First-class service with delicious food. Good value for money for the quality.

The mill is beautifully situated by a small pond, and the interior ambiance is rustic and cozy. The service ranges from polite – a younger man – to friendly AND polite – a young woman. The wait for drinks is short. We weren't particularly hungry, so the menu suited us. I quote, "The perfect start," again divided into "appetizers" and "tapas" portions. Unfortunately, the mill is light years away from being a perfect start. We ordered "small meatballs, sweet chili sauce," probably from a liter bottle from the supermarket, and "fried mushrooms" with a dip. The dip was a mayo with far too much truffle oil, awful. The term "tapas" made us excited for what was to come. Unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. The fried mushrooms were dripping in an oil mixture and were also too salty, but after I complained, they were quickly replaced; in terms of taste, they were at the bottom of any scale. The rest of the menu was in poor condition, see above. The highlight, however, were the "little meatballs," sweet and sour in supermarket chili sauce. 5 pieces, about 3 cm in diameter. Fairly neutrally seasoned; others would say tasteless and chewy☹. The price for this marvel of modern cuisine is outrageous and, at €16.50, vastly overpriced. You could bring birds down from the sky with a catapult, but who wants that? Any chef in Spain who served such "tapas" would be out of a job the next day and would have to find another profession. In Spain, the "albondigas," or the aforementioned meatballs, are served in a well-seasoned, flavorful tomato sauce in a shallow bowl (not a compote bowl), from which you then wipe out every last drop of sauce with bread. Not here. Of course, that only applies to this visit; we've had better food here in the past, probably a different chef, sadly; a return visit is out of the question!

We visited here today for our wedding anniversary. I 100% recommend this restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic. The goat cheese was amazing, and I won't even get started on the Kaiserschmarrn. Such delicious food! It's definitely worth the price. Jan is an extremely accommodating and friendly host. We'll definitely be coming here every year for our wedding anniversary! Thank you!

A beautiful, upscale, modernized country inn with a direct lake view and a small but varied menu. Extremely friendly, personable service. Afterwards, you can enjoy a wonderful 15-minute hike around the mill pond. We'll definitely be back.

Magical and delicious, fried potatoes like you rarely find in restaurants these days: slow-roasted and crispy. The venison saddle was buttery soft with a subtle gamey flavor. The dessert plate was a dream. The service was very attentive, friendly, and personable—simply recommended! 👍

Since we moved to Hamburg, the mill in Wohldorf has been one of our favorite places. From the covered terrace, you can truly relax and enjoy the idyllic, green setting, even when it's raining. It's always cozy inside, too. The food is simply delicious – all the ingredients and sauces are always perfectly combined. Also worth mentioning is the consistently warm and friendly service. It's simply a place where you feel at home and always a lovely destination.

Ate there late at lunchtime, fish cakes and fried potatoes. Very tasty and very relaxed atmosphere.

We were a bit annoyed because we wanted to eat there at 4 p.m. and the waiter told us that he had a break and wouldn't open until 5:30 p.m. Maybe you should update the opening times on the website. We then went to a great restaurant next door. At least we were wanted there.

We come here regularly and enjoy it because, in addition to the great surroundings, the food is always delicious, the service is very polite and unobtrusive and the nice, quiet atmosphere with children and dogs is always very pleasant!

Met de hele familie een fantastische lunch gehad. Ruim voldoende en kwalitatief erg goed. Er was een keuzemenu voor het hoofdgerecht, ik ben voor de eend gegaan.

We were there at lunchtime. Very pretty and stylishly furnished. Very nice service. The food was very tasty and good! Unfortunately, it's a bit deceptive that you have to order the side dishes separately for the dishes and pay them dearly. But not for all dishes either. A better description would be nice.

We were invited to a wedding that was celebrated in the mill. We felt very comfortable there and had very tasty food and experienced really friendly and attentive service staff. Unfortunately, my son couldn't be convinced by the food at the buffet and so he was served fries without further ado. “The best fries I have ever eaten. If I feel like fries again, I'll come back here."

