Gemütlich! Lecker! Schön serviert! Bin einfach sprachlos!!!

Mein Partner und ich haben das Restaurant vor paar Monaten zufällig entdeckt und seitdem sind wir mind. 2x im Monat da. So unfassbar lecker und frisch! Wir hatten letztens auch drüber geredet beim Abendessen, dass wir echt hoffen dieses Restaurant würde niemals schließen, damit wir für immer hier Sushi und Ramen essen können😄😄❤️

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Leckeres Essen und schön eingerichtet (besonders mit dem Kirschbütenbaum in der Mitte). Am Samstag haben wir um 20:30 Uhr noch ein Tisch bekommen. Wenn man früher geht, sollte man reservieren. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und Sushi wird sogar mit Dampf präsentiert (s. Fotos). Ein Gericht kostet im Durchschnitt 15 bis 20 Euro und hat eine normale gute Größe. Bei den Getränken gibt es eine schöne Auswahl. Es gab auf Nachfrage sogar alkoholfreie Cocktails. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Da wir einen Geburtstag gefeiert haben, gab es sogar ein Getränk aufs Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung.

Immer frisch, immer lecker und ein faires Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis. Empfehlenswert! Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Qualitativ gute Sushi kann nicht gleichzeitig "billig" sein.

Echt super. Alles fing schon bei dem echt exzellent netten und aufmerksamen Personal an. Der Service war echt sehr zuverlässig. Außerdem hat uns das Essen wirklich glücklich und satt gemacht . Große Empfehlung get raus .

Das Essen war falsch, ohne dass das Essen ersetzt oder sich entschuldigt wurde. Es war sehr unfreundlich, und vom Gefühl her hatten wir den Eindruck, dass man uns einfach raushaben wollte. Meiner Meinung nach ist das respektlos.

We've ordered from here several times, and this was our first time eating in. As always, it was delicious! Every piece of sushi was fresh and attractively presented. I just didn't find it very pleasant that both waiters were standing at the counter nibbling pistachios from the shell. In my opinion, that's not something you should do in the dining area.

We were able to reserve a table at short notice. The food was fantastic, as always! A real insider tip for sushi fans, in my opinion. The three of us shared the party-time sushi platter and were absolutely thrilled. We've been there two or three times already and will definitely be back! :)

⚠️ ATTENTION for people with celiac disease and allergies! ⚠️ I visited this restaurant on February 27, 2026, and explicitly informed them of my medically necessary gluten-free diet (celiac disease). Unfortunately, I found that despite the labeling on the menu, the staff had absolutely no expertise in dealing with allergens. When I asked, they seriously suggested I "simply leave out the rice" to avoid gluten – which shows that the risk (e.g., from sauces or cross-contamination) is completely underestimated. I relied on the "gluten-free" label on the menu and the verbal confirmation, but immediately after eating, I suffered severe stomach cramps and other health problems. The allergen labeling here is unreliable and simply dangerous for people with intolerances or allergies. I strongly advise anyone with these conditions against visiting!

As a former regular customer, I'm truly speechless. Like every month for the past three years, I've ordered sushi. Tonight, the website wasn't working, so I placed my order by phone. Since my order still hadn't arrived after an hour, I called the restaurant. I was called a "liar" on the phone and laughed at simply because they had lost my order. Furthermore, the employee was very rude and hung up on me. I called again anyway and was treated badly by the staff again. After two minutes, he called me back and said my order had been found. I'm also attaching the emails that Vuji Restaurant sent me before the phone call.

I've been to Vuji several times. Every dish is well-prepared and tastes great, especially the sushi. It's very fresh and delicious, and the sauces are wonderful.

A real asset to Mönchengladbach and definitely the best sushi in town. The fish is super fresh and the value for money is excellent. Even people who aren't big on sushi will find great curry or udon noodles here. I love coming here, whether with friends or family.

I chose this place based on Google reviews, as I'm not from the area. And I have to say I'm very, very satisfied. Everything tasted absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the drinks.

I want to share our experience so others are aware. My wife (who wears a headscarf) was at this sushi restaurant with our 7-month-old daughter and friends—also mothers with babies. Unfortunately, they were treated very rudely. From the very beginning, the waitress was impolite, and it was clear that my wife and her friends were not welcome. The owner even told the two friends who arrived later that they could only stay for an hour at most, even though the restaurant wasn't full. This behavior was disrespectful and discriminatory. It's sad that women wearing headscarves and small children are treated this way in a public restaurant. I hope the restaurant reconsiders its practices and learns to treat all guests equally—with respect and humanity.

The food was excellent and arrived quickly. We celebrated a birthday here, and it was a lovely experience. The food was of good quality. The staff were very friendly.

Great food, but the restaurant isn't very big and is packed with tables, so the noise isn't particularly pleasant when all the tables are occupied. Reservations weren't a good idea either. Prices are on the high side.

Tried sushi at VUJI Sushi for the first time today, and it was incredibly delicious. Everything was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. Fresh sushi, delicious kimchi, and to finish, delicious mochi ice cream and green tea ice cream. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We'll be back.

Delicious and I'd definitely go back. Unfortunately, it's too slow for lunch. My tip: order your food in advance and arrive on time to enjoy the moment without having to overstay your lunch or rush your meal. Other than that, it's great. The ingredients were super fresh and the atmosphere was peaceful. A great way to escape the stress.

