Yacoub Fastfood in Bad Birnbach

Tonight, I had a magnificent dinner here with my wife. Price, quality, waitress, and especially the chef all get five stars from me. Highly recommended. Don Waltero #donwaltero

The concept is a small, daily changing menu, but the food is good and freshly cooked. The service was very friendly and quick. Why only 3 stars? The price-performance ratio, in terms of portion sizes, was only adequate, especially with the dessert: a tiramisu in a tiny glass, which at €5.90 was completely overpriced. The portions should be larger for the price.

We were there on November 7th, 2025. We arrived early at 5:15 PM specifically to get a quiet table with our large dog. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing the owner said was, "Everyone with dogs today, and one huge 'calf' too!" She was referring to us and our well-behaved Newfoundland. We were shown to a side room, which was fine with us. Other guests arrived and were told to sit at the next table, as the owner kept saying to them, "But there's a dog here!" I find that unacceptable. She should open a restaurant where dogs aren't welcome.

The gala menu was excellent. Great creations!

A less than friendly welcome. The food was average. The salad was rather uninspired. Good apple rings for dessert.
