Wirtshaus am Hart in München

Schönes Restaurant mit Biergarten. Das Essen ist okay, ich mag einfach keine Ketchup-Tüten auf meinem Teller.

Wir waren vor kurzem mit mehreren Kollegen (auch von weiter her) erstmalig zum Essen dort. Die Bewertung von 4,5 erschein uns ganz gut. Das Erlebnis war leider sehr durchwachsen - im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes: Die Spareribs waren sehr zäh, die Käsespätzle in unseren Augen nicht selbstgemacht, sondern wurden wohl fertig vom Beutel in die Panne geschoben und nur noch erwärmt. Geschmacklich sehr fad und von der Konsistenz teigig, von Käse kaum etwas zu schmecken. Das Dressing der Beilagensalate war zudem so sauer, dass ich mich dabei verschluckt habe. Wir haben aus Interesse gegenseitig von unseren Gerichten probiert. Unsere Meinung war einhellig: Das war unser erster und zugleich letzter Besuch in dieser Lokalität.

Dieses Restaurant war hervorragend! Freundlicher Service und fantastisches Essen. Die Einrichtung war gemütlich und eine gelungene Mischung aus traditionellem bayerischem Stil und modernen Elementen. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir in den vier Nächten unseres München-Aufenthalts zweimal dort gegessen haben.

Das Personal ist wirklich Mega freundlich. Hab mich sehr wohl gewühlt :) ich hatte zuvor angerufen und die Info bekommen, dass bis 21:45 Uhr warme Küche ist, was wir sehr begrüßt haben. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und gut umsorgt. Der Beilagensalat ist so groß wie ein normaler Salat, wirklich sehr lecker, gilt auch für die Hauptspeisen. Da kann man eigentlich nichts falsches nehmen, ich selbst kann mich for das Gulasch aussprechen. Alles frisch gemacht und sein Geld wert.

War heute beim Leimer Brettl(Theater),Dieses war nicht nur gut sondern fantastisch..bin öfter dort es lohnt sich immer. Service gut..Essen sehr gut...Stimmung toll Sehr nettes Wirtshaus

Alles super Preis von Getränke a bisserl teuer ist aber inzwischen nix neues in der Gastronomie

Der Inhaber war hektisch und etwas genervt. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Personen und haben nach einigen Unterredungen einen Platz ohne Reservierung bekommen. Der Flammkuchen war gut, Schnitzel auch, einige andere Gerichte waren Durchschnitt. Das alkoholfreie Löwenbräubier hatte einen Nachgeschmack. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, aber stimmig. Es gibt wohl einen schönen Außenbereich.

We always liked it when we played cards there - but last time we were not welcome anymore. Was there a change in ownership? Reservationaddress did not work bu even though there were plenty of unbooked tables we were told to leave.

Wir waren für einen Kurzurlaub in München. Spontan haben wir vorher angerufen ob noch ein Platz frei ist. Das war kein Problem. Vor Ort doch hoher Betrieb aber ein Platz war für uns frei. Sehr schöne Ambiente im Landhausstil. Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und die Bedienungen ebenfalls mega freundlich und sehr nett.

Der Service war grandios, die Bedienung stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität, und auch die Preise sind absolut fair. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das man nur weiterempfehlen kann.

our family often goes to Bayern restaurant, and only eats one dish, Schweinebraten mit Knödel. This is a restaurant that we are satisfied with the food, the spices are very tasty, the sauce is a lot 👍, it's just a pity that it seems to have a lot of fat, otherwise I would have given 5 stars for the food.

There were four of us for dinner. I had a Munich-style schnitzel with fries and liver dumpling soup as a starter. The soup was thin and tasteless. The schnitzel was stuffed with cheese and bacon. The cheese was tasteless and very runny. The meat was of poor quality. The whole thing cost about €25. The other people's food was of similar quality. We all wondered if there was a trained chef working in the kitchen!

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food is only average. The service was satisfactory.

We frequently visited the Wirtshaus am Hart for dinner and card games. We were always welcome there, until October 20, 2025. We had made a reservation by email and arrived there to play cards, eat, and drink as usual. I immediately noticed that, strangely enough, I didn't know any of the waiters. I was looking for the clipboards we usually get to cover the hole in the table, and a waitress asked if he could help. I explained to him that we needed the clipboards again, to which he replied that the frame couldn't be removed from the table. I told him, we've always done it that way. He said not today. I asked if he had a table without the hole so we could play cards... You won't be playing cards here today. Then I said that you probably don't want our money, so we'll leave. Which was probably fine. Well, due to a lack of alternatives, we went to the Ziegelhaus and were warmly welcomed, the service was friendly, and the food delicious. They won't see us again....

This is a great local spot. I was in town for a conference and wanted to go to a ‘local’ place and this was recommended. I went in and had a pint (or 2), and the wiener schnitzel. All were great. The owner was extremely friendly. Definitely someplace I would love to come back to.

We were there on September 29, 2025. We were assigned a great table in this rustically furnished restaurant. After a friendly welcome at the bar, we had a truly lovely ambiance. The menu is well-stocked and clearly laid out. Drinks were served very quickly. Then we ordered our food. It was Munich Braumeister Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu, with a small side salad, and for dessert, apple fritters with vanilla ice cream. The salad, which came first, was a decent size and well-seasoned. The Cordon Bleu was a good portion with crispy fries, and everyone enjoyed it. Then came the Munich Braumeister Schnitzel, which tasted a bit bland because the horseradish listed on the menu was missing from all three portions we ordered, but that shouldn't have been a problem. I quickly asked if it was possible to have a bowl of horseradish, and my request was immediately granted – perfect! The dessert was an absolute dream: three handmade apple fritters with vanilla ice cream, beautifully garnished and very tasty. I would order it again and again. I would like to thank the truly motivated team for a successful evening with good, down-to-earth food.

