An exclusive location with a beautiful ambience. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is high quality and really tasty. We would come here again and again (family with two smaller children and grandparents) Highly recommended!

The pizzeria, 12 Apostles is highly recommended, very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately we are just passing through, otherwise the Pizzeria 12 apostles would be our preferred restaurant, thanks for the delicious, huge pizza.

It is a beautifully designed location with a depiction of the 12 apostles. But since it was very loud I left after 45 minutes.

Do you like pasta dishes that have absolutely no taste? A waitress who doesn't care in the slightest? An atmosphere of a company canteen in the 80s? Then you have come to the right place in 12 Apostles! The prices are simply too high for that.

Unfortunately I can only give this 2 stars. We had two company parties here and both times the food was very mixed. The veal was tough and the mousse was almost runny, to name just two points. The ambience is okay but it is very loud.

First of all: The location in which the restaurant is located is very nice and harmoniously furnished. The service can be rated as good and unobtrusive. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. The starter plate was absolutely fine. But the pasta we ordered was no longer al dente and absolutely tasteless. The seafood on my plate was rather limited, the oily sauce didn't taste that good. The parmesan I ordered didn't add any additional flavor either. We didn't finish eating and also told the waitress that we weren't satisfied. She wanted to pass it on to the chef. There was no apology, a replacement or even a drink on the house. We have been to the 12 Apostle several times and the food has always been ok. The restaurant is within walking distance for us. But now we probably won't come back. The prices are simply too high for what we were served.

The location is the only thing that was good. Service was super bad, I had ordered a burrata with grilled tomatoes in advance. Instead, normal tomatoes came, which I unfortunately had to send back because I wanted grilled tomatoes. The waitress came back with the same plate and said they were grilled tomatoes. Apart from that, the waitress was passive aggressive and almost let the dishes fly onto our table. Don't come back.

We were there with the whole family and were looking forward to a lovely evening. The location is impressively large, with lavish decorations. Travel bottles on the walls. It is more reminiscent of a train station than a cozy restaurant. The food? Unfortunately mixed. My minestrone was oversalted and a tiny portion. The pizza is mediocre at best. I expected more for the prices. Added to this is the volume: music and voice levels make it difficult to eat in a relaxed manner. All in all: visually impressive, culinary disappointing.

The slightly 'different' Italian. The large, beautiful hall in the Pelikanviertel is certainly unique. The noise level, including the music, is already higher than at the Italian restaurant around the corner. But you quickly feel at home, unless you are looking for silence. You are seated and the friendly service is attentive and quick. If you want good, tasty (and large) pizzas, you've come to the right place. But the entire map also offers enough alternatives. Gladly again

Food good, service subpar. My meal (Vitello Tonato and pizza) was good and the quantity was more than sufficient. My wife had a salad as a starter. This could have been cut much finer. After being seated, including cards, we sat unnoticed for 15 minutes, then tried to get someone from the service to come to the table. 15 minutes unsuccessful. The service has the gift of consistently not looking. After ordering, drinks and food arrived in a reasonable time. We wanted to order another glass of wine. No chance. Conclusion: the food is good, but not so good that it makes up for the poor service. Risk of recurrence: 0%

Unbelievable, after 20 minutes and several waves, a waiter took pity on serving us. We wanted to order everything straight away because we simply knew what we wanted to eat. Nice answer was, just because they order everything together doesn't mean it comes any quicker... Sorry, if they had been with us sooner, we would have been happy with something to drink. So you can tell how much the waiters enjoy doing their job. The appetizer came before the drinks! And oops, limiting water was also too much to ask of the drinks service. Food was good, but I've also eaten better. Don't know if I would come back again.

The restaurant was very busy, so I ultimately had difficulty understanding the person I was talking to. The price-performance ratio We paid 42€ per person for the menu. plus drinks paid. These were fair, comparable to other restaurants. The food itself was very tasty, but at least the menu wasn't worth the price for me. I will definitely eat there again à la carte. I don't recommend it as a large group or for the group menus.

Following a recommendation, we tested the Ristorante for the second time, with the family who came from North Rhine-Westphalia - what can I say, if they don't come back to Hanover for us, they will definitely come for this food! Absolutely phenomenal! We shared appetizers at the beginning, which really wasn't a problem at all. The main course was an absolute highlight for everyone and there was really nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The portions are completely sufficient and we were more than satisfied with the price. The service staff (a very friendly gentleman) was incredibly attentive, made sure that we had ordered the right thing and asked at good times whether everything fit/tasted good/there was anything else that could be done for us. Really very attentive service that I have never experienced before. Our stomach just couldn't make room for tiramisu. Next time we'll start with dessert so we can test this recommendation! 🙏

Nobody leaves here hungry. 36cm is really crazy. A little tip, start with bruschetta or share an antipasta plate for two. And it's good that you can share the large pizza. The only disadvantage: since there is only one large hall, when the restaurant is full the noise of conversations can be heard in the room. The food in our case 7x pizza and 1x salad was very tasty. But I would particularly like to highlight the service. There wasn't any question about who had ordered what and I thought that was huge since the restaurant wasn't exactly empty. We felt very well served. When the restaurant is full, the volume level isn't exactly conducive to relaxed conversations, but that's the only thing that could be criticized here. But we'll still come back.

And then the food – a dream! The pizza was absolutely delicious, probably the best I've had in a long time. The dough was perfectly crispy, the topping was fresh and tasty. You can tell that great value is placed on quality and taste here. Together with Karina's great service and the cozy atmosphere, the “12 Apostles” definitely left a lasting impression. I will definitely come back and highly recommend the restaurant!

At first glance, the ambience aroused expectations, none of which could be fulfilled. The atmosphere has something of a waiting hall in which tables have been lined up carelessly and unimaginatively. It was incredibly loud. The service was totally chaotic and disorganized the entire evening. It took a long time to be welcomed and brought to the table, as was every interaction with us guests. Drinks were still available, but the food order took a long time to arrive. When the food came, I was disappointed to find that the pizza I ordered ("12 Apostles") had toppings, but the toppings were only in the middle of the pizza. There wasn't even any cheese or anything on the edge, which is why it was hard, dry and not at all delicate. Instead I had a mountain of rocket and cream cheese in a pile. For the price I expect something different, especially since it's probably the least you can do to top a pizza correctly. Due to the inadequate service, we didn't stay any longer, which was definitely our intention before our visit. I have no idea what went wrong yesterday, but it ruined our evening and I will refrain from coming here again.

We were guests at a wedding, the location was nice, the food was good but unfortunately it was cleared away very early. The employees were friendly but again unfortunately not good. The ingredients for the long drinks were swapped several times. Then, for example, there was regularly rum with tonic and gin with cola, which I didn't like that much.

We celebrated our wedding in the Apostle Hall behind the actual restaurant and were completely satisfied. From the first contact to the day of the celebration, we were looked after very well and everything was arranged according to our wishes without any problems. Spontaneous changes were never a problem. The service at the celebration was totally attentive and friendly and the food was very tasty. The location offers plenty of space for a larger celebration and there is its own bar in the room, so you have nothing to do with the actual restaurant business. All guests were also enthusiastic about the location, the food and the service. We would celebrate there again at any time!
