All the main courses are fantastic! The Kaiserschmarrn on Friday was absolutely superb. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming in an authentic atmosphere. I'll definitely be back, whether I'm hungry or thirsty. The Forstinger beer is a perfect match, too.

A solid restaurant with good Bavarian dishes. Due to the nearby lake, there's a lot of foot traffic, so you need luck to get a table around lunchtime. Fair prices and fast, friendly service. Would gladly return!

A business dinner. I had called ahead and reserved a table. We had a delicious meal. The Wiener Schnitzel usually comes with warm potato salad, but I asked for fried potatoes. Unfortunately, these came with caraway seeds and came with a small surcharge. The dessert was also delicious; the cake was still slightly warm. Yes, this restaurant is definitely worth recommending.

Friendliness is non-existent, expect a long wait when ordering food, price-performance ratio is not right at all, cheese spaetzle is substandard, the cucumber slices are ridiculous

We had to wait 45 minutes for the waitress to take our order. There were four servers working, and we had asked several times beforehand. It wasn't particularly busy. Despite the warm weather, we weren't given water for the dog when we asked for it. We were directed to an empty bowl "for all dogs" at the entrance to the restaurant. The drinks arrived after an hour; the food after 1.5 hours – the food was OK, but there were a lot of wasps. We won't be back.

The location is simply gorgeous: Located directly on Lake Egglburg, "Zur Gass" offers an idyllic setting, which is particularly appreciated in the wonderful beer garden. The excellent cuisine, with its constantly changing daily menu (including game), is simply fantastic. You can taste the chef's passion for cooking and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Special praise goes to the excellent owners, who put their heart and soul into making the inn what it is. The service is also very good and humorous, which makes the visit even more pleasant. The good value for money rounds off the positive overall impression. I always enjoy coming back! For me, "Zur Gass" is the top address in Ebersberg for excellent cuisine, a wonderful atmosphere, and enthusiastic service.

Wiener Schnitzel. It was just frozen, industrial schnitzel. It's just incredibly disappointing that a Bavarian restaurant can't even manage to make schnitzel fresh anymore. For that price, you can still get honest food elsewhere.

Die Gass is a truly authentic Bavarian inn with a typical atmosphere. Great!!! A very varied menu, including seasonal specialties such as game week. Vegetarians are also catered for. Everything was very attractively and deliciously served. Today we had the full menu: cream of asparagus soup, pork roast (🙏🏻) with two kinds of dumplings and cabbage, and strawberry tiramisu for dessert...😋! Espresso and, not because the portions were too small, but simply because it was so nice, fries with mayo in between. Extra stars for the very attentive and wonderful waitress. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

We regularly visit the Wirtshaus zur Gass with our handicraft café. The waitresses and the boss are super nice and attentive. It's great that they all have a heart for knitters and that we have found a home for our handicraft café there. Anyone who would like to do handicrafts in company is welcome to join us on the first Wednesday of each month.

So I've been to the Gass twice now, and I have to say that a friend and I went there in a great mood and left in a bad mood, the reasons for this were... that at first we were looked at strangely because of the conditions and then when we ordered something to drink they just rolled their eyes and made stupid comments, so if you want guests who also give tips then you shouldn't be so arrogant and conceited and impudent... that's not possible!!!!! Never again. One star is even too many!!!!!!!

Yesterday (December 3, 2924) I had dinner with friends in “der Gass”. 2 x pizza (excellent...better than many Italians) and I had a "simple currywurst"...it was PERFECT...the sausage was grilled perfectly...the sauce was really homemade AND the rich fries on the plate ...just a pleasure...not greasy, very crispy and hot...it really couldn't be better...RESPECT to the excellent kitchen crew. A classic, Bavarian inn on the beautiful Lake Egglburger See with a simple ambience, but with a chef and his family full of passion. The daily menu always contains real rarities and delicacies. Recently, for example, a fantastic deer heart salad. Always interesting promotional weeks, currently e.g. Wild. There is also always something for the youngsters with delicious pizzas and burgers (not quite Bavarian). What's noticeable is that they've remained down-to-earth (nothing with "upscale" Bavarian cuisine or anything like that), the regulars' tables are still welcome and the price-performance ratio is really great.

A traditional Bavarian restaurant in Ebersberg. Cozy dining room with fireplace. We see mainly locals dining there and that means good Bavarian food to me. Friendly staff. From there you can take a nice walk around the lake.

