolls tasted good and the sauce on the crunchy rolls was also delicious! We thought the Crunchy Rolls tasted good but had the impression that the fat was a bit older! We had read that payment was only possible in cash, but it was also possible with a card! It is modernly furnished!

Frame not authentic, more like chicken soup. Duck was good but a bit too expensive at €21.

Respect, very tasty and very nice, the atmosphere is also very nice, everything is great and I can only recommend it!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Yaki Sushi at Abteistrasse 26 in Mönchengladbach - and my overall conclusion is very positive, even if there are some minor drawbacks. The food: The sushi is really excellent! Freshly prepared, tasty and visually very appealing. The ingredients appear to be of high quality, the fish is tender and perfectly tempered - no comparison to the typical run-of-the-mill sushi shops. I had what was called a “platter for two,” but in practice it would be more sufficient for a very hungry single person. I ate the plate alone and was pleasantly full afterwards - but that would definitely be too small for two people. You should know this to avoid disappointment. Ambiance: The restaurant is modern, stylish and yet comfortably furnished. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is lively without being loud or overcrowded - a place where you can happily spend a few hours, be it as a couple, with friends or even in a small group with the family. Service: The staff is really friendly, attentive and accommodating. Despite the full tables, the service staff were always present without seeming intrusive. Questions were answered patiently and special requests were implemented in a friendly manner. You can tell that people work here with passion and heart. Organization & reservation: A very important point that I would like to recommend to all potential guests: Be sure to reserve in advance! The restaurant is almost always full - which is not surprising given the quality - and without a reservation you will only be very lucky to get a seat. So it's best to plan well in advance so that you don't get disappointed. Conclusion: Yaki Sushi is definitely worth a visit – or rather, several! The sushi is convincing across the board, the ambience invites you to linger, and the staff ensures an all-round successful experience. The only downside for me was the portion size of the platter for two people. But if you are prepared for it or simply order a little more, you are guaranteed to be happy here. I'll definitely be back!

The food is good, but they show you the door as soon as you finish your meal, claiming the table is reserved, even though I was told it's 1:00. I won't be back.

The two of us went to Yakii Sushi & Asia Finest Cuisine in Mönchengladbach on Saturday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered crunchy tuna rolls, kappa maki, and mango maki. We enjoyed the crunchy tuna rolls and kappa maki, but the mango maki wasn't quite to our taste—the mango could have been riper for our liking. Otherwise, the sushi seemed fresh. The service was friendly, and we were informed right from the start that payment was cash only—so it's worth knowing that beforehand.

Very tasty food. The sushi rolls are very large compared to other restaurants and therefore definitely worth the price.

It would be nice if you could make sure that vegetarian maki doesn't contain any fish or parts of it. Allergy sufferers in particular can quickly run into problems here. It would be best if all vegetarian/vegan dishes were prepared and cut in a separate place with their own knife. There was something to several lemurs.

The Sushi is very tasty and the presentation is very nice, I also really liked the atmosphere! One thing I didn’t like is the pressure from the waiters coming to our table every time to check if we were done. I can understand that the restaurant may be crowded but at the same time we want to have a comfortable meal at our own pace. Other than that they were nice and I recommend the restaurant.

We ordered to the hotel via Lieferando. Extremely punctual delivery to the room door. The sushi was first class and we were really amazed. Highly recommended!!😊

It's run by a Japanese person, and although he doesn't seem to be a chef (he looks like he's from Vietnam), it was very delicious! I ordered yakitori, gyoza, and fried shrimp, and the yakitori was especially delicious. The gyoza also had a nice flavor with just the right amount of garlic. The most important thing is the sushi, but the high point is that the tuna was delicious! I also ordered an eel nigiri, which was well grilled and delicious.

Great ambience and extremely friendly service. The ramen soup was very well seasoned and the prices were absolutely right. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended!!

We paid over €100, but it just wasn't good enough - some of the sushi had "hard" mango and was very firm to the bite, and there wasn't enough sauce - the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us.

The food was ordered. The delivery was about 30 minutes late, but the curry we ordered was almost cold. Everything had to be warmed up in the microwave. The driver was asked whether the food was still warm and he said he had just picked it up from the restaurant. So either he was lying, or the dish had been sitting in the restaurant for a long time before the driver picked it up. It would be nice if the processes were improved. As always, the quality of the food was very tasty.

