XXXL Restaurant Nürnberg in Nürnberg

Wanted to eat there with vouchers from a brochure. It said at 5:39 p.m. that the kitchen was closed. I can't find when the kitchen closes either in the brochure or online. Then we would have planned for that. The chair was full of crumbs and plates/glasses were on a few tables. Cleanliness not against. Especially when the kitchen is closed, the restaurant could look neat.

We had breakfast and it was delicious.

Pros: you will have something to eat after so much walking and so much thinking. Cons: the tables are VERY close to each other and totally eliminates the privacy factor of a pleasant experience while eating. Also the Schnitzel and fries had a big portion for 12€ but also had this burnt oil smell that we often feel when going to a 1 star fast food restaurant! The Flädlesoup if I am correct with the dictation, was very small in portion and the eggs inside were tasteless, but its juice was very delicious. Overall not recommended and never visit again!

Yes, it was very nice. Unfortunately, there was nothing written on the outside and there was nothing written on it, why strange and then after a short guess we were allowed to go in. The prompt service can only be praised. Unfortunately, parts of the food were cold and the pork fillet was a bit tough and gnarly. We also had to wait a long time to pay

I would even give 0 stars for the service. We just wanted to order food to take away and were then ignored at the counter for 10 minutes. Then we were told yes, we'll be there soon and we should take a seat and wait a moment. Cashing in from customers was possible. We waited another 10 minutes and still weren't served. Then we left because it was too stupid.

Great breakfast with top quality

After almost 30 minutes, after several requests, the waitress came to take the order. After another 15 minutes the soup arrived! The drinks came after the soup! So much for the service! About the food: the soup was, on the bright side, lukewarm! But rather cold! Despite the Wirtshaus Schnitzel variant, the schnitzel was dry and very tasteless! Definitely the last visit for food!

It was our first meal at a furniture store restaurant and definitely a good experience. Due to the number of guests, especially those over 50, you immediately notice that the price-performance ratio is good. The selection of dishes was satisfactory and the food was tasty. The staff was very friendly and the little serving robot not only made children smile.

The fries were inedible, downright disgusting. I don't think they're made of potatoes at all. Undercooked, white, dried out, the cheapest frozen fries. Plus overpriced non-carbonated Pepsi. Low quality.

During our visit we had to wait a short time because the restaurant was very full. The food was fine, my noodles took the longest as expected.

Since the renovation, it's noticeably more cramped than before. On the last visit our food was forgotten. After asking, we were told that the many other dishes would be prepared first, but suddenly our food was ready - but cold and the fries were soft. Of course it can happen, but without an apology or accommodation it's a bit of a shame.

Come over regularly for dinner and the offerings have actually been very good so far. However, the food today wasn't good: the "cheese croutons" with the onion soup were just half a slice of white toast with a slice of cheese melted on it and the steak, which I specifically ordered medium, was blue to rare, see photo. It's a shame because it was actually always good up until that point. Service was friendly as always.

We have never eaten such bad food. Cordon Bleu with fries. This relatively expensive price does not match the quality of the food at all. Drinks were also adulterated. Almost an impertinence. And then advertise this “delicious” restaurant. Once and never again We don't eat there anymore.

The restaurant specializes in quick dishes such as schnitzel etc., but always offers special offers with traditional dishes. So today we got a duck leg with two dumplings and red cabbage and a bottle of mulled wine for 14 euros. For dessert there was a house pancake with vanilla ice cream for two euros. The food was very delicious and the service was very friendly. From my point of view, a clear recommendation.

Today we ate duck leg with red cabbage and dumplings and chicken schnitzel. Both very tasty. The service staff were also very friendly. On top of that there were 2 bottles of mulled wine, you can't complain about that!

For a restaurant in a furniture store, you can't complain about the food or the prices. The service is friendly and accommodating. If the restaurant is full it takes a while but you will be served.

Fast food restaurant with table service. Daily offer Cordon blue ordered... Okay for 7.99 euros, fries are very manageable. Service ok. You can but you don't have to.

Restaurant cafe is the best place to eat at home

The expectations of a restaurant in a furniture store are not high. I only went there to have a coffee while my family bought a sofa. The playroom is great for the kids. It is closed so there is no noise, but has a glass wall. So I also kept an eye on the children from the outside. The children were thrilled with the playroom's furnishings. The restaurant was completely overcrowded on Friday (Bridge Day). The staff couldn't keep up, no matter how hard they hurried. Definitely understaffed. I waited 30 minutes for the water I ordered. Coffee and cake came a little quicker )) Why a furniture store doesn't offer a self-service restaurant is a mystery to me. In this way, ordering and delivery could have been saved in favor of customer satisfaction. In my presence a man canceled his order because he had to leave after 1 hour 20 minutes. Maybe it was an exception because Friday was a bridge day.

Invited to breakfast and initially shocked at what a rush ensues as soon as the doors are open. I didn't know until now how fast people with walkers can get to the elevator. The breakfast was ok, there were vouchers that let you save even more. Personally, I need my Bamberger for breakfast, a selection of cheese, as well as salmon and jam and a little yoghurt. I just couldn't read the menu in peace because everyone was insisting on their vouchers. However, the service staff is really top. Friendly and attentive. After 2 hours the restaurant was full as lunch started. What I saw at the tables looked appealing and smelled delicious to us. Eating cheaply in these times is certainly a great alternative for many.

