Wurststand Hbf in Berlin

I ordered shawarma, half of it was with potatoes instead of chicken, but the chicken was very fatty, nothing stuck together, the seller wasn't friendly and acted like it wasn't there. I don't recommend it.🤮🤮🤮

Food is quite ok, relatively speaking you get a relatively small kebab (normally ordered) for now almost normal 7€. I suspect there is no garlic sauce locally but rather tzatziki based on the taste. The service was ok and the kebab was prepared quickly. Strangely enough, I still have the kebab taste in my mouth after 4 hours, despite drinking and taking mint TicTacs.

This small snack bar is located right next to the main train station, unfortunately a bit inconspicuous. The kebab is very tasty, with a variety of sauces. The ingredients are fresh. Not all menu items can be guaranteed later in the evening.

Let me set the scene for y'all. I had traveled 7 hours by train from London and checked into my hotel starving. I walked outside looking for anything that was still open and low and behold angelic music started playing when I saw this kebab place glimmering in the distance. AND LET ME TELL YALL THIS IS BEST KEBAB EVER!! Quite literally never had anything yummier!! Go get yourself a kebab from here your life will change 😌

I ordered a double hamburger for €9, the food arrived very quickly, had a large burger with double meat and fries with ketchup on it, it was very tasty! I went there with 4 friends and he gave us a free 1.5 liter of Sprite, I would highly recommend going there.

Very tasty kebab and the owner (or waiter) Mejib was very nice. He helped my friends who just came to Berlin for the first time and gave us fries and Turkish tea because it was very cold outside (-1 degree). Recommended.

Has been open again since August 2024 with a new operator and new concept (döner). New name “Grillstand Hbf”.

The store reopened on Friday last week. I've gone three times so far to test everything. Nice staff and somehow a very pleasant atmosphere under the train tracks for some reason. However, you have to say that the food somehow tastes like very little. So far I've had fried noodles that didn't taste like anything. The next time I had a kebab that was okay but tasted neither good nor bad, it was a taste to forget. On my last visit I ate a burger. I would like to rate it, but I can't say how it tasted. Somehow I had already forgotten the taste after getting up from the chair. What all dishes have in common is that they have too little salt. In addition, there is a certain something about everything, which is a shame because I really like the location of the restaurant. Revamping the sauces and standardizing the ingredients for each dish with the same amount might help here. That's why I unfortunately have to rate the snack bar a little worse than I would like to. The nicest staff and the most beautiful ambience don't mean much if the food is somehow forgettable. I don't mean that in a bad way, but as a serious criticism because I hope that the store will continue to develop.

This was my second time there. Currywurst and fries. Delicious. And the menu with a drink in the immediate vicinity of the main train station cannot be topped in terms of price/performance.

A good tasty sausage with fries. Although it is under the train station, it still has its charm.

Sehr freundliche Inhaberin, schickes Ambiente. Currywurst schmeckt einzigartig gut, egal ob mit Pommes rot oder weiß, fast wie in NRW (Wer hats erfunden?) Berliner Pilsner sowieso immer ein Genuß, gerne wieder.

Bestellt über Lieferando, Essen wurde nicht geliefert, nach 90 Minuten kam Storno, Laden am 5.2.23 wohl geschlossen. Unter der 0800 Rufnummer keiner erreichbar, nur ein Fax.

Essen ist okay. Hat irgendwie das Berlin-Ambiente, weswegen ich dort mal essen gehen musste :)

The Currywurst was good but the service left a foul taste in my mouth… I speak fluent German and ordered “two Currywurst with Pommes” as stated on the menu. The lady made two Currywurst and two Pommes and wanted to charge me more. I explained to her, no I ordered off the menu verbatim “two Currywurst with Pommes” and she continues to argue back. I found myself apologising, even though as the person working there she should know her menu and, given the potential confusion, should confirm that the customer did indeed want two portions of Currywurst and two of Pommes before making the order. In any case, I didn’t stand down because I didn’t want so many fries and she never once was even an ounce sympathetic or admitting that she could have done something differently. Anyway, just confirm your order because this seems to happen frequently, based on the other reviews. And I’m sure trying to explain in English or broken German wouldn’t work out so well.

Sehr nettes Personal und sehr freundliche Inhaberin schickes kleines Ambiente wir alls Familie waren sehr zufrieden die Inhaberin hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Das Buffet ist ausreichend zusammengestellt , Currywurst schmeckt einzigartig , insgesamt ein Besuch wert, wir kommen von NRW gerne wieder.. insgesamt ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ von uns 👍👍

Made with care. Mit Liebe gemacht. Currywurst is a must for those visiting Berlin and this place 2 minutes from the Main train station is true. Friendly service, good prices and real plates and forks. Plenty of outdoor seating covered in case it rains.

Also wow wirklich ich hab schon viel in meinem Leben gegessen aber diese Currywurst war wirklich eine Überraschung. Die Currywurst an sich war nicht wirklich die beste aber man könnte drüber wegsehen wenn es nicht so UNFASSBAR DRECKIG GEWESEN WÄRE!! Wirklich wow also unter dem Bahnhof das ist eine der schlechtesten Spots die man sich aussuchen kann um seinen Laden zu eröffnen!!

