We would need a new kitchen, we found a kitchen here on site ( Möbel Rieger ). The consultant planned a kitchen for us on the PC, which we didn't want. Then we told her that we wanted this kitchen that was shown in the brochure for €8,500. She then said call us the next day and let us know. The next day we got a call and we were told that the saleswoman was sick and hung up. On the same day I called XXL LUTZ in Fellbach and got an appointment in two days. When it comes to advice, you're treated like a king; when it comes to complaints, you feel like a beggar. A corner bench was ordered in January 2024, delivered in June after a delivery delay, defective, and the complaint dragged on until October. A replacement was delivered in February 2025, but partially defective again. The freight forwarder took it back immediately. The star goes to the complaints department, which made an effort to remedy the situation. The salespeople and department heads are a no-brainer. Verbal promises turn into memory lapses that cost us several hundred euros. Fortunately, there are many other good! furniture stores in the region. Update May 2025: We're still waiting for the remaining delivery of the complaint. It's been 16 months! now. One is simply speechless at such incompetence.

I bought a mattress from Mr. Schnersch that was supposedly delivered twice and was only two months old, but when I got it home I noticed that it was already half sagging. This wasn't a double delivery, it was simply exchanged so that there is a new mattress in the showroom. Of course I got it cheaper, but I would never have taken it if I had known how old it really was! In the bright light in the furniture store you didn't see what you saw at home with more time in darker light, namely that everything in the middle of the mattress was scraped off and was darker than at the head or foot, and that after washing in the washing machine at 40 degrees. I have now spent a lot of money for my standards on a mattress that is half through. When asked, I was told it was bought as seen. I then spoke to the manager of the house and he wanted to give me a voucher, but when he saw that I had paid for the mattress with a credit card and only received a receipt, there was nothing! It's sad how a house like this has to declare their old mattresses as new instead of throwing them away, they'd rather take a few hundred euros for it ^^ Well times have changed, they only lie no matter what, the main thing is that the cash register is correct :-(

It's like any other "premium" discount store. Great store, products from good to bad, nice employees and everything is there. But as soon as you've bought something and left the store, the problems start... Delivery dates cannot be met, incorrect products are delivered, damaged products, no one speaks German from the suppliers, products are assembled/assembled incorrectly, no one can be reached in service, or no one knows. You are left helpless. Just like in every “premium” discount store.

"On November 30, 2023, we purchased a kitchen from XXXLutz worth €30,000, supposedly a high-quality and first-class product. The assembly date was a full 2 ​​months later than we were told. It was not the products we had discussed that were delivered, but previous season products. On the assembly day, there were constant missing parts and new orders had to be placed, with each product arriving at a different time. Within 6 months, the paint on the highly praised cabinets began to peel off, and there were constant excuses. The person who ordered the products didn't order what we wanted, but the opposite, and we only found out what the products were really like when we visited XXXLutz. We found at least 20 paint defects and were told that they would not do a report, but that they would check it themselves. We waited a whole 10 months for a faucet seal and were suggested that we should paint it ourselves for the original Quooker. We waited 5 months for the trim. For missing products 4 months, and as of April 3rd, 2025 we are still waiting for 9 doors and skirting boards. We made at least 10 appointments and canceled our own jobs to meet XXXLutz's deadlines and they couldn't complete it. Because of this, we suffered a business loss of €15,000 within 2 years. In short, XXXLutz's kitchen caused us €45,000 in damage. We have hired a lawyer who will hopefully take care of this. If you want to buy, you should think about buying from XXXLutz at least 10 times."

Delivery, ordering and setting up of the kitchen were super fast and thoroughly smooth 5 stars. But the payment processing prefers negative stars. We have made a deposit and the balance should be collected by direct debit. That never happened, then we should pay via Paypal, Cc or Klarna via a link. We paid via Klarna and the money came out in real time. But this is said to have never arrived, everything was blamed on the customers and everyone was incredibly unfriendly. I would like to give 0 stars but since the kitchen service was good it would be unfair. Everyone in the office should be fired.

Ivery good if you buy items at the store and not on the website. I wanted to buy a megasofa which ,on the website, would arrive a couple of weeks earlier than when placing an order at the market itself... and nobody would tell me why until the last minute, a very kind lady who worked there told me that the products that people can purchase on the website are about 70% of those that were sent back by other customers cuz they were unwanted items due to some issues (colors not matching, quality wasn't right, etc)... however when someone oders an item at the store, it is 100% made fresh new and they might not be available right away and it is safer when you can touch and see and order your item with so much details at the store which may not be an option when ordered online! It was shocking... even though it took 12 weeks for my stuff to arrive, i would never recommend purchasing anything from their website (unless not available on the store).

