Watch out! Honey trap! Wow on the outside, yuck on the inside! Veterano Cola €9.80!!!! Not on the map. Incredible. Consumer advice center is alerted! No receipt received. It's a shame about this beautiful object. We are seriously shocked! Would have liked to go to this restaurant again.

Nice rest of the place. Food tasted excellent. The onion roast was on point. I had a plate with a piece of duck and goose. Everything was very, very tasty. You should make a table reservation.

Very good restaurant, which I can recommend. Very nice staff and a totally clocklike atmosphere. The food was absolutely TOP. We had a game plate "Hubertus" and a fillet plate of straw pork. HAMMER

Absolutely rustic inn with a cozy atmosphere. The service was very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious, but we were hoping for a little more for the relatively high price. The Wiener Schnitzel was OK, the portions could have been larger. The beers on tap should be highlighted, both the light and the dark ones were really good. One star deducted for the rather high prices without any real added value in terms of quality.

You definitely have to pre-order here. I also thought that it would be possible on my own and a little earlier. But far from it. The super friendly service prepared a small table especially for me in the corner and I was able to sit down. The decor is totally quaint. Simply wonderful. The menu was relatively clear but there was something for everyone. The prices are higher. For me personally, the portion size in the form of a schnitzel with fried potatoes was a bit too small. I then ordered a small mixed salad. But I was absolutely thrilled. A successful evening.

Nice traditional German restaurant with good German cuisine, helpful waiters complete the atmosphere.

We had the most expensive dish, a game dish with 3 different types of meat. Meat was dry, tough and with sinews. The red cabbage was over-cooked and the potato balls were so sticky that we left them alone. Not recommended!

Really cozy place with good food

A really quaint restaurant with unfortunately loud background noise because it was very full. The service was very positive, the employees were very attentive. It's nice that the meat comes from the region. In principle we enjoyed the food very much, but it was a bit carelessly presented on the plates. The rather expensive dishes could have used a larger quantity of at least the side dish and salad. What was disappointing was that when ordering the rump steak, the desired degree of doneness was not asked and it was served raw on the inside. Not an option for me: I asked for it to be fried so that it was almost done on the inside, but still a little pink on the inside. Unfortunately that didn't work, the meat came back fried to death. Overall positive, but we probably wouldn't come back.

I had a meal there today and ate a schnitzel with cream mushrooms and fried potatoes. It was really a dream. You could see straight away that everything was homemade and not from a can or deep fryer I can only recommend it

Quaint authentic restaurant in a cozy atmosphere

The restaurant was recommended to us, but by the previous owner. The meat comes from the environment. What should we say? The food was perfect. My husband had the onion roast and I had the Hubertus plate. Very very tasty. 10 points for the food. The service was a bit spotty at the beginning, we thought we were forgotten. The restaurant is a bit winding and narrow. But then it got noticeably better. The food made it up to me. You are willing to pay a little more for such quality.

Very nice atmosphere in the old town of Goslar. However, the quality of the food is below average. Example: Viennese schnitzel with fried potatoes: schnitzel approx. 4-5 mm thin, at least 2 pieces, which only look like real schnitzel thanks to the breading. Fried potato lukewarm and very fatty. Multilingual menu. Probably intended for tourists who only come once.

Interesting atmosphere, food and service good!

We were ashamed in front of our guests! Yes, the restaurant was full and things can go wrong, but the evening topped everything. The first round of drinks came quickly, food was eaten and then forgotten! So everything all over again, and at the same time I ordered a drink, which never arrived! We then tried twice more, but we didn't get anything. We had to ask for the bill 3 times and then there was a drink on it that never arrived! Food so-so, but expensive! Conclusion, never again!!

The reason for my visit was the good rating and the rum steak from Harzer Weidevieh cattle listed on the online menu. When we arrived at the restaurant, the prices were significantly increased, and Harz grazing cattle became Argentine beef. That's all well and good, but after 50 minutes of waiting for the food we had to place the order again because, according to the waiter, the person who gave the order was only there for a short time and probably didn't pass on the order. Strangely enough, 20 minutes later he brought us our food. The four drinks ordered when the food arrived never arrived, however one of the drinks that was not delivered was on the bill. As for the bill: after the first payment request we waited 30 minutes. At the second request at the counter we had to wait another 15 minutes until we finally got the bill at the third request. Unfortunately, no apology was given, nor were we treated with kindness or goodwill throughout our stay. Sure, everyone can have a bad day, but when the entire service staff is neither friendly nor apologetic for the long wait and instead comes up with an excuse that is quickly refuted, you can only be happy that you only gave one star can. I'd rather not start talking about the food. All in all it was a disappointing experience.

You can't sugarcoat anything here! Expensive prices, standard food (salad very poor, onion roast not medium rare, but rather raw) and the service: where should you start? Food, drinks and receipts were forgotten several times, staff were completely overwhelmed, unfriendly and unreasonable, no one apologized for the mistakes, etc. Even 1 star is still generous, but unfortunately Google won't allow anything less. Never again!

