Despite the busy Christmas season, the staff were very friendly. The music could have been a bit quieter; then it wouldn't have been necessary to speak so loudly. Everything else was great! 👍👍👍

The fried potatoes were awful, and the food from the tavern platter was presented without any care. It was cold and stale on the plate, as if it were leftover from an event. The service was completely self-absorbed and didn't even bother to check on us. The restaurant itself is very nice and well-maintained. Even when paying, they just said they'd inform the kitchen. That's unnecessary, because the person already knows they've made a mistake. I don't want to spend money on something that any small child could do better. But unfortunately, it's not enough to warrant eating there again.

What a great location! Despite the place being packed, the food arrived incredibly fast, hot, and delicious. The staff were excellent and hardworking. We'd love to come back.

Good food in a somewhat noisy atmosphere. Our server wasn't quite as attentive as we would have liked. The restaurant has a rustic charm and a comfortable feel. BUT what's completely unacceptable is charging €1.50 for a dollop of mayonnaise and 60 cents for an extra splash of milk. Is that really necessary? You could easily make 300 servings from a 10-liter bucket of mayo. If it weren't for that, we would have had a great time. Perhaps you should reconsider your mayo pricing strategy; then you'd have more customers.

Today, the two of us ate at the inn. Since it looked very appealing from the outside and the interior, we weren't expecting anything bad. After a long wait, the waiter came and went, asking in an annoyed voice, "What would you like?" When the pork knuckle, which cost €25, arrived completely burnt (literally black), we couldn't find a single waiter anywhere to ask about it. Furthermore, there was no meat on the knuckle, just bones. No one asked if everything was alright during the meal. When a waiter finally came and we complained, there wasn't even an apology or compensation for the inedible dish. We still paid the full price. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

I had another delicious goulash! The atmosphere was very inviting, and the staff were exceptionally friendly! And then came the dessert: Kaiserschmarrn! A flavor explosion! It couldn't be better! Keep it up!!! 🍀🍀🍀

We were there yesterday. I had a Wiener Schnitzel – the fries were tasty, but the veal for the schnitzel was pounded far too thin (about 1-2 mm), so the schnitzel tasted more of the thick breading than the meat. For that, the dish was definitely far too expensive! At least the food arrived fairly quickly and the service was friendly.

The Wirtshaus Hannover offers a pleasantly rustic atmosphere and generally good food. The dishes were tasty, if not outstanding – solid, home-style cooking that delivers on its promise. However, I did notice that when the restaurant is full, the service clearly reaches its limits. The staff tries their best, but there were noticeable waiting times and minor organizational hiccups. All in all, a good place for a cozy evening, but with room for improvement – ​​especially when it gets really crowded.

We ate here while waiting for our train. Easily accessible on foot from the main train station, delicious and rustic food, reasonable prices.

I ate here with colleagues last week. The service was quick, but there were a few unpleasant incidents: a drink was spilled on my colleague's jacket – without an apology. Also, another colleague's salad contained a hair. Overall, the food tasted good. However, the descriptions of the dishes didn't match reality. The "thick potato with ham hock" turned out to be a baked potato with a very small piece of ham hock, which was disappointing. The ambiance, however, is very nice.

The service was exceptionally friendly, the food was top quality, and we received everything very quickly. A thoroughly enjoyable visit – I would choose this restaurant again anytime!

We were a group of six and visited the inn for the first time. We were generally satisfied with the ambiance and food, apart from the unpleasantly loud atmosphere. However, we were somewhat appalled by our vegetarian friend's "vegan schnitzel with fries." Served without care and "naked" for €19.90, as you can see in the photo.

Convenient ordering and paying via the web app... When you not only pay, but also for your neighbor, whom you don't know. After paying, however, only your neighbor's order is placed and not your own. Then you wait. The food and drinks aren't brought to the table at the same time. Ordering from the waiter isn't any better. Placing your order, waiting, asking again, and ordering again. The food and drinks are quite expensive. For example, €5.90 for 0.5ml of Coke or a small bowl of fries without sauce. It was full, but nothing special.

The local German specialties were excellent. The service was fast and impeccable. They have excellent staff. I will definitely go back on my next trip.

But that seems to be the norm these days. We ate Schnitzel, Hamburger and Spatzle, burger was not bad, schnitzel was too thin to get the taste of the meat. I liked the spatzle, though first time ate and nothing to compare. After the food also we felt quite heavy on the stomach, so maybe too much oil.

We're from Austria and only in Hanover for one day. We visited this restaurant by chance, and everything was just perfect. The food was excellent, the service attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was also outstanding. On a very hot day, we enjoyed a good meal and drinks in the shade of the trees. Our waitress Kristina was very nice, and the other waitresses were also very accommodating. We sat in the garden, but the restaurant is also beautifully decorated inside. The restrooms are very clean. Highly recommended!

The specialties (curry sausage or pork shank) are delicious and their shepherds very good (excellent pulled pork) crispy fries. We ate on the terrace and despite the traffic it was pleasant. Special mention for the decor. In short, we recommend this brasserie to discover the specialties of the region.

A very nice location with a large fireplace inside. Certainly very inviting and cozy in the cold season. We sat outside, which was also very nice, under the trees. The staff wore traditional costumes, which added to the pleasant ambience. I had a baked potato with a lovely cream and chicken. However, the potato was quite plain, which is a shame; unfortunately, the value for money is not right for me. Simply too small for a baked potato. Otherwise, the food was fresh, and the salad that came with it was nice and crisp. We were served very kindly and attentively.

The food is relatively good; the knuckle tastes good; the skin is nice and crispy. The schnitzel used to be better; it has less flavor now; it used to be juicier. The spaetzle with Leberkäse is good and a decent portion. The drinks are also relatively good value for money. The dark Löwenbreu is particularly good; I highly recommend it; the beer is good there.