Mann kann vom Hauptbahnhof überall hinreißen mit den fehrnzugen und es gibt Rewe im neuen Lok alles nicht mehr so eng alles besser überschaubar

Schwierig zu finden, aber ein echter Geheimtipp außen am Hauptbahnhof und günstiger als drinnen.

Der Laden sieht von außen und von innen nicht sehr einladend aus, aber die guten Bewertungen auf Google Maps im Gegensatz zu den anderen Currywurstläden in der Nähe haben mich hierhin gelockt. Meine Currywurst mit Pommes war sehr lecker, vor allem die selbstgemachte Soße hat mir gefallen. Nur manche hygienische Mangel in dem Laden haben mich gestört. Die Gerätschaften der Küche sahen nicht wirklich modern oder gründlich geputzt aus, aber insgesamt war es eine gute Erfahrung.

Curry 36 is besser und Billiger....

Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ! Die Currywurstsoße ist sehr lecker genau wie der Kaffee. Die Currywurst mit Brötchen kostet nur 2,75 € und der kleine Kaffee 1 € ( April 2019 ). Es lohnt sich der kurze Weg aus dem Hbf, Ausgang Washingtonplatz, rechts um die Ecke unter den Gleisen an der Ella-Trebe-Straße / Agnes-von-Zahn-Harnack-Straße.

Preiswertes Getränke- und Speisenangebot

Currywurst aus der Friteuse, Pommes aus der Friteuse, scheinbar fertige Soßen. Das kann jeder. Geschmacklich war es in Ordnung, allerdings nicht besonders herausragend. Für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch sicherlich in Ordnung, mehr aber definitiv nicht.

The lady in charge charged us twice the price of the currywurst taking advantage of us not knowing german. We asked 2 currywusrt + pommes (price in the list was 2.5€ each, total 5€ , which we paid) and she only gave us one. When we asked for the other she said that it costed 5 €, and when i pointed out the price in the list behind her, she didn't even turn around to check. The currywurst itself was only decent, and the pommes were good, but were the kind that come frozen (not natural ones from fresh potatos). I'd recommend to go somewhere else to eat.

Als Berliner kennt man die richtig guten Currywurstbuden, der Wurststand am Hauptbahnhof kann da nicht mithalten. Die Currywurst ist ok und schmeckt wie in vielen anderen Großstädten. Das besondere Currywurst-Erlebnis wie bei Konopke, Curry 36 oder beim Currypiraten Frankfurter Allee fehlt hier komplett. Das Menü 5 mit den Bockwürsten (Wiener waren trotz der Werbung nicht zu bekommen) war eine Enttäuschung. Eine Bockwurst war wahrscheinlich zu lange im „Kessel“, die andere Bockwurst nur lauwarm. Plus: freundliche Bedienung und die Menüpreise sind für die Bahnhofsnähe angemessen. Ansonsten ist das Ambiente eher unterer Durchschnitt, auch die Außenanlage ist wirkt durch die Straßenunterführung düster. Die vielen Taxis in Wartestellung (bevor sie den richtigen Stand anfahren) lassen oftmals ihre Motoren laufen. Lautstärke und Luftqualität sind entsprechend auch ein Stimmungskiller.

Unscheinbar, superlecker. Der Stand liegt nicht im Hauptbahnhof, sondern unter dem Hauptbahnhof - Europaplatz raus und immer links am Bahnhof drumherum, so hab ich ihn gefunden

Wirklich gute Currywurst und Pommes! Eigentlich ein Geheimtipp, da von der Erscheinung sehr unscheinbar. Sehr nette Chefin! Bin regelmäßig und sehr gerne dort!

Bei meinen Berlin besuchen war ich schon öfter dort beim Currywurst essen. Dabei kann ich sagen, dass es da immer gleich gut schmeckt. Die Portion Currywurst mit Pommes macht wirklich satt! Bin gerne dort und werde bei meinen besuchen gerne vorbei schauen. ;)

Alles frisch gemacht, Essen gut, normale Preise, nur die Einrichtung ist etwas veraltet und man sitzt auf dem "Präsentierteller".

Für Berliner Verhältnisse gute und lecker abgeschmeckte Currywurst. Und das zentral am Hbf. und etwas unvermutet "versteckt" unter der Bahn-Brücke°! Die Currywurst kommt nicht mit labberigem Brötchen daher, sondern mit ganzer Schrippe, was lobenswert und für Berliner Imbisse eher selten ist. Gleich nebendran ist der Nachrückplatz der Taxifahrer, was wahrscheinlich 90% der Kundschaft ausmacht. Und erklärt, warum das Essen hier wirklich gut ist. Denn wer bei Taxifahrern schlechte Qualität anbietet, kann eigentlich gleich wieder schließen... Für alle, die wie ich hungrig in der Nähe des Hbf. mal schnell ne leckere Currywurst suchen sollten: Gar nicht in der Bahnhofshalle danach suchen, sondern einfach raus und einmal rechts um die Ecke.
