Restaurant in the TuS Davenstedt clubhouse The owner's answer confirms my advice - please put all agreements in writing! Of course, the service must be paid for, but unfortunately the agreed service was not provided. The innkeeper's explanation of the picture is simply ridiculous. The potato casserole and the chicken legs were not offered as breakfast; warm dishes were already on offer. At the innkeeper's insistence, the warm meals were served more than an hour before the agreed time because the breakfast offering was not enough for all guests! We didn't want the champagne reception, but my wife was still pressured to agree to it when the guests arrived! Contrary to previous agreements, the innkeeper had apparently prepared the champagne reception. Perhaps the price and the alleged quantity of “champagne bottles” explain the innkeeper’s eagerness. I would have paid a sixth for this sparkling wine in the store and the number of bottles, well. My personal recommendation for a successful brunch - it's best to look for another restaurant! If this is not possible or desired, please note the following. Be sure to record the agreements/agreements regarding scope, quality and costs (including the different prices for adults and children) in writing. Also write down what is meant by the promise “the restaurant is closed to other guests”! Be sure to take photos of the buffet at the beginning and also in between when refills are added! Drinks brands are recommended for guests. The guests hand this in when they order - then the invoice is much easier to prepare and misunderstandings are avoided. I strongly advise against poultry, zander fillet and schnitzel as warm dishes. For the most part, our guests skipped the chicken legs altogether. The fish was inedible. Actually, one portion should be prepared for each guest. “If not all the guests come, you have to eat a lot each day. There’s a lot of shopping going on!” - the host’s original sound. Luckily, contrary to the landlord's promise, there was very little of the fish available. The schnitzel, I only found 2 unsightly parts (probably from the deep fryer). Of course not eaten; Although I still felt hungry due to the measly breakfast. But at the end I don't want to hide the praise from some guests. “We had potato casserole and the tzatziki was good!” The marked area shows the space that was intended for the zander fillet and the schnitzel for 42 people. By the way, the picture shows the entire area for the hot dishes, there was no other choice! The 3 containers, half of which can still be seen on the right, contained scrambled eggs, small sausages and bacon from breakfast.

Visit at the beginning of May '24: Club house with VERY good and cheap cuisine: (You don't have to pay rent in the club and you can pass that on to the guests, I assume). "Integrations-Köffte", as a small reference to the Turkish innkeeper who spoils the guests with his wife: We had the fresh asparagus (partly plus schnitzel), shrimp pan and fried potatoes with fried eggs: EVERYTHING was huge portions and delicious! A really homemade hollondaise sauce is a sign of the cook's skills! The prices are absolutely 👌! The ambience is also cozy. Conclusion: We would love to come back here

Sports bar. Menu is quite large. Food is really prepared and good. Value for money is good. Unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time until the food came.

New Year's Eve party with a difference. 50€ person for food and what was offered in return is really cheeky. You can actually expect more. After a number of complaints, some guests left quite early, the music went well enough. After midnight there was lukewarm gurrywurst that wasn't even cooked through. It could also be dangerous to drink an ouzo in one of the glasses, which a listless waitress had previously looked for somewhere on the tables because the table had to be cleared of empty glasses in between None, there was a splinter of glass that wasn't particularly small. Overall, the owner should think about organizing something like that in the future.

The map has been significantly expanded for about a year. On the other hand, some meat dishes recently have not been of convincing quality. Sea bream and sole were ok. I also have the impression that the prices are now quite high.
