Closed - had made a reservation by phone some time ago and were faced with locked doors - absolutely no go... And yes, you can now see that the restaurant has been closed for a long time, but it was of no use to us in the situation.

Permanently closed!! they should update their homepage about that.

Very attractive restaurant with very well prepared food in a feel-good environment.

Yesterday I had dinner (a la cart) at Woodfire as part of a company outing. And also here for the first time. The ambience is very authentic and looks great. The food was very tasty, the portions were normal and the prices were at the upper end of what private individuals would be willing to pay. I still have to deduct one star because our waitress was really very tense. Although polite and friendly, it seemed very fake. You shouldn't pass on the tense personnel situation to your guests. But it was a very nice evening because the food tasted really good.

Where do 5 stars come from here?

Food fart dry. Fries weren't fresh, they were as if they had been fried a few hours ago and then just warmed up in the microwave later. The burgers are just a disappointment. American food is very tasty. This food has nothing to do with American food. Unfortunately, this is not a restaurant I would like to go to again. Very, very unfortunate. Unfortunately I don't understand the many good reviews.

Cozy restaurant in the atmosphere of the old West. It's like you're eating in a saloon. Nice steaks and spareribs. The only disadvantage is that you cannot pay with a Dutch debit or credit card. So we had to pay in cash.

Yesterday we ate there again for the first time since the change of ownership. In itself it's good, but I thought it tasted better and was nicer than what the old/previous owner had on it... I personally find the buns for the burgers very dry and give you the feeling of being at BK or MC... My personal opinion is that the homemade rolls were better. Because they looked nicer visually and were juicier to me personally! Burger meat was also juicier in taste and a little spicier before... (No criticism of the kitchen! The guys in the kitchen are top notch! And always in a good mood! Unfortunately, they just have to stick to what the new owner asks of them. ) Staff is friendly, not an issue... but I thought the waiters were better before! (T + A// names are not mentioned in full now, those who know who I mean understand what I mean😉) Otherwise everything was great, I hope the ambience stays that way, because that's what's so inviting about the Woodfire. 😊 It shouldn't be an extreme criticism! It's just my opinion, everyone has their own taste of course! And it still tastes good, but I thought it was better before. Of course we’ll still come back!

We've been coming here for a really long time and have been there a few times with the whole family. The food was always great and you could always be satisfied with the service. Today we were there again as a family and ate the Chicken Run, which is available on Wednesdays. We politely told the waitress that we would like to have something again. Then we were told that the kitchen was too slow and he left again. After 20 minutes we asked if we could actually order something else because our drinks were empty, but he got so mushy and yelled at us in front of everyone. When we still remained calm while paying, he went over the top again and even gave us back his tip because he didn't want to accept it. Thanks for the lousy evening, we won't be coming back in the future and it certainly wasn't because of the food. I don't understand why they accept so much when they don't have enough staff

Cool restaurant with good food, especially the fried chicken! Unfortunately, I was only able to try this with my wife because I was served the wrong dish, but it tasted good. Because of that and because the service was generally a bit slow, “only” 3 stars for the service. Prices are very reasonable! Will come again and can recommend the restaurant :)

Service quick, friendly, overwhelmed. Very crowded, especially on weekends, I'm always amazed at how eager people are for special restaurants and ignore the fact that the food isn't exactly the best 😄. Personally, I don't particularly like the American food style😄

Rustic western ambience without appearing kitschy. The staff was super nice and really quick. Food was good. Price/performance ratio fits. Opposite the train station parking lot. So there is no big problem with parking. Was pleasant.

Nice western atmosphere, we sat on the terrace and tried the chicken all you can eat offer. Dad price performance ratio is ok, The different chicken pieces are tasty and good quality. There were 3 different types, crispy, spicy and BBQ. So there is something for every taste. My favorite are the spicy ones. The side dishes are fries and coleslaw, both of which are also good. The drinks menu also offers a good and extensive selection; in addition to the classics, there are also homemade lemonades. Because the waiters come to the tables with plates and it's not a classic buffet, we had to wait again and again. Unfortunately that wasn't so great. The fact that we had to point out empty glasses and full bone plates to the waiter is also something that could be improved. All means of payment are accepted, which is another plus point. There is also a free parking space across the street. Thumbs up here too Overall, the Woodfire Western Saloon is definitely worth a visit.

Very fine food and the atmosphere is great! Unfortunately, long waiting times. The drinks 20 minutes. The food after 60 minutes. Although the service workers are always jumping. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

Delicious food and nice ambience.

The reception was nice, the staff was average. The food, especially the hamburgers, is delicious and plentiful. The reason I gave less stars is the restaurant's own parking lot! Be careful when you drive in, because right at the entrance there is a hole so big, and several others, that it's a miracle that the car stayed together! It's hard to notice when you drive in, you just feel it if you don't know it's there! Either mark it or do it! The women's toilet is full of cobwebs!

Mega cool location to eat, just drove there and easily got a table on the terrace. Cool, nice staff who fulfill the customers' wishes whenever possible. A great experience and would love to do it again

Food great Our waitress was extremely unfriendly and very drunk. The first impression is that the restaurant ist well-decorated in american style (cowboys, bullhead, ect.) big and nice. However, the spareribs were not as impressive as we expected. They didn't taste strongly smoked from coal... We did expected thick fat juicy coal smoked spareribs. That's why I gave 3 star. As same as fried chicken, they were also dried.

Food and ambience very good. But the unfriendly service I've ever experienced. Immediately annoyed with small extra requests. You had to be afraid to order more drinks or something similar because the service staff always looked evil. Hospitality is very important here.