Food is really good. The service is particularly commendable. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and it was really busy. The service had everything under control and was very friendly. A real professional!

I was there today to eat Kaiserschmarrn, the Kaiserschmarrn was delicious and the service staff were friendly. There are always restaurant coupons in the mail that you can use to eat at very attractive prices.

Simply the best restaurant. Good service and delicious food, that's all you need. There's also robot service, a cute cat Robi who also says "meow" at the end. Prices are okay, you can fill yourself up for €20 and get a dessert too. I can only recommend something like that.

This place was amazing, especially the little robot that brings you your food. It is a true restaurant vibe, even though it is in a furniture store and the service is extremely fast. We had the Currywurst and cordon blue and it was the perfect amount as well as reasonably priced. Definitely a great place to take a break after shopping or just to come and eat any other time.

Disgusting food. Oversalted soup with potatoes, tough meat and sour tomatoes. Two thin, tasteless schnitzels and not crispy potatoes. The coffee they brought didn't make me want to drink it. I'm never coming here again!

You shouldn't forget that you're sitting in a furniture store. The ambience is really great for a location like this. The things are all more than solidly cooked. Prices are absolutely fair. A round thing. Please do not compare with a restaurant. Everything fits here.

Roboter brings food to the table

Experience has shown that the food is quite tasty, but unfortunately the restaurant is extremely loud, crowded and warm. You wait a whole 25 minutes until you have a drink and the whole time the previous person's dirty dishes are still on the table

There was almost nothing going on for coffee and cake, the staff talked for a long time until they noticed you. A lot has changed in terms of appearance in the restaurant. There was only a small selection of cakes, but the sweet spring greeting and the curd pancakes with rhubarb are recommended.

Recommended if you are weak from power shopping. It's best to get a customer card so you can regularly get coupons with discounted meals. But it's also worth it when buying products.

Really very very unfriendly staff! Been there a few times, same thing every time!!!! You wait forever to order and are then approached in an unpleasant manner by the stressed staff. I hesitated for a long time and didn't want to write a review like that. However, I've had enough of it!!! Eating and drinking outside is already so expensive that you only allow yourself to do so every now and then. And then leave my hard-earned money to unfriendly people?? No thanks!!! I ask HR management to either remedy the situation or simply throw out one or two employees who don't seem to be friendly or competent enough. There are enough warehouse jobs for people like that!!! You don't have to be friendly to pallets and mesh boxes!!!! Thanks for nothing!

Was downsized, very difficult to even get a place. You're sitting too close to your neighbor. The waitresses are completely overloaded and everything takes forever. And when you eat it, you get the impression that it's ready-made food from the metro that was only briefly warmed up in the deep fryer.

Personally, I just find it embarrassing not to have even a single substitute milk in 2024. In a restaurant that looks ultra-modern and even has a robot that drives around eating, there is not a single vegan dish or veganizable dish on the menu. Have coffee and cake there and no oat milk? Every café in Nuremberg now has something like this, at least a milk for people who don't drink cow's milk. This is extremely unpleasant for one guest, as he can then only order a soft drink, while the person opposite can consume coffee and cake without restriction. Should be reconsidered...

Achtung bei Essen to Go (5€ Aktion)!! Leider durfte ich das Essen nicht mitnehmen, als ich die Dame drauf ansprach sagte sie das man mir das nicht mit geben kann zu dem Preis was in der Zeitung stand (da war nix gestanden von ausschließlich im Restaurant Essen gestanden. Seitlich in klein hies es dass, das abholpreise sind) und so bin ich mit leeren Händen gegangen. Und bis heute kam keine Antwort auf die Nachricht das ganze ist ca 2-3 Wochen her.

Achtung ⚠️ hygienisch es ist null hier. Und noch da zu unfreundlich Personal..

War schon öfter dort Essen/Frühstücken. Leider waren die Tische und das Besteck immer fleckig, hier besteht Nachholbedarf (Selbstputzen sollte nicht Normalzustand sein).

Tolles Ambiente seit der Renovierung und immer nettes, aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen vielseitig und gut. Und auch ein Platz für die Kleinen zum Spielen.

Schönes Restaurant mit freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter -innen. Zu meiner Überraschung hat Kollege Roboter teilweise die Speisen an den Tisch gebracht. Wir wollten nur einen kleinen Nachmittag Snack und bekamen dann sogar die angebotene Kinderportion mit Hähnchen Schnitzel und Pommes, quasi als "Senioren Teller"... was auch recht lecker war.

Nicht genug Personal und das Restaurant schließt um 18 Uhr 😟 Es wäre gut, auf der Tür zum indoor Spielplatz ein Schild zu haben, wo steht, dass man die Schuhe VOR der Tür ausziehen muss! Und sowohl Erwachsene als auch Kinder!

Waren schon lange nicht mehr hier denn die letzten Besuche waren nicht überzeugend gewesen. Die Neugestaltung hat sich gelohn und auch die Qualität der Speisen hat zugelegt.