A great evening of Bavarian hospitality! After we decided relatively spontaneously and at short notice, a table was organized for us despite a full house. We were greeted warmly and warmly and were given not only the menu but also the original blackboard with the daily specials. Drinks as well as food were served quickly and in a coordinated manner by the two friendly ladies, always attentive but never intrusive! We were thoroughly impressed with the dishes, the taste was a hit and the sizes were completely sufficient. No matter whether it's the Knödl Gröstl with the ingenious sauce, the crispy pizza from the stone oven, the juicy burger or the classic snack; there was something for everyone. The whole thing was topped off with the absolutely delicious Kaiserschmarn... a large portion, fluffy and caramelized at the same time. Plus three delicious additions (apple compote, plum jam and the classic vanilla ice cream). Simply wonderful... we felt very comfortable, ate delicious food and simply enjoyed the Bavarian atmosphere. Thank you!

Unfortunately very different experiences. At lunchtime on Easter Monday everything was great. Recently, in the evening, rather average with a downward trend. I would like to continue "testing", but after the last time I don't really feel like it anymore, it also costs money...

Very tasty food with good price-performance ratio. Then why only 4 stars: 50 minutes waiting time for the food and around 20 minutes waiting time for the drinks is definitely too long. It would have been desirable to have an indication of the waiting time when accepting the order in advance.

The Half Moon Pizza, I'm telling you, INCREDIBLE!!! I've never really eaten anything so good. And the waitresses are all so friendly! The view on the terrace is great and the living room is also really cozy. Simply a dream.

Quaint inn with very friendly service and fantastic dessert! Unfortunately not that much space outside, but otherwise absolutely nothing to complain about.

We were actually quite satisfied so far, which is why we made another reservation with you (for 1 p.m.). But yesterday (Sunday 02/18/24) everything that could go wrong went wrong. Not only were the most common dishes no longer available, but the pizza order was forgotten, which was then no longer available. A leisurely lunch is okay, but the time between the first order and the dessert order was three hours! The service and probably also the kitchen were definitely overwhelmed at the time.

Cozy place to stop after hikes around Lake Eggelburg. Despite the relatively high number of visitors, the very friendly staff make a lot of effort to find and offer seats. The food is very tasty and the service is attentive and friendly. The menu has varied and good food and drinks. After eating you should definitely go on further excursions into the beautiful surroundings.

An einem wunderschönen Herbstsonntag war der Andrang in dieser Ausflugsgaststätte natürlich groß. In weiser Voraussicht hatten wir einen Tisch reserviert (sehr zu empfehlen). Die Bedienungen waren überaus freundlich, was bei diesem Stresspegel nicht selbstverständlich ist. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, die Preise sind mE sehr günstig. Im Anschluss an den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt war der Spaziergang um den Eglburger See obligatorisch. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert.

Schöne Wirtschaft. War ein lohnendes Ziel unserer Radtour. Als Zöliakie Betroffener freue ich mich immer, wenn sich auch Kellner in bayerischen Wirtshäusern damit auskennen und eine verlässliche Auskunft geben können welche Speisen glutenfrei sind. Das gibt's ja leider noch viel zu selten... Eine Kennzeichnung wäre aber noch schöner gewesen. Es war lecker.

Jedes Gericht wurde mit Sorgfalt und Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Die Aromen waren köstlich, und die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen. Ich hatte den Zwiebelrostbraten, es war ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Gemütliches Ambiente: Das Lokal hat eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre. Die Einrichtung ist ländlich und stimmungsvoll. Egal, ob man eine Familienfeier oder ein Treffen mit Freunden plant, hier fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Überragender Biergarten am Egglburger See. Der Seeblick ist fantastisch. Hervorragender Service: Das Personal ( Heike toppt alle) war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Bedienungen war kompetent und kannte die Speisekarte in- und auswendig. Sie standen bereit, um alle Fragen zu beantworten und sicherzustellen, dass wir uns wohl fühlten. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Angesichts der Qualität des Essens und des Service fand ich die Preise mehr als angemessen. Dieses Restaurant bietet ein erstklassiges Erlebnis, ohne die Bank zu sprengen. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Speiselokal nicht genug empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort für besondere Anlässe oder einfach nur, um sich selbst zu verwöhnen. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Ich hatte eine Radltour mit einer agilen Senioren(innen)gruppe organisiert. Die Einkehr wurde im Gasthaus zur Gass geplant. Ursprünglich mit 25 Teilnehmern, letztendlich mit 48. Das Wirtshaus ging flexibel darauf ein. Das Essen war fantastisch. Der Service perfekt. Wir mussten nicht lange auf's Essen warten. Alle waren hochzufrieden.

Sehr schöner Gasthof mit gutem Essen. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war sehr weich und die Kartoffeln waren legendär 😁. Sehr schöner Ort läd auch ein zum spazieren und wandern.

Klasse Wirtschaft mit super Essen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist toll. Die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und insgesamt absolut zu empfehlen.
