Restaurant in the TuS Davenstedt clubhouse The owner's response confirms my advice - please put all agreements in writing! Of course, the service must be paid for, but unfortunately, the agreed service was not provided. The landlord's explanation for the picture is simply ridiculous. The potato casserole and the chicken legs were not offered as breakfast; they were part of the hot dishes. At the landlord's insistence, the hot dishes were served over an hour before the agreed time because the breakfast offerings weren't sufficient for all guests! We didn't want the champagne reception, but my wife was nevertheless pressured to agree to it when the guests arrived! Contrary to previous agreements, the landlord had apparently prepared the champagne reception. Perhaps the price and the alleged number of "champagne bottles" explain the landlord's zeal. I would have paid a sixth of the price for this champagne in a store, and the number of bottles, well, okay. My personal recommendation for a successful brunch - it's best to find another restaurant! If this isn't possible or desirable, please note the following. Be sure to record in writing all agreements regarding the scope, quality, and costs (including the different prices for adults and children). Also, document in writing what is meant by the promise "the restaurant is closed to other guests"! Be sure to take photos of the buffet at the beginning and also during the buffet refills! Drink tokens are recommended. Guests hand them over when ordering – this makes the bill much easier and avoids misunderstandings. As for hot dishes, I strongly advise against poultry, pike-perch fillets, and schnitzel. Our guests largely avoided the chicken legs altogether. The fish was inedible. A portion should have been prepared for each guest. "If not all of your guests come, you'll have to eat a lot these days. A lot of shopping is done!" - the owner's exact words. Fortunately, contrary to the owner's promise, there was very little fish available. The schnitzel: I only found two unsightly pieces (probably from the deep fryer). Of course, I didn't eat them; Although the meager breakfast left us feeling quite hungry. But I don't want to ignore the praise some guests gave us. "They did have potato casserole, and the tzatziki was good!" The marked area shows the space reserved for the pike-perch fillet and schnitzel for 42 people. Incidentally, the picture shows the entire area reserved for hot dishes; there was no other choice! The three containers, half of which are still visible on the right, contained scrambled eggs, small sausages, and bacon from breakfast.

Visit in early May '24: Clubhouse with VERY good and affordable food: (You don't have to pay rent in the club and can pass this on to the guests, I assume). "Integration Kofte" is a small nod to the Turkish innkeeper, who, along with his wife, spoils the guests: We had the fresh asparagus (sometimes with schnitzel), the shrimp pan, and fried potatoes with a fried egg: ALL were huge portions and delicious! Especially the truly homemade hollandaise sauce is a testament to the cook's skill! The prices are absolutely 👌! The atmosphere is also cozy. Conclusion: We'd love to come back.

Sports bar. The menu is quite extensive. The food is authentically prepared and good. It's good value for money. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for the food to arrive.

A different kind of New Year's Eve party. €50 per person for food and what was offered for that is really cheeky. You really expect more. After several complaints, some guests left pretty early, but the music finally got going. After midnight there was lukewarm gurrywurst that wasn't even cooked through. It could also be dangerous to drink ouzo. In one of the glasses, which a listless waiter had previously searched for somewhere on the table because there had been no attempt to clear the table of empty glasses, there was a rather not small piece of glass. All in all the owner should think twice about organizing something like this in the future.

The map has been significantly expanded for about a year. On the other hand, some meat dishes recently have not been of convincing quality. Sea bream and sole were ok. I also have the impression that the prices are now quite high.
