Kristina war super zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Sie hat meine Allergie ernst genommen und mir entsprechend Vorschläge gemacht. Ich war sehr zufrieden!

Essen war okay, Portionsgrösse für den Preis schon sportlich, hätte wärmer sein dürfen.

Wir waren an einem Freitagabend mit einer größeren Gruppe da und trotzdem hat alles super geklappt. Das Essen war richtig lecker, die Atmosphäre toll und der Service einfach top. Auch bei der Reservierung lief alles total unkompliziert und man hat sich wirklich gut um uns gekümmert. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Wirklich gutes Essen, hatten das Wienerschnitzel, welches wirklich sehr gut gemacht war. Das Bier war lecker, aber der absolute Hammer war der Kaiserschmarrn. Ansonsten ist es zentral gelegen, teils touristisch, die Preise sind nichts für sparsam Foodies wer ein Touristenlokal, wo auch einheimische hingehen sucht, findet sich hier absolut gesättigt.

Essen war ok. Kulinarisches Refinement sollte man hier nicht erwarten, eher Convenience-Geschmack. Man sitzt aber einigermaßen urig gemütlich, sowohl im Innen- als auch im Außenraum und findet vielleicht die eine oder andere Biersorte, die es nicht überall gibt.

Wir waren 11 Personen und wurden an einen Tisch für maximal 9 Personen gesetzt. Nachdem ein neuer Tisch ausgesucht wurde und die Bestellung aufgegeben wurde kamen teilweise Vorspeisen und Hauptspeise gemischt oder auch mal beides zusammen, während mache Personen am Tisch noch gar kein esse hatten. Ausrede fühlt sich keiner zuständig die Probleme zu beheben. Allerdings war das Essen Lecker.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Wirtshaus mit einer goßen Gruppe und es wird nicht das letzte Mal sein! Die "Sonderwünsche" unserer Enkelkinder wurden total problemlos erfüllt. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und von guter Qualität. Der freundliche und kompetente Service ist nicht zu vergessen!

Ambiente gemütlich . Service nett . Essen hatte in meinen Augen nichts Bayrisches. So frech fertig Produkte zu verwenden muss man sich auch erstmal trauen .Die Soße zb. schrie förmlich nach Knorr und die Frikadellen war absolut durchschnittlich . Beim Kartoffelpüree bin ich der Meinung merkt man ob Köche Bock haben . Diesmal hatte da keiner Bock . War enttäuschend ,muss aber nicht nochmal sein .

Ich war kürzlich in diesem Restaurant und leider war mein Besuch alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Die Hauptspeise war zwar in Ordnung, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Richtig enttäuschend wurde es dann beim Nachtisch: Das Obst darauf war teilweise verschimmelt. Leider habe ich das erst fast am Ende bemerkt. Als ich den Kellner darauf angesprochen habe, wurde mir zunächst gesagt, das könne nicht sein. Ich habe ihn dann gebeten, sich das selbst anzusehen. Daraufhin nahm er den Teller kommentarlos mit, keine Entschuldigung, kein Entgegenkommen. Am Ende wurde mir trotzdem der volle Preis berechnet. Ein solches Verhalten finde ich absolut unangebracht und enttäuschend. Fehler können passieren, aber wie damit umgegangen wird, ist entscheidend. Für mich war das definitiv ein einmaliger Besuch, nie wieder.

Das Ambiente ist angenehm und entspricht dem Restaurantnamen. Der Service war soweit gut und es wurde auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Beim Essen gibt es allerdings noch einigen Nachholbedarf. Bei dem Preis von Fast 30 € für ein Kalbsschnitzel ist es völlig unverständlich, dass das Schnitzel offensichtlich nur ein Fertigprodukt ist, dass man nur durch die Fritteuse gejagt hat. Der Gipfel war, dass das Schnitzel schwarze Flecken hatte als die Hülle abging. Des Weiteren waren die Bratkartoffeln geschmacklos. Da gibt es Restaurants mit einem definitiv besseren Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis allein bei Schnitzel.

Super leckeres Essen, toller Service aber sehr laut.

Ich wollte anstatt der Pilzraumsauce nur ein paar Blättchen Salat an die Seite habe . Ich finde es dreist, dass mir dann ein Beilagensalat für 5 Euro serviert wird. Die Preise sind echt heftig.

