Every dish is excellently prepared: the meat is tender and juicy, the breading crispy and aromatic, and the sauces delicately seasoned. Side dishes such as potato salad, fried potatoes, and vegetables are also fresh, homemade, and very tasty. In addition to schnitzels, the kitchen also offers traditional dishes such as roulades, Maultaschen (ravioli), and seasonal specialties, which are equally impressive in quality. The cooking here is still done with passion and love – and you can taste it. The service is extremely friendly, attentive, and competent. Special requests are gladly accommodated, and guests feel completely welcome. The staff are very knowledgeable about the dishes and offer good recommendations. The ambiance is rustic and cozy, well-kept, and invites you to linger. The beautifully designed beer garden is a real plus, especially in summer. There is also plenty of space for families or groups. Schwaibacher Hof's prices are absolutely fair. The portions are generous, the quality is excellent, and the value for money is more than convincing. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant with excellent cuisine, good service, and an authentic atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

We came here on a recommendation to try the tarte flambée schnitzel. Unfortunately, the schnitzel (no, it wasn't the topping) was a bit overseasoned, the fries were very salty, and the salad was okay. All in all, there was nothing that would compel us to return; there are much better restaurants in the area.

This was our second time eating there and we were completely satisfied. The food was very good and the portions were generous. Very friendly and attentive service. We will be happy to come back.

This restaurant is always worth a visit; the food portions are almost overwhelming, drinks arrive promptly, and the food tastes great. The owner is a lovely, friendly lady with a slight hint of robustness at first...but you quickly get into conversation with her, and that's when you recognize her refined manner. We ate there three times (lunch and dinner) during our two-week vacation—we enjoyed every dish! A huge thank you to the entire crew! And please keep up the good work, we'll be back!

They spontaneously stopped by for dinner shortly after noon on a Sunday in early October, so they didn't have a table reservation. Luckily, we got the last table because a family celebration was taking place at the same time. The tiled stove was lit. We immediately felt very comfortable there, and the waitress was extremely friendly. We had told her that we would be having Kaiserschmarrn after our main courses. With a smile, she advised us to wait and order it after the main course. And as it turned out, her advice was very good. We started with pancake soup. It was as delicious as we've rarely experienced. The broth was excellent, and the portion was so large that we were already slightly full. After that, we had burgers and schnitzel. And as has been described several times here: both were excellent! Unfortunately, we were so tired that we didn't get to try the Kaiserschmarrn. It's definitely on our next visit. 😀

The first time I was there, we were very rudely invited in. I thought, 'Good, at least the food is good.' And yes, the food is good. The second time we wanted to go out to eat, we were very rudely told in the dining room that they were no longer able to serve us... after which we left the restaurant. Conclusion: The food is good, but the manager should slow down a bit.

As holidaymakers, we finally managed to visit the Schwaibacher Hof. We were looking forward to the variety of schnitzels and burgers. The selection was large. Finally we decided on “Maffiosi and Hawaiischnitzel”. We were thrilled and will try two other schnitzels in February. You can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Wir waren zu viert im S. Hof. Haben viermal Schnitzel gegessen. Ein Teufelsschnitzel (ohne Panade), 2 normale Schnitzel und ein Schnitzel mit Spiegelei (Namen leider vergessen) ….. alle waren wunderbar!! Das Fleisch perfekt, saftig überhaupt nicht sehnig oder fettig. Die Panade ein Gedicht!! Die Bratkartoffeln waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Zum Abschluss gab’s noch einen hervorragenden hausgemachten Kaiserschmarrn! Alles bei einem sehr guten Preis Leistungsverhältnis und einer sehr freundlichen Bedienung. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und können die Gaststätte wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Food very, very tasty, although it's best to say that it's a schnitzel master. It feels like there are only schnitzels in all variations, but they are really very tasty. Es nervt nur wirklich tierisch, dass man eigentlich nie hingehen kann, weil geschlossen oder alles reserviert ist. Service deduction for this. Auch wenn der Service vor Ort sehr gut ist.

The prices are unbeatable at 12.50 per schnitzel meal and the portions are huge. The meat was very tender and the special breading with pumpkin seeds gave it a special kick. Highly recommend eating here if you are in the area

Frank from Schwaibacher Hof is the “Schnitzel King”. There is an extensive selection of schnitzel variations. Very creative, but still down to earth and excellent. The asparagus cordon bleu was amazing. I also cut up a photo. In addition, there is no such extensive selection of vegetarian schnitzels and burgers anywhere. Homemade Saitan is the basis for this. The schnitzel burger in the photo is one of those. My wife was thrilled. Please always reserve as a precaution. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Went to lunch at the Schwaibacher Hof today on Boxing Day. The time was perfect, 11.30am was perfect. We made reservations for 7 people and we all got our food at the same time. This was very tasty, we had Burgundy roast with dumplings and salad, pork fillet with spaetzle and broccoli, Viennese style schnitzel with fries and tarte flambée schnitzel with fries and salad. Everyone was happy, the portions were plentiful and the prices were reasonable. A thank you to the entire staff for the excellent hospitality and excellent food. Highly recommended, not just in the summer for the beer garden, but at any time of the year. Also ideal for weddings.

The positive reviews here are anything but exaggerated. The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was remarkable. The only downside is the female waiter, who should perhaps take a etiquette course. Luckily for us, we were mainly served by a male person. Waren an einem Samstag 20.05 Uhr da. Wurden etwas genervt empfangen, da die Küche um 21 Uhr schließt und wir um 20.10 Uhr unser Essen bestellt haben. Die Bedienung entschuldigte sich dann beim Küchenpersonal wegen unserer Essensbestellung, wobei ja die Küche noch 45 min geöffnet war! Am liebsten wären wir wieder gegangen. Das Essen war lecker. Aber wir kommen nie wieder

Das Essen hat prima geschmeckt, wurde sehr schnell zubereitet und die Bedienung war stets zur Stelle. Absolut empfehlenswert!

War nur beim Essen, alles bestens, Service, Essen, Preis. Lediglich die Räume sind etwas dunkel, bedingt durch das alte Gemäuer. Parkplätze wären zwar vorhanden, aber nicht sicher zum Restaurant gehörend.

Der Schwaibacher Hof in der Nähe von dem Kurort Bad Birnbach ist bekannt durch die tolle schnitzelkarte! Der Chef und zaubert jeden Monat neue Schnitzel Varianten auf dem Tisch

Wir setzten uns am Wochenende an einen der freien Tische auf dem Hof. Die weibliche Bedienung schaute völlig an uns vorbei und die männliche Bedienung ging erst 3 mal ohne Worte am Tisch vorbei, ehe er uns die Karten brachte. Ein Blickontakt oder ein "Moment ich komme gleich" hätte schon geholfen. Das Essen, Schnitzel war gut aber woanders wurden wir wesentlich freundlicher bedient.