During a spontaneous shopping trip through the old town of Goslar we discovered the Worthmühle restaurant - an absolute stroke of luck! The rustic ambience is cozy and inviting. The food made from regional products was excellent and lovingly prepared. A real insider tip for everyone who wants to enjoy fresh, regional cuisine in an authentic atmosphere!

Quaint restaurant, run with love and packed, inside and out! That speaks for itself! We had dinner with 11 people. Everyone had a different dish. Everyone was happy! Nice service from motivated and very attentive employees. International guests, centrally located. RECOMMEND!

Yes, that was successful. A good table on the terrace, fast, unobtrusive service, a kind word and the food was also good. My brawn with fried potatoes was convincingly good, but the portion size was a bit small. I don't know why you don't do something more so that the customer is happy and will definitely come back. Overall, it was a success and okay for a restaurant in the city center.

WE in the beautiful city of Goslar, discovered Wortmühle on the 2nd evening. Price level above the beer house on the market (which is also very nice). Food was good, but the price calculation is not understandable. I ate cordon bleu for €24. There you have a piece of meat, some sauce and a generous tablespoon of fried potatoes. Nothing with a salad garnish or anything exciting to the eye, so ordered a small salad plate for €7. My companion took duck breast with red cabbage etc for €24, which included the same salad. Apparently the duck must come from husbandry class 1. For me this is incomprehensible. My disappointment was visible, especially since the salad only had 20% freshness.

Eating in a relaxed atmosphere. Home-style cooking, deliciously prepared. Friendly staff.

We got 2 wiener schnitzels. The potatoes were pan fried and good. The Wiener schnitzels were deep-fried and the breading fell off when you poked your fork into the tough meat. When we got the bill we were somewhat surprised by the towering prices of drinks. 7.80 euros for a bottle of water and 5.90 euros for a coke. Absurd! Not a place we will return to. Praise that children get children's cutlery.

We celebrated our wedding there with 24 people in the beautiful beer garden and it was perfect. Without exception, everyone enjoyed it, the staff were attentive, friendly and flexible and the atmosphere was very nice. I recommend the Worthmühle 100%

Very nice, rustic pub. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Goslar. The staff is quick and friendly. The beer tastes excellent. We didn't eat, but what we saw looked very appealing. I will gladly come again.

I don't understand the 4.3 average. The food has been great for years, always fresh and delicious. That evening the waitress was alone and the cook was alone in the kitchen. Nevertheless, everything went quickly. Thank you for the lovely evening!

This restaurant belongs to the absolutely recommended category. Large portion, delicious flavors, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The game plate is first class, the duck with orange pepper sauce is excellent. Be sure to reserve a table as there are a lot of people there every evening.

Interesting floor plan based on the old building. Friendly and fast service. What came out of the kitchen was very good. I can definitely recommend it, reservations are recommended.

Great restaurant and super nice service!

Nice, attentive service staff...and largely tolerable food...but that's about it. Waiting time for drinks 20 minutes, starter 60 minutes then another 30 minutes for main course...the steak we ordered should be medium...it was shoe sole...Ordered Harz cheese as a starter...then billed as the main course...and then discussed with us...yes, there was a lot going on ...staff overwhelmed...but that's not possible! And then there are items on the invoice that were not ordered... give the store a wide berth... ...and you can also see from the reaction (see below) that there is little insight. There can be bad days. Then in a restaurant like this (at least when it comes to the steep prices) you should expect that you will apologize and not ask for a new menu. Very bad style. But I don't have to go there anymore...

Very well attended restaurant in Goslar, unfortunately the quality of the food is overrated. The service is always trying but totally overwhelmed. The ambience stands out.

I can't understand the positive reviews. We waited 15 minutes until someone accepted the drinks. Then another 30 minutes until we got them. We then ordered food after another 15 minutes and waited an hour for the food. Now it comes: Ordered rump steak, got something else. The boss was very unreasonable and extremely negative. Plus the food is expensive. Not again !

We had extremely long waiting times until the conditions were observed and the order was taken. Unfortunately, things were always forgotten or brought incorrectly. Instead of a rump steak, other inferior meat was served and you had to pay the full price. We were told that it could take a little longer, but we didn't think we would have to wait 0.5 hours for drinks and 1.5 hours for food. The food was not at all justified by the high price! Unfortunately we won't be visiting this restaurant again!

Even after 8 years, I haven't forgotten that, despite the acceptance logo, I couldn't pay less than €10 with a credit card and was sent to the ATM - with my identity illegally withheld. There was no reference to the minimum amount. Wouldn't go there anymore.

After a nice walk through Goslar's old town, we stopped at the Worthmühle for dinner. The food was very, very good and plentiful. The spaetzle with the schnitzel was really good and almost like home. The schnitzel was super tender and the venison goulash was great. The service was also very nice and friendly. We would eat there again at any time. Absolutely recommended - many thanks to the Worthmühle team for a great dinner.

