Today there were four of us adults and two children. We were the first visitors and had to wait quite a while for the food. When the food arrived I had to swallow because the main courses are very small considering the prices are between 20 and 30 euros each. The concept is probably geared towards tasting a starter, main course and dessert. We wanted to try the restaurant from Neustädter because everything sounded good. But even the homemade ravioli were sour... the flavor was not balanced and lukewarm despite being hot. My black feather chicken sounded good but it was dry and the stuffing was too wet. Here too, everything was not balanced and it still bothers me. The accompanying polenta was not tasty either. You probably want to try new things but the chef has not managed to find the right balance of flavors and textures. There are no dishes specifically for children on the menu, but bratwurst and schnitzel with fries are available on request - price unknown. But what can a couple of fries and a small schnitzel cost? But we shouldn't be stingy with our wallets here either. ADDITIONALLY, the children were served on hot plates that the waiter himself had served with a kitchen towel. I was not happy with hungry children. I have to say, we are now in the cold season, so there is no need for ice-cold water or apple juice spritzer. Especially for the kids, it should be possible to get drinks at room temperature. The ambience was clean, but I felt the staff were overwhelmed with the 5 tables that were occupied, and we didn't even say goodbye. Unfortunately, we won't be seeing each other again.

The food is of above-average quality. At times, it's even comparable to fine dining. The prices are significantly below the level of so-called fine dining. However, they are certainly higher than those of the "Heiz ist Geil" restaurants. Here, convenience foods are completely avoided. Here, proper cooking is still practiced, with great attention to the quality of the products.

Both my rump steak (ordered medium-rare) and the fish dish 🐠 I ordered (monkfish cheeks) were cooked to perfection, and my wife's fish dish 🐠 (monkfish cheeks) was also beautifully prepared. The only small downside❗️: With a final bill of almost €90, do you really have to charge an extra 👉 €4.50 for a small sauceboat with "juice"❓❗️🤔🤔

Yes if you bring a lot of money

We visited twice. Once without a reservation for a glass of wine and a cheese platter, and the second time with a reservation for dinner. The food is excellent. The wine selection is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. We were very satisfied and can 100% recommend the Winzerstube.

We just came from the Winzerstube. Normally, we would have had another spritzer. The food was okay. However, we were disappointed that, despite having made a reservation, we were assigned a table on the terrace in the passageway to the street. Due to the traffic, it was unpleasantly loud. Since several tables were still free, we asked to be moved. Unfortunately, this request was refused. These tables were still unoccupied when we left the restaurant. Hence only three stars.

A very talented chef in the kitchen and service.

The food at the Winzer Stube Mussbach is unbeatable. The service, however, was completely overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was at most half full. First, they had to wait a long time to decide where to sit, then they forgot my wine order for the main course. So, only mineral water was served with the very good meal. There was no compensation, just a flippant apology from the waiter. A free espresso would have left me satisfied. A shame. But unfortunately, it's getting harder and harder to find good staff...

Great food AND really a lot of food per item. We had the schnitzel, kids size. More than enough for an adult.

I can recommend the Winzerstube to everyone! The atmosphere is inviting, and the food is of excellent quality. The service is attentive and friendly. Every visit is a pleasure, and I'm already looking forward to my next one. Highly recommended!

We went to celebrate Grandma's birthday with 20 people. We discussed everything beforehand, and everything was executed exactly as planned. The staff was super friendly, and the food was excellent. Grandma had a fantastic 95th birthday. We'd love to come back.

We ate very good schnitzel and drank delicious wine. The prices were moderate and absolutely reasonable. The staff was friendly; we'll definitely be back.

We didn't make a reservation, there were a lot of tables free, but apparently a lot of them were kept free even though hardly any guests came. But we were still offered a table outside. The food was very good and well prepared, and the price/performance ratio was also right. The portions were plentiful. The wine selection is large and inexpensive.

The Winzerstube was recommended to us several times. Unfortunately, without a reservation there is no chance, at least towards weekends/holidays. The guest room is a mix of traditional and modernized/renovated. The service was very friendly, even though it was very busy on Easter Sunday and it took a little longer. The food itself was very good and of high quality. Here you definitely cook yourself and do it with good craftsmanship. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely justified.

We went to this winery for the first time on a recommendation. After a hectic day at the Almond Blossom Festival in Gimmeldingen, it was the right balance. The service was very friendly and competent. Our friends also really enjoyed the food and we will definitely be back. It was a successful conclusion to a very nice “vacation day” at home.

