We were at the inn on September 21st, 2024 with a group of around 150 people. There can be nothing other than 5 stars for the processing in advance, the friendly email and telephone contact during preparation, the catering on the day itself, the preparation of the food and everything that led to this day being unique and successful. A heartfelt thank you. It's fun to plan for a large group. The Barbarossa inn can only be recommended. Well-lived traditional Bavarian pub culture with a nice, motivated and friendly team

The three of us (my wife, mom and I) had dinner at Barbarossa this evening and, as always, it was just great! The roast pork was a dream 👍👍 and in general everything was delicious and very nice! We'll be back soon 👍 Update: Yesterday we had a shift dinner at Barbarossa and it was a pleasure to be there again. Great stay: Had a company party and were well served. Food was very tasty. Nothing to complain about.

Since then, a very cozy atmosphere that doesn't keep up with the spirit of the times. Unfortunately it's a bit noisy, which can be annoying. The service is extremely friendly, the portions are quite large (which somewhat justifies the initially high price) and really, really tasty.

Staff was really friendly, I ordered a fish dish that tasted very good, portion size was rather small.

Great food, very nice service and nice ambience. We've been coming by every now and then for years. Card payments are not possible here, but there is an ATM right around the corner.

We were guests with a group of 40 people. Ordering the meals in advance went smoothly and you could even reorder at short notice in the restaurant. All drinks and meals were served quickly by the very friendly and very prompt staff. The restaurant is also beautifully and rustically furnished. The meals were very well portioned and tasted excellent. As the icing on the cake there was/is our beloved Augustiner beer! We'd love to come back! 👍🥰🍻

Hello everyone, we are in Altötting every now and then to eat at Barbarossa. We have known the restaurant for over 20 years and the food is very good. The staff is friendly and courteous. We had a salad with pollock and a plate of brawn with fresh farmer's bread 😋 both dishes were sufficient and tasted very good.

Food and service are very good. Only the choice of food on the menu should be expanded here and there

Went here for lunch and the service was quick. The staff is nice and attentive. Only had little things like Swiss sausage salad, dumplings in vinegar and oil and sausage salad. All 3 dishes had good portion sizes and were very tasty.

Very tasty food (cheese spaetzle with fresh (!) salad), very nice service, nice atmosphere -> an all-round successful evening. (However, only cash payment is no longer appropriate, but I would still come back 😉)

Nice restaurant with exceptionally good food (Fürstenteller), good beer, friendly and fast service. The beer garden seemed a bit unkempt, at least on this day, but it certainly didn't detract from the lovely evening. Always worth a visit, we'll be back.

The food was very tasty! What I think is very cool is that you can't pay by card there (it definitely has "advantages and disadvantages"). The menu is nice and clear. The service was friendly, the restaurant also has a nice atmosphere inside and out, the toilets are nice and clean. Next to the restaurant there is a parking lot that you can use, including charging stations for electric cars and an underground car park.

Great gastronomy, with a great menu and super nice staff. Were here for the first time and will definitely come here more often. There is only one problem, we have a 700 kilometer journey from Cottbus.

Wir hatten Weihnachtsfeier. Mussten leider 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten. Ein Kollege hatte sich was zum Trinken bestellt.Da er nach 10 Minuten immer noch nichts hatte bestellte er nochmals.Plötzlich bekam er 2 fast zum gleichen Zeitpunkt.Na ja........... Beim Essen muss ich leider sagen,für den Preis ist zu wenig auf den Teller und kalt angekommen.Der Nachtisch war teilweise verbrannt.

TOP. Gemütliche Wirtshaus-Atmosphäre aber nicht zu laut. Ich war am Dienstagabend dort und habe problemlos einen Platz bekommen. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich, das Essen sehr gut. Ich hatte „nur“ eine Gulaschsuppe und einen gemischten Salat. Beides hat super geschmeckt! Und: preislich war das Ganze regelrecht günstig. Auch sowas gibt‘s noch! Also, ich war rundum zufrieden und kann das Wirtshaus ohne Wenn und Aber empfehlen! 👍

Es ist 13.15 Uhr. Man schlendert bei strahlendem Sonnenschein durch den Aussenbereich. Drei freie Tische. Einer davon noch mit leeren Gläsern, ohne Schild, ein weiterer mit Reservierung um 13.00. Der dritte Tisch mit Reservierung auf 12.00 Uhr. Und da stand sie auch schon, die kompetente Servicekraft. Gefragt nach einem Tisch für 4 Personen kam die erfreuliche, dass draussem alles schon reserviert ist, aber wir sollen uns drinnen einen Tisch suchen. Aber sicher doch! Machen wir. Und zwar in einem anderem Lokal, und da auch nur, wenn's schlecht Wetter ist. Schönen Tag noch.

Altötting ist ein schöner, ruhiger Ort. Aber das Barbarossa ist das Highlight. Ich komme zwar leider nicht oft vorbei, aber wenn ich in Altötting bin, geht's ohne einen Besuch im Barbarossa nicht. Fantastische Gaststätte mit viel Liebe zum Detail, super freundliches Personal und ein sehr sympathisches Betreiberpaar. Um es kurz zu machen: Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch im Barbarossa😉

Gutes Wirtshaus. Nichts zum aussetzen. Essen war sehr gut. Servicekräfte sehr freundlich!

Schnelle Bedienung. Mittagsmenü kam ca. 5-10 Minuten nach Bestellung. Hätte etwas wärmer sein können, aber geschmacklich sehr gut.

Wir sind spontan nach einem Ausflug mit Freunden eingekehrt. Es war überhaupt kein Problem, dass wir zu neunt waren. Personal war sehr freundlich. Essen kam schnell, auch das nachbestellte Essen der Kids. Essen war wirklich lecker und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung für die Portionen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Wirklich leckeres Essen, außerordentlich freundliche Bedienungen und sehr aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier zu 100%. Egal wann ich hier zum Essen gehe, ich wurde nicht einmal enttäuscht. Die Portionen sind auch völlig ausreichend. Gerne wieder 👍🏻

Bekamen wir als Insider-Tipp unserer Gasthofwirtin. Wer richtig lecker (und vom Preis her günstig) essen will, ist hier genau richtig. Der Übernachtungsort sollte nicht zu weit sein, denn dorthin rollt man dann zurück! Richtig große Portionen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Leckere Süßkartoffel-Pommes und eine Leberknödelsuppe, wie sie sich ein Westfale erhofft. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam und freundlich. Hierhin kommen wir gern wieder!

Vorab bei einer sehr freundlichen Dame einen Tisch reserviert. Aus dem Frankenland angereist. Freundlichst empfangen worden. Gastraum ist eine Mischung aus Moderne und Urig. Bedienung sehr freundlich und ist auf Sonderwünsche ohne Probleme eingegangen. Essen hat allen geschmeckt. Sämtliches Personal gut drauf. Beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder.