Recently spent a great 88th birthday (not mine) there and it was an absolute well-rounded celebration. Thanks to the great team!

How about a nice evening for two at the lake? Then you’ve come to the right place in Wohldorf! It's not just the ambience and the outdoor terrace that are of the finest quality, the food shines even more with its many flavor nuances and a play from the kitchen using the finest ingredients that pleasantly surprise the palate. The service surprised us with pleasant friendliness and was available to us at a moment's notice. Our dog was also very welcome and water was included for him. If you want to stretch your legs afterwards, you can do so in the nearby forest or take a short walk by the lake! Fabulous! It's definitely worth spending an evening at the mill in Wohldorf!

We were there for the first time and loved it. The service was very friendly, the food was really well done. Both the starter and the main course were excellent. We won't be there for the last time.

My old home, I lived there as a child. The old mill was already there back then, although not yet as sophisticated. I was there a few weeks ago and haven't had the courage to try an asparagus dish for years. It was great! Never had such great asparagus before. Great nice staff. You can sit comfortably on the terrace, even in the rain. Looking at the pond brings back memories of childhood.

Beautiful place but unfortunately very little vegetarian. Everything else was great!

The Wiener Schnitzel was so delicate and thin that it unfortunately turned out a little too dry in the pan. But my companions were all very satisfied with their dishes and the menu is very diverse. The wine selection is good, but the prices overall are very high.

Warme Speisen, regional & saisonal, kaltes Bier. Freundliche Bedienung & nettes Ambiente (hatten einen Tisch im Schankraum). Was will man mehr? Die Inflation hat natürlich keinen Bogen um die Mühle gemacht, die Preise sind für Qualität & Service angemessen. Empfehlenswert zur Einkehr nach einem Marsch durch den Duvenstedter Brook.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Hochzeitsfeier. Das Essen war wunderbar - das haben alle Gäste einstimmig bestätigt. Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt, die Kinder extra verwöhnt und bekocht. Unsere Servicekraft am Tisch war klasse - sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam. Schöner hätte es wirklich nicht sein können. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team. 🙏

La verdad amo los lugares así... Es el típico restaurante del pueblo pero en un área linda, frente a un lago, con ese aroma a familia hasta romántico pues es todo de madera con muchos árboles en los alrededores... El lugar, la gente que trabajo ahí y la comida me gustaron. En el Menú tenían una hoja donde indican que productos son peligrosos para las personas que tienen alergias y señalan ahí mismo cuáles son los platillos que contienen esos productos, genial!!!

Das Restaurant liegt ruhig gelegen mitten im Grünen am namensgeben Mühlenteich in Wohldorf. Das Restaurant bietet Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen. Sowohl die Innenräume als auch die große Terasse sind einladend gestaltet. Das Essen war hervorragend und vorallem reichhaltig. Abgerundet wird der Aufenthalt von einem sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Service. Unterm Strich war unser Besuch ein voller Erfolg und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Zu einigen Hauptgerichten gibt es kein Gemüse/ Salat. Muss extra bestellt werden. Ansonsten bleibt das Essen Durchschnitt. Dafür sind die Preise sehr über dem Durchnitt. Leider sehr nachgelassen.

Schönes altes Haus mit urigem Ambiente. Bedienung sehr nett und auf das Essen muss man nicht lange warten. Portionen und Preise sind 👌 🆗️. Man kann schöne kleine und große Wanderungen machen.

Tolle Lage am See, schöne überdachte Terrasse und stilvolles und gemütliches Ambiente im Restaurant. Die Speisekarte bietet von allem das Beste, absolut empfehlenswert. Freundlicher Service und nette Gastgeber.

Nach knapp 2 Jahren wieder vor Ort. Es war ein wunderschöner Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen (Grünkohl), top Service und schönem, weihnachtlichem Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Tolle Lage, nettes Ambiente. Die Karte ist gegenüber früher etwas reduziert, aber gut zusammengestellt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen reichhaltig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und alles kam schnell und heiß auf den Tisch. Es wurde sich gut um uns gekümmert. Ein netter Abend, wir werden gerne wiederkommen.
