Wirtshaus H.D.W. in Bad Frankenhausen/Kyffhäuser

I have the H.d.W. Found it via Google and wanted to eat there on October 22nd, 24, but unfortunately it was far too full and there was no space left. I was there again on October 23rd, 2024 at 7:45 p.m. and unfortunately it was already closed for no apparent reason. It's a shame... I would have liked to have eaten there. I was very interested in the ambience and history.

Food was great, service was great, unfortunately there was no parking facility

Even though we arrived quite late, we still got something to eat. The schnitzel combinations are very good and taste excellent. The waitresses were also very courteous and friendly. Thanks for the great food. Highly recommended.

In contrast to the other restaurants in Bad Frankenhausen, the prices are still fairly affordable and there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste

We ate very good, delicious 😋 dishes. It's worth a visit. The service staff was also very nice and fulfilled all requests quickly. And at the end there was a small sip..For the children, also without alcohol and beautifully prepared..

We were there on Wednesday and had a lovely evening. The food is really tasty and the landlady is super nice. Price and quantity are all right. We'd love to come back again when we're in the area :-)

After I haven't been to this restaurant for what feels like 30 years and am on a short visit to Frankenhausen, I decided to make a detour. What can I say, the food and drinks are delicious and the landlady and waitress are extremely pleasant and open to conversation. You'll definitely be happy to come back there! I can only recommend the HdW! Thanks to the crew!

The food was tasty with good value for money. What we noticed negatively was the long waiting times (both for the food and for the bill), even though the restaurant was quite empty.

Very good honest food! WITHOUT a lot of “bells and whistles” Nice owner. It would be nice if there were other side dishes such as fries, croquettes &.... Deep fryer shouldn't really be the only preparation method!! A good old boiled potato or fried potato is also great!

The Wirtshaus H.D.W was highly recommended to us by our host family. Then we went there spontaneously, were allowed to stay for dinner and had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was great and the landlady really enchanted us with her open manner! Everyone who is on holiday here should eat at H.D.W at least once.

We were here for the first time today. We liked it very much. Super nice and fast service. The food was prepared quickly and was very tasty. The schnitzels were super crispy and still nice and juicy👍🤗 We will be back!!!!

School grade 2+ An old and quaint restaurant. A bit confusing due to a lot of old decorations like hanging old tea bags on the ceiling. Service was great (an older lady (possibly the owner?) served around 18 guests alone. The wait was a little longer but it wasn't too bad as she shortened it with her charm. The food and the prices (two schnitzels with different sauces with croquettes) were super tasty. Price performance is really very good👍 Thumbs up, you can't go wrong here!

Schnitzel "au four" - nirgends so lecker gegessen wie hier. Super nette Besitzerin, gemütliches Ambiente. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Wir sind froh, hier gelandet zu sein. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, haben wir abends nach kurzer Wartezeit am Tresen doch noch einen Tisch in der vollen Kneipe bekommen. In anderen Lokalitäten wird man da schon gern mal einfach abgewimmelt... allein das schon spricht für Gastlichkeit und Kundenorientierung. Das Ambiente ist rustikal, einfach und gemütlich, die Bedienung super nett und das Essen einfach top. Es werden allerlei Schnitzelvarianten, die fleißig gut hörbar in der Küche zurechtgeklopft werden, Nudelgerichte und Pizza angeboten. Wir hatten das Schnitzel "Helene" mit Birne und Preiselbeeren. Es war super lecker, reichlich und preislich voll in Ordnung, auch die Getränkepreise halten sich sehr im Rahmen und der Amaretto mit Sahne aufs Haus zum Schluss, ist eine liebe Geste, die inzwischen nahezu ausgestorben scheint. Wir bereuen den Marsch dorthin nicht und können es nur empfehlen. Alles Gute den Wirtsleuten und vielen Dank nochmals.

Leckere Pizza, 😋 Bier, toller Service. Auf jeden Fall mal dort Essen gehen.

Wir haben dort eine Gruppenbestellung aufgegeben und waren geschmacklich echt überrascht. Die angegebene Lieferzeit wurde eingehalten und das Essen auch noch heiß. Preis / Leistung / Geschmack stimmen definitiv. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, werden wir dort sicherlich nochmals bestellen oder gar persönlich vorbei schauen. Bis dahin und probiert es ruhig mal aus... Ein Gericht kann ich leider nicht empfehlen, da wir Nudeln und Pizza hatten...

Im Wirtshaus h.d.w kann ich nur empfehlen da bekommt man alles was der Mensch braucht wie essen und trinken

Kleine gemütliche Kneipe. Essen schmeckt auch gut 👍. Nur die Parkplatzsuche ist etwas sportlich. Mit viel Glück in der Straße gegenüber. Kommen gerne wieder.

Unglaublich leckere Schnitzelgerichte. Super Gaststättenteam, immer freundlich. Wir waren 6 Personen und hatten unseren Hund dabei. Es wurde sofort eine Wasserschale angeboten. Wenn wir das nächste Mal unsere Familie besuchen sind wir wieder im H.d.W., das ist ein Muss.

Sehr lecker und großzügige Portionen. Hier hört man, wie die Schnitzel in der Küche frisch geklopft werden. Diese sind absolut zu empfehlen.

Gutes Essen und nettes Personal

Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Egal ob Pizza oder die schnitzel, bisher hat alles gut geschmeckt. Einzig was den Spaß trübt ist, dass es nur Apoldaer Bier gibt. 🍺

Tolles Restaurant für diesen kleinen Ort. Das Schnitzel war super und dazu noch preislich sehr attraktiv. Die Bedienung war freundlich, die Einrichtung etwas rustikal aber liebenswert gemacht. Man könnte evtl. noch ein weiteres Dessert anbieten, welches kein Eisbecher ist.

Tolles Essen. Nette Bedienung. Alles war super haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das HdW ist einfach toll. Egal ob vor Ort oder mit Abholung. Das Essen kann man nur empfehlen. Personal ist supernett und für jedem Spass zu haben. Als wir vor einigen Wochen aus dem Urlaub zurückgekommen sind, waren wir noch am Flughafen und haben direkt telefonisch für Heimankunft Essen bestellt - mehr muss man an der Stelle nicht sagen.
