Yak & Yeti Himalayan Food House in München

I've been going to Yak & Yeti for many years and always love it. The food is outstanding! The momos, curries, and desserts are always a highlight. On top of that, the team is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel instantly welcome and well taken care of. It's my absolute favorite place, and I always love coming back!

I've been there several times and tried different things - everything was very tasty & the service was very friendly.

I went there for dinner with my family. We ordered momos, momo soup, c-momo, sekuwa, and thakali-thali. The food was absolutely delicious and the flavors were simply amazing. Everything was incredibly authentic and instantly reminded us of Nepal. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. We regularly eat there with our family and are always very satisfied – both with the taste of the food and with the warm atmosphere and beautiful decor. You really feel like you're in Nepal. The owner also deserves special mention; he's simply a very friendly and personable individual. We always love coming back!

Really tasty food, would highly recommend visiting. Had thukpa, chilli momos and chowmein. All ingredients seemed very fresh and nicely prepared. Staff is really polite and helpful as well. Would go again.

The service is good, but the curry tastes like pure spice, not curry. The momos are okay, but everything is a bit overpriced. The atmosphere is quite nice.

Unassuming and reserved both inside and out, it surprises with exceptionally friendly service and wonderful food. Whether momos (dumplings), curry, or fried rice, everything is perfectly balanced. I've been coming for years and will continue to do so.

We spontaneously visited the restaurant during the week and received a very friendly welcome. The service was very polite and attentive. Each dish was explained in detail. The Mo:mos were particularly delicious, and there was a wide selection of different dishes.

Holy moly, the food is amazing! It tastes incredibly good, just like in Nepal. The quality is fantastic. The restaurant is quite nicely decorated. And I think the prices are very fair.

One of the best places to try the authentic Nepalesische food in München!! I loved how the food tasted. So delicious!! Both the momo we tried were different from each other yet best on its own!! The noodles and rice were also equally tasty. However what stole the show was their soups!! Especially the Soltee soup dal😌 it was my favourite!!

Very nice place to have authentic Nepali food at a reasonable price. We tried Momo, thukpa and Nepali khaja set which were very delicious. Looking forward to try other food items as well.

I was craving for authentic Nepali food for a long time in Munich. So, my family and I went to this restaurant, and I must tell you I was completely happy and satisfied with the food here. It was fresh, mildly spicy, and less oily. I can't wait to go there soon with my friends. The food was good, but a glass of water cost four euros, which is pretty ridiculous. We were on a road trip, and Germany was our tenth country, and it was the first time we'd paid that expensive for water. Also the menu on the google maps is out of dated and the prices are very different at the restaurant. After their reply : I live in Paris lol.

Absolutely amazing experience! We ordered Chicken Thali, MoMo & Chicken CURRY WITH naan. Every dish was fresh, the gravy & sauce were rich and flavorful, and the gundruk was the best I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Cozy atmosphere with authentic Italian vibes. We’ll definitely be back! Owner Ram Ji was super humble and amaging customer service.

This Nepalese meal was an absolute highlight! The traditional thali was served with great attention to detail and offered a wonderful variety of flavors and textures. I was particularly impressed by the balanced combination: an aromatic dal (lentil dish), a spicy curry, fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked basmati rice, crispy papadum, and a mild yogurt to balance the spices. Each individual component was perfectly seasoned and harmonious in flavor. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch; everything tasted fresh and homemade. You immediately notice that the cooking here is done with passion. The service was also very friendly and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. In conclusion: If you're looking for authentic Nepalese cuisine, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back – a culinary journey to Nepal you shouldn't miss!

Great restaurants with unique cuisine. We tried a few of the Nepalese dishes and drinks. The waiter was a young man who was very nice and gave very good service. The food arrived quickly and the flavors were really special, hadn't had anything similar, highly recommend. All the meat, spices and vegetables were high quality and tasted amazing. The restaurant is decorated in traditional decorations which adds to the atmosphere.

If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. The Mo:Mo's were very, very tasty. The service was really friendly and attentive to the guests. Because of the spiciness, I was kindly offered some yogurt to ease the tension. :-D Personally, it would be helpful for me to have a label on the menu for dishes that aren't spicy at all. :-D

The ambiance is simple but fine. There's plenty of space inside, although it must be said that the city wasn't particularly busy during the school holidays during the week. It's cozy. I think the food selection is too extensive, but everything sounds good and looks as delicious as it tastes. The service is okay; you could have been seated more often. I think the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

Yak Yeti Himalayan restaurant in Munich is a must-visit! Their momos are absolutely delicious – so good, I came back the very next day for more!