Not highly recommended. The food was okay, grade 3, more like 3-4. A very uncomfortable atmosphere, our reserved table was carelessly set. The chef joined us at a neighboring table, probably familiar faces. It is understood that a chef also asks the guests at the table opposite how it tasted and whether everything was OK. Instead, he didn't even look at us, there were five of us. We also understand that the waitress, who was new, could not answer all of our questions about the food. But the fact that we had to be content with empty glasses for well over half an hour and that we weren't even asked if we wanted a dessert was met with incomprehension and added to the discomfort even more. And whether new or not, these basics MUST be brought into the catering industry, that's what the guest can and should expect. Wouldn't come anymore.

Highly recommended, cozy, the food was delicious, extremely hospitable and clean. A little more expensive, but worth it I haven't had the rump steak so well in a long time. Very tasty wines, simply recommended. Large parking lot behind the property 24 hours a day. 👍

Very cozy, family wine bar. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Large and regional wine selection is fun. The tortellini with black pudding were really great, but it didn't need two types of onions (roasted and in sauce). Less is more. The cheese plate could also be more inspired in its selection. Some varieties were tasteless/out of the package. Very nice service and the kitchen also stops by. You feel seen and. Perceived. Keep it up.

Nice restaurant, good food. The ambience was rather rustic, but ok, although the noise level was quite high as it was very busy. Our table was close to the entrance, so there was a “draft” when each new guest entered. All in all, a nice evening.

We went to the Winzerstube for the first time yesterday and were thrilled. We called the day before and asked if our daughter could have gluten free food. The kitchen then bought extra bread for our daughter and served a wonderful salad with strips of beef. The chef came to our table and made sure again what was tolerated. Both the chef and the staff were competent and very friendly. Our schnitzels were freshly prepared and the taste was excellent. We will definitely come back and thank you for the lovely evening. ADDENDUM: Unfortunately this time it wasn't as perfect as the first visit. The green salad with tomatoes and beef for my daughter, which was dressed with a dressing we brought with us, cost 12.90 euros on the first visit. This time it was 21 euros. Unfortunately, the rest of the expensive dressing didn't find its way back into our cooler bag, so we didn't ask for it later because we didn't know whether it was cold by then. The schnitzels were again very good. The potato salad wasn't as good as last time because the potato pieces were much larger and therefore had little flavor. The gluten-free bread also came very late and the two quark bowls for a total of six adults were already empty. I had to ask if my daughter could have some more quark too. That was a bit of a shame.

I have rarely felt so comfortable in a restaurant. First of all, extremely friendly and courteous staff. First-class dishes were served with a small but fine selection of wines. It was also striking that children at the neighboring table were treated particularly well. Which, unfortunately, is becoming more and more rare these days. All in all, the five of us were completely satisfied. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We were there for the 3rd time today on May 1st. The schnitzel and the salad (a bit of each) were 1a. Great value for money! Sasen in the courtyard, everything set up in a very hospitable manner. Always happy to come back. Definitely recommended.

We have been to the Winzerstube several times. The food is super delicious. The service was very accommodating. Every now and then the head chef even comes out of the kitchen and personally asks if everything is OK or if anything can be done. We can only recommend the Winzerstube!

We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday in the Winzerstube on April 6, 2024. Food: super tasty, upscale cuisine, service: absolutely great/unbeatable for us, ambience: just makes you feel good. Price/performance more than top. Gladly again at any time. Many thanks to the entire team.

Home-style Palatinate cuisine, tasty and very rich! Very friendly service. Very real prices! I almost deducted a star from the overall rating: Unfortunately, the ambience in the actually beautiful, classic guest room is completely disturbed by the lighting, in my opinion, which is far too bright. I know the innkeeper will be tearing his hair out now because you can't please anyone, because the next person will probably complain because he wants to see what he has on his plate. But I personally didn't feel comfortable. In the dining room, which is actually pretty, you could do a lot more with a flower on the table and some indirect lighting. This is a constructive comment that serves as inspiration.

Sweet little restaurant. The owner, who is also the cook, tries very hard. The toilets are very modern and clean. Since I'm used to top restaurants in Frankfurt, this one can't keep up, but otherwise it's good. A mix of pub and restaurant.

It was nice food. A little bit salty and a tick too expensive. The atmosphere was cozy. Service was great.

