Wirtshaus Barbarossa (Augustiner Bräu) in Altötting

Es war lecker, schnell und sehr zuvorkommend Personal!! W kommen wieder!

Es gibt viele Gründe, die für diese bayerische Wirtschaft sprechen: sie wird von Einheimischen besucht ; ) Das Pfeffersteak war butterweich und auf den Punkt gebraten. Die Gasträume sind sehr gediegen, der Biergarten schattig. Der Service zeigt sich bodenständig. Und das Augustiner kommt frisch vom Fass. Neben zwei anderen Lokalen ist das Barbarossa unsere sichere Anlaufstelle, wenn wir nach Altötting pilgern. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Gandenkapelle!

Alles super! Sehr gutes Essen, freundliches Personal. Ich bin begeistert.

Schönes Retaurant und gutes Essen, nur leider haben wir sehr lange darauf, sowie auf die Rechnung warten müssen. Bei Ersterem waren wohl die Massen an Leuten Schuld, bei Letzterem gab es keinen ersichtlichen Grund. Die Knödel waren sehr lecker!

Sehr gutes bayerisches Restaurant mit authentischer Küche und angenehmer Atmosphäre. Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich, aufmerksam und gut organisiert. Man wurde schnell begrüßt und der Service lief reibungslos, ohne lange Wartezeiten oder unnötige Hektik. Besonders positiv ist die ehrliche, unaufdringliche Art aufgefallen, wodurch man sich als Gast sofort wohlgefühlt hat. Das Essen war außerordentlich gut. Die Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich sehr ausgewogen und typisch bayerisch umgesetzt. Sowohl die Qualität der Zutaten als auch die Portionen haben überzeugt. Man merkt, dass hier noch Wert auf traditionelle Küche gelegt wird, ohne dass es altmodisch wirkt. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt insgesamt sehr gut. Die Portionen sind angemessen groß und die Qualität rechtfertigt den Preis. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant, in dem sowohl Service als auch Küche auf hohem Niveau sind.

Mittagessen im Restaurantgarten. Ich bat um einen Sonnenschirm. Dem Gesichtsausdruck der Kellnerin nach zu urteilen, sollte ich mir wohl besser einen anderen Platz suchen. Ich war nur mit einer anderen Person da, und die Speisekarte enthielt nur Gerichte; die Getränkekarte musste man extra bestellen. Ich bestellte ein Rindersteak mit Beilagen (Salat und Pommes) anstelle von Babykartoffeln. Meine Begleitung bestellte Lachs mit Spargel und Babykartoffeln. Mein Salat wurde 20 Minuten vor dem Hauptgang serviert und war bei den heutigen Temperaturen bereits leicht warm. 🙁 Als ich die Kellnerin fragte, wann der Hauptgang (das Rindersteak) käme, erfuhr ich, dass der Salat als sogenannte „Vorspeise“ serviert wurde, obwohl er als Beilage auf der Karte stand. Und noch ein eklatanter Fehler. 🤬: Das Gericht meiner Begleitung wurde viel früher serviert als meines. Gesamtbewertung: sehr gutes Essen, durchschnittliches Ambiente, Service 3+

Es war wunderbar und absolut zu empfehlen..

Als ich die Speise Karte gesehen hab war ich überrascht über die hohen Preise. Diese sind aber gerechtfertigt. Im großen und ganzen hab ich mich da sehr wohl gefühlt und auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. 2 sehr verschiedene Gerichte sind zeitgleich bei uns am Tisch angekommen und die Temperatur war optimal, nicht zu heiß und auch nicht zu kalt. Eins steht fest, wir waren nicht das letzte Mal da. Danke für den schönen abend.

Ich habe zum wiederholten Mal im Barbarossa für meine Wallfahrer reserviert. In einem schönen Wirtshaus-Ambiente kann man sehr gut essen und wird dabei von sehr nettem und freundlichen Personal bedient. Alle 9 Wallfahrer haben dies bestätigt. Nächstes jahr wieder!

Ich war an einem Dienstagabend im Wirtshaus. Trotz des komplett vollen Gasthauses war der Service sehr aufmerksam und wirklich fix. Das Essen war hervorragend und ist nur zu empfehlen. Ich persönlich würde jederzeit wieder das Wirtshaus Barbarossa besuchen.

Es ist ein schönes Haus, wo man flexibel auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen ist. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, der Kaiserschmarrn war ein Traum.