This was our second time here. The food was great and was served hot. The staff is very friendly and explained to us the dishes when asked. My son really liked the noodles . We ordered fries, but the fries come with Nuggets in their Menu. So we asked them not to give nuggets, just fries.. But they were kind enough to replace the Nuggets with a potato filled snack. This was so kind of them. Will definitely visit again ☺️.

A very nice Nepalese restaurant with delicious, authentic dishes and very friendly service. We had the Daal Bhat Thali for two and were satisfied.

A place for good simple food very close to home food. Loved their momos and palak paneer. The head chef/ owner is very friendly and took time to have a conversation about the food culture of his homeland.

A real insider tip and you can really enjoy eating something different like the 08 15. It can also be hot or spicy but it is really conveniently located in a human context, right next to the S-Bahn tram stop and the bus stop is not far away either. The ambience was very nice and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Always a nice smile on your lips.

We were there for the first time yesterday after having driven past it many times on public transport. The food was fantastic and the service was really nice. We asked for recommendations and were not disappointed. We'd love to come back. The Mo:mo's are incredibly good and should be tried.

It was our first time visiting this place. It was a really nice experience. Everything we ordered was really tasty and up to the mark. The waitress Ana was really polite and friendly. She gave good recommendations. We ordered the Himalayan chicken steamed momos, Choila Chiura (grilled pork with Poha) and chicken chowmein. We would definitely recommend this place and visit again.

The food was by far the best Nepalese food you can find in Munich. The meat was very tender and the chicken momos were perfectly seasoned and juicy. The various soups are worth recommending. The service is excellent. The restaurant is highly recommended!

Best momo place you can find in Munich.

Nice restaurant with very friendly employees. Service great. Lots of choice - almost too much - and fair prices. Because there is a lack of ambience and flair. Ginger tea from a teapot - is okay, but not enough. Little things that weaken the overall impression somewhat.

This is literally Momo heaven. Most of the momo dishes in the menu are absolutely delicious and hit home. I have been to this place twice and both experiences were more or less quite positive. I previously ordered Darjeeling momo which was steamed and has a pork feeling. It was quite tasty. Second time I tried fried chicken momos and it was very good as well. The service is a bit too slow so make sure you have plenty time in hand when there. But the behaviour of the staff was quite friendly. Overall this place is a good food experience.

Cozy atmosphere and delicious, inexpensive food 😊

The food is average. The waitresses were rude. We were 10 people. The order came exactly in an hour. Additionally, we found hair in one of the foods. We asked for bread till the end, and the waitress said yes, we waited for 20 minutes and we decided to pay. We didn't get the bread at the end. Also, waitres asked to take one of our tables before we leave. The atmosphere and vibe are good. Overall, it was very weird and rude. I won't go here again and won't suggest

In this restaurant you can always count on the food to remain consistent in terms of taste and quality. In addition, you always enjoy coming here because of the friendly and very attentive service. Overall, we are already looking forward to the next cozy and delicious dinner at Yak & Yeti.

Food taste is above my expectations. I tried their momos and vegetable chowmein and it was great. Highly recommended for indian/nepali taste.

Service & ambience is great BUT tasted extra sweet. Ordered the kasha momos with gravy (veg). Perhaps they tried to make it spicy uoon my request but the original extra sweet sauce made it taste worse.

Yummy food and excellent service!

Generally this has been our favorite restaurant, however today was extremely disappointing. Veg momos had potato filling, bell peppers were missing, lamb momos had too much oil. I really hope they change back to the old glory.

I'm thrilled every time! With such a wide range on offer, it is sometimes difficult to choose, but I always choose the one that suits my taste! There is also a delicious Franziskaner Keller beer. The service is friendly and attentive, I like that. The next visit here is certain!

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff! From what I can tell, they also take the criticisms of the reviews quite seriously, as everything people mentioned some months ago seems to have improved, at least during my visit. I'll have to be back to try more than just their starters!

Only thing to be considered good over there was the Ambiance. Food was terrible, the only thing they were supposed to serve at it’s best. The mo:mo’s were partially cooked with the filling not so uniformly mixed with absolute zero aroma and no proper taste. Butter chicken’s curry tasked like a past of boiled pumpkin cooked in little to no butter. Most important, when we asked for Limonade, we were served probably the one that we can buy in Kaufland or some other EinkaufsMarkt. C’mon man at least serve something better on a freaking hot day. Lassi was like more water and less Joghurt with little sugar. What the mock was that ?? Would never visit again !! Would not recommend, better go for asian noodles , gut and gunstig!

No vegan friendly. Only one or two vegan dishes. Forget about momos, all momos are non vegan. Dishes are wrong labeled regarding allergens. Very difficult to figure out what contains dairy.