Beautifully renovated rooms await guests in an old half-timbered house. Ms. Schaich welcomes you in a very friendly manner and provides perfect service. The head chef, Mr. Schaich, ensures tasty culinary delights with high-quality ingredients and his culinary skills. Whether the corn pularde breast stuffed with a veal farce and coated in bacon or the schnitzel with a crispy breading, all dishes were fried to perfection, the meat was juicy and the taste was balanced. The wonderful sparkling wines and wines from the Weinbiet winemakers were the ideal companions for an unrestricted feel-good experience.

Very tasty food, friendly service gladly again

Really extremely good food, the relatively small menu includes Palatinate specialties as well as German dishes. The wines are selected and you can trust the recommendations of the service staff. There were three of us and we waited a good 20 minutes for the food, absolutely fine. The ambience is as you would expect from a wine bar in the Palatinate, cozy, clean and rustic, the prices are reasonable.

Gehobene Preisklasse, aber dafür auch eine exzellente Küche, freundliches Personal und eine kinderfreundliche Einstellung (sie bekamen Brettspiele angeboten). Zwei Daumen hoch!

Wir waren dort mit der Familie essen und waren, nach dem was wir zuvor gehört haben, ziemlich enttäuscht. Nach dem wir sowohl Getränke, Vor-/ und Hauptspeise bestellt hatten, haben wir eine Stunde gewartet bis ich noch mal nachgefragt habe wann denn die Vorspeise serviert wird. Mir hat man dann erklärt, dass heute sehr viel los sei und das kann dann schon mal dauern.... Gut wäre gewesen, wir hätten zwischendurch mal einen Hinweis bekommen das es noch dauert, anstatt nichts zu sagen und uns einfach warten zu lassen. Die Vorspeisen waren alle gut und haben geschmeckt. Die Hauptgerichte haben auch wieder etwas auf sich warten lassen und wurden leider nicht gleichzeitig seviert, 7 Hauptspeisen kamen über ca. 10 minuten verteiltan den Tisch. Der Sinn gemeinsam essen zu gehen ist, gemeinsam zu essen, das ging leider nicht. Dann auch leider noch qualitative Mängel, die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr fettig, das Rumpsteak fast kalt und die Schnitzel nicht richtig ausgebacken, panade nicht braun und fettig. Das Kalbsgulasch und die cordon bleus waren gut. Zum Abschluss haben wir noch Schnaps bestellt, als der an den Tisch kam war mein Eindruck komplett, denn die Gläser waren nur zur Hälfte gefüllt, gekostet haben sie aber den vollen Preis, 5,5 bis 6,5 Euro. Ich habe keine Ahnung was da schief gelaufen ist, aber das kann doch nicht der Standard sein. Der Service war nett und freundlich. Anpassung am 14.11.2023. Sorry, es war tatsächlich kein Lammgulasch sondern Kalb und der Schnaps war ein Brand.

Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und haben noch den letzten freien Tisch bekommen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Essen war ein Gedicht. Das Pfälzer Dreierlei können wir empfehlen- Gute Pfälzer Küche. Ein gelungener Abend. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Eigentlich müssten hier 5 Sterne stehen, denn Qualität, Preis-Leistung und Service sind wirklich großartig. Leider ist die Winzerstube im Sommer, wo man draußen sitzen möchte, keine Option mehr für uns. Warum? Mehrfach wurde im Innenhof geraucht, auch auf Kleinkinder wurde keine Rücksicht genommen. Auf unseren Hinweis gab es nur das Angebot nach Innen zu wechseln. Die Rauchertische (selbst mit Kindern!) waren beide Male sichtbar bekannt mit dem (sehr guten) Koch. Schade, dass da nicht mehr auf andere Gäste geachtet ist wird.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit auch ausgefallenen Speisen, sehr netter Service. Gerne auch ein weiteres Mal kommen wir wieder!

Wir waren am Sonntag Mittag in der Winzerstube zum Mittagessen. Das Ambiente im Innenhof ist sehr schön und der Service war auch wunderbar. Leider wurde die Freude mit dem Essen getrübt. Wir haben zweimal den Bufala Campana für 15,90€ bestellt und einmal das Cordon Bleu. Als das Essen kam dachte ich mich trifft der Schlag, eine Handvoll Friseesalat mit 3 kleinen Kügelchen Bufala und einer kleinen Tomate halbiert für 15,90€???? Also bei allem Verständnis für die Inflation, das war einfach unverschämt. Am Ende waren wir noch hungrig und enttäuscht. Auch die Reaktion auf meine Anmerkung war nicht zufriedenstellend und wurde mit „gebe ich weiter“ abgetan. Sehr schade, aber wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen!