Best kimchi I've ever eaten and overall the food was very good. Unfortunately it's difficult to get me there again. Problem 1 Tables are too small 🤣 I always order so many that I have to put the plates on top of each other, really small. The waiter puts a lot of pressure on us to eat dessert quickly because the next table should come. When we left everything was still free. I don't like eating on a day when I've had a lot of stress with pressure. And finally there are 0 parking options. 110€ 2 people

We have been very satisfied so far. The food is very tasty and the service is friendly. What is very annoying is that table reservations are made (you get a confirmation and even a reminder on the day itself) and you find out on site that there are company holidays and you are faced with locked doors. There was also no response to an email sent to the restaurant. Very annoying!!!

Sushi was very good quality. It was delicious 😋 We ordered a platter for 3 people and it was presented with a show after a slightly longer wait. But the waiting time is ok because it was prepared “just in time”. The portions could have been 5-8 sushis more. Service was nice and the ambience could be improved a little. (Upholstered furniture looked like good attendance 😅) All in all, Yakii is worth a visit.

Small Japanese restaurant with an excellent menu and a quiet ambience. The food was appetizing and freshly prepared. The Riesling goes perfectly with the sushi. In short, highly recommended. The price-performance ratio is excellent. You feel very comfortable here as a guest. The service is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is definitely recommended. We didn't make a reservation this Friday, but visited the restaurant spontaneously. The restaurant is accessible for guests with wheelchairs and the toilet is also accessible for guests with disabilities.👍

Can only report about sushi here; I now come here regularly specifically for this purpose. Good in quality and taste. Nicely presented on the plate and the price is completely reasonable. There is also a small lunch menu during the week.

Super happy and satisfied guests and customers since the start! I was even able to get my boyfriend excited about sushi thanks to you! My daughter and I are very happy that after Hibana, with such good sushi, we are continuing in MG. Otherwise it was only ever available in Düsseldorf or Erkelenz. We are also very grateful for the delivery service, and longer waiting times are normal, because after all, we are not the only ones who have deliveries. I don't mean us in particular, we think up to an hour is quite normal and longer doesn't mean that you'll starve, as some people say in their bad reviews 🙄 it's not fast food and almost works of art, things like that take time already freshly prepared - think about it before you write...

Always creative and delicious. Very friendly service. In the restaurant I miss fruity-sweet wine with sushi & sashimi, for example Riesling Kabinett from Mosel or Pfalz with only approx. 8% alcohol vol. That's why I always pick up the menu and enjoy the combo at home.

We've been to Yakii at least once a month for almost 1.5 years and pick up food every now and then. Here you can get very tasty sushi and selected main courses of very good quality. It's always beautifully prepared and everything is fresh. Unfortunately, you don't often find a restaurant like this at this consistently good level with reasonable prices. It's true, it's always full, sometimes a little louder and a reservation is necessary - but that's no coincidence ;-)

It is very frightening how little people can be satisfied with. This is not sushi 🤢 This is simply fish wrapped in rice and seaweed and killed with some kind of ketchup and mayo. Please for us, once and never again.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im YakII Sushi essen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde uns per Kopfzeichen ein Tisch am Fenster zugewiesen. Die Stühle mit dem hinterliegenden Tisch standen sehr nah zusammen, sodass man Mühe hatte beim Aufstehen den Nachbarn nicht anzustoßen. Meine Suppenschale hatte am Rand ein Stück abgebrochenes Porzellan, wo ich die Kellnerin beim Abräumen drauf hin wies. Es kam weder eine Regung noch eine Entschuldigung ihrerseits. Die Zubereitung der Sushi war auf Grund des Trockeneisspektakel ( Nebel)sehr effektvoll. Der Sushi selber hatte wenig Geschmack. Keine Leckere Soße und keine Raffinesse in der Zubereitung. Das vordere und hintere Stück der Rolle wurde aufgestellt und war sehr groß. Der Sushi hatte leider keine Festigkeit durch den lockeren Reis und viel auseinander. Die Crunchyrolle war sehr dünn geschnitten deshalb auch 10 Stück, was sich natürlich toll anhört. Preis Leistung stimmt hier nicht. Das Restaurant hat einen Hallencharakter mit hellem Licht und schlechter unpassender Musik. Das permanente laute Telefon lud auch nicht zum Wohlfühlen bei. Ich habe mich gefragt ob man als Gast überhaupt erwünscht ist. Wir werden hier nicht wieder essen gehen.

Es war sehr lecker. Service fand ich auch nett, man hätte öfter fragen können, ob man noch etwas trinken möchte. Aber die Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut!