A lovely inn with very friendly service. The food was good, and the portions were quite generous. If I had any complaints about the food, it would be that the meat was a bit too firm and the red cabbage a bit too sour. Nevertheless, the food was very tasty. In summary, you can eat well here and have a wonderful evening.

We spent a wonderful evening in the rustic beer garden. We enjoyed a nicely chilled Oktoberfest beer from a stein. We ate a very good Cordon Bleu and first-class burgers. The service was very friendly and prompt. We'd be happy to return.

Altötting is always worth a visit, as is the excellent "Barbarossa" restaurant. We've been here twice now, and it was great both times. Greetings from Augsburg

Good food, friendly staff, top.

I've been there several times...really good quality and large portions...nice beer garden...and good service (this time even excellent)...highly recommended...on Saturdays, don't come until 1 p.m., then the market is over and there are parking spaces right in front.

Unfortunately, the prices here are very high for a truly simple restaurant. Almost all dishes cost an average of just under €20. That would be fine if the quality matched that price. The sauce for the roast pork was minimal and very salty and sticky, more like packet sauce. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, I spent last night in a less-than-comfortable place. The oil the fries were fried in didn't seem to be the freshest. The cucumber slice and lettuce leaf for garnishing, which I'd seen on several plates before—or at least, that's what they looked like—were completely dried out and not fresh. The service was inexperienced, clearing the table even though others were still eating, taking carafes even though there was still some left in them—all in all, an experience I don't need to repeat. Make an effort; considering the big-city prices you're charging, it's absolutely unjustified!

A truly recommendable inn. Delicious food and reasonable prices. We'd be happy to return on our next pilgrimage.

Although the outside area was packed and the restaurant was busy inside, we barely had to wait. Very friendly, young, and efficient staff. Absolutely great value for money. It was delicious. Definitely recommend it 👍🏻

We had to wait quite a while for the bill, even though there were only four other tables outside. Maybe they just overlooked us. The liver dumpling soup was good, as were the creamed mushrooms with potato dumplings. The meat in the roast pork wasn't good, but the sauce and dumplings were. Unfortunately, card payments aren't possible; seeing a sign about it beforehand would have definitely helped. The price/performance ratio is good, though.

We've been to Barbarossa several times and have always been well looked after. The slightly higher price is justified by the generous portions and good quality. We'd be happy to return! The only drawback is that card payments should be offered at this price point.

I can definitely recommend the inn. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly.

Yesterday, after the youth pilgrimage, we had dinner here with 10 people around 7:30 p.m. The biggest rush was over. The food was delicious and the service, despite the previous huge rush, was very friendly, attentive and everyone had a smile on their face. Greetings go out to Astrid 😃. We'll be back.

We came to eat in a larger group. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time to pay and for the drinks to arrive, but the food was served quickly and it tasted very good.

The place and the staffs here were very nice. Also the food was good. Although I didn't finish my food because I was already full, I asked the woman that I will just bring the leftover and she was very nice and gave me something to put my leftover food. Thank you for that. Looking forward to coming back and try another dish from here. 😊

Rustic restaurant, has a nice menu, there's something for everyone, there are also 2 to 3 signs outside the door about the daily offerings. We hadn't booked a table, but we were able to choose one. I have mushrooms with two different dumplings (one fried, one two slices of bread dumplings and salad. My husband had pork loin slices, mushroom sauce and spaetzle with a small side salad. Both were very tasty 😋 The waitress was very attentive, asked if it tasted good and if we wanted to order anything else. We would come here again and again. 😍👍

We were at the inn on September 21st, 2024 with a group of around 150 people. There can be nothing other than 5 stars for the processing in advance, the friendly email and telephone contact during preparation, the catering on the day itself, the preparation of the food and everything that led to this day being unique and successful. A heartfelt thank you. It's fun to plan for a large group. The Barbarossa inn can only be recommended. Well-lived traditional Bavarian pub culture with a nice, motivated and friendly team

If you are looking for good food at a fair price, you will find it here. Staff always friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is pleasant and cozy. The devil's toast is legendary.

Great stay: Had a company party and were well served. Food was very tasty. Nothing to complain about.

Since then, a very cozy atmosphere that doesn't keep up with the spirit of the times. Unfortunately it's a bit noisy, which can be annoying. The service is extremely friendly, the portions are quite large (which somewhat justifies the initially high price) and really, really tasty.

Staff was really friendly, I ordered a fish dish that tasted very good, portion size was rather small.
