The canteen is operated by the Hannoversche Werkstätten through the “Integrativ Essen” project. There are three changing dishes, a starter soup, a small salad bar, two desserts and currywurst with fries. The dishes are simple but good, the portions are large enough and the prices are right. The service is well prepared and super friendly, so things are really quick in keeping with a canteen. The space is on the 5th floor and offers a great view over Hanover. The decor is simple but friendly and clean.

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious – especially the schnitzel and the apple crumble cheesecake, which were simply divine! The raspberry beer was also a highlight. The atmosphere is totally relaxed and cozy. A place you'll enjoy visiting in both summer and winter. Highly recommended!

Goethestraße 37So, perhaps this is a repercussion from my previous review of the shop next door. I was here on Saturday. I had shawarma + fried chicken + fries + gravy and coleslaw. To be honest, I liked the shawarma from the shop next door a bit better. But it was still very tasty. Two different types (here it's more spicy and dry, the shop next door has less spice and more gravy). But the fried chicken is really tasty. Overall, the service here is average, pleasant, and everything is just right. The prices are also very good. I'd definitely come back.
