We were at this lovely traditional inn for the second time with 18 people for a goose dinner. In 2024: the food was very good, the side dishes were promptly replenished without us even asking, and the service was excellent. What we were served last night was, to put it mildly, outrageous. The wedding soup was watery clear, the garnishes had been left in the kitchen. The goose leg was practically vegan, almost meatless. The dumplings looked like golf balls. The soup and goose dinner cost approximately €37.50. We will not be coming back. It's a shame to see such a change within a year!

A bit dated, but the food is delicious.

We had dinner at Wittenbrinks Hof. We ordered onion soup, which consisted of extremely large pieces of onion, some of which were rather hard. We've had better soups. But as I said, that's just our taste! For our main courses, we had the schnitzel "Gärtnerin Art" (Gardener's Style) and the turkey schnitzel with curry sauce and fruit. The turkey schnitzel and sauce were good. However, I didn't enjoy the schnitzel dish as much. The vegetables were bland and tasteless to me. And the hollandaise sauce was too strong. But as I said, that's just our taste. Everyone should decide for themselves. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated.

Unfortunately, there was a limited menu because it was a holiday. This wasn't mentioned beforehand; in fact, copies of the regular menu were provided with the reservation so we could choose in advance. Since the limited menu only included overpriced dishes and nothing from the regular menu, everyone was very disappointed. The very bland soup arrived rather unceremoniously, with more soup on the saucer than in the cup. The sauce for my schnitzel was a strange gray color and tasted only of raw bell pepper. The peculiar chocolate pudding also arrived with equal gusto. The drinks weren't much better. My conclusion: I won't be returning anytime soon.

Let's put it this way... A super nice restaurant. The staff was nice. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as amazing as I thought. The price-performance ratio is in line with the ambiance. I don't know if I'd go there again. But that's my personal opinion. Since there were almost no tables available the day we were there, I'm blaming it on that. But it must always be packed, and that's why I'm saying... Go there, form your own opinion, and judge for yourself.

I had a wonderful birthday celebration there. The service, attentiveness, and delicious food left no room for criticism. Everything was perfectly coordinated. Many guests took advantage of the beautifully landscaped garden with its view of nature to stretch their legs.

For my birthday, I invited two couples to the breakfast buffet. The selection was actually okay, but unfortunately, the emphasis is on "was"! Most of the delicious items weren't replenished, and you could only look enviously at what had initially been on the buffet table on the other guests' plates. The selection for cheese lovers was generally very meager: just two types of sliced ​​cheese in very thin slices. I would have liked some trout, scrambled eggs, or minced pork, but unfortunately, it was all gone. Instead, I overheard one waitress saying to another, "They should come earlier; then everything will still be there!" It's a shame, because the quality seemed fine, but you have to have the opportunity to try it. Standing in front of empty platters is simply unacceptable!

The food is "pre-packaged," very greasy, and uninspired. Your clothes smell like a deep fryer after visiting. The service is okay, but nothing special. Not recommended.

I've been there several times over the past 20 years. It was always a nice place to eat. Unfortunately, as in so many restaurants, there's a negative trend here too. I was a bit disappointed last time. The ready-made sauces, ready-made vegetables, and the vegetarian/vegan dishes are limited and run-of-the-mill. Some of the food somehow seemed like it came from a better fast-food restaurant (the fish was supposedly very good, and everyone was full). No, the food was served cold, and the salmon was partly raw. The service was apparently unprofessional. Dessert couldn't be ordered because there was no pineapple. The sauce for the schnitzel a la Pussta Art was a conjured-up sauce, made almost entirely of corn kernels (I'm a trained chef myself). Our other two guests shared this review.

We ate lunch there today. We had checked online and found out that Wittebrinks Hof is open continuously from 12 pm. We entered the restaurant at 1:40 pm and were greeted with, "Please choose quickly, the kitchen is about to go on its lunch break." Not a very pleasant welcome. After we quickly placed our order, someone called out from the kitchen: "We're only taking orders until 1:45 pm." We did eventually receive what we had ordered. I had the lunch special, redfish fillet with boiled potatoes, even though I had ordered fried potatoes, and the dessert wasn't served at all. Otherwise, the food was okay.

Too bad, the fact that they're on vacation (renovation) isn't communicated. Today we found the door locked, even though we checked the website yesterday. Not so good communication, hence only 2 stars.

Sat with 12 people in the conservatory (actually lovely) for a birthday party. It was very warm due to the sun, and the heating was on. The lunch menu was a list of 5 dishes (unfortunately, there was no information when booking that you couldn't choose from the menu, although it's online, but it's still there). Almost all of the guests ended up eating schnitzel and fries. And that wasn't good either. The service was very nice, but still very disappointed. The 60th birthday party was a complete disaster. Delicious food. Good portions. Due to the very full restaurant, we were given a table in the middle of the room. A big birthday was celebrated next door. Conversations at my table were quite difficult because of the high noise level. Still, I would come back.

It was our first time there, so we haven't been able to try much of the menu yet. The mushroom cream schnitzel was OK, but for the price (16€) I would have expected something better, it was at best chip shop level. The atmosphere outside is very nice, 2 playgrounds for children are right next door. The large trampoline needs to be repaired because it is torn all around on the sides (springs are bare), the slide has a small tip on the sliding surface so that it hurts my bottom. You could smooth this out again with a hammer. So a little would have to be invested in the playgrounds, then it would be optimal again. The service was bomb!! Very friendly, uncomplicated and even special requests were fulfilled without any problems, it couldn't be better!!! My children (4 years and 7 years) thought it was great there and didn't want to go home. Overall we felt comfortable and would come again.

