Table reservation at 6 p.m., door still locked at 5:45 p.m. and no one there (opening hours from 5 p.m.). Burger meat cold. Came from the microwave... doesn't work at all!

Unfortunately that was nothing. We were there with 6 people. Diet Coke expired, pizza for a vegetarian was served with salami, rigatoni that wasn't made with ham instead of minced meat as on the menu and hair baked into the pizza. We waited for this meal for over an hour in a completely empty restaurant. We've never eaten so badly. Of course, efforts were made to limit the damage, but after so many mistakes that is impossible.

1a Pizzeria!!! Einzigartige, lockere und knackige Pizzabrötchen. Auch die Pizza selber einsame Spitze, mit dünnem, crossen Boden.

We were here just to eat while attending festival in the cave. Meals were tasty and big portions. Beer was the top of everything there :)

Hönnetalstraße 7I ate my best pizza I've ever had here and I've eaten a lot of pizzas. We will definitely go back to Balve from Düsseldorf and eat pizza here again. Thank you. Addendum October 27, 2025: We were at “da Piccolo” again today, the fourth time this year. As always, it was very tasty. Pizza, wine and service are simply top notch. A huge thank you also to the great pizza maker 🍕😍

Helle 2We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary here. It was an unforgettable day. We were lovingly welcomed. The room was festively decorated. The ambience was as always Perfect. There was nothing wrong with the service. The food can only be praised. It was perfect as always. The mood was very good. We always feel very comfortable in the Cave Restaurant. A big thank you to the Köster family and team. You gave us a wonderful day. Keep it up!
