This was our first time at this hotpot restaurant and we were really impressed overall. The selection of fresh ingredients was fantastic – from vegetables to meat to seafood, everything was very fresh and beautifully presented. We especially liked the option to choose different broths, so everyone at the table could find something to their liking. The staff were very friendly and attentive, explained everything well, and regularly asked if we needed anything else. The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and lively – perfect for an evening with friends or family.

We were more than satisfied! From the very first moment, we felt very welcome – the hospitality is exceptional. The food was fresh, aromatic, and of the highest quality, with a wide selection that left nothing to be desired. We particularly appreciated the traditional Chinese decor, which lends the ambiance an authentic and cozy atmosphere. The service was also attentive, prompt, and warm. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – we would be happy to return and can highly recommend the restaurant!

We were there today with four people and paid €170. I'm disappointed... The food was good, but unfortunately we weren't full. I just got a menu from the mces. Service was unfortunately nonexistent. Plates weren't cleared, and we weren't even asked if we wanted something to drink... why would we, when you can order everything by tray? We got a seat right by a staircase despite having a reservation. Opposite our seat were chairs lined up against the wall, where waiting guests were seated until a table was free. It felt a bit like a waiting room at some government office. Unfortunately, very disappointing, especially for these prices.

Delicious hotpot restaurant right next to the main train station. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio has declined in recent years, so I currently find it overpriced. For anyone new to hotpot or just craving a change, you can't go wrong here, but you'll just pay a little extra.

We had hotpot for the first time. A friendly waitress explained everything to us right away and even helped us choose the dip. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the staff is very attentive. Everything tasted good (as I said, it was our first time, so we have nothing to compare it to), but unfortunately, I found it simply too expensive. We didn't pick many ingredients for the hotpot, and each of us only had one drink, but the bill was still quite high.

My first hot pot experience – it was incredibly good! They offer a selection of different broths; we had the bone broth with mushrooms, Szechuan with European spice, and tomato soup. There's also a huge selection of toppings – my personal highlight was the Wagyu (even though it's a bit pricey at €28, it's worth every cent). You can create your own sauces and then enjoy them in the hot pot. The service was very attentive and friendly. It's right next to the main train station, although the entrance is a bit hidden. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back :)

We received a very friendly welcome, and everything was explained to us in detail, even helping us mix the sauce. What can I say? The food was incredibly delicious and a lot of fun. Very authentic Chinese cuisine. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to it.

Well... high expectations and a huge disappointment! €82 for four, and no one was full. Portions of 10-12 strips of beef, around €10. Vegetables from €5 per person. Pasta, €10, a bit more than a slice of toast. Sauces per person, €3.75 (always empty at the buffet). No watermelon, and the crab crackers were pretty bland. Expect at least €30 per person. Unfortunately... We're going to get a kebab now. 🥙

In my opinion, this is the best hotpot restaurant in Frankfurt. A huge selection, and if you like things really spicy, this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly and gave us really detailed advice.

Food, drinks, and service were all excellent. The table/bench was constructed at such a height that you can't get your legs under the table (I'm 1.83m). The only way to help is to sit in a split position or sideways. I think it's because the hot pot is in the middle of the table, so there's no room underneath. It's better to put the pot on one side so you can sit properly next to it.

An inconspicuous door leads up a staircase to the first floor. Great view of the main station while eating. Unfortunately, after a two-hour stay, my jacket smells strongly of Chinese food.

This brand of hotpot is rare in Chongqing, but there are many stores in North America and Europe. I haven't tried this store in Frankfurt. Some people on the Internet praise the taste, while others say it's average. So, I'll definitely try it next time I go to Frankfurt.

The choice is simply huge: there are many types of meat, and excellent vegetarian options. I was especially impressed by the ability to create your own sauce - so many original flavors, you want to try everything! I would like to separately note the work of the staff: very attentive and quickly respond to any requests. I was also pleased with how the ordering process is organized - with the help of a tablet, it is easy to choose broth, meat, vegetables and other ingredients to your taste. To be honest, I am not sure that I will come back again - the price is still biting. But it is definitely worth trying this place at least once. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a gastronomic experience - it is truly amazing!

The lighting is pleasantly dimmed, creating a relaxed, almost cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Service & Friendliness: What really impressed me was the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. The staff was not only consistently polite, but also very attentive, helpful, and patient – ​​especially if you (like me) are new to hotpot. Everything was explained perfectly, from the different broths to the correct cooking sequence. You really feel welcome. And don't worry: Even if you don't speak Chinese, you'll be well looked after here – communication in German and English works perfectly. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My friend and I came in wanting to order some noodle dishes, which are clearly on the menu. However, the owner refused to serve us simply because we didn’t order hotpot. They claimed they were “too busy” to take our order — even though the restaurant was far from full, with only a few customers around. Frankly, I don’t understand what they’re being so superior about. The attitude was unnecessarily dismissive and made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. As paying customers, we expected basic courtesy and fair service. Sadly, this place failed on both fronts. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated decently.