Quirky Old West themed diner. Pretty much burgers and spare ribs. Food wise, it was OK, The portions are supersized. The service was best. Very outgoing and emgaging staff made the experience worthwhile. I figure it is worth a stop if you're looking for a hangout with your buds or want to take the kids for something with a fun experience.

The restaurant has barrier-free access for wheelchair users plus a very clean wheelchair toilet, very friendly staff and very good food.

Were here to eat, I've eaten here before but it's been a while. Menu too huge for me. I ordered chicken, it was covered in huge breading, it was okay but not great. My husband had the same thing with another dish. Chicken strips in a lot of breading meat 🍖 no longer recognizable. I was particularly looking forward to dessert. I remembered it being super tasty. Grandma's apple pie with walnuts. Unfortunately, that no longer existed. Without walnuts and very moist cake with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. For the starter, the dish with 5 onion rings was too expensive at 5 euros. Worth mentioning is the super nice cowboy in service. Conclusion: a very nicely decorated restaurant, rustic and typical. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food because I remembered it being particularly tasty. Very busy, reserve well in advance.

Service and ambience are great. Unfortunately not with my burger. The roll, the bacon and the sauce were really good. Unfortunately the pattie was very dry. Fries and coleslaw were again very tasty.

Ate dinner here while travelling for work and was not disappointed. As an American in Europe, it was a fun positive surprise to have some American style food in the middle of a small town in Germany. I recommend the fried chicken, it’s so good it’ll make you want to slap your momma. And the peanut butter vanilla milkshake was great. Will have to eat here again.

Was invited to dinner. Surprised from the start. Service very warm and competent. Everyone knows exactly what he/she is doing. Great selection of food and drinks is outstanding. You can feel the Western style every second. Price performance ratio is very good. Lovely again. 100% recommendable.

It's unbelievable how unfriendly the obese waitress is. Sometimes you are served loudly and killed with looks. Incredible. If you're reading this, this kind of behavior is ungodly. Just because you're not having a good day doesn't mean you have to treat your guests like maggots. Bottomless. Never something like that again.

zuerste möchte ich erwähnen, dass ich dem restaurant gerne 4 punkte geben hätte, doch dafür hat mich dann doch einiges gestört. bei der ankunft musste ich mit meinem frisch gewaschenem auto über einen halb zerstörten schmutzigen parkplatz mit riesen schlaglöschern fahren. das macht keinen besonders guten ersten eindruck. der empfang und das personal waren sehr nett. das essen solala. die wings waren etwas komisch und nicht ganz durch. rest war ok aber sehr frech fand die preiskalkulation der ZWIEBELRINGE! bei so einer kleinigkeit kommt man sich am ende wirklich veräppelt vor und das sorgt für unmut. ein kilo TK zwiebelringe kosten 8 € im einkauf. im restaurant bekommt man für knapp 5 € genau 7 mini ringe auf einen kleinen teller großzügig verteilt. dieses thema hat man hier schon öfter gelesen und ihr solltet da vielleicht reagieren. auf alten bildern waren es noch 8 ringe und vielleicht auch etwas größer, also wurde die portion noch verkleinert? Mein Fazit: entweder den preise senken oder die portion vergrößern. so schwierig ist das nicht und daruch spart man sich einige schlechte berwertungen. empfehlen kann ich den combo teller mit spareribs und hähnchenteile. leider auch da relativ unflexibel was änderungswünsche angeht. daher leider nur 3 punkte.

But if you take it seriously, the control was rather embarrassing and Luca had no idea. Masks at half-mast and the layout of the tables could also be better. Doesn't matter. Daily specials like chicken run or spare ribs are nice to have. Price/performance is ok. Toilets are clean and western style. There are enough parking spaces available. In the evening it is advisable to make a reservation. Always my pleasure.

We were there on Sunday afternoon without a reservation and everything went well! The food was delicious, crispy, I'm a chicken fan and I was very satisfied. The portion was large, price ratio was good. I think there's all you can eat chicken on Wednesday evenings for €19, but the normal portion is enough for me 😜 We'll be back!

If you have 30 euros to throw away, this is the right place. Terrible service starting from the owner and ending with the waiters, the only little girl there is saved. If you want to breathe and savor glass while you eat, you will be satisfied. Every table is cleaned with this glass and you can't imagine the smell that remains both on the wooden tables and in the air. Good experience? Not even!

We visited my partner in rehab and had lunch there today. We had two large dogs with us and reserved a table with dogs. This was probably lost when we made the reservation, but that didn't make it clear that there was a problem at all. Things like that happen, we're all just human. We were kindly assigned a table where we didn't bother and no one bothered us. Two bowls of water were immediately brought for the dogs, which I thought was great and thoughtful. The food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. If we ever happen to be in the area again, we'd be happy to do so.

The restaurant was very busy early in the evening during the week; We were lucky and got a table even without a reservation. We were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our orders. Our food seemed freshly prepared, was hot and we enjoyed it. The menu is very extensive, there are also a few vegetarian dishes. The waiter in charge of our table was nice and funny; The waiter who brought our food to the table couldn't get a word out of his mouth and kept us waiting for our bill. The restaurant is geared towards a lot of visitors, we sat right in the middle, but at times it was quite loud and busy.

We were at the Western Saloon on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 and we were very excited. Food is great, burgers and fried chicken. We particularly liked the coleslaw. Definitely a recommendation

This evening my friends and I went out to dinner. A little tip on the side: Without making a reservation, it's really difficult to get a table. But we were lucky! The waiter who served us was super nice and really had a great sense of humor. About the food: It was simply delicious, especially the meat - so juicy and the grill aroma was unmistakable. At the end there was an apple cake with vanilla ice cream and cream, which was also incredibly tasty. So if you're ever in the area, definitely stop by and try it for yourself!