Coincidence led us (a family of 7 between the ages of 9 and 74) to dinner at Worthmühle last night. A small, cozy location not far from the market square, which, true to its name, was also a mill in the past. Accordingly, the amount of space is available, which is absolutely conducive to coziness. Both the food and the service left nothing to be desired. The family was thrilled, from the youngest to the oldest and that's saying something. Thank you very much again for the lovely evening. We hope that many more guests find their way to you. If we are near Goslar again, we will definitely come back to the Worthmühle.

Today we were guests at the Worthmühle in Goslar on a great excursion. Greeted by an absolutely friendly service employee, we were served drinks within 3 minutes. The menu is in German, Danish and English, as well as a few hand-selected dishes where you don't know which delicacy it should be. From baked potatoes with porcini mushrooms and salad, leg of venison with napkin dumplings to cordon bleu to Wienerschnitzel from Duco with porcini mushroom sauce, every dish was a poem and excellent! In addition, the great and attentive nature of the host family, the outstanding ambience in the small, winding and lovingly furnished mill, all a great experience! And for those who are interested in the prices: absolutely fair and justified! Anyone who thinks that a Duco pork schnitzel with porcini mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle costs €19.80, or a leg of venison with red cabbage, napkin dumplings in a perfect wine sauce costs €23.90 is expensive these days, should really only eat for free at Mom's. A harmonious concept, great location, mega host family, fair prices, top Lucullian enjoyment! Everything done right!

Super great, nice woman who hosts you, she gives you the feeling that you are at home and have been friends for ages. It is very cozy and has old-fashioned furnishings. The only negative thing is that the inn owner doesn't acknowledge what his employees do every day to ensure this People from all over the world always like to come back. (subtly selfish)

Overpriced dishes. Poor price-performance ratio. Overall it is very tight there. I wouldn't recommend it, especially since there are many other restaurants in Goslar that are much better.

An incredible taste experience, a 12 out of 10!

Very friendly, courteous staff without any operational blindness. Whenever guests were finished, the tables were immediately cleaned with cleaner and re-prepared. From the first second the staff paid attention to us and always asked and served us carefully. The meal 2x onion roast, 1x medium and 1x well done was perfect, thumbs up. And 2x Wiener Schnitzel which was also very good and a fairly large portion. First, a delicious, spicy pancake soup! For dessert, Italian vanilla ice cream with cream, 2x red fruit jelly with cream and warm apple strudel, vanilla ice cream and cream. Everything was very tasty and visually nicely presented. The in-house Mühlenbier is highly recommended. We felt very comfortable and were completely satisfied. We'd love to come back. Top!

Super great atmosphere with prices that are a bit too high.

Atmosphäre ist sehr gut und urig. Das Essen leider qualitativ nur Durchschnitt und dafür überteuert. Birne mit Preiselbeeren bei der Gans KALT. Kirschgrütze beim Vanilleeis KALT. Es steht zwar nichts von warm in der Karte, aber so erwartet/kennt man es. Klöße, Soße und Rotkohl auch nur aufgewärmte Fertigware.

Essen dauerte sehr lange, kam nicht zusammen mit unserer Gruppe (jeder bekam einzeln) war nicht überzeugend und Service & Essen entsprachen nicht unseren Vorstellungen! Ja, Vorweihnachtszeit - aber darauf sollte man 200m von Weihnachtsmarkt gefasst sein!

Mit einem erstaunten Blick taucht man erst einmal beim Betreten des Restaurants in ein sehr individuelles und geschmackvolles Ambiente ein. Ein aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service wie aus alten Zeiten, ein Essen von bestechender Qualität, rechtfertigen jeden Cent, den wir gerne mir einem Lächeln bezahlt haben. Ein Wiedersehen für uns schon jetzt eine klare Sache. Sabine und Rüdiger vom Steirer-Hof am Edersee 😀

Das Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Portion war aber zu klein für den Preis. Service war zwischendurch leider etwas ruppig. Nur weil ich nach dem Essen einen Latte macchiato bestelle, muss man mich nicht darauf hinweisen, dass ich nicht in einem Café sitze, sondern in einem Restaurant. Ein Hinweis, dass es nur Cappuccino oder Espresso gibt, hätte auch genügt.

Speisen durchschnittlich. Bratkartoffeln geschmacklos, teils noch hart, teils dunkel. Insgesamt knappe Portionen. Dafür sehr hochpreisig. Sehr freundliche Bedienung durch 3 verschiedene Herren. Zum Bezahlen kam dann eine Frau, vielleicht die Chefin, die hektisch nur die Kohle wollte. Sie wirkte insgesamt nicht freundlich. So schnell nicht wieder...Habe dann zu Hause noch etwas gegessen...

Essen war sehr gut👍, hat aber seinen Preis. Zu zweit haben wir fast 140€ ausgegeben.

Das Essen war überraschend gut! Qualität und Menge toll. Die Rücksichtnahme auf die dänischen Gäste (Speisekarte in Deutsch und Dänisch) ist süß und das Gebäude hat Potenzial. Aber die Deko, das Besteck im Glas und die Aufmachung der Karte haben mich nicht so angesprochen, schade.