A true culinary journey. Aromatic, diverse, and soooo delicious. 2 hours of eating isn't even noticeable, and it should go on for even longer. You can choose from various hot pots and combine your own ingredients. I realized once again that I only have a fraction of the knowledge of Asian/Chinese cuisine. Really surprised to find such an authentic hotpot restaurant in the middle of the city. Food was fanatically good. Location wise, a little dodgy for a foreigner. Booking was done online, but can’t be found.

The price is not worth the performance! Ate for 100 euros for two and then, hungry, picked up a kebab from the shop below! Example: 0.3 liters of cola for €5, not even 1 liter of water for €8! Taste: The noodles were tasty, the vegetables looked fresh, but the meat was a bit disappointing. Service: Let's put it this way, there was unwanted entertainment from the service... If you look at it loosely: * No instruction on the pad! * Water was added to the soup without asking, which further watered down the already very bland taste. * Plates were cleared even though there was still food on them, without asking! * Our "waitress" scratched her nose with her finger, with her finger halfway in. Ever wonder why the heck I would eat Chinese food in Europe when I'm from Asia? Food was so good, no question about it. The spicy beef is so tender and the noodles texture were so good, nice and chewy. Service, the lady was super nice to us.

I would have liked to give minus stars for the service. I had reserved it by email 14 days in advance for a birthday and had written it down and asked if I could get a nice place. This was also agreed upon again by phone. When we landed there, no one was interested, the reservation manager was super unfriendly and we got a place at the door! The glasses smell like fish and are dirty! The chopsticks too! If you ask for ice cubes you will get ice cubes where the raw meat is stored with small raw pieces. Very unhygienic! For the price 3 people €200! Super bad quality! I'm very disappointed because the reviews were very good. The ambience is not as shown in the pictures.

Just a quick reminder, this restaurant was force closed two years ago due to food safety issues, more than 50 customers got food poisoning reported it and the place got shut down. Personally, I will keep that in mind before I pay 50€ per person to eat here. One of the most overrated location in Frankfurt.

Insanely delicious and authentic food! My partner and I had a real “wow” experience at this restaurant in a long time. The restaurant is on the 1st floor and the entrance is therefore a little difficult to find, but once we arrived everything was perfect - very nice service, everything was explained to us in detail and things were also recommended (be sure to have one of the two sauces mixed, as recommended), very authentic decor and lots of special and unusual ingredients to choose from. We made a reservation online and were seated immediately at the appropriate time. The entrance is still on Kaiserstrasse through a side door with "Xiaolongkan Hotpot" written on it. The reservation is valid for 2 hours, and due to its widespread popularity, the service also ensures that this is adhered to. We were there for the first time and we asked about it in a friendly manner, and then we explained how it works in an equally friendly manner. We ordered the “a bit spicy” chili broth, the tomato broth and the match winner of the evening, the mushroom broth. The medium-hot version of the chili broth is for diehards. We ordered shrimp, seasoned beef, chicken and rolled beef as well as chrysanthemum leaves, Chinese cabbage and shrimp dumplings (top!). After the initial helplessness at the sauce buffet, the friendly waitress quickly mixed and served us some. Then the soup feast began and it was great! The broth was topped up regularly because some of it evaporated during the boiling process. The four of us and because we were obviously extremely greedy, we paid 180 EUR with drinks and tips We would love to come back!

We had a lovely evening there. It's worth reserving a table, otherwise there may be nothing available. It's a good location right next to the main train station. As vegetarians, we still had a good selection. The slightly spicy hotpot is sufficient for people who don't eat very spicy food.

I have eaten at four Xiaolongkan restaurants in Europe, and this one is the most average. Both Maodu and Huangthroat are quite toothsome. The price is not the people-friendly price in Germany. If you are confused, you can go to Dusseldorf to eat.

I visit China very often and have visited this restaurant very often. Now you don't need to fly to China to eat xiao long kan hotpot. The restaurant is at least as good as in China. You don't have to be able to speak Chinese either. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All dishes are always absolutely fresh. I've never had a reason to complain and I'm very picky. Above all, I attach great importance to cleanliness and hygiene. Even looking into the kitchen didn't give me any concerns. There are no compromises for me. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