Incredibly delicious food! We were in the area for a concert. The staff were super friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic, and it's air-conditioned. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality was very good. We had the spring roll starter and the non-vegetarian sushi set for two.

Just the best sushi in Mönchengladbach and in Germany! everything is so fresh and delicious, with huge pieces of fish. Sashimi tastes like heaven. They always serve everything like a masterpiece. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the place is very lovely and cosy. First time we didn't check that they close for lunch at 15, but they didn't try to kick us out, they were just having lunch and letting us finish our food, patiently waiting.

Unfortunately not. Anyone offering and charging for Vietnamese pho soup shouldn't be serving a simple noodle soup. Not even the herbs were appropriate: no coriander, no basil, not to mention anise and the other spices. When the customer pointed out that it wasn't Vietnamese pho, they were told it wasn't worth it, as the guests wouldn't recognize the taste anyway. Yes, they do! And the guests don't want to be fooled. The service is friendly.

Otherwise, everything was perfect and highly recommended. The price was around €70, which is absolutely reasonable for the quality!

We went to Yaki yesterday and the food looked good everywhere! We chose Inside out Tuna and Crunchy Rolls Tori! We were served quickly and friendly! The drinks and food were served quickly! The offer of dry ice cream is a highlight! The inside out rolls tasted good and the sauce on the crunchy rolls was also delicious! We thought the Crunchy Rolls tasted good but had the impression that the fat was a bit older! We had read that payment was only possible in cash, but it was also possible with a card! It is modernly furnished!

Frame not authentic, more like chicken soup. Duck was good but a bit too expensive at €21.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Yaki Sushi at Abteistrasse 26 in Mönchengladbach - and my overall conclusion is very positive, even if there are some minor drawbacks. The food: The sushi is really excellent! Freshly prepared, tasty and visually very appealing. The ingredients appear to be of high quality, the fish is tender and perfectly tempered - no comparison to the typical run-of-the-mill sushi shops. I had what was called a “platter for two,” but in practice it would be more sufficient for a very hungry single person. I ate the plate alone and was pleasantly full afterwards - but that would definitely be too small for two people. You should know this to avoid disappointment. Ambiance: The restaurant is modern, stylish and yet comfortably furnished. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is lively without being loud or overcrowded - a place where you can happily spend a few hours, be it as a couple, with friends or even in a small group with the family. Service: The staff is really friendly, attentive and accommodating. Despite the full tables, the service staff were always present without seeming intrusive. Questions were answered patiently and special requests were implemented in a friendly manner. You can tell that people work here with passion and heart. Organization & reservation: A very important point that I would like to recommend to all potential guests: Be sure to reserve in advance! The restaurant is almost always full - which is not surprising given the quality - and without a reservation you will only be very lucky to get a seat. So it's best to plan well in advance so that you don't get disappointed. Conclusion: Yaki Sushi is definitely worth a visit – or rather, several! The sushi is convincing across the board, the ambience invites you to linger, and the staff ensures an all-round successful experience. The only downside for me was the portion size of the platter for two people. But if you are prepared for it or simply order a little more, you are guaranteed to be happy here. I'll definitely be back!

The food is good, but they show you the door as soon as you finish your meal, claiming the table is reserved, even though I was told it's 1:00. I won't be back.

The two of us went to Yakii Sushi & Asia Finest Cuisine in Mönchengladbach on Saturday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered crunchy tuna rolls, kappa maki, and mango maki. We enjoyed the crunchy tuna rolls and kappa maki, but the mango maki wasn't quite to our taste—the mango could have been riper for our liking. Otherwise, the sushi seemed fresh. The service was friendly, and we were informed right from the start that payment was cash only—so it's worth knowing that beforehand.

Very tasty food. The sushi rolls are very large compared to other restaurants and therefore definitely worth the price.

It would be nice if you could make sure that vegetarian maki doesn't contain any fish or parts of it. Allergy sufferers in particular can quickly run into problems here. It would be best if all vegetarian/vegan dishes were prepared and cut in a separate place with their own knife. There was something to several lemurs.

The Sushi is very tasty and the presentation is very nice, I also really liked the atmosphere! One thing I didn’t like is the pressure from the waiters coming to our table every time to check if we were done. I can understand that the restaurant may be crowded but at the same time we want to have a comfortable meal at our own pace. Other than that they were nice and I recommend the restaurant.

It's run by a Japanese person, and although he doesn't seem to be a chef (he looks like he's from Vietnam), it was very delicious! I ordered yakitori, gyoza, and fried shrimp, and the yakitori was especially delicious. The gyoza also had a nice flavor with just the right amount of garlic. The most important thing is the sushi, but the high point is that the tuna was delicious! I also ordered an eel nigiri, which was well grilled and delicious.

We paid over €100, but it just wasn't good enough - some of the sushi had "hard" mango and was very firm to the bite, and there wasn't enough sauce - the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us.

The food was ordered. The delivery was about 30 minutes late, but the curry we ordered was almost cold. Everything had to be warmed up in the microwave. The driver was asked whether the food was still warm and he said he had just picked it up from the restaurant. So either he was lying, or the dish had been sitting in the restaurant for a long time before the driver picked it up. It would be nice if the processes were improved. As always, the quality of the food was very tasty.