Das wirtshaus ist zentral gelegen und vom Ambiente her sehr schön. Leider beherrscht der Service in weiten Teilen nicht die deutsche Sprache. So erhalte ich zunächst das falsche Getränk in der falschen Größe, obwohl nachgefragt wurde. Anschließend erhalte ich einen Salat ohne Dressing. Auf. Bitte mir Dressing oder ersatzweise Essig und Öl zu geben. Geschieht erstmal 10 Minuten nichts, auch die zweite und dritte Bestellung bleibt unausgeführt. Als dann der gesamte Tisch schon satt ist. Kommt jemand, der meine Sprache versteht. Mach geschlagenen 35 Minuten erhalte ich dann das Näpfchen mit Salatsauce. Ich hoffe, dass dies ein Einzelfall bleibt, denn bei derart hohen Preisen, darf man sicherlich einen funktionierenden Service erwarten.

Sehr leckeres Essen und netter Service.

Wir wollten uns ein schönes Wiener Schnitzel gönnen. Das Schnitzel kam offensichtlich aus der Friteuse und war so dünn geklopft, dass man eigentlich nur die Panade schmeckte. Die Pommes schienen abgezählt. Zumindest meine.Das Foto zeigt den Teller meiner Frau.Die hatte dann doch etwas mehr Pommes 😉Hätte jeder Schnellimbiss besser hinbekommen. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Aber während des Essens kam ein Kellner und ohne ein Wort zu sagen fischte er das Teelicht aus dem Halter. Ambiente rustikal. Fanden wir nun wieder gut.

Wir sind schon mehrfach, mal mit und mal ohne Reservierung im Wirtshaus gewesen. Wir wurden immer herzlich begrüßt. Der Service ist wirklich großartig , die Auswahl der Speisen super und das Ambiente stimmig. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

Uriges Lokal mit deftiger Küche

An sich ein sehr gemütliches süßes einladendes Restaurant. Aber wer wert auf gutes Essen legt ist hier falsch. Das Schnitzel war alles außer ein selbstgemachtes Schnitzel, das war irgendein fertig Ding mit Champignons aus der DOSE?! Dazu irgendeine fertig Mehlsauce die nach nichts geschmeckt hat und ne ganz kleine Hand voll Kartoffel und der Salat dazu wurde genau so auch wieder mitgenommen, entweder macht man das etwas schönes oder lässt es komplett sein. Hirschgulasch das teuerste auf der Karte meine ich, war trocken wie sonst was und die Soße auch wieder irgendein Mehl Zeug. Geht gar nicht. Die Atmosphäre hat uns aber sehr gefallen und das Bier ist wirklich lecker

The pork knuckle was good and plentiful. The cheese spaetzle, unfortunately, were bland and dry. The beer somewhat compensated for that.

The food was relatively cold, the fried potatoes were initially served without a fried egg, then with a fried egg but without bacon, and unfortunately the food wasn't well seasoned either.

Today was our first time here with friends, and we were thrilled. Everything was just perfect. The service was incredibly fast, even though it was very busy. The pork knuckle was cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and incredibly tender inside. What I especially appreciated was that they also offer half a knuckle. We were completely satisfied and highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited the inn for the first time on the evening of February 3rd, 2026. The ambiance is lovely and rustic, the furnishings are cozy, and it's clean. The Kellerbier (cellar beer) is highly recommended. The service, however, leaves much to be desired. It was sometimes inattentive and curt, and one waiter seemed to lack any restaurant experience or language skills. The service improved somewhat towards the end of our visit. Unfortunately, the food is not recommended. It arrived at the table only about four minutes after we ordered. My schnitzel (Jäger's Pork) was a ready-made product, comparable to gas station fare: two flat, industrially formed schnitzels from the deep fryer with a pre-made sauce. At least the fried potatoes were edible. My colleagues' half-chickens were small and dry, and while the pork knuckle was crispy, the inside was no longer juicy. The number of chickens rotating in the open grill towards the kitchen remained unchanged throughout the evening; they seemed to be there purely for show. In short: A cozy inn with good beer but temperamental service and convenience food.

We went to the restaurant for lunch with three girls. The service was excellent, and the food was very good. My mashed potatoes with meatloaf and egg were delicious. My colleagues' burgers were also very good. The apple strudel and lava cake for dessert were warm, sweet, and delicious. Thank you so much... we stayed for a long time and had a few drinks, but never felt like we had to leave.

The ambiance is appealing and the seating was comfortable. However, the food didn't impress our group. The pork knuckle, schnitzel, and chicken were very dry. And when a schnitzel arrives after a mere five minutes, it's clear they've primarily used convenience products (some were even pre-formed schnitzels), and anything simply deep-fried is unacceptable. Moreover, it's far too expensive for what it is. The drink prices are also exorbitant! Therefore, I cannot recommend it!

Great German restaurant with good beers and the typical German food. Make sure you order your greens on the side. Perfect for friends and colleagues.