Ambience is nice, service is also okay. However, a lot of convinience is used (e.g. potato pockets, vegetable schnitzel and hollondaise). Unfortunately, some dishes also contained bacon that was not declared on the menu, which was of course problematic for vegetarians at the table.

The food was good, the service was friendly too! But a problem that all catering establishments now have is the staff! You could just come by the table more regularly and see if anyone else would like drinks or something. So much sales are left behind and yet it spoils a visit. Lamps were placed on the tables at dusk, but not for us! It's a shame, there won't be a repeat for us!

We've eaten here several times and there used to be a very tasty starter salad, and during asparagus season, there was also an asparagus menu for vegetarians. This time it was a failure for us. After a telephone inquiry, asparagus is offered. When we got there There was no asparagus dish for vegetarians. A waitress offered to serve one of the vegetarian dishes with asparagus. The food that came was very disappointing. There were 4 stalks of thin asparagus with maybe 1 teaspoon of sauce, the salad was totally sour, and the additional small salad was no longer anything special, the delicious salad dressing was no longer available. The waiter was friendly but couldn't handle my objections and tried to use the excuse that they were stressed today and maybe it would be better next time. Then the 4 sticks also cost 7 euros, outrageous. But for us there will be no next time.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag zum Mittagessen in diesem, bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllten, sehr großem Lokal. Es gab eine Menükarte mit Fleischgerichten, einem Fischgericht und Tortellini mit Spinatfüllung für Vegetarier. Bei den Preisen hofften wir vergeblich auf ein sehr gutes Essen im gehobenen gastronomischen Ambiente. Wir wurden leider enttäuscht. Die Vegetarier Variante schlug aber dem Fass den Boden aus. Das war schon vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis eine Frechheit. Für Fleisch Genießer ist es zu anderen Tageszeiten vielleicht zu empfehlen.

Ein so unglaublich schlechten Service habe ich schon sehr lange nicht mehr erlebt! Teller wurde dreckig serviert. Auf 1/3 der Teller "Gruß aus der Küche" fehlte der Löffel. Auf Nachfrage wurde dann ein Löffel nachgereicht. Als genügend Löffel vorhanden waren, war die Suppe dann kalt.... Wäre es nicht eine Geburtstagsfeier gewesen hätte ich mich direkt sehr deutlich Beschwert! Essen geschmacklich Ok SCHADE

Wir waren am 3. Adventssonntag mittags dort und hatten den Eindruck, dass die Küche und der Service dem Ansturm nicht gewachsen waren. Wir haben mehr als 20 Minuten gewartet, bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Es gab eine Tageskarte, deren Preise mehr als deutlich über denen der normalen Karte lagen. Suppe und Nachtisch waren kein 'Geschenk' des Hauses ;-) 4Minuten bevor wir das Haus ohne zu essen verlassen wollten wurde uns dieses nach 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit serviert. Es war leider lauwarm, aber wir hatten einfach keine Lust mehr auf eine Diskussion und haben es verzehrt. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass man einfach nicht genug Personal für diesen Ansturm hatte. Schade, es war unser erster Besuch und wir glauben nicht, dass wir es noch einmal ausprobieren werden.

Das Essen war wirklich gut und auf den Punkt gegart. Personal war freundlich auch wenn sie manchmal etwas überfordert waren. Schönes und sauberes Lokal wenn man den Stil mag. Vor allem die Toiletten waren modernisiert und sehr sauber.

Das Ambiente und der Service waren gigantisch. Das Essen leider nur bedingt. Ich hatte den Ratsherrenplatte. Das Fleisch war eine glatte 10/10. Die Kroketten okay, aber das Gemüse war leider nichts. Neben dem Gemüse wurden auch einige überbackene Gemüsekreationen gereicht. Diese waren definitiv Geschmackssache und wurden leider nicht alternativ auf der Karte ausgewiesen, oder ich habe es überlesen. Ein Tipp: Nicht unbedingt eine Zitronenscheibe direkt auf das Filet legen. Das würde ich gern als Gast entscheiden, ob dieser Geschmack für mich in Frage kommt. Ich lasse es jedoch gern auf einen zweiten Versuch ankommen. Wie gehabt, dass Fleisch war exzellent.

Das Essen, aus Sicht eines vegan lebenden Menschen, ist nicht o.k. Anderes kann ich nicht beurteilen. Die Räume sind nett, das Servicepersonal freundlich. Ich selbst war dort, wegen einer Veranstaltung. Würde allein nicht dort hin gehen.

Super schönen Abend gehabt mit sehr leckeren Essen. Auf jeden Fall noch mal.

Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, die Speisen frisch zubereitet, der Zander war auf den Punkt gebraten, der gegarte Spinat dazu mit Zwiebeln, würzig und selbstgemacht, die Pommes knusprig, die Nachspeisen sind retro, Eis mit heißen Kirschen oder Dame Blanche mit frischer Sahne, sehr lecker. Eine gemütliche Gaststätte im ländlichen Stil mit sehr guter Hausmannskost. Auch verschiedene vegetarische Gerichte werden angeboten.