She carried out the planning with me in a very friendly and patient manner and we were also able to stick to my budget when it came to the price. Advice and sales therefore five stars. But the delivery and assembly were also very good. Delivery to the appointment was on time and a call came an hour beforehand as promised. During assembly, the fitters took care of my furnishings and also the floors and protected everything. I bought complete curtain rods and accessories from XXL Lutz Fellbach and never unpacked them. Unfortunately bought on July 24th and now no longer used after building a house. In response to multiple inquiries since January 25 (I was always promised a call back), whether the goods could perhaps be taken back in an accommodating manner (normal return policy 14 days), as the department head could decide this individually. A short conversation today and of course no return, despite the original packaging and receipt. Poor performance.

This review goes to the GOODS ISSUE: We bought chairs and wanted to pick them up. 3 out of 5 had damage! When we complained about them at the goods department and asked them to be replaced, the man at the goods department started to argue that we weren't allowed to exchange all the chairs! When we did get them replaced, it was assumed that we hadn't returned the feet of the chairs! This was clarified, but the warehouse employee didn't even apologize for the claim. The service there is terrible. They don't know friendliness there! I won't be picking up any more furniture there anytime soon. And you ask yourself why online trading is growing when you receive such kindness!

Competing furniture stores offer significantly better service. One reason: Offering delivery online for €50 and then on site for €150 is really bad. Never buy a kitchen again: Worst service ever. I felt like I was in good hands during the consultation. The consultant responded to all of my wishes. Then I ordered. Ordered in October, delivery date was promised for December/beginning of January. At the beginning of December I received an email saying that the fitters from XXXLutz would refuse to install the kitchen because a cupboard would have to be shortened. When I asked further questions, I was told that the fitters would/could only carry out orders at noon. At the same time, I was informed of an external company that would take on the job. Found out that no one answered the phone when I called. I only received a response to emails twice. Then the delivery date was given to me as February 18th. communicated, which made me complain massively because I had been without a kitchen for months. The delivery was then scheduled for January 31st. promised. A day before I was informed that the sink was missing. I immediately complained. The kitchen was then delivered on the 31st, without a sink. The gentlemen delivered the individual parts of the kitchen and simply stacked them in the empty room without at least sorting anything. Then I got another call and they wanted to make an appointment with me to see when the sink would be delivered. In the meantime, however, an employee had contacted me and said that this sink was in stock and he couldn't explain why I got such a call. -In this company, the person in front doesn't know what the person behind is doing. The kitchen was delivered on Friday. The fitters from XXXLutz then said that I had to pay the remaining amount of the kitchen purchase immediately. When I objected that I didn't know whether all the parts were there, I was told that if I didn't pay, all the parts would be taken back. So I paid. The head fitter from XXXLutz came extra and delivered the sink. He then said that the parts for installing the appliances weren't included because they weren't building the kitchen, otherwise they would have been included. On Monday it was set up by the external company at a fixed price that was previously agreed upon by XXXLutz and which I then had to pay in cash. This sum was previously deducted from my purchase price. The fitters came in the morning and first had to sort all the individual parts of the furniture, i.e. everything out and put in the hallway and then granted them again, as it should be installed. They then worked until 11:30 p.m. at night. In the meantime, they still had to purchase connection materials worth almost 40 euros. When installing, it was then found that the caps are missing in a worktop, i.e. the raw wood is to be seen and that screws for handles are not available. I then tried to call XXXLutz and didn't reach anyone all day. A personal audition on Wednesday was also unsuccessful. Consultant not there, department head busy. I then explained the situation to an employee and asked him to pass it on. When I asked who would install the missing edging and screws for the handle, I was told that the fitter would be responsible for it. I then said that the fitter is not responsible if parts are delivered incorrectly or not at all and I expect the fitters from XXXLutz to take care of it. On Thursday I tried again to reach the advisor by phone, but he was busy in the house. I was promised a call back. I then wrote another email but nothing, radio silence. No call, no message. So this has been going on for a week. Either the advisor is not in the house, like today, if he is there, I can't reach him. S. Ruttka

We actually buy a lot from XXXL Lutz and are generally always satisfied, but in our case the home textile department in Fellbach has currently shown a lot of room for improvement in terms of service orientation. Here, regulations took precedence over customer orientation. Zero goodwill in the event of an exchange with a value of just 70 euros. Requests to speak to superiors were brushed off. Unfortunately the appointment was longer. “If you had ordered online, you could have exchanged it,” we learned. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply if you bought it in a store. Exceptions?Never! Here the competition is much more flexible and, above all, friendlier. Especially when it comes to very good customers with whom you have already made significant sales during the year. It's a shame, dear Lutz, a missed opportunity.

I've been waiting for the kitchen delivery for 5 months now. It should be at the end of February. You can only get all the information if you ask and wait forever for the answer. A promised rental kitchen never arrived, nor was there any explanation as to why that was the case. So it's better to order your cuisine from somewhere else. I just have to hope that the installation goes smoothly and that the kitchen looks the way I imagined it. I also bought a bedroom wardrobe there, so there were no problems.

We waited over 45 minutes for our food, everyone after us got their food before us, complaining didn't help at all. We both ordered the same thing, with the same information, one was different from what was ordered. The iced coffee, the vanilla ice cream was full of frozen water and pieces of ice.