An example of how a Bavarian beer garden has been defaced! A roof has been built over it, leaving hardly any chestnut trees to be seen. Sad. The beer prices are comparable to the Aumeister tourist beer garden, but far from cozy. Definitely not for me!

Service was typically gruff, but reliable. Zero vegan options on the menu, with 46 spelling errors. Nicely renovated, but the beer garden isn't wheelchair accessible. It's actually unthinkable these days.

The restaurant is easily accessible by both public transport and car. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor seating areas. Overall, the ambiance is pleasant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We'll be back!

I was there for a private event/performance. The technology and sound were good, the ambiance very pleasant. The food was okay, and the service attentive. I would go again for another such event, but otherwise it's too far and too ordinary for me. Definitely an alternative for people in the neighborhood.

I think the quality of the food has declined significantly since the new tenant. It used to be more comfortable to sit outside. You'd sit right under the trees rather than under the roof. The interior is much nicer, though. Wait times can be very long. We don't enjoy the food as much anymore, so we rarely go there anymore. It's a shame.

The burger idea was good, but unfortunately, the burger and fries were a bit too greasy for me, and the mustard sauce wasn't quite right. I thought it was a bit overpriced for the portion. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. It's very spacious outside and cozy in the evening when it's lit up!

The food in the restaurant was okay—neither particularly good nor bad, just average. Unfortunately, the overall impression was significantly dampened by the service. The waiter was unfriendly from the start and seemed annoyed with every order. At the end of the visit, because we didn't leave a tip (which isn't mandatory in Germany), he made derogatory and disrespectful comments. Such behavior is completely unprofessional for the service industry. It's a shame, because with a little more friendliness, the visit could have been much more pleasant.

If you like a pure beer garden atmosphere, this might be the place for you. The food was slapped onto the plate without any love, far too small for the price. And it wasn't very tasty either. As someone who grew up in Bavaria... I'll definitely go to other locations. Unfortunately.

If you're looking for a decent pub in the north of Munich, you can't miss this place. My suckling pig goulash was lukewarm, and my neighbors noticed what they thought was stale beer.

We were there with a large group (14 people), and it wasn't a problem at all. The food was delicious and the menu was extensive. There were a few waits for service, but I think that's normal in a pub.

Unfortunately, our visit wasn't particularly pleasant. The service was unfriendly and corrected us for every small order error in High German or a northern accent – ​​it came across as condescending and unwelcoming. They also openly criticized what they considered to be a low tip, which I personally found highly inappropriate. Empty beer glasses went unnoticed for a long time, and overall, I got the impression that service and attentiveness aren't a priority here. I was also disappointed by the quality and portion size of the food – the value for money isn't right, in my opinion. It's a shame, because the location actually had great potential.

We arrived in Munich today and didn't feel like going out in this heat. So we ordered food from here and had it delivered through Volt. The cheese spaetzle, roast pork with dumplings, and pretzels with Obazter (traditional Austrian sausage) were absolutely delicious. The food was delivered at the requested time, and we were very full. The price was also reasonable. I can't say anything about the restaurant, as the food was delivered, as mentioned.

I had cordon bleu today, and I can't recommend it. It wasn't good and it was way too expensive. Also, there was an unidentifiable animal in the salad, which I thought was an animal that definitely didn't belong there. The service was friendly. I won't be going there again.

Everything was great except for the spare ribs, they weren't that great

Actually a good restaurant with Bavarian flair, good food and great outdoor dining. But the waiting time until a waitress comes to take the order and the waiting time until the ordered drinks and food arrive has increased dramatically in the last few months... the "highlight" was when we had to wait over an hour for that Food came! If this continues, we will unfortunately have to look for another location for our monthly meeting, sorry 🤷‍♂️

Had the burger with ox steak—portions were reasonable and the taste was good overall, though the steak bits were just okay. My wife had the chicken breast steak in a cornflakes batter; nice idea, but it was a bit burnt. We washed it all down with a refreshing spritzer. The service was fine and the place had a relaxed vibe. Decent experience, with some room for improvement on the food prep.

What a great restaurant. In short: we can only recommend it. Lang: We were on vacation in Munich and were looking for something “near” the hotel and ended up here by chance. The prices were absolutely fair. We had a burger for €17, a roast for €16 and a tarte flambée. The service was very friendly. At the beginning we were told straight away what could be done for children. The whole time they were very attentive without being intrusive. If you want to eat Bavarian home cooking in Munich, for example in the form of a burger, you've come to the right place. I would also like to briefly mention the ambience: it was rustic, modern. A really high feel-good character. Just great! If we are in Munich again, we will definitely come back.

Highly recommended! I ate at the inn on two different days and it was great! There was a different waiter on site on both days and both were extremely personable. Since I'm from Mainz, I wanted to order a “Cola Schobbe” (white wine spritzer with cola) and explained the drink to both waiters. Both were very confused at first, but it turned into a nice conversation! There is also the only suggestion for improvement - schobbe glasses! Wine spritzer is better to drink from it than from a wine glass. The food came quickly and was very tasty! Both the tarte flambée and the burgers are recommended! When we go away to Munich again it will be the Wirtshaus am Hart again!