We were there with 10 people. The waitress made no secret of her displeasure with us. When the drinks arrived, they were placed on the table (including the beer tasting), which meant no one had to check what was in their glasses. The excess beers were "expertly" divided by the waiter into the already full glasses on his tray and (of course) charged accordingly. Absolutely unacceptable! Based on the service, I cannot recommend this place!

Yesterday, after a pleasant evening with colleagues after bowling, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We quickly made our choice and were lucky enough to get a table for five. Our drink orders were taken promptly, but then we had to wait for our food order and politely wave the server over. My burger was good, the fries delicious, and the beer was good. Otherwise, it wasn't suitable for quiet conversation; it was busy and noisy.

We had planned to have lunch there, as we often do. We know from experience that it offers good value for money. However, this time the usually very attentive service staff was poorly chosen. When we asked about a free table, we were brusquely informed that the three men were currently talking and that we would have to wait. No request for patience, no apology. Exchanging photos on their phones was clearly more important than attending to guests. Abysmal service. This restaurant is now off our list. The four-star food rating is based on our previous experience. We then had a very good meal and excellent service a few steps away at Bavarium.

Beautiful, warm decor. Friendly service. Enjoyed perfectly chilled drinks. We've returned and am increasing our rating from 4 to 5 stars because the food was delicious, especially the Kaiserschmarrn – perfectly prepared. Central location opposite the opera house. Even in January 2026, I can only stand by this assessment.

Exclusively convenience food. The food arrived after 10 minutes, so it was just reheated. We ordered a currywurst for the children, which was horribly smoky and completely overcooked; a baked potato, which was perfectly fine except for the poorly dressed salad; a sausage salad, which, as a native of southern Germany, made me shake my head (dressed with Gouda, mustard, and curry powder 😂); and roast goose leg with red cabbage and dumplings. The leg was decent, but the red cabbage was truly disgusting and the dumplings were hard. This is completely unacceptable. The service, however, was quick and attentive.

We love coming here to eat typical German dishes. I almost always order the pork knuckle, which is really very good. The location is fantastic, right across from the opera house, and the service is also good and attentive.

The fried potatoes were awful, and the food from the tavern platter was presented without any care. It was cold and stale on the plate, as if it were leftover from an event. The service was completely self-absorbed and didn't even bother to check on us. The restaurant itself is very nice and well-maintained. Even when paying, they just said they'd inform the kitchen. That's unnecessary, because the person already knows they've made a mistake. I don't want to spend money on something that any small child could do better. But unfortunately, it's not enough to warrant eating there again.

Good food in a somewhat noisy atmosphere. Our server wasn't quite as attentive as we would have liked. The restaurant has a rustic charm and a comfortable feel. BUT what's completely unacceptable is charging €1.50 for a dollop of mayonnaise and 60 cents for an extra splash of milk. Is that really necessary? You could easily make 300 servings from a 10-liter bucket of mayo. If it weren't for that, we would have had a great time. Perhaps you should reconsider your mayo pricing strategy; then you'd have more customers.

Today, the two of us ate at the inn. Since it looked very appealing from the outside and the interior, we weren't expecting anything bad. After a long wait, the waiter came and went, asking in an annoyed voice, "What would you like?" When the pork knuckle, which cost €25, arrived completely burnt (literally black), we couldn't find a single waiter anywhere to ask about it. Furthermore, there was no meat on the knuckle, just bones. No one asked if everything was alright during the meal. When a waiter finally came and we complained, there wasn't even an apology or compensation for the inedible dish. We still paid the full price. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

I had another delicious goulash! The atmosphere was very inviting, and the staff were exceptionally friendly! And then came the dessert: Kaiserschmarrn! A flavor explosion! It couldn't be better! Keep it up!!! 🍀🍀🍀

We were there yesterday. I had a Wiener Schnitzel – the fries were tasty, but the veal for the schnitzel was pounded far too thin (about 1-2 mm), so the schnitzel tasted more of the thick breading than the meat. For that, the dish was definitely far too expensive! At least the food arrived fairly quickly and the service was friendly.

Some of the orders were taken incorrectly. Unfortunately, the food isn't very good. The schnitzels, for example, are pre-made. The price-performance ratio isn't right.

We ate here while waiting for our train. Easily accessible on foot from the main train station, delicious and rustic food, reasonable prices.

The Wirtshaus Hannover offers a pleasantly rustic atmosphere and generally good food. The dishes were tasty, if not outstanding – solid, home-style cooking that delivers on its promise. However, I did notice that when the restaurant is full, the service clearly reaches its limits. The staff tries their best, but there were noticeable waiting times and minor organizational hiccups. All in all, a good place for a cozy evening, but with room for improvement – ​​especially when it gets really crowded.
